1Preparation of lignin/TiO2 nanocomposites and their application in aqueous polyurethane coatings显示文摘A simple method using a water soluble lignin quaternary ammonium salt (LQAS) and TiO2 has been developed for the preparation of lignin/TiO2 nanocomposites in an aqueous medium under mild conditions. The LQAS/TiO2 nanocomposites contain well-dispersed small particles with excellent ultraviolet (UV) shielding abilities and good compatibilities with waterborne polyurethane (WPU). When the LQAS/TiO2 nanocomposites were blended with WPU, the UV absorbance and the tensile ductility of the WPU increased significantly. The composite WPU hybrid film containing 6 wt-% LQAS/TiO2 nanocomposite had the highest visible light transmittance and had excellent ultraviolet aging properties. After 192 h of UV light irradiation, the tensile strength of the composite film was above 8 MPa and the elongation at break was 800%. 3Oxidative depolymerization of lignin improved by enzymolysis pretreatment with laccase显示文摘A new lignin depolymerization approach for improving the yield of aromatic monomers(YAM) by enzymolysis pretreatment was investigated, in which lignin was pretreated with laccase followed by oxidative depolymerization. It was found that lignin depolymeirzation was enhanced significantly by enzymolysis. The oxidative depolymerization contributed to 21.37% of YAM after the enzymolysis pretreatment,whereas the conventional oxidative depolymerization only gave 14.10% of YAM. The addition of ethanol in enzymatic pretreatment process improved the efficiency of enzymolysis, which effectively improved the solubility of pretreated lignin and depolymerization degree(DD) of lignin. The enzymolysis pretreatment increased the content of syringyl(S) style aromatic monomers, which hindered the recondensation among polymerized products. As lignin has low solubility in acidic aqueous solution, ethanol was added into enzymolysis system to improve the efficiency. 4Microwave assisted liquefaction of wheat straw alkali lignin for the production of monophenolic compounds显示文摘The microwave assisted liquefaction process of wheat straw alkali lignin was investigated to obtain monophenolic compounds as the precursor of bio-fuel. It is found that the total yield of monophenolic compounds is significantly improved under microwave irradiation, reaching 15.77%under a relatively mild liquefaction condition of 10 wt% H2SO4 as the catalyst, 10 wt% phenol as the hydrogen-donor reagent at 120?C for40 min. Compared with conventional thermal liquefaction process, microwave irradiation promotes the cleavage of C–C bonds, which gives an extra 29% of Caryl–Cα bond cleavage, and increases the yield of monophenolic compounds from 0.92% to 13.61% under the same conditions.The excessive temperature and prolonged time under microwave irradiation will promote the recondensation of degraded lignin fragments, so the key to obtain high yield of monophenolic compounds is to avoid the recondensation reaction. 13The Formation and Evolution of Uvarovite in UHP Serpentinite and Rodingite and its Constraints on Chromium Mobility in the Oceanic Subduction Zone显示文摘The uvarovite-andradite and uvarovite-andradite-grossular solid-solution series are rare in nature.The discovery of uvarovite-andradite in serpentinite and rodingite from the ultra-high pressure(UHP)metamorphic belt in southwestern Tianshan provided an opportunity to investigate its behavior in the subduction zone.Uvarovite(defined as chromiumgarnet)from serpentinite is homogeneous in a single grain,covering compositions in the uvarovite-andradite solid solution series of Adr_(58-66)Uv_(33-41),with few grossular components.Uvarovite from rodingites contain various Cr_(2)O_(3) contents(1.7-17.9 wt%)and mineral compositions being in the range of Adr_(21-31)Uv_(41-50)Grs_(22-37),Adr_(52-90)Uv_(5-25)Grs_(0-21) and Adr_(19-67)Uv_(3-63)Grs_(13-42).Discontinuous chemical variation of uvarovite from core to rim indicates that uvarovite formed by consuming andradite and chromite,which could provide Ca,Cr,Al and Fe.Raman signals of water were identified for uvarovite from both serpentinite and rodingite,with high water content in uvarovite from serpentinite.The high pressure mineral assemblage,as well as the association with perovskite,indicated that the studied uvarovite from serpentinite and rodingite was formed through high pressure metamorphism,during the subduction zone serpentinization and rodingitization.High alkaline and highly reduced fluids released from serpentinization or rodingitization in the oceanic subduction zone promote the mobility of chromium and enable its long-distance migration.ZHANG Cong SHEN Tingting ZHANG Lifei LIN Congcong ZHANG Zhongwei Qin Xueqing HU Han QIU Tian XIANG Zhenqun ZHANG Jianxin 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,5:1

15Lead‑Carbon Batteries toward Future Energy Storage:From Mechanism and Materials to Applications显示文摘The lead acid battery has been a dominant device in large-scale energy storage systems since its invention in 1859.It has been the most successful commercialized aqueous electrochemical energy storage system ever since.In addition,this type of battery has witnessed the emergence and development of modern electricity-powered society.Nevertheless,lead acid batteries have technologically evolved since their invention.Over the past two decades,engineers and scientists have been exploring the applications of lead acid batteries in emerging devices such as hybrid electric vehicles and renewable energy storage;these applications necessitate operation under partial state of charge.Considerable endeavors have been devoted to the development of advanced carbon-enhanced lead acid battery(i.e.,lead-carbon battery)technologies.Achievements have been made in developing advanced lead-carbon negative electrodes.Additionally,there has been significant progress in developing commercially available lead-carbon battery products.Therefore,exploring a durable,long-life,corrosion-resistive lead dioxide positive electrode is of significance.In this review,the possible design strategies for advanced maintenance-free lead-carbon batteries and new rechargeable battery configurations based on lead acid battery technology are critically reviewed.Moreover,a synopsis of the lead-carbon battery is provided from the mechanism,additive manufacturing,electrode fabrication,and full cell evaluation to practical applications.Jian Yin Haibo Lin Jun Shi Zheqi Lin Jinpeng Bao Yue Wang Xuliang Lin Yanlin Qin Xueqing Qiu Wenli Zhang 2022Electrochemical Energy Reviews2022,5,3:1
