Anatomical variation of infra-pyloric artery origination: A prospective multicenter observational study (IPA-Origin)显示文摘Objective: Infra-pyloric artery(IPA) is an important anatomical landmark in treatment of gastric cancer and is the key vessel for pylorus-preserving gastrectomy and subgroup of infra-pyloric lymph nodes. However, its anatomical variation is not thoroughly understood. Our study aimed to clarify the origination of the IPA.Methods: We did this prospective, multicenter, open-label, observational study at gastric surgery departments of34 hospitals in China. Gastric cancer patients aged 18 years or older and scheduled to undergo elective total or distal gastrectomy were assigned. During the surgery, IPA dissecting and exposing the origination point with photographs or video clips were required. The primary outcome was the origination of the IPA. Analysis of variance, χ~2 tests and Fisher's tests were used to analyze the differences between groups. The study is registered at Clinicaltrials.gov(No. NCT03071237).Results: Between May 8 and July 31, 2017, 429 patients were assigned for the study, and 419(97.7%) patients had the IPA dissected and recorded through photograph or video and were included in the primary outcome analysis. The median age was 62 years old, and 73.7% were male. Among the patients, 78.5% received laparoscopic surgery. Single IPA origination was identified in 398(95.0%) patients, including gastroduodenal artery(GDA) in154(36.8%) patients, anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery(ASPDA) in 130(31.0%) patients, and right gastroepiploic artery(RGEA) in 114(27.2%) patients. Fifteen(3.6%) patients were identified with multiple IPA and 6(1.4%) patients were identified as IPA absence. The differences in the distribution of surgical approach(P=0.003) and geographic area(P=0.030) were statistically significant. No difference was shown in sex, age, gastrectomy type, tumor location, and clinical T, N and M stage. Conclusions: Our study found that the IPA originates from GDA, ASPDA and RGEA in similar proportions.Laparoscopic surgery may be more helpful in dissection of the IPA than open surgery.Rulin Miao Jianjun Qu Zhengrong Li Daguang Wang Jiang Yu Weidong Zang Yong Li Fenglin Liu Jian Zhang Wu Song Kai Ye Su Yan Wei Wang Shuangyi Ren Lu Zang Changqing Jing Li Zhang Kuan Wang Weihua Fu Lin Fan Bin Liang Gang Zhao Jun Cai Li Yang Jiaming Zhu Jun You Kun Yang Qingxing Huang Zhaojian Niu Ning Ning Xingfeng Qiu Gang Ji Feng Liang Hua Huang Chao Gao Fei Shan Shuangxi Li Yongning Jia Lianhai Zhang Xiangji Ying Yan Zhang Zhaode Bu Xiangqian Su Gang Zhao Ziyu Li Jiafu Ji 2018Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2018,30,5:5

SUB-NANOMETER POLISHING OF MAGNETIC RIGID DISK HEADS TO AVOID POLE TIP RECESSION显示文摘For the purpose of solving the problem that too large pole tip recession (PTR) is produced in magnetic rigid disk beads by mechanical polishing,a chemical mechanical nano-grinding experiment is performed by using a float-piece polisher with a tin plate to achieve a more plane and smoother surface. A basal solution, addition agents and a range of pH value are suitably selected to find a kind of slurry, with which the PTR can be controlled on sub-nanometer scale and the giant magnetic resistance (GMR) corrosion and electrostatic damage (ESD) can be avoided. Moreover, the cause that TiC protrudes from the substrate surface of the heads is studied. The appropriate shape and size of diamond abrasive are selected according to the chemical activation of Al_2O_3 and TiC in the same slurry. In this way, the chemical and mechanical interactions are optimized and the optimal surface that has small PTR and TiC asperity is achieved. Ultimatily, the chemical mechanical nano-grinding in combination with mechanical nano-grinding is adopted. Sub-nanometer PTR is achieved and the TiC asperity is eliminated by the chemical mechanical nano-grinding with large size of monocrystalline followed by mechanical nano-grinding with smalle polycrystalline diamonds.SHEN Rulin ZHOU Li ZHONG Jue 2008Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2008,21,4:2
