Simplified unscented particle filter for nonlinear/non-Gaussian Bayesian estimation显示文摘Particle filters have been widely used in nonlinear/nonGaussian Bayesian state estimation problems. However, efficient distribution of the limited number of particles in state space remains a critical issue in designing a particle filter.A simplified unscented particle filter(SUPF) is presented, where particles are drawn partly from the transition prior density(TPD) and partly from the Gaussian approximate posterior density(GAPD) obtained by a unscented Kalman filter. The ratio of the number of particles drawn from TPD to the number of particles drawn from GAPD is adaptively determined by the maximum likelihood ratio(MLR).The MLR is defined to measure how well the particles, drawn from the TPD,match the likelihood model. It is shown that the particle set generated by this sampling strategy is more close to the significant region in state space and tends to yield more accurate results.Simulation results demonstrate that the versatility and estimation accuracy of SUPF exceed that of standard particle filter, extended Kalman particle filter and unscented particle filter.Junyi Zuo Yingna Jia Quanxue Gao 2013Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2013,24,3:6
A comparison of next-generation sequencing analysis methods for cancer xenograft samples显示文摘The application of next-generation sequencing(NGS) technology in cancer is influenced by the quality and purity of tissue samples. This issue is especially critical for patient-derived xenograft(PDX) models, which have proven to be by far the best preclinical tool for investigating human tumor biology, because the sensitivity and specificity of NGS analysis in xenograft samples would be compromised by the contamination of mouse DNA and RNA. This definitely affects downstream analyses by causing inaccurate mutation calling and gene expression estimates. The reliability of NGS data analysis for cancer xenograft samples is therefore highly dependent on whether the sequencing reads derived from the xenograft could be distinguished from those originated from the host. That is, each sequence read needs to be accurately assigned to its original species. Here, we review currently available methodologies in this field, including Xenome, Disambiguate, bamcmp and pdx Blacklist, and provide guidelines for users.Wentao Dai Jixiang Liu Quanxue Li Wei Liu Yi-Xue Li Yuan-Yuan Li 2018Journal of Genetics and Genomics2018,45,7:2

Secrecy Transmission of NOMA-OTFS Based Multicast-Unicast Streaming显示文摘This paper investigates the security performance of a cooperative multicast-unicast system, where the users present the feature of high mobility.Specifically,we develop the non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)based orthogonal time frequency space(OTFS)transmission scheme, namely NOMAOTFS,in order to combat Doppler effect as well as to improve the spectral efficiency.Further,we propose a power allocation method addressing the trade-off between the reliability of multicast streaming and the confidentiality of unicast streaming.Based on that,we utilize the relay selection strategy,to improve the security of unicast streaming. In the context of multicastunicast streaming, our simulation findings validate the effectiveness of the NOMA-OTFS based cooperative transmission, which can significantly outperform the existing NOMA-OFDM in terms of both reliability and security.Junfan Hu Jia Shi Xianyu Wang Xiaoju Lu Zan Li Zhuangzhuang Tie Quanxue Gao 2023China Communications2023,20,1:1

Neutrophil membrane-camouflaged nanoparticles alleviate inflammation and promote angiogenesis in ischemic myocardial injury显示文摘Acute myocardial infarction(AMI)induces a sterile inflammatory response, leading to cardiomyocyte damage and adverse cardiac remodeling.Interleukin-5(IL-5)plays an essential role in developing eosinophils(EOS),which are beneficial for the resolution of inflammation.Furthermore, the proangiogenic properties of IL-5 also contribute to tissue healing following injury. Therefore, targeted delivery of IL-5 is an innovative therapeutic approach for treating AMI.It has been shown that conventional IL-5 delivery can result in undesirable adverse effects and potential drug overdose. In this study,we successfully synthesized a biomimetic IL-5 nanoparticle by camouflaging the IL-5 nanoparticle in a neutrophilic membrane. The administration of neutrophil membrane-camouflaged nanoparticles(NM-NPIL-5)in the in vivo model showed that these nanoparticles promoted EOS accumulation and angiogenesis in the infarcted myocardium, thereby limiting adverse cardiac remodeling after AMI.Our results also demonstrated that the NM-NPIL-5 could serve as neutrophil“decoys”to adsorb and neutralize the elevated neutrophil-related cytokines in the injured heart by inheriting multiple receptors from their“parent”neutrophils. Finally, the targeted delivery of NM-NPIL-5 protected the cardiomyocytes from excessive inflammatory-induced apoptosis and maintained cardiac function. Our findings provided a promising cardiac detoxification agent for acute cardiac injury.Dongjian Han Fuhang Wang Zhentao Qiao Bo Wang Yi Zhang Qingjiao Jiang Miaomiao Liu Yuansong Zhuang Quanxu An Yan Bai Jiahong Shangguan Jinying Zhang Gaofeng Liang Deliang Shen 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,5:0
