| 2 | Three-dimensional analysis of the modified sloping cooling/shearing process显示文摘A self-designed setup of modified sloping cooling/shearing process was made to prepare the semisolid Al-3wt%Mg alloy. A three-dimensional simulation model was established for the analysis of preparing the semisolid Al-3wt%Mg alloy. Through simulation and experiment, it is shown that the sloping angle of the plate greatly affects temperature and velocity distributions, and the temperature and velocity of the alloy at the exit of the sloping plate increase with the increase of the sloping angle. The alloy temperature decreases linearly from the pouring mouth to the exit. The alloy temperature at the exit increases obviously with the increase of pouring temperature. | 3 | Evolution of secondary phase particles during deformation of Al-5Ti-1B master alloy and their effect on α-Al grain refinement显示文摘Addition of Al-5Ti-1B alloy to molten aluminum alloys can refine α-Al grains effectively and thereby improve their strength and toughness. TiAl_3 and TiB_2 in Al-5Ti-1B alloy are the main secondary-phase particles for refinement, while the understanding on the effect of their sizes on α-Al grain refinement continues to be fragmented. Therefore, Al-5Ti-1B alloys with various sizes and morphologies of the secondary-phase particles were prepared by equal channel angular pressing(ECAP). Evolution of the secondary-phase particles during ECAP process and their impact on α-Al grain refinement were studied by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope(SEM). Results show that during the ECAP process, micro-cracks firstly appeared inside TiAl_3 particles and then gradually expanded, which resulted in continuous refinement of TiAl_3 particles. In addition, micro-distribution uniformity of TiB_2 particles was improved due to the impingement of TiAl_3 particles to TiB_2 clusters during deformation. Excessively large sizes of TiAl_3 particles would reduce the number of effective heterogeneous nucleus and thus resulted in poor grain refinement effectiveness. Moreover, excessively small TiAl_3 particles would reduce inhibitory factors for grain growth Q and weaken grain refinement effectiveness. | 4 | Aging Characteristics, Stress Corrosion Behaviour and Role of Mg Segregation at Grain Boundary in 7175High-strength Al Alloy显示文摘The aging characteristics, stress corrosion behaviour and chemical composition of grain boundary in 7175 high-strength Al alloy during long term aging process have been investigated by hardness measurement, constant elongation rate testing (CERT) and energy spectroscopy analysis. The results indicate that double peaks in aged state feature the hardness and strength of 7175 Al alloy Although the intensity of double peaks is almost equal, the stress corrosion resistance in the second peak-aged state is better than that of the first peak-aged state. The effects of Mg segregation on the binding energy of grain boundary have been calculated by using free electron theory developed by the authors. | 5 | The comparison of Cu(II) adsorption capability of baker’s yeast, nano-titania and their composite adsorbent显示文摘The anatase nano-TiO2 powder, with crystal size between 40 and 80 nm, was prepared by the liquid phase hydrolysis of TiCl4. At the same time, the nano-TiO2 was utilized with the baker’s yeast biomass as a composite adsorbent to adsorb the Cu ions in the artificial aqueous solution. The investigation showed that the composite adsorbent had a fine adsorption efficiency. The TiO2 in the composite ad- sorbent could cooperate well with baker’s yeast to improve the adsorbing capability of Cu2+ under the following experimental conditions as well: a quantity of composite adsorbent of 5 g·L?1, pH≥4.0, an adsorption time of 40 min and an initial concentration of Cu ions of 10 mg·L?1. The calculation results show that the experimental result is approximately agreed with the calculation value. The effect of the casting temperature on the change rate of the solid fraction is not obvious. But the beginning solidification length is greatly influenced by the casting temperature. The beginning solidification length increases with the increment of the casting temperature. The effect of the sloping angle on the solid fraction becomes obvious with the increment of the sloping plate length. The solid fraction increases sharply with the decrease of the initial thickness of the melt. | 9 | Changes in circulating inflammatory cells and the relationship to secondary brain injury in patients with craniocerebral injury显示文摘BACKGROUND:Recent studies have indicated that reactive encephalitis plays an important role in secondary tissue damage after craniocerebral injury. OBJECTIVE: To observe changes in white blood cells (WBC) and polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMN) in peripheral blood, and to determine their role in secondary brain insult in patients with craniocerebral injury. