1Remineralization of enamel caries by an amelogenin-derived peptide and fluoride in vitro显示文摘Dental caries is one of the most common oral diseases in the world.This study was tantamount to investigate the combinatory effects of an amelogenin-derived peptide(called QP5)and fluoride on the remineralization of artificial enamel caries.The peptide QP5 was synthesized and characterized,and the binding capability of the peptide on hydroxyapatite(HA)and demineralized tooth enamel surface was analysed.Then,the mineralization function of the peptide and fluoride was studied through the spontaneous mineralization testing and remineralization on enamel caries in vitro.First,the novel peptide QP5 could bind on the hydroxyapatite and demineralized tooth enamel surfaces.Second,QP5 can transitorily stabilize the formation of amorphous calcium phosphate and direct the transformation into hydroxyapatite crystals alone and in combination with fluoride.In addition,compared to blocks treated by peptide QP5 alone or fluoride,the sample blocks showed significantly higher surface microhardness,lower mineral loss and shallower lesion depth after treatment with a combination of QP5 and fluoride at high or low concentrations.The peptide QP5 could control the crystallization of hydroxyapatite,and combinatory application of peptide QP5 and fluoride had a potential synergistic effect on the remineralization of enamel caries.Longjiang Ding Sili Han Kun Wang Sainan Zheng Wenyue Zheng Xiu Peng Yumei Niu Wei Li Linglin Zhang 2020Regenerative Biomaterials2020,7,3:6
2Microstructure evolution of a hypereutectic Nb–Ti–Si–Cr–Al–Hf alloy processed by directional solidification显示文摘In this work, the Nb–14Si–24Ti–10Cr–2Al–2Hf–0.1Y alloy(at.%) was processed by the liquid–metal-cooled directional solidification(DS) at 1750 C with withdrawal rates of 1.2, 6,18 mm/min and post heat treatment(HT) at 1450 C for 10 h. The microstructures of the directionally solidified and heat treated samples were investigated. The results show that the microstructure of directionally solidified alloy mainly consists of petaloid Nbss+ Nb5Si3eutectics and Ti-rich Nbss+ Nb5Si3+ Cr2Nb eutectics. With the increase of withdrawal rate, the primary Nb5Si3is eliminated, Nbss+ Nb5Si3eutectic cells turn round and connected with the microstructure refinement and Nbss+ Nb5Si3+ Cr2Nb eutectics turn to a river-like morphology. After heat treatment,Nbss+ Nb5Si3+ Cr2Nb eutectics disappeared and petaloid Nbss+ Nb5Si3eutectics turn to a specific fiber-mesh structure gradually, which is promoted by higher withdrawal rates. 3Prototethyan orogenesis in southwest Yunnan and Southeast Asia显示文摘The Prototethyan Ocean has been suggested as an Early Paleozoic Ocean developed at the Gondwana northern margin. However, its spatial pattern, subduction style and closure time in SW Yunnan and SE Asia still remain unknown. The Prototethyan evolution in SW Yunnan and SE Asia and its internal connection with the South China Kwangsian(Ordo-Silurian)intracontinental orogenesis are also poorly constrained. By summarizing and analyzing the Early Paleozoic geological records in the Sibumasu and Indochina blocks, the eastern South China and SW Japan, this paper proposes the existence of a giant OrdoSilurian igneous belt along the Gondwana northern margin. A preliminary limitation has been obtained regarding the source nature and migration pattern of the igneous belt. Our data allow us to propose a model of the Early Paleozoic Andean-type active continental margin along the East Gondwana northern margin. This is the foundation to determine the southward subduction of the southern branch of the eastern Prototethyan Ocean underneath the Sibumasu and Indochina blocks along the YunxianMenghai(SW Yunnan)-Thailand Peninsula and the Tam Ky-Phouc Son suture in Central Vietnam, respectively, and the eastward linkage with the Early Paleozoic Osaka subduction zone in SW Japan across the peripheral Sanya area. These data synthetically indicate an easterly-diachronous and propagating Andean-type Cambrian(Furongian)-Silurian(Llandovery) orogenesis along the Gondwana northern margin from Nepal, NW India, South Tibet, Qiangtang to Central Vietnam across South Indochina and Sibumasu. 4Effects of Combined Pre-straining and Pre-aging on Natural Aging and Bakehardening Response of an Al-Mg-Si Alloy显示文摘For a series of Al-0.34%Mg-1.05%Si-0.08%Cu alloys, the effects of pre-treatment on natural aging, bake hardening response and plasticity were investigated using Vickers hardness test and tensile test. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis was conducted to reveal corresponding precipitation mechanisms. The results showed that pre-straining and pre-aging alone couldn't completely suppress natural aging and improve bake hardening response simultaneously. The sensitivity of the pre-straining and pre-aging on the mechanical properties was evaluated. It was found that pre-aging was the main factor which greatly improved bake hardening response and pre-treatment had a weak influence on plasticity in pre-treated samples. DSC analysis showed that the dissolution trough of clusters disappeared in pre-treated samples, both β'' and β' precipitation peak shifted to lower temperature and were reduced in pre-strained and pre-aged samples. 