Development of a Detection Method for Assaying Calf Intestine Alkaline Phosphatase Activity显示文摘[Objective]This study was to develop a detection method for assaying calf intestine alkaline phosphatase activity in scientific research. [Method]By simulating the conditions and buffers for assaying calf intestine alkaline phosphatase used in the scientific research, the parameters influencing substrate concentration, reaction duration, coloration time and buffer p H were optimized. [Result]The activity of alkaline phosphatase detected varied hugely among different buffers, and potassium ferricyanide solution added with boracic acid achieved the stable coloration. The optimal water bath time was determined as 10 min,and the substrate concentration was optimized as 0. 04 mol / L. The increasing temperature did not have a large influence on low temperature enzymatic activity while did on high concentration enzymatic activity. When the buffer p H was 7. 0- 8. 0,the detection stability of alkaline phosphatase could be maintained well. The ion intensity of buffer had little effects on alkaline phosphatase activity. [Conclusion]A detection method for assaying calf intestine alkaline phosphatase activity in scientific research was successfully developed in this study.Lin Lin Lai Xiaofang Li Yi Liu Yixiong Lan Quanxue Lai Xintian Yang Guowu 2015Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2015,7,3:0
TGPred:a tumor gene prediction webserver for analyzing structural and functional impacts of variants显示文摘With the increasing use of high-throughput sequencing technology in tumor research,a large number of somatic variations are being identified and some of them have proved to be responsible for tumorigenesis(Cancer Genome Atlas Research Network et al.,2013).Investigating structural and functional impacts of tumor somatic variants would greatly help to identify causal variations, understand the mechanisms of carcinogenesis, and develop novel anti-tumor therapies. Therefore, many efforts have recently been made to map genomic variations to 3D protein structure, such as G23D(Solomon et al.,2016)and G2S(Wang et al.,2018).Jixiang Liu Wei Liu Xue-Ling Li Quanxue Li Wentao Dai Yuan-Yuan Li 2020Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2020,12,7:0
Sporolactobacillus GD201215-the Reason forSwelling of Fruit Jelly显示文摘A gram-positive facultatively anaerobic bacterium, named Sporolactobacillus GD201215, was isolated from swollen fruit jelly. Colonies were circular, bulgy, opaque, moist and white, with a 1-2 mm diameter. Its sequence showed 97.46% and96.91% homology with Sporolactobacillus vineae SL153 T and S. putidus QC81-06 T, respectively. Sporolactobacillus GD201215 uses glucose, fructose and sucrose to produce acid, and metabolizes sodium citrate to generate CO_2 which is responsible for swelling of fruit jelly. It grew anaerobically in GYP broth at 37 ℃, p H 3.5-7.0, with 0-2%(w/v) Na Cl, and could be killed by heating at 71 ℃ for above 5 min.Congcong LIU Quanxue LAN Guowu YANG Qiongying YAN Xiuling YE Jianfei HUANG Lin LIN Jing CHEN 2016Agricultural Science & Technology2016,17,12:0
Gene dysregulation analysis builds a mechanistic signature for prognosis and therapeutic benefit in colorectal cancer显示文摘The implementation of cancer precision medicine requires biomarkers or signatures for predicting prognosis and therapeutic benefits. Most of current efforts in this field are paying much more attention to predictive accuracy than to molecular mechanistic interpretability.Mechanism-driven strategy has recently emerged, aiming to build signatures with both predictive power and explanatory power.Driven by this strategy,we developed a robust gene dysregulation analysis framework with machine learning algorithms, which is capable of exploring gene dysregulations underlying carcinogenesis from high-dimensional data with cooperativity and synergy between regulators and several other transcriptional regulation rules taken into consideration. We then applied the framework to a colorectal cancer(CRC)cohort from The Cancer Genome Atlas. The identified CRC-related dysregulations significantly covered known carcinogenic processes and exhibited good prognostic effect.By choosing dysregulations with greedy strategy,we built a four-dysregulation(4-DysReg)signature,which has the capability of predicting prognosis and adjuvant chemotherapy benefit.4-DysReg has the potential to explain carcinogenesis in terms of dysfunctional transcriptional regulation. These results demonstrate that our gene dysregulation analysis framework could be used to develop predictive signature with mechanistic interpretability for cancer precision medicine, and furthermore, elucidate the mechanisms of carcinogenesis.Quanxue Li Wentao Dai jixiang Liu Qingqing Sang Yi-Xue Li Yuan-Yuan Li 2020Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2020,12,11:0