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A case-control study at the Department of Neurosurgery of the Affiliated Hospital North Sichuan University of Medical Sciences between August 2007 and May 2008. PARTICIPANTS: Sixty-three patients, admitted within 24 hours after craniocerebral injury and who received no surgery, were included in the study. The cohort consisted of 41 males and 22 females, aged 9–72 years, with an average age of 42 years. Ten healthy volunteers, selected from the Department of Neurosurgery, were designated as the control group. METHODS: WBC and PMN from the peripheral blood were measured 0, 24, 48, 72, and 168 hours after admission to hospital. The Glasgow coma scale, area of cerebral hemorrhage, and degree of brain edema were simultaneously determined. The Glasgow outcome scale was evaluated six months after injury. The relationship between changes in WBC and PMN were analyzed. Sixty-three patients were divided into 0, 24, 48, 72, and 168 hours groups, with admission time to hospital as the determining factor. As controls, WBC and PMN of peripheral blood were also detected in 10 healthy volunteers. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The main outcome measures were WBC and PMN counts in the peripheral blood at 0, 24, 48, 72, and 168 hours after admission to hospital, the mutual relationship between GCS, WBC and PMN, and changes in brain hemorrhage volume and edema size. RESULTS: WBC peaked at 24 hours after injury, and PMN peaked at 48 hours after injury (P < 0.01). These measures negatively correlated to the Glasgow coma scale (r = -0.657, -0.541, respectively, P < 0.05). In patients with Glasgow coma sale < 8, WBC and PMN were significantly higher than in the patients with GCS ≥ 8 (P < 0.05). Cerebral hemorrhage reached a peak at 24 hours after injury, and the degree of brain edema was maximal at 168 hours after injury. WBC and PMN counts were positively correlated to cerebral hemorrhage volume and brain edema size (P < 0.05). | 13 | Fabricating UCNPs-AuNPs Fluorescent Probe for Sensitive Sensing Thiamphenicol显示文摘A novel fluorescent probe has been constructed based on fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET)between upconversion nanomaterials(UCNPs)NaYF4:Yb,Er and gold nanoparticles(AuNPs).The fluorescent“off-on”switching was formed for the detection of thiamphenicol(TAP)in egg samples.The fluorescence of UCNPs can be quenched to a certain degree by AuNPs.After adding TAP,the AuNPs generated aggregation and the fluorescence of UCNPs was recovered.The synthesized amination UCNPs and AuNPs were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),UV-Vis,X-ray diffraction(XRD),energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS),and transmission electron microscope(TEM)techniques for observation and confirmation.As a model target,the detection of TAP has two linear ranges in the buffer solution within 0.01–0.1µmol/L and 0.1–1µmol/L using this fluorescent probe.The detection limit was obtained to be 0.003µmol/L(S/N=3),which is favorable for trace analysis.The recovery of TAP from 98.2%to 105.3%was obtained,and the relative standard deviation(RSD)was from 2.5%to 4.3%.Furthermore,the method established in this study based on the UCNPs auto-low background fluorescence has high selectivity and strong ability to eliminate interference,which is beneficial to analyzing complex samples. | YI Jiaqi LI Xiaoshuang CUI Di HAN Lixia JIANG Wei ZHANG Renguo NIU Na CHEN Ligang | 2022 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2022,38,6: | 0 |

| 15 | HPLC Fingerprint Combined with Chemometrics and Network Pharmacology for Q-Markers Prediction Analysis of Saposhnikovia divaricata显示文摘Saposhnikovia divaricata(SD)has high medicinal and edible value,but relatively little research has been done on its qual-ity markers(Q-markers).To further clarify the Q-markers of SD with their corresponding pharmacodynamic targets.In this experiment,14 batches of SD were identified and screened for Q-marker candidate components using a combination of HPLC fingerprint with similarity analysis,principal component analysis,hierarchical cluster analysis,and partial least squares discriminant analysis.Then,network pharmacology was used to predict Q-markers and core targets.The results showed that 5-O-methylvisammioside,cimifugin,and prim-O-glucosylcimifugin could be used as Q-markers of SD;while,MAPK1,MAPK3,PIK3CA,JUN,and MAPK8 were the core targets of SD for drug efficacy.To further evaluate the bind-ing efficiency of Q-markers,molecular docking of the main active ingredients of SD to the core targets was performed.The results showed that the compounds bind well to their targets,and binding energies were all less than-5 kcal/mol.The Q-markers obtained from the screening were closely related to the core target genes,which could achieve therapeutic effects by modulating the relevant signaling pathways.This study offers a reference for the establishment of a set of quality control evaluation system for SD potential Q-markers prediction analysis,and lays the foundation for elucidating the mechanism of actionunderlying itspharmacodynamic substance. | Renguo Zhang Xinjian Liu Tong Wang Jie Yu Mengyuan Wang Jianmin Sun Xueling Yu Na Niu Ligang Chen | 2024 | Journal of Analysis and Testing2024,8,1: | 0 |