WHIRLY1 recruits the histone deacetylase HDA15 repressing leaf senescence and flowering in Arabidopsis显示文摘Leaf senescence is controlled by a complex regulatory network in which robustness is ensured by the activity of transcription factors and epigenetic regulators. However, how these coordinate the process of leaf senescence remains poorly understood. We found that WHIRLY1 interacts with Histone Deacetylase(HDA)15,a Reduced Potassium Dependence3(RPD3)/HDA1-type HDA,by using green fluorescent protein-nanotrap-mass spectrum assays. The development-dependent interaction between WHIRLY1 and HDA15 was further confirmed by bimolecular fluorescence complementation assays and co-immunoprecipitation assays in Arabidopsis.Multi-omics genome-wide transcriptome and H3K9 acetylome enrichment analysis showed that HDA15 delays leaf senescence and flowering by repressing the expression of the positive regulators of leaf senescence and flowering, such as LOX2 and LARP1 C,and reducing H3K9 ac levels at these loci;WHIRLY1 and HDA15 co-target to the region near the transcription start site of a subset of nutrient recycling-related genes(e.g.,Glutathione S-transferases 10,non-coding RNA,and photosystem II protein D1 synthesizer attenuator PDIL1-2),as well as WRKY53 and ELF4,and co-repress their expression by removing H3K9 acetylation. Our study revealed a key transcription regulatory node of nutrient recycling and senescence-associated genes involved in leaf senescence and flowering via the recruitment of HDA15 by the single-stranded DNA/RNA-binding protein WHIRLY1.Dongmei Huang Wei Lan Weibo Ma Rulin Huang Wenfang Lin Mengsi Li Chia-Yang Chen Keqiang Wu Ying Miao 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,7:2

Melatonin decreases GSDME mediated mesothelial cell pyroptosis and prevents peritoneal fibrosis and ultrafiltration failure显示文摘Peritoneal fibrosis together with increased capillaries is the primary cause of peritoneal dialysis failure.Mesothelial cell loss is an initiating event for peritoneal fibrosis. We find that the elevated glucose concentrations in peritoneal dialysate drive mesothelial cell pyroptosis in a manner dependent on caspase-3 and Gasdermin E,driving downstream inflammatory responses, including the activation of macrophages. Moreover, pyroptosis is associated with elevated vascular endothelial growth factor A and C,two key factors in vascular angiogenesis and lymphatic vessel formation.GSDME deficiency mice are protected from high glucose induced peritoneal fibrosis and ultrafiltration failure.Application of melatonin abrogates mesothelial cell pyroptosis through a MT1R-mediated action, and successfully reduces peritoneal fibrosis and angiogenesis in an animal model while preserving dialysis efficacy.Mechanistically, melatonin treatment maintains mitochondrial integrity in mesothelial cells, meanwhile activating m TOR signaling through an increase in the glycolysis product dihydroxyacetone phosphate. These effects together with quenching free radicals by melatonin help mesothelial cells maintain a relatively stable internal environment in the face of high-glucose stress. Thus,Melatonin treatment holds some promise in preserving mesothelium integrity and in decreasing angiogenesis to protect peritoneum function in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis.Hongxia Ruan Xuejuan Li Lina Zhou Zihan Zheng Rulin Hua Xu Wang Yuan Wang Yujie Fan Shuwen Guo Lihua Wang Shafiq ur Rahman Ziwei Wang Yuyuan Wei Shuangyan Yu Rongzhi Zhang Qian Cheng Jie Sheng Xue Li Xiaoyan Liu Ruqiang Yuan Xiaoyan Zhang Lihong Chen Guowang Xu Youfei Guan Jing Nie Hongqiang Qin Feng Zheng 2024Science China(Life Sciences)2024,67,2:0
Biomarkers (Alkanes )of the Xuanlong - Type Iron Deposits显示文摘The authors studied the biomarkers (alkanes) of eight iron ore samples from Nianpanshan and Dsbaodui of Pangjiabao and Longguan, Xuanhua, Hebei. These samples have higher nC15-nC20 contents, with main peaks at nC16, nC 17 and nC18, and contain abundant pristane and phytane. These results indicate that iron stromatolite and iron oncolites in orebodies are sedimentary structures of algal origin. Sedimentary iron accumulation mainly results from activity of blue algae. This study provides new valuable evidence for the origin of Xuanlong-type iron deposits.Liu Zhili, Liu Xuexian, Li Pengfu Department of Biology, Nanjing University, Nanjing, Jiangsuand Du Rulin Hebei College of Geology, Shijiazhuang, Hebei Fei Zhenbi 1995Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)1995,69,4:0

In qualitative analysis, 108 items under three main themes were detected: explosion, dissection, and reconstruction. Revised instruction was subsequently designed according to the change in surgical technique and the cognitive process behind it. Three patients had anastomotic leaks postoperatively, with one classified as Clavien-Dindo Ⅲa.Conclusions: The surgical technique of laparoscopic TH-LMLND is stable and feasible;further IDEAL 2b research is warranted.Yinkui Wang Fanling Hong Shuangxi Li Fei Shan Yongning Jia Rulin Miao Zhemin Li Ziyu Li Jiafu Ji 2023Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2023,35,2:0
