1Hydrogen Peroxide in Plants:a Versatile Molecule of the Reactive Oxygen Species Network显示文摘Plants often face the challenge of severe environmental conditions,which include various biotic and abiotic stresses that exert adverse effects on plant growth and development. During evolution,plants have evolved complex regulatory mechanisms to adapt to various environmental stressors. One of the consequences of stress is an increase in the cellular concentration of reactive oxygen species(ROS),which are subsequently converted to hydrogen peroxide(H2O2). Even under normal conditions,higher plants produce ROS during metabolic processes. Excess concentrations of ROS result in oxidative damage to or the apoptotic death of cells. Development of an antioxidant defense system in plants protects them against oxidative stress damage. These ROS and,more particularly,H2O2,play versatile roles in normal plant physiological processes and in resistance to stresses. Recently,H2O2 has been regarded as a signaling molecule and regulator of the expression of some genes in cells. 6An aerospace bracket designed by thermo-elastic topology optimization and manufactured by additive manufacturing显示文摘Combination of topology optimization and additive manufacturing technologies provides an effective approach for the development of light-weight and high-performance structures.A heavy-loaded aerospace bracket is designed by topology optimization and manufactured by additive manufacturing technology in this work.Considering both mechanical forces and temperature loads,a formulation of thermo-elastic topology optimization is firstly proposed and the sensitivity analysis is derived in detail.Then the procedure of numerical optimization design is presented and the final design is additively manufactured using Selective Laser Melting(SLM).The mass of the aerospace bracket is reduced by over 18%,benefiting from topology and size optimization,and the three constraints are satisfied as well in the final design.This work indicates that the integration of thermo-elastic topology optimization and additive manufacturing technologies can be a rather powerful tool kit for the design of structures under thermal-mechanical loading.Guanghui SHI Chengqi GUAN Dongliang QUAN Dongtao WU Lei TANG Tong GAO 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,4:21
7Experimental study on scale inhibition performance of a green scale inhibitor polyaspartic acid显示文摘Static and dynamic experiments were carried out to validate scale inhibition performance of a green scale inhibitor-polyaspartic acid (PASP). From the static experiment, it was shown that below 60℃, polyaspartic acid is very effective in scale inhibition, with the scale inhibition ratio exceeding 90% with only 3 mg/L PASP for the 600 mg/L hardness solution. For a higher hardness solution of 800 mg/L, the scale inhibition ratio can also reach 90% with 6 and 12 mg/L PASP at 30 and 60℃respectively. The SEM photographs of CaCO3 crystals indicate that the crystal structure transforms from a compact stick-shape to a loose shape so that the scale can be washed away easily instead of being deposited on the heat transfer surface. 114 K high frequency pulse tube cryocooler used for terahertz space application显示文摘Terahertz(THz) frequency region, defined from0.1 to 10 THz, is an important frequency band for radio astronomy and atmospheric science. As NbN Superconductor-Insulator-Superconductor(SIS) mixers used for terahertz detection, which are studied by the Purple Mountain Observatory(PMO), Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS), work at 8–10 K, and require condition of micro vibrations, its astronomical observation in aerospace is limited by suitable refrigeration method. 4 K high frequency pulse tube cryocooler developed by Key Laboratory of Space Energy Conversion Technologies(SECT), Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry(TIPC), CAS, offers an opportunity for the application of SIS mixers. This article introduces the progress of the two-stage high frequency pulse tube cryocooler researched by TIPC. The cryocooler has reached a no load temperature of 4.5 K which is the lowest temperature for this kind of cryocooler reported so far. 12Effect of High Suspension and Low Incision Surgery Based on Traditional Ligation of Chinese Medicine in Treatment of Mixed Haemorrhoids:A Multi-centre,Randomized,Single-Blind,Non-inferiority Clinical Trial显示文摘Objective:To observe the clinical effect of high suspension and low incision(HSLI)surgery on mixed haemorrhoids,compared with Milligan-Morgan haemorrhoidectomy.Methods:A multi-centre,randomized,singleblind,non-inferiority clinical trial was performed.Participants with mixed haemorrhoids from Xiyuan Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences,Beijing Rectum Hospital,Air Force Medical Center of People's Liberation Army of China,and Puyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were enrolled from September 2016 to March 2018.By using a blocked randomization scheme,participants were assigned to two groups.The experimental group was treated with HSLI,while the control group was treated with Milligan-Morgan haemorrhoidectomy.The primary outcome was the clinical effect evaluated at 12 weeks after operation.The secondary outcomes included the number of haemorrhoids treated during the operation,pain scores,use of analgesics,postoperative oedema,wound healing,incidence of anal stenosis,anorectal manometry after operation,as well as surgical duration,length of stay and total hospitalization expenses.A safety evaluation was also conducted.Results:In total,246 eligible participants were enrolled,with 123 cases in each group.There was no significant difference in the clinical effect between the two groups(100.00% vs.99.19%,P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the number of external haemorrhoids treated during the operation and the pain scores after operation were significantly reduced in the experimental group(P<0.05 or P<0.01);the patient number with wound healing at 2 weeks after operation and the functional length of anal canal at 12 weeks after operation were significantly increased in the experimental group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of anal stenosis,the numbers of patients using analgesics and patients with postoperative oedema between the two groups after operation(P>0.05).The surgical duration and length of stay in the experimental group were significantly longer than those in the control group,and the total hospitalization expense was significantly higher than that in the control group(all P<0.05).No adverse events were reported in either group during the whole trial or follow-up period.Conclusion:HSLI had the advantages of preserving the skin of anal canal completely,alleviating postsurgical pain and promoting rapid recovery after operation.(Registration No.Chi CTR1900022883).JIA Xiao-qiang CAO Wei-wei QUAN Long-fang ZHAO Wei-bing CHENG Fang JIA Shan FENG Liu-quan WEI Xu-feng XIE Zhen-nian WANG Dong XU Chun-yan CUI Chun-hui CAI Xing-juan HE Lan-ye WANG Zhan-jun TIAN Ying SHI Shu-min SUN Si-miao SU Liang ZHAI Meng-fan 2021Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2021,27,9:11
