Luminous composite ultrathin films of CdTe quantum dots/silk fibroin co-assembled with layered doubled hydroxide:Enhanced photoluminescence and biosensor application显示文摘Quantum dots(QDs)luminescent films are extensively applied to optoelectronics and optical devices. However,QDs aggregation results in the quenching of their fluorescence property which limits their practical applications to a greater extent. In order to resolve this issue,3-mercaptopropionic acid(3-MPA)functionalized Cadmium Tellurium(CdTe)QDs were stabilized by silk fibroin(SB)and coassembled with layered doubled hydroxide(LDH)to form(QDs@SF/LDH)_(n)ultrathin films(UTFs)via the layer-by-layer(LBL)technique.UV-Vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy showed a stepwise and normal growth of the films upon increasing the number of deposition cycles.XRD and AFM studies confirmed the formation of a periodic layered structure and regular surface morphology of the thin films. As compared to(CdTe QDs/LDH)_(n)UTFs,the(CdTe QDs@SF/LDH)_(n)UTFs displayed fluorescence enhancement and longer fluorescent lifetime, both in solid states and aqueous solutions.Furthermore compared with the solution state, the fluorescence enhancement of SF-RC and SF-β are,respectively,7 times and 17 times in the(CdTe QDs@SF/LDH)_(n)UTFs,indicating that the LDH nanosheets favor the fluorescence enhancement effect on the CdTe QDs@SF.The fabricated materials displayed fluorescence response to a biological molecule such as immune globulin,lgG.Thus, the(CdTe QDs@SF/LDH)_(n)UTFs has a potential to be used as biosensor. | Muhammad Sohail Haroone Ling Li Aftab Ahmad Yaping Huang Ruili Ma Ping Zhang Yuehua Hu Qari Muhammad Kaleem Jun Lu | 2018 | Journal of Materiomics2018,4,2: | 3
Synthesis, characterization and cell imaging properties of rare earth compounds based on hydroxamate ligand显示文摘Six binuclear rare earth compounds were synthesized through the ligand of 4-Bromo-N-hydroxy-Nmethyl-benzamide(sH_2 bha). Compounds 1-3 are isomorphous, and compound 1 is crystallized in the monoclinic system with the P2_1/c space group. Compounds 4 and 5 are isomorphous, and compound 4 is crystallized in the triclinic system with the P-1 space group. Compound 6 is crystallized in the triclinic system with the P-1 space group. The compounds were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) and IR spectroscopy. The fluorescence spectrum in the visible area shows characteristic peaks of Eu, Tb, and Dy compounds. The efficiency of Eu compound on the viability of PC3 cells was assessed using CCK8 assays. From the CCK8 results, ionic concentration may have a great effect on PC3 cells' proliferation. Eu compound shows red fluorescence in the cytoplasm of PC3 cell. As for Eu compound, it might have potential application in cell imaging technology. | Linyan Yang Yanping Zhang Liwei Hu Yunhe Zong Ruili Zhao Tianming Jin Wen Gu | 2018 | Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,4: | 3
Plant multiscale networks:charting plant connectivity by multi-level analysis and imaging techniques显示文摘In multicellular and even single-celled organisms, individual components are interconnected at multiscale levels to produce enormously complex biological networks that help these systems maintain homeostasis for development and environmental adaptation.Systems biology studies initially adopted network analysis to explore how relationships between individual components give rise to complex biological processes.Network analysis has been applied to dissect the complex connectivity of mammalian brains across different scales in time and space in The Human Brain Project. In plant science, network analysis has similarly been applied to study the connectivity of plant components at the molecular, subcellular, cellular, organic, and organism levels.Analysis of these multiscale networks contributes to our understanding of how genotype determines phenotype. In this review,we summarized the theoretical framework of plant multiscale networks and introduced studies investigating plant networks by various experimental and computational modalities. We next discussed the currently available analytic methodologies and multi-level imaging techniques used to map multiscale networks in plants. Finally,we highlighted some of the technical challenges and key questions remaining to be addressed in this emerging field. | Xi Zhang Yi Man Xiaohong Zhuang Jinbo Shen Yi Zhang Yaning Cui Meng Yu Jingjing Xing Guangchao Wang Na Lian Zijian Hu Lingyu Ma Weiwei Shen Shunyao Yang Huimin Xu Jiahui Bian Yanping Jing Xiaojuan Li Ruili Li Tonglin Mao Yuling Jiao Sodmergen Haiyun Ren Jinxing Lin | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,9: | 3

