| 1 | One-step preparation of branched PEG functionalized AIE-active luminescent polymeric nanoprobes显示文摘The synthesis of amphiphilic aggregation-induced emission(AIE) dyes based organic nanoparticles has recently attracted increasing attention in the biomedical fields. These AIE dyes based nanoparticles could effectively overcome the aggregation caused quenching effect of conventional organic dyes, making them promising candidates for fabrication of ultrabright organic luminescent nanomaterials. In this work, AIE-active luminescent polymeric nanoparticles(4-NH_2-PEG-TPE-E LPNs) were facilely fabricated through Michael addition reaction between tetraphenylethene acrylate(TPE-E) and 4-arm-poly(ethylene glycol)-amine(4-NH_2-PEG) in rather mild ambient. The 4-NH_2-PEG can not only endow these AIE-active LPNs good water dispersibility, but also provide functional groups for further conjugation reaction. The size, morphology and luminescent properties of 4-NH_2-PEG-TPE-E LPNs were characterized by a series of techniques in detail. Results suggested that these AIE-active LPNs showed spherical morphology with diameter about 100–200 nm. The obtained 4-NH_2-PEG-TPE-E LPNs display high water dispersibility and strong fluorescence intensity because of their self assembly and AIE properties of TPE-E.Biological evaluation results demonstrated that 4-NH_2-PEG-TPE-E LPNs showed negative toxicity toward cancer cells and good fluorescent imaging performance. | 3 | Unravelling the critical role of surface Nafion adsorption in Ptcatalyzed oxygen reduction reaction by in situ electrical transport spectroscopy显示文摘Solid-state ionic conductor is a vital part in all electrochemical energy conversion devices. As a widely-applied protonconducting polymer and stabilizer for electrode preparation, Nafion has key applications in electrochemical devices operated under acidic conditions. Specific adsorption of Nafion on the catalyst surface is considered to result in partial loss of intrinsic activity in reactions such as oxygen reduction reaction(ORR), due to its comprehensive occupation of active sites. Many in situ characterization methods such as voltammetric fingerprinting and spectroscopic approaches have been used to explore the dynamic adsorption of Nafion on the electrode surface. However, most of current efforts have been focused on the behaviors of Nafion itself, with little attention paid to its effects on the adsorption of surface intermediates. Here, we employed the in situ electrical transport spectroscopy(ETS) to investigate Nafion adsorption on Pt catalysts and its effects on the ORR intermediates.Our findings suggest that specific adsorption of Nafion results in the increased coverage of oxygen intermediates with weaker adsorption strength, which in turn plays a critical role in the reaction selectivity. | 8 | Co_(3)S_(4)-pyrolysis lotus fiber flexible textile as a hybrid electrocatalyst for overall water splitting显示文摘Electrocatalytic overall water splitting(OWS),a pivotal approach in addressing the global energy crisis,aims to produce hydrogen and oxygen.However,most of the catalysts in powder form are adhesively bounding to the electrodes,resulting in catalyst detachment by bubble generation and other uncertain interference,and eventually reducing the OWS performance.To surmount this challenge,we synthesized a hybrid material of Co_(3)S_(4)-pyrolysis lotus fiber(labeled as Co_(3)S_(4)-p LF)textile by hydrothermal and hightemperature pyrolysis processes for electrocatalytic OWS.Owing to the natural LF textile exposing the uniformly distributed functional groups(AOH,ANH_(2),etc.)to anchor Co_(3)S_(4)nanoparticles with hierarchical porous structure and outstanding hydrophily,the hybrid Co_(3)S_(4)-p LF catalyst shows low overpotentials at 10 m A cm^(-2)(η_(10,HER)=100 m Vη_(10,OER)=240 mV)alongside prolonged operational stability during electrocatalytic reactions.Theoretical calculations reveal that the electron transfer from p LF to Co_(3)S_(4)in the hybrid Co_(3)S_(4)-p LF is beneficial to the electrocatalytic process.This work will shed light on the development of nature-inspired carbon-based materials in hybrid electrocatalysts for OWS. | Qiulan Zhou Zhen Liu Xuxu Wang Yaqian Li Xin Qin Lijuan Guo Liwei Zhou Weijian Xu | 2024 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,89,2: | 0 |
| 9 | Effect of spatial spectrum overlap on Fourier ptychographic microscopy显示文摘Fourier ptychographic microscopy(FPM)is a newly developed imaging technique which stands out by virtue of its high-resolution and wide FOV.It improves a microscope's imaging perfor-mance beyond the diffraction limit of the employed optical components by illuminating the sample with oblique waves of different incident angles,similar to the concept of synthetic aperture.We propose to use an objective lens with high-NA to generate oblique illuminating waves in FPM.We demonstrate utilizing an objective lens with higher NA to iluminate the sample leads to better resolution by simulations,in which a resolution of 0.28 pum is achieved by using a high-NA illuminating objective lens(NA=1.49)and a low-NA collecting objective lens(NA=0.2)in coherent imaging(λ=488 nm).We then deeply study FPM's exact relevance of convergence speed to spatial spectrum overlap in frequency domain.The simulation results show that an overlap of about 60%is the optimal choice to acquire a high-quality recovery(520*520 pixels)with about 2 min's computing time.In addition,we testify the robustness of the algorithm of FPM to additive noises and its suitability for phase objects,which further proves FPM's potential application in biomedical imaging. | Qiulan Liu Cuifang Kuang Yue Fang Peng Xiu Yicheng Li Ruixin Wen Xu Linu | 2017 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2017,,2: | 0 |