13Total mesopancreas excision for pancreatic head cancer: analysis of 120 cases显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the feasibility and safety of total mesopancreas excision(TMpE) in the treatment of pancreatic head cancer. Methods: The clinical and pathological data of 120 patients with pancreatic head cancer who had undergone TMpE in our center from May 2010 to January 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The mean operative time was(275.0±50.2) min and the average intra-operative blood loss was(390.0±160.5) mL. Post-operative complications were reported in 45 patients, while no peri-operative death was noted. The specimen margins were measured in three dimensions, and 86 patients(71.6%) achieved R0 resection. 15Development of a Drilling and Coring Test-bed for Lunar Subsurface Exploration and Preliminary Experiments显示文摘Drill sampling has been widely employed as an effective way to acquire deep samples in extraterrestrial exploration. A novel sampling method, namely, flexible-tube coring, was adopted for the Chang'e mission to acquire drilling cores without damaging stratification information. Since the extraterrestrial environment is uncertain and different from the terrestrial environment, automated drill sampling missions are at risk of failure. The principles of drilling and coring for the lunar subsurface should be fully tested and verified on earth before launch. This paper proposes a test-bed for conducting the aforementioned experiments on earth. The test-bed comprises a rotary-percussive drilling mechanism, penetrating mechanism, drilling medium container, and signal acquisition and control system. For granular soil, coring experiments indicate that the sampling method has a high coring rate greater than 80%. For hard rock, drilling experiments indicate that the percussive frequency greatly affects the drilling efficiency. A multi-layered simulant composed of granular soil and hard rock is built to test the adaptability of drilling and coring. To tackle complex drilling media, an intelligent drilling strategy based on online recognition is proposed to improve the adaptability of the sampling drill. 16A Surface-Simplex Swarm Evolution Algorithm显示文摘In the paper,a particle surface-simplex search(PSSS) is designed based on particle surface-simplex and particle surface-simplex neighborhood.Using PSSS and an evolutionary strategy of multi-states swarm,a surface-simplex swarm evolution(SSSE) algorithm for numerical optimization is proposed.In the experiments,SSSE is applied to solve 17 benchmark problems and compared with the other intelligent optimization algorithms.In the application,SSSE is used to analyze the three intrinsic independent components of gravity earth tide.The results demonstrate that SSSE can accurately find optima or close-to-optimal solutions of the complex functions with high-dimension.The performance of SSSE is stable and efficient.QUAN Haiyan SHI Xinling 2017Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2017,22,1:10
17Origin of the unusually high dibenzothiophene concentrations in Lower Ordovician oils from the Tazhong Uplift,Tarim Basin,China显示文摘The origin of the unusually high dibenzothiophene (DBT) concentrations in Lower Ordovician oils from the Tazhong Uplift,Tarim Basin was studied by Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FT-ICR MS).The most abundant sulfur compounds in the oils are S 1 species with doublebond equivalent (DBE) values of 1-19 and 11-48 carbon atoms.The range of the number of carbon atoms in the sulfur compounds detected by the FT-ICR MS (S 1 species with DBE=9) is about ten times larger than that for sulfur compounds detected by GC/MS (DBTs).This suggests that FT-ICR MS is a much better approach than GC/MS for characterization of DBTs in crude oils.The abundance of S 1 species with DBE=1-8 decreased with increasing thermal maturity,while the abundance of S 1 species with DBE=9 (primarily DBTs) increased.Therefore,thermal maturity is an important factor in the formation of oils with high DBT concentrations.Unusually high abundances of S 1 species with low DBE values (1-8),which include sulfide,thiophene and benzothiophene,were observed in several oils,especially the TZ83 (O 1) oil with high or very high thermal maturity.Thermochemical sulfate reduction (TSR) was thought to be the reason for the high abundance of these low DBE compounds in deep reservoirs,and thermochemical sulfate reduction could affect the distribution and composition of DBTs in the oils.According to the results of FT-ICR MS analysis,there are no signs that TSR is occurring or has occurred recently for most of the Lower Ordovician oils.Li Sumei Pang Xiongqi Shi Quan Zhang Baoshou Zhang Haizu Pan Na Zhao Ming 2011Petroleum Science2011,8,4:9

20Spatial and temporal distributions of nitrogen,phosphorus and heavy metals in the intertidal sediment of the Chang jiang River Estuary in China显示文摘Spatial and temporal distributions of nutrients(N and P) and heavy metals(Cu,Zn,Pb and Cd) in the intertidal sediments at Dongtan wetland of the Changjiang River(Yangtze River) Estuary were examined by laying one transect running seaward to landward during January,April,June,August and October of 2005. Total nitrogen(TN) and heavy metal concentrations in the intertidal sediment showed an increasing trend from open bare flat to the high marsh,with the maximum concentrations in the high marsh and the minimum values in open bare flat. In contrast,sediment total phosphorus(TP) concentrations changed little among sampling sites. One-way ANOVA found that there were significantly temporal variations of nutrients and heavy metals concentrations in the intertidal sediment(P <0.05) . The concentrations of heavy metals generally showed an increasing trend from January to October.