High-throughput screening of novel TFEB agonists in protecting against acetaminopheninduced liver injury in mice显示文摘Macroautophagy(referred to as autophagy hereafter)is a major intracellular lysosomal degradation pathway that is responsible for the degradation of misfolded/damaged proteins and organelles.Previous studies showed that autophagy protects against acetaminophen(APAP)-induced injury(AILI)via selective removal of damaged mitochondria and APAP protein adducts. The lysosome is a critical organelle sitting at the end stage of autophagy for autophagic degradation via fusion with autophagosomes. In the present study,we showed that transcription factor EB(TFEB),a master transcription factor for lysosomal biogenesis, was impaired by APAP resulting in decreased lysosomal biogenesis in mouse livers.Genetic loss-of and gain-of function of hepatic TFEB exacerbated or protected against AILI,respectively.Mechanistically, overexpression of TFEB increased clearance of APAP protein adducts and mitochondria biogenesis as well as SQSTM1/p62-dependent non-canonical nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(NRF2)activation to protect against AILI.We also performed an unbiased cell-based imaging high-throughput chemical screening on TFEB and identified a group of TFEB agonists.Among these agonists, salinomycin,an anticoccidial and antibacterial agent, activated TFEB and protected against AILI in mice.In conclusion, genetic and pharmacological activating TFEB may be a promising approach for protecting against AILI. | Xiaojuan Chao Mengwei Niu Shaogui Wang Xiaowen Ma Xiao Yang Hua Sun Xujia Hu Hua Wang Li Zhang Ruili Huang Menghang Xia Andrea Ballabio Hartmut Jaeschke Hong-Min Ni Wen-Xing Ding | 2024 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,1: | 0
Characteristics of the multiple replicon plasmid IncX1-X1 in multidrug-resistant Escherichia coli from Malayan pangolin(Manis javanica)显示文摘Potential zoonotic pathogens may be transmitted from wildlife to humans through the illegal wild meat trade, which has become a pressing issue. However, research on the antimicrobial resistance genes(ARGs)of Malayan pangolin(Manis javanica)intestinal bacteria is limited.Here,multidrug-resistant Escherichia coli M172-1(ST354)isolated from Malayan pangolin feces in 2019 was found to be resistant to 13 antibiotics.BGWAS analysis revealed 4 plas-mids,namely,pM172-1.1,pM172-1.2,pM172-1.3,and pM172-1.4,in the isolate. The pM172-1.2,pM172-1.3,and pM172-1.4 plasmids carried ARGs,namely,IncHI2-HI2A,IncX1-X1,and IncX1,respectively.pM172-1.3 and pM172-1.4 contained intact IntI1 integrons(Is26/IntI1/arr2/cmlA5/blaOXA-10/ant(3′′)-IIA/dfrA14/Is26).No-tably,pM172-1.3 resulted from the fusion of 2 pM172-1.4 copies and carried many more ARGs.In addition to pM172-1.3 from the same host, other drug-resistant bacteria(E.coli M159-1(ST48),E.coli S171-1(ST206),and Klebsiella pneumoniae S174-1(ST2354))in the same Malayan pangolin fecal samples also carried 3 plasmids with 100%gene coverage of pM172-1.4 and 99.98%identity.Therefore,ARGs in IncX1 might spread in the intestinalflora of Malayan pangolin and between species via the illegal food chain, posing a potential threat to public health and safety. | Fang JI Shelan LIU Xue WANG Jianan ZHAO Jiayue ZHU Jianchun YANG Chenglin ZHANG Zhongxin JIA Ruili ZHAO Guocheng HU Jing WANG Jianhua QIN Gang LI Bin WU Chengmin WANG | 2023 | Integrative Zoology2023,18,2: | 0
Effect of periodic wide atmospheric pressure change on CO emission in closed goaf显示文摘Atmospheric pressure fuctuation is one of the most important factors afecting the climate environment and gas emission in the fre area.To obtain the infuence rule of the surface atmospheric pressure change on the gas sampling and abnormal emission in the mine closed goaf, the No.1 coal mine in Dananhu was taken as the research object.Using Fourier transform and Fisher harmonic analysis and other statistical methods, the infuence of the periodic variation of atmospheric pressure on the gas leakage and outfow in the closed goaf was studied. The results showed that there were three atmospheric pressure periods of 15.2 d,1 d and 182.2 d,and the probability was greater than 95%.The time period with the highest number of atmospheric pressure peaks was 7:00–8:00,which accounted for 20.2%of total occurrence number in a day.And the time periods with the highest number of atmospheric pressure trough were 2:00,15:00 and 16:00,accounting for 27.4%.The peak-to-trough transition time was mainly concentrated around 6 h,and the diurnal variation curve of atmospheric pressure was mainly bimodal. The atmospheric pressure change rate was mostly concentrated in 10–50 Pa/h.It was determined that the distance that the gas sampling pipe was pre-laid into the inner side of the closed wall should be greater than 44.4 m,and the CO concentration and atmospheric pressure in the closed goaf were both periodic and negative with atmospheric pressure. The research results have important guiding signifcance for the monitoring, early warning and environmental protection of the goaf. | Zhuangzhuang Shao Bo Tan Ruili Hu Xiaozhen Song Yan Guo Tianze Li Shuhui Fu Chaohuan Chen Haiyan Wang | 2023 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2023,10,4: | 0
Symmetric and symplectic methods for gyrocenter dynamics in time-independent magnetic fields显示文摘We apply a second-order symmetric Runge–Kutta method and a second-order symplectic Runge–Kutta method directly to the gyrocenter dynamics which can be expressed as a noncanonical Hamiltonian system. The numerical simulation results show the overwhelming superiorities of the two methods over a higher order nonsymmetric nonsymplectic Runge–Kutta method in long-term numerical accuracy and near energy conservation.Furthermore, they are much faster than the midpoint rule applied to the canonicalized system to reach given precision. | Beibei Zhu Zhenxuan Hu Yifa Tang Ruili Zhang | 2016 | International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing2016,7,2: | 0
