| 1 | Mapping wetland changes in China between 1978 and 2008显示文摘Four wetland maps for all China have been produced,based on Landsat and CBERS-02B remote sensing data between 1978 and 2008 (1978,1990,2000 and 2008).These maps were mainly developed by manual interpretation and validated by substantial field investigation in 2009.Based on these maps,we analyzed the 2008 wetland distribution in China and discussed wetland changes and their drivers over the past 30 years.(i) There were about 324097 km 2 of wetlands in 2008,for which inland marshes or swamps were the most common wetland type (35%),with lakes (26%) second.Most of the wetlands were in Heilongjiang,Inner Mongolia,Qinghai and Tibet,occupying about 55% of the national wetland area.(ii) From 1978 to 2008,China's wetland area continually and significantly decreased,by about 33% based on changes in the wetland map.This was in sharp contrast to the increase in artificial wetlands,which increased by about 122%.Inland marshes accounted for the main loss of total wetlands from 1978 to 2000.From 2000 through 2008,riverine and lacustrine wetlands constituted the main wetland loss.Fortunately however,the rate of wetland loss decreased from 5523 to 831 km 2 /a.(iii) The change ratio of lost natural wetlands (including inland and coastal wetlands) to non-wetlands has decreased slightly over the past 30 years.From 1978 to 1990,nearly all natural wetlands (98%) lost were transformed into non-wetlands.However,the ratio declined to 86% from 1990 to 2000,and to 77% from 2000 to 2008.(iv) All Chinese provinces were divided into three groups according to patterns of wetland changes,which could relate to the driving forces of such changes.Tibet was completely different from other provinces,as it was one representative example in which there was a net wetland increase,because of global warming and decreased human activity since 1990.Increased economic development caused considerable wetland loss in most eastern provinces,and artificial wetlands increased. | NIU ZhenGuo ZHANG HaiYing WANG XianWei YAO WenBo ZHOU DeMin ZHAO KuiYi ZHAO Hui LI NaNa HUANG HuaBing LI CongCong YANG Jun LIU CaiXia LIU Shuang WANG Lin LI Zhan YANG ZhenZhong QIAO Fei ZHENG YaoMin CHEN YanLei SHENG YongWei GAO XiaoHong ZHU WeiHong WANG WenQing WANG Hong WENG YongLing ZHUANG DaFang LIU JiYuan LUO ZhiCai CHENG Xiao GUO ZiQi GONG Peng | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,22: | 51 |

| 3 | Dynamic microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of dilute Mg-Al-Ca-Mn alloy during hot rolling显示文摘The dynamic microstructure and texture of dilute Mg-0.50Al-0.71Ca-0.33Mn(wt.%) during hot rolling at two slab temperatures were investigated by electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM). The results show that the development of the rolling microstructures is to first form {10–12} extension twins in the original grains, thereby forming the extension-twinned regions, and then to further form {10–11}-{10–12} double twins and kinks in the extension-twinned regions, and finally to form continuous dynamic recrystallized(continuous DRXed)grains in the double twins and the cross parts of the shear-deformed coarse extension-twinned regions.These extension twins, double twins and kinks show a decisive effect on the formation of rolling texture.The number of {10–11}-{10–12} double twins and resultant the continuous DRX process are strongly affected by the rolling slab temperature and the reduction thickness per pass. By optimizing the rolling conditions, texture and microstructures of the multi-pass rolled Mg-Al-Ca-Mn alloy sheets are successfully modified. | 5 | Analysis of QTLs for erucic acid and oil content in seeds on A8 chromosome and the linkage drag between the alleles for the two traits in Brassica napus显示文摘The history of canola breeding began with the discovery of germplasm with low erucic acid content in seeds of spring forage cultivar in the 1950's.FAE1 mutations led to a dramatic decrease of the seed erucic acid content in Arabidopsis thaliana.The products of the two FAE1 loci,BnA8.FAE1 and BnC3.FAE1,showed additive effects to the level of erucic acid content in oilseed rape.Previous research believed that the pleiotropy of FAE1 was responsible for the decrease in seed oil content along with the reduction of seed erucic acid content in the modern cultivars.TN DH population was developed from a canola cultivar Tapidor and a Chinese traditional cultivar Ningyou7.The population had been tested in 10 and 11 environments to map QTLs for the erucic acid content and oil content in seeds.As the map resolution increased,a novel QTL for seed erucic acid content was revealed,after Meta-analysis,7 cM away from the most significant seed erucic acid content QTL where BnA8.FAE1 is located.Seven independent QTLs for seed oil content(qOC) were detected around the two seed erucic acid content QTLs(qEA) across 39.20 cM on linkage group A8.Two of the qOCs co-localized with the two qEAs,respectively,and were detected in a single environment.The other five qOCs were detected in 10 of 11 environments independent of qEAs.Alleles from Tapidor in all the QTLs at the 0-39.20 cM region contributed negative effects to either erucic acid content or oil content in seeds.Parallel,geno-typing showed that on 5 of the 7 QTLs regions,Tapidor alleles had the same genotypes with that in 'Liho',the original low seed erucic acid content source.Through rounds of crossbreeding with oil-cropped cultivars and intensive selection for multi generations,Tapidor still had the inferior alleles for low seed oil content from 'Liho',the forage rape.This showed a strong linkage drag of low seed oil content,which was controlled by the five qEA-independent qOCs,with low seed erucic acid content.Ninety cultivars of B.napus from 8 countries were used to analyze the genetic drag with 9 molecular markers located in the QTL confidence intervals(24.04 cM) on linkage group A8.It was noticed that more than 46% of the cultivars with low seed erucic acid content trait remained the genotype of low seed oil content at least in one locus.Backcross and marker-assisted selection could break the genetic drag between the low oil content and erucic acid in seeds in the process for breeding modern high seed oil content canola cultivars. | Zhengying Cao Fang Tian Nian Wang Congcong Jiang Bing Lin Wei Xia Jiaqin Shi Yah Long Chunyu Zhang Jinling Meng | 2010 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2010,37,4: | 2 |

| 7 | Endothelial Notch activation promotes neutrophil transmigration via downregulating endomucin to aggravate hepatic ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘Inflammatory leukocytes infiltration is orchestrated by mechanisms involving chemokines,selectins,addressins and other adhesion molecules derived from endothelial cells(ECs),but how they respond to inflammatory cues and coordinate leukocyte transmigration remain elusive.In this study,using hepatic ischemia/reperfusion injury(HIRI)as a model,we identified that endothelial Notch activation was rapidly and dynamically induced in liver sinusoidal endothelial cells(LSECs)in acute inflammation.In mice with EC-specific Notch activation(NICeCA),HIRI induced exacerbated liver damage.Consistently,endothelial Notch activation enhanced neutrophil infiltration and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-αexpression in HIRI.Transcriptome analysis and further qRT-PCR as well as immunofluorescence indicated that endomucin(EMCN),a negative regulator of leukocyte adhesion,was downregulated in LSECs from NICeCA mice.EMCN was downregulated during HIRI in wild-type mice and in vitro cultured ECs insulted by hypoxia/re-oxygenation injury.Notch activation in ECs led to increased neutrophil adhesion and transendothelial migration,which was abrogated by EMCN overexpression in vitro.In mice deficient of RBPj,the integrative transcription factor of canonical Notch signaling,although overwhelming sinusoidal malformation aggravated HIRI,the expression of EMCN was upregulated;and pharmaceutical Notch blockade in vitro also upregulated EMCN and inhibited transendothelial migration of neutrophils.The Notch activation-exaggerated HIRI was compromised by blocking LFA-1,which mediated leukocyte adherence by associating with EMCN.Therefore,endothelial Notch signaling controls neutrophil transmigration via EMCN to modulate acute inflammation in HIRI. | Peiran Zhang Kangyi Yue Xinli Liu Xianchun Yan Ziyan Yang Juanli Duan Congcong Xia Xinyuan Xu Mei Zhang Liang Liang Lin Wang Hua Han | 2020 | Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,3: | 1 |

| 13 | Application of immersed boundary method in turbomachines显示文摘Simulating unsteady turbulent flow in turbomachines is still challenging due to the complexity of blade geometry and relative motion between rotor and stator.This study presents an Immersed Boundary Method(IBM)for high-Reynolds turbomachinery internal flows,and shows the advantage of the automatic grid generation techniques and flexible moving boundary treatments.The wall functions are used in the present method to alleviate the wall resolution restriction of turbulence simulation.The Two-Dimensional(2-D)IBM solver,which was previously developed and tested for a low-speed compressor,is further validated for a well-documented Low-Pressure Turbine(LPT)cascade.Both the blade loading and the total pressure losses in the wake are well captured by the present 2-D solver.The complex Three-Dimensional(3-D)effects in turbomachines motivate the further development of an extended 3-D IBM solver by using a curvilinear-coordinate system that facilitates the hub and casing boundary treatment.The good performance of the 3-D solver is demonstrated through comparison with CFX solver solutions for the rotor configuration of Advanced Noise Control Fan(ANCF).Further effects of the grid resolution on capturing the blade wake are discussed.The results indicate that the present 3-D solver is capable of reproducing the evolution of the blade wake with suitable computational grid. | Congcong CHEN Yuwei WANG Zhuo WANG Lin DU Xiaofeng SUN | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,5: | 1 |

