| 1 | DOG1 is useful for diagnosis of KIT-negative gastrointestinal stromal tumor of stomach显示文摘Approximately 80%-95%of gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs)show positive staining for KIT,while the other 5%-20%show negative staining.If the tumor is negative for KIT,but is positive for CD34,a histological diagnosis is possible.However,if the tumor is negative for KIT,CD34,S-100,and SMA,a definitive diagnosis is often challenging.Recently,Discovered on GIST-1(DOG1)has received considerable attention as a useful molecule for the diagnosis of GIST.DOG1,a membrane channel protein,is known to be overexpressed in GIST.Because the sensitivity and specificity of DOG1 are higher than those of KIT,positive staining for DOG1has been reported,even in KIT-negative GISTs.KITnegative GISTs most commonly arise in the stomach and are mainly characterized by epithelioid features histologically.We describe our experience with a rare case of a KIT-negative GIST of the stomach that was diagnosed by positive immunohistochemical staining for DOG1 in a patient who presented with severe anemia.Our findings suggest that immunohistochemical staining for DOG1,in addition to gene analysis,is useful for the diagnosis of KIT-negative tumors that are suspected to be GISTs. | Takuya Wada Satoshi Tanabe Kenji Ishido Katsuhiko Higuchi Tohru Sasaki Chikatoshi Katada Mizutomo Azuma Akira Naruke Myunguchul Kim Wasaburo Koizumi Tetsuo Mikami | 2013 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2013，19，47： | 11 |
| 2 | Delayed perforation after endoscopic submucosal dissection for early gastric cancer: Clinical features and treatment显示文摘Perforation is an important procedural complication of endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD) for early gastric cancer. Although the incidence of delayed perforation after ESD is low, extreme caution is necessary because many cases require surgical intervention. Among 1984 lesions of early gastric cancer treated in our hospital by ESD in 1588 patients from September 2002 through March 2015, delayed perforation developed in 4 patients(4 lesions, 0.25%). | 8 | Clinicopathological evaluation of duodenal well-differentiated endocrine tumors显示文摘AIM:To assess the clinicopathological characteristics of duodenal well-differentiated endocrine tumors.METHODS:We examined clinicopathological characteristics in 11 consecutive patients with duodenal well-differentiated endocrine tumors treated by endoscopic therapy or surgery in our hospital from 1992 through 2007.Patients with well-differentiated endocrine tu-mors of the papilla of Vater or with gastrinoma were excluded.RESULTS:Three patients received endoscopic treatment,and 8 underwent surgery.In patients who received endoscopic treatment,the tumor diameter was less than 1.0 cm,with no histopathological evidence of lymphovascular invasion or invasion of the muscularis.There were no complications such as late bleedingor perforation after treatment.Among 8 patients with tumors less than 1.0 cm in diameter,3 underwent partial resection,and 2 underwent radical surgery.Three patients had lymphovascular invasion,1 had invasion of the muscularis,and 1 had proximal lymph node metastasis.Among 3 patients with tumors 1.0 cm or more in diameter,1 underwent partial resection,and 2 under-went radical surgery.One patient had lymphovascular invasion,with no lymph node metastasis.After treatment,all patients are alive and have remained free of metastasis and recurrence.CONCLUSION:Duodenal well-differentiated endocrine tumors less than 1.0 cm in diameter have a risk of lym-phovascular invasion,invasion of the muscularis,and lymph node metastasis,irrespective of procedural prob-lems. | Kenji Ishido Satoshi Tanabe Katsuhiko Higuchi Tohru Sasaki Chikatoshi Katada Mizutomo Azuma Akira Naruke Wasaburo Koizumi Tetsuo Mikami | 2010 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2010，16，36： | 1 |

| 18 | Prevalence and fuoroquinolone resistance of Campylobacter spp.isolated from beef cattle in Japan显示文摘Beef is a source of human Campylobacter infections.Antimicrobial treatment is needed when patients are immuno‑compromised or have other comorbidities.Therefore,we investigated the prevalence and antimicrobial resistance of Campylobacter spp.in beef cattle in Japan.Rectal swab samples were collected from 164 beef cattle at an abattoir between March 2021 and August 2021,and Campylobacter spp.were isolated from 94(57.3%)cattle.C.jejuni and C.coli were isolated from 68 and 26 cattle,respectively.For Campylobacter jejuni,the resistant rates against ampicillin,tetracycline and ciprofoxacin were 20.6,75.0 and 64.7%,respectively.For C.coli,the resistant rates against ampicil‑lin,tetracycline and ciprofoxacin were 53.8,76.9 and 88.5%,respectively.No Campylobacter isolates were resistant to erythromycin.By multilocus sequence typing,C.jejuni and C.coli isolates were classifed into 22 and 2 sequence types(STs).The top three STs of C.jejuni were ST806(12 isolates),ST21(nine isolates),and ST459(eight isolates).The most frequent ST of C.coli was ST1068(23 isolates).The results suggest that Campylobacter spp.are prevalent in the gastrointestinal tract of beef cattle slaughtered at abattoirs.Furthermore,the administration of erythromycin is efec‑tive against human campylobacteriosis caused by beef consumption.Monitoring the prevalence and antimicrobial resistance of Campylobacter spp.in beef cattle could be useful for managing the risk of human campylobacteriosis. | Yoshimasa Sasaki Hiroshi Asakura Tetsuo Asai | 2022 | Animal Diseases2022，2，3： | 0 |