Interface construction of NiCo LDH/NiCoS based on the 2D ultrathin nanosheet towards oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Carbon-free hydrogen as a promising clean energy source can be produced with electrocatalysts via water electrolysis.Oxygen evolution reaction(OER)as anodic reaction determines the overall efficiency of water electrolysis due to sluggish OER kinetics. Thus,it’s much desirable to explore the efficient and earth-abundant transition-metal-based OER electrocatalysts with high current density and superior stability for industrial alkaline electrolyzers.Herein,we demonstrate a significant enhancement of OER kinetics with the hybrid electrocatalyst arrays in alkaline via judiciously combining earth-abundant and ultrathin NiCo-based layered double hydroxide(NiCo LDH)nanosheets with nickel cobalt sulfides(NiCoS)with a facile metal-organic framework(MOF)-template-involved surface sulfidation process. The obtained NiCo LDH/NiCoS hybrid arrays exhibits an extremely low OER overpotential of 308 mV at 100 mA·cm^(−2),378 mV at 200 mA·cm^(−2)and 472 mV at 400 mA·cm^(−2)in 1 M KOH solution, respectively.A much low Tafel slope of 48 mV·dec^(−1)can be achieved.Meanwhile, with the current density from 50 to 250 mA·cm^(−2),the NiCo-LDH/NiCoS hybrid arrays can run for 25 h without any degradation. Our results demonstrate that the construction of hybrid arrays with abundant interfaces of NiCo LDH/NiCoS can facilitate OER kinetics via possible modulation of binding energy of O-containing intermediates in alkaline media. The present work would pave the way for the development of lowcost and efficient OER catalysts and industrial application of water alkaline electrolyzers.Jiahui Li Lili Wang Haojia He Yiquan Chen Zirui Gao Na Ma Bing Wang Linlin Zheng Rulin Li Yujia Wei Junqing Xu Yao Xu Bowen Cheng Zhen Yin Ding Ma 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:0
Effects of Spinning Process on Intergranular Corrosion Behavior of 5A06 Aluminum Alloy显示文摘Aluminum alloy tubes were prepared by tube spinning. The intergranular and electrochemical corrosion tests were used to investigate the intergranular corrosion behavior of the 5A06 aluminum alloy blank sample and the spinning sample. Results showed that the intergranular corrosion resistance of the spinning sample was higher than that of the blank sample. In addition, the electrochemical corrosion resistance of the spinning sample was higher than that of the blank sample. The EDS maps indicated a uniform element distribution pattern of aluminum and magnesium. Moreover, the phase composition and lattice constant of the samples were obtained by XRD analysis. The differences in microstructure between the aluminum alloy subjected to the spinning process and the untreated aluminum alloy were determined by EBSD.The differences were mainly attributed to the complex interactions among grain size, dislocations and grain boundaries.张谦君 付永康 ZHAO Wenlong 李青 ZHANG Rulin GUO Yong LI Rongbin 2023Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2023,38,1:0
Nutritional Elements Related to Leaf Blight of Pearl Plum in Longtan Town显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate the correlation between leaf blight of pearl plum and nutrient elements from the perspective of plant nutrition.[Methods]Branch and leaf samples of pearl plum plants infected by or free of leaf blight and the corresponding 0-30 cm cultivated soil were collected, and statistical analysis was conducted according to the changes in nutrient contents and the incidence of leaf blight,so as to look for nutrients in pearl plum plants associated with leaf blight,as well as soil constraint factors.[Results]Phosphorus, iron and manganese in nutrients may be related to leaf blight, and the factors affecting leaf blight may be the ratios of P/Fe and P/Mn in leaves.[Conclusions]This study provides a basis for further research on the relationship between phosphorus, iron and manganese on the effect of leaf blight in pearl plum trees.Xiaohui ZHU Jinsheng HUANG Yan ZENG Liuqiang ZHOU Rulin XIE Jiayu PENG Huiping OU Zhongning LI Hongmei LU 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,4:0
Identification of lipopolysaccharide-binding protein as a novel citrullinated autoantigen in rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘Background:A specific feature of the autoimmune response in rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is the presence of anti-citrullinated protein antibodies(ACPAs)in patient sera. These antibodies can appear several years before disease onset and are involved in the development of RA.Objective:We performed proteomic analysis by mass spectroscopy to identify novel citrullinated antigens and autoantibodies in RA patients. Methods:Polypeptides isolated from the sera of RA patients were identified by Orbitrap high-precision mass spectrometry and then citrulline-containing proteins were selected. The levels of ACPAs against these newly identified citrullinated autoantigens in sera of 100 RA patients and 50 healthy controls were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. Results:A total of 135 proteins were identified in RA patients and the protein profile included 11 citrulline-containing antigens.Three of the 11 citrullinated proteins had been reported in previous studies.ACPAs against the novel citrullinated epitopes from these proteins were increased in sera from the RA patients compared with those from healthy controls.Autoantibodies against one of the citrullinated antigens,lipopolysaccharide-binding protein(LBP),was significantly increased in RA patients and associated with disease activities. The titer of anti-citrullinated LBP antibodies(anti-cLBP)was closely related to the infection incidence in RA patients. Conclusion:Serum protein analysis by high-precision proteomic technology is a feasible method to identify novel citrullinated epitopes in RA patients.Anti-cLBP antibodies are associated with disease severity and infection in RA patients.Xiaozhen Zhao Yuling Chen Wen Wen Yongjing Cheng Ru Li Xu Liu Yuhui Li Rulin Jia Haiteng Deng Zhanguo Li Xiaolin Sun 2022Rheumatology & Autoimmunity2022,2,1:0
Temporal and Spatial Distribution of SARS-CoV-2 Aerosols in a Large-Scale Fangcang Shelter Hospital in Shanghai,China显示文摘The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic caused by frequently mutating severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has had a worldwide impact. However, detailed data on the potential aerosol transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in real-world and controlled laboratory settings remain sparse.During the COVID-19 pandemic in Shanghai,China in 2022,samples were collected in a Fangcang shelter hospital,a large-scale temporary hospital rapidly built by converting the existing National Exhibition and Convention Center(Shanghai)into a health care facility.Aerosol samples at different sites and intervals around patients and in public areas, surface samples, and pharyngeal swab samples from corresponding patients were included.Samples were tested for SARS-CoV-2 using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)assays,followed by sequencing if the cycle threshold(Ct)value was<30.The positivity rate for SARS-CoV-2 in aerosol samples was high in contaminated zones(37.5%,104/277),especially around the bed(41.2%,68/165)and near ventilation inlets(45.2%,14/31).The prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 around the bed, public areas, and air inlets of exhaust vents fluctuated and was closely related to the positivity rate among patients at corresponding sampling sites. Some surface samples of different personal protective equipment from medical staff had high positivity rates.Sixty sequences of joined ORF1ab and spike genes obtained from sixty samples represented two main clusters of Omicron SARS-CoV-2.There was consistency in virus sequences from the same patient and their environment, and the detected virus sequences matched those of virus strains in circulation during the collection periods, which indicated a high likelihood of cross-contamination in the Fangcang shelter hospital. In summary, the results provide a quantitative and real landscape of the aerosol transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and a patient-centered view of contamination in large and enclosed spaces and offer a useful guide for taking targeted measures to avoid nosocomial infections during the management of SARS-CoV-2 or other respiratory virus diseases in a Fangcang shelter hospital.Jiafu Jiang Zhe Yin Jing Li Leili Jia Rulin He Wenhui Yang Jihu Yang Hang Fan Sen Zhang Yunfei Wang Zengming Zhao Haoran Peng Lizhong Li Yi Yang Shi-Yong Fan Rong Xiang Jianshu Guo Jinjin Wang Juanning Wei Fengling Zhou Ding Liu Ping Zhao Yujun Cui Yunxi Liu Dongsheng Zhou Gang Dong 2023Engineering2023,,9:0