| 15 | The proximity between hydroxyl and single atom determines the catalytic reactivity of Rh1/CeO_(2) single-atom catalysts显示文摘The local structure of the metal single-atom site is closely related to the catalytic activity of metal single-atom catalysts(SACs).However,constructing SACs with homogeneous metal active sites is a challenge due to the surface heterogeneity of the conventional support.Herein,we prepared two Rh1/CeO_(2)SACs(0.5Rh1/r-CeO_(2)and 0.5Rh1/c-CeO_(2),respectively)using two shaped CeO_(2)(rod and cube)exposing different facets,i.e.,CeO_(2)(111)and CeO_(2)(100).In CO oxidation reaction,the T100 of 0.5Rh1/r-CeO_(2)SACs is 120°C,while the T100 of 0.5Rh1/c-CeO_(2)SACs is as high as 200°C.Via in-situ CO diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(CO-DRIFTS),we found that the proximity between OH group and Rh single atom on the plane surface plays an important role in the catalytic activity of Rh1/CeO_(2)SAC system in CO oxidation.The Rh single atom trapped at the CeO_(2)(111)crystal surface forms the Rh1(OH)adjacent species,which is not found on the CeO_(2)(100)crystal surface at room temperature.Furthermore,during CO oxidation,the OH group far from Rh single atom on the 0.5Rh1/c-CeO_(2)disappears and forms Rh1(OH)adjacent species when the temperature is above 150°C.The formation of Rh1(OH)adjacentCO intermediate in the reaction is pivotal for the excellent catalytic activity,which explains the difference in the catalytic activity of Rh single atoms on two different CeO_(2)planes.The formed Rh1(OH)adjacent-O-Ce structure exhibits good stability in the reducing atmosphere,maintaining the Rh atomic dispersion after CO oxidation even when pre-reduced at high temperature of 500°C.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations validate the unique activity and reaction path of the intermediate Rh1(OH)adjacentCO species formed.This work demonstrates that the proximity between metal single atom and hydroxyl can determine the formation of active intermediates to affect the catalytic performances in catalysis. | Danfeng Wu Shuyun Zhou Congcong Du Juan Li Jianyu Huang Hong-xia Shen Abhaya K.Datye Shan Jiang Jeffrey T.Miller Sen Lin Haifeng Xiong | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,1: | 0 |
| 16 | Prohibitin Protein Expression During Spermatogenesis in the Large Yellow Croaker, Larimichthys crocea显示文摘Mitochondria are important for animals’fertility,and their morphologies and functions during spermatogenesis are un-der investigation.However,the molecular mechanism that regulates the mitochondrial dynamic during spermatogenesis is still un-known.In this study,the cytological features of spermatogenesis were investigated in Larimichthys crocea.In addition,the structure and function of prohibitin(PHB),which is associated with mitochondrial structure and dynamic,was also investigated.The full-length cDNA and protein(Lc-PHB)from the L.crocea phb gene(Lc-phb)contained 1625 base pairs and 271 amino acids,respec-tively.Lc-PHB had a conserved primary structure that resulted in a transmembrane,SPFH(the analogous region of proteins stomat-ins,prohibitins,flotillins and HflK/C),and coiled-coil domains.It was detected at high levels in the muscle,liver,and heart,and at intermediate levels in the testis,gill,and brain.Lc-phb mRNA expression was detected in spermatogenic cells by fluorescence in situ hybridization.An immunofluorescence assay revealed that PHB protein was localized in the mitochondria during spermatogenesis.Specifically,PHB expression was detected in the perinuclear cytoplasm of spermatogonia,spermatocytes,and spermatids in the early developmental stage,and mainly localized on one side of the nuclei in the cytoplasm of spermatids in a middle developmental stage,and finally on the sperm midpiece.Western blotting showed that PHB was located in the extracted mitochondria protein fraction but not in the cytoplasm protein fraction of testes.Conclusively,these results indicated that PHB was expressed in the mitochondria dur-ing spermatogenesis.In addition,the study explained the mitochondrial dynamic during fish spermatogenesis and proposed a possi-ble relationship among PHB,spermatogenesis,and male fertility. | LIN Chenwen GAO Xinming NI Jie ZHANG Shengshuo LIU Cheng LUO Shengyu DU Chen ZHENG Xuebin HOU Congcong TANG Daojun ZHANG Chundan ZHU Junquan | 2022 | Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,5: | 0 |