5The effects of different nitrogen sources on camptothecin content and related gene expression in Camptotheca acuminata seedlings显示文摘Camptotheac acuminata Decne is a unique tree species in China with an important secondary metabolite,camptothecin(CPT),used in the treatment of cancer.Nitrogen(N)is an important element that affects plant growth and the accumulation of CPT.Reports on the effect of N on CPT synthesis from a genetic perspective are scarce.To explore the effects of different N sources and levels on CPT synthesis in C.acuminata,two-year-old seedlings were fertilized with different concentrations of pure ammonium sulphate,source of ammonium N(NH4+-N),and potassium nitrate for nitrate N(NO3--N).Concentrations of 2.5,5,7.5,and10 g pot-1 NH4+-N and NO3--N were used.The results showed that 7.5 g NH4+-N and NO3--N treatments were best for growth and fresh weight of leaves.Compared with the other treatments,the CPT content,tryptophan synthase and tryptophan decarboxylase activities,and expression of the CaTSB and CaTDCl genes under the 2.5 g NH4+-N and NO3--N treatments peaked significantly at 30 days.However,the expression of CaTDC2 surpassed that of the other two genes at 60 days.Therefore,compared with NH4+-N source,the NO3--N source was more beneficial for growth,and NO3--N was better for CPT yield.Consequently,leaves of C.acuminata treated with 2.5 g NO3--N could be harvested after 30 days to obtain maximum CPT content.CaTDC1 is more closely linked to CPT synthesis.The results of this study improved the production of CPT in C.acuminata via fertilization.Xiaode Wang Sainan Bian Pengjie Chang Ninghang Wang Lingjuan Xuan Mingru Zhang Bin Dong Chao Zhang Jiasheng Wu Yeqing Ying Xiazhen Lin Yamei Shen 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,4:3
6A reversed phase/hydrophilic interaction/ion exchange mixed-mode stationary phase for liquid chromatography显示文摘A reversed phase (RP)/hydrophilic interaction (HILIC)/ion exchange (IEX) mixed tri-mode stationary phase (TMSP) has been prepared via a divergent synthesis scheme starting from propylamine on silica then by amine-epoxy reactions with 1,4-butanedioldiglycidyl ether and tertiary amines (N,Ndimethyldecylamine, DMDA). Its retention mechanism was found to follow RP/HILIC/IEX mixed-mode.The stop-flow test revealed that TMSP had good compatibility with 100% aqueous mobile phase. 7PD0325901, an ERK inhibitor, enhances the efficacy of PD-1 inhibitor in non-small cell lung carcinoma显示文摘ERK pathway regulated the programmed death ligand-1(PD-L1)expression which was linked to the response of programmed death-1(PD-1)/PD-L1 blockade therapy.So it is deducible that ERK inhibitor could enhance the efficacy of PD-1 inhibitor in cancer immunotherapy.In this study,PD0325901,an oral potent ERK inhibitor,strongly enhanced the efficacy of PD-1 antibody in vitro and in vivo models in non-small cell lung carcinoma(NSCLC)cells.Mechanistically,PD0325901 or shRNA-ERK1/2 significantly downregulated the PD-L1 expression in NSCLC cells and increased the CD3+T cells infiltration and functions in tumor tissue.There was a positive correlation between the p-ERK1/2 expression and PD-L1 expression in patients with NSCLC.And the patients with low p-ERK1/2 expression were observed a high response rate of PD-1/PD-L1 blockage therapy.Our results demonstrate that PD0325901,an ERK inhibitor,can enhance the efficacy of PD-1 blockage against NSCLC in vitro and in vivo models.And the combination of ERK inhibitor such as PD0325901 and PD-1/PD-L1 blockage is a promising regimen and encouraged to be further confirmed in the treatment of patients with NSCLC.Min Luo Yuhui Xia Fang Wang Hong Zhang Danting Su Chaoyue Su Chuan Yang Shaocong Wu Sainan An Suxia Lin Liwu Fu 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,10:1
8Interleukin-13 promotes cellular senescence through inducing mitochondrial dysfunction in IgG4-related sialadenitis显示文摘Immunoglobulin G4-related sialadenitis(IgG4-RS)is an immune-mediated fibro-inflammatory disease and the pathogenesis is still not fully understood.The aim of this study was to explore the role and mechanism of interleukin-13(IL-13)in the cellular senescence during the progress of IgG4-RS.We found that the expression of IL-13 and IL-13 receptorα1(IL-13Rα1)as well as the number of senescent cells were significantly higher in the submandibular glands(SMGs)of IgG4-RS patients.IL-13 directly induced senescence as shown by the elevated activity of senescence-associatedβ-galactosidase(SA-β-gal),the decreased cell proliferation,and the upregulation of senescence markers(p53 and p16)and senescence-associated secretory phenotype(SASP)factors(IL-1βand IL-6)in SMG-C6 cells.Mechanistically,IL-13 increased the level of phosphorylated signal transducer and activator of transcription 6(p-STAT6)and mitochondrial-reactive oxygen species(mt ROS),while decreased the mitochondrial membrane potential,ATP level,and the expression and activity of superoxide dismutase 2(SOD2).Notably,the IL-13-induced cellular senescence and mitochondrial dysfunction could be inhibited by pretreatment with either STAT6 inhibitor AS1517499 or mitochondria-targeted ROS scavenger Mito TEMPO.Moreover,IL-13 increased the interaction between p-STAT6 and c AMP-response element binding protein(CREB)-binding protein(CBP)and decreased the transcriptional activity of CREB on SOD2.Taken together,our findings revealed a critical role of IL-13 in the induction of salivary gland epithelial cell senescence through the elevated mitochondrial oxidative stress in a STAT6–CREB–SOD2-dependent pathway in IgