| 2 | Evolutionary ciphers against differential power analysis and differential fault analysis显示文摘Side channel analysis(SCA) focuses on attacking cryptographic algorithm implementations by collecting leaked information and analyzing the correlation between the leaked and key information in the cryptographic system.Currently,SCA is the main threat to cryptographic implementations,with DPA(differential power analysis) and DFA(differential fault analysis) being two of the most threatening types of SCA.However,the existing countermeasures against DPA and DFA have shortcomings and can hardly protect cipher designs perfectly.Based on a comprehensive analysis of DPA and DFA,this paper proposes a new idea of using an evolutionary cipher(EVOC) against DPAs based on the model proposed by Kocher,and several different new types of DFAs.In fact,an EVOC is a kind of dynamic cipher designing method.Moreover,combined with intelligent searching algorithms and cryptography design policies,EVOCs utilize the dynamic and unpredictable properties of TRNG(a truly random number generator) to ensure cipher design at a high level of security.Therefore,with an EVOC we could design cryptography algorithms with high security to resist mathematical analysis as well as DPAs and DFAs.This paper analyzes and proves the security,efficiency,cost,and original features of EVOCs against DPA and DFA both theoretically and experimentally.Compared with existing countermeasures against SCAs,EVOCs use dynamic non-linear operations to destroy the bases of DPA and DFA.At the algorithm level,EVOCs are more efficient than other resistance methods.Based on the theory and experiments,this paper proposes certain modifications to the EVOC in the AES(advanced encryption standard) algorithm,which can be referenced by other dynamic designs of cryptographic algorithms. | TANG Ming QIU ZhenLong YANG Min CHENG PingPan GAO Si LIU ShuBo MENG QinShu | 2012 | Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,11: | 5 |
| 3 | Effects of charged sand on electromagnetic wave propagation and its scattering field显示文摘Based on the Rayleigh’s scattering theory, the effects of sandstorms on the propagation of electromagnetic wave with different visibilities are presented by solving the scattering field of charged sand particles. Because of the electric charges on the sand surface, the theoretical attenuation will be large enough to match the measured value under certain conditions. | 8 | Deletion of a Dna K protein gene causes seedling green-revertible albino by retarding chloroplast development in rice显示文摘Green-revertible albino mutants are important sources for studying chloroplast structure, chloroplast development, chlorophyll biosynthesis, and plant photosynthesis. In the present study, we characterized a greenrevertible albino mutant gra(k), which was obtained from the tissue-cultured rice Kitaake. The mutant gra(k) exhibited albino on its first three leaves. The leaf color started to turn green at the four-leaf stage. The chlorophyll contents were deeply reduced at the seedling stage, and the chloroplast development was delayed in gra(k). The greenrevertible albino(gra) phenotype of the mutant gra(k) was temperature dependent. The main agronomic traits,including plant height, tilling number per plant, seed setting rate, and thousand-grain weight, slightly decreased in gra(k) comparing to those in the wild-type Kitaake.Genetic analysis showed that the gra phenotype was controlled by a single recessive nucleic gene. By using 5,168 recessive F2individuals derived from the cross of gra(k) 9 Jodan, the locus of the gene Gra(k) was delimited in a DNA region of 200 kb between the makers B-31 and P11 on chromosome 5. Sequencing analysis indicated thatthe three functionally annotated genes, LOC_Os05g23700,LOC_Os05g23720, and LOC_Os05g23740, were all deleted in the 200 kb region in the mutant gra(k). Transgenic test revealed that the gra(k) plants over-expressing LOC_Os05g23740CDS were restored to normal green as the wild-type Kitaake. | 9 | Point-of-care testing for lysine concentration in swine serum via blue-emissive carbon dot-entrapped microfluidic chip显示文摘Lysine is one of the essential amino acids and plays a vital role in the growth,development and health of pigs.Blood lysine concentration is a direct indication of lysine status;however,current methods can not satisfy the demands for rapid and on-site lysine concentration measurement of swine serum.Here,we developed blue-emissive nitrogen-doped carbon dots as a fluorescence probe for the determination of lysine with high fluorescence quantum yield,stability,sensitivity and specificity.The carbon dots were entrapped within hydrogel microstructures to fabricate microfluidic chips for rapid assay for lysine quantification.We further developed an imaging attachment to integrate the microfluidic chip and a smartphone into a portable point-of-care testing platform.This platform requires only 3μL sample and has a linear detection range of 25 to 300μmol/L with a limit of detection less than 16μmol/L,which covers the normal range of lysine concentration in swine serum.We tested lysine concentration in swine serum using this platform with high accuracy,low sample consumption,and within 3 min.Together,these results may provide a rapid and portable platform for dynamic monitoring of swine lysine status and contribute to precise feed formula modulation with low-protein diet strategy. | Chizhu Ding Xiang Chen Xiaoyu Chen Yue Liu Menglin Xia Ziyi He Qinshu Kang Xianghua Yan | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023,,1: | 0 |