| 17 | Experimental and numerical study on the shrinkage-deformation of carrot slices during hot air drying显示文摘In order to further understand the mechanism of material volume change in the drying process,numerical simulations(considering or neglecting shrinkage)of heat and mass transfer during convective drying of carrot slices under constant and controlled temperature and relative humidity were carried out.Simulated results were validated with experimental data.The results of the simulation show that the Quadratic model fitted well to the moisture ratio and the material temperature data trend with average relative errors of 5.9%and 8.1%,respectively.Additionally,the results of the simulation considering shrinkage show that the moisture and temperature distributions during drying are closer to the experimental data than the results of the simulation disregarding shrinkage.The material moisture content was significantly related to the shrinkage of dried tissue.Temperature and relative humidity significantly affected the volume shrinkage of carrot slices.The volume shrinkage increased with the rising of the constant temperature and the decline of relative humidity.This model can be used to provide more information on the dynamics of heat and mass transfer during drying and can also be adapted to other products and dryers devices. | Dalong Jiang Congcong Li Zifan Lin Yuntian Wu Hongjuan Pei Magdalena Zielinska Hongwei Xiao | 2023 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,1: | 0 |
| 18 | Ultrasonic Microwave Assisted Extraction of Polysaccharides from Sipunculus nudus显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to optimize experimental conditions for extraction of polysaccharides from Sipunculus nudus.[Methods]With the Sipunculus nudus from Sanya as the experimental material,S.nudus polysaccharide was extracted by ultrasonic microwave assisted method,during which univariate factors including solid-liquid ratio,time,temperature,ultrasonic power,microwave power were investigated,to select optimal extracting conditions,which were also demonstrated and optimized by variance and response surface analysis.The optimized conditions were adopted to carry out a test,in which the absorbance of S.nudus polysaccharide was measured with an ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometer,followed by the calculation of the extracting amount of polysaccharide,and precision test and recovery test were also carried out to verify the experimental method.[Results]The standard solutions were determined at the maximum absorption wavelength of 486 nm,and the regression equation was A = 0.2677 C + 0.001 8,R^2= 0.999 8.Solid-liquid ratio,time,temperature,ultrasonic power and microwave power were investigated by univariate analysis and then optimized by response surface method as follows: solid-liquid ratio at 1:20( g/ml),time of 35 min,temperature at 50 ℃,ultrasonic power at 420 W and microwave power at 300 W,under which the measured extracting amount of S.nudus polysaccharide was1.37 mg/g.The RSD was 0.985% in precision experiment.In the repeatability test,the extracting amounts of polysaccharide were 1.41,1.43 and 1.38 mg/g for three parallel tests,respectively,with a RSD of 1.140%.The recovery test obtained following results: for group a( added with glucose standard) : the recovery of S.nudus polysaccharide was in the range of 100.3%-101.4%,RSD = 0.03%; and for group b( not added with glucose standard) : the recovery of S.nudus polysaccharide was in the range of 99.7%-100.3%,RSD = 0.02%.[Conclusions]The research method is stable and reliable.This study provides data basis and reference for follow-up study on S.nudus. | Wen CHEN Xiangjun WANG Yujie WANG Shunqi ZHANG Xu LIN Chenjia JIAO Congcong ZHANG | 2018 | Agricultural Biotechnology2018,7,6: | 0 |

| 20 | Sporolactobacillus GD201215-the Reason forSwelling of Fruit Jelly显示文摘A gram-positive facultatively anaerobic bacterium, named Sporolactobacillus GD201215, was isolated from swollen fruit jelly. Colonies were circular, bulgy, opaque, moist and white, with a 1-2 mm diameter. Its sequence showed 97.46% and96.91% homology with Sporolactobacillus vineae SL153 T and S. putidus QC81-06 T, respectively. Sporolactobacillus GD201215 uses glucose, fructose and sucrose to produce acid, and metabolizes sodium citrate to generate CO_2 which is responsible for swelling of fruit jelly.
