1Radiation reaction induced spiral attractors in ultra-intense colliding laser beams显示文摘The radiation reaction effects on electron dynamics in counter-propagating circularly polarized laser beams are investigated through the linearization theorem and the results are in great agreement with numeric solutions.For the first time,the properties of fixed points in electron phase-space were analyzed with linear stability theory,showing that center nodes will become attractors if the classical radiation reaction is considered.Electron dynamics are significantly affected by the properties of the fixed points and the electron phase-space densities are found to be increasing exponentially near the attractors.The density growth rates are derived theoretically and further verified by particle-in-cell sim-ulations,which can be detected in experiments to explore the effects of radiation reaction qualitatively.The attractor can also facilitate realizing a series of nanometer-scaled flying electron slices via adjusting the colliding laser frequencies.Zheng Gong Ronghao Hu Yinren Shou Bin Qiao Chiaer Chen Furong Xu Xiantu He Xueqing Yan 2016Matter and Radiation at Extremes2016,1,6:2

4A strategy for improving sinterability and electrical properties of gadolinium-doped ceria electrolyte using calcium oxide additive显示文摘In this study,Gd and Ca co-doped ceria electrolytes with the compositions of Ce_(0.8)Gd_(0.2-x)Ca_(x)O_(2-δ)(x=0-0.08) were prepared by a novel gel-casting method.The effects of the addition of Ca on the phase compositions,sintering behavio r,and electrical prope rties of samples were investigated.According to the scanning electron microscope results and relative density measurement results,it is found that the addition of particular quantity of CaO can promote the sintering densification with a uniform grain growth.When the sintering temperature is 1400℃,the sample with 6 mol% addition of Ca has the highest relative density,which reaches 98.5% of the theoretical density.The electrical properties testing results confirm that the electrical conductivity of the samples can be improved significantly by doping appropriate CaO content.The maximum conductivity of 0.082 S/cm can be obtained at 800℃ in the Ce_(0.8)Gd_(0.12)-Ca_(0.06)O_(1.87) sample.It suggests that CaO can be used as an effective sintering aid and a codopant on the optimization of electrical properties for ceria-based electrolytes.Jihai Cheng Ronghao Xu Yinchao Shi 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,6:1

10Immunosuppressive therapy selectively modulates B-cell responses in patients with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases receiving the inactivated COVID-19 vaccine显示文摘Background:Immunosuppressive medication reduces the immunogenicity of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)vaccines in patients with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases(RMDs).However,the underlying mechanism remains unclear.The primary aim of our study was to dissect the impact of immunosuppressive medication on cellular and humoral immune responses in RMD patients receiving the inactivated COVID-19 vaccine.Methods:A total of 28 RMD patients and five healthy controls(HCs)receiving two doses of the inactivated COVID-19 vaccine(Sinovac-CoronaVac)were prospectively enrolled.Blood samples were collected before the primary vaccination(Week 0)and one week after the second vaccination(Week 5).Neutralizing antibody(nAb)titers and autoantibody titers were measured by a pseudovirus-based neutralization assay and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,respectively.CD4^(+)T-cell and CD19^(+)B-cell subsets and serum cytokines were analyzed by flow cytometry.Results:The inactivated COVID-19 vaccine was immunogenic in RMD patients and HCs after the second vaccination,but the nAb titers were lower in RMD patients than those in HCs.Only patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)had notably increased nAb titers.Remarkably,IgG^(+)CD27^(+),IgG^(+)IgG1^(+),and IgG^(+)IgG1^(−)B cells were reduced,whereas IgG−IgG1^(+)B cells,and total IgA and IgG titers were markedly increased.However,Tfh cell and Tfr cell subsets and cytokines produced by Tfh cells were not increased.The flare rate was low in RMD patients with comparable autoantibody titers,unchanged CD4^(+)T cell subsets and serum proinflammatory cytokines(interleukin[IL]-6,IL-17,interferon-γ,and tumor necrosis factor-α)after the second vaccination.Conclusions:Immunosuppressive therapy decreased the immunogenicity of the vaccine and maintained a low flare rate by selectively modulating B cell but not CD4^(+)T cell responses in RMD patients receiving the inactivated COVID-19 vaccine.Optimization of the treatment regimen might ensure a durable and robust COVID-19 vaccination response.Rui Li Ruru Guo Jia Li Bing Zheng Ronghao Xu Xiaoyue Jiang Yingying Chen Guo Tang Qianqian Li Yixuan Li Jiaqi Feng Xiaoxiang Chen Ying Wang Shuang Ye Fang Du Liangjing Lu Jun Deng 2023Rheumatology & Autoimmunity2023,3,2:0
11Targeting cAMP in D1-MSNs in the nucleus accumbens, a new rapid antidepressant strategy显示文摘Studies have suggested that the nucleus accumbens(NAc)is implicated in the pathophysiology of major depression;however,the regulatory strategy that targets the NAc to achieve an exclusive and outstanding anti-depression benefit has not been elucidated.Here,we identified a specific reduction of cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP)in the subset of dopamine D1 receptor medium spiny neurons(D1-MSNs)in the NAc that promoted stress susceptibility,while the stimulation of cAMP production in NAc D1-MSNs efficiently rescued depression-like behaviors.Ketamine treatment enhanced cAMP both in D1-MSNs and dopamine D2 receptor medium spiny neurons(D2-MSNs)of depressed mice,however,the rapid antidepressant effect of ketamine solely depended on elevating cAMP in NAc D1-MSNs.We discovered that a higher dose of crocin markedly increased cAMP in the NAc and consistently relieved depression 24 h after oral administration,but not a lower dose.The fast onset property of crocin was verified through multicenter studies.Moreover,crocin specifically targeted at D1-MSN cAMP signaling in the NAc to relieve depression and had no effect on D2-MSN.These findings characterize a new strategy to achieve an exclusive and outstanding anti-depression benefit by elevating cAMP in D1-MSNs in the NAc,and provide a potential rapid antidepressant drug candidate,crocin.Yue Zhang Jingwen Gao Na Li Peng Xu Shimeng Qu Jinqian Cheng Mingrui Wang Xueru Li Yaheng Song Fan Xiao Xinyu Yang Jihong Liu Hao Hong Ronghao Mu Xiaotian Li Youmei Wang Hui Xu Yuan Xie Tianming Gao Guangji Wang Jiye Aa 2024Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,2:0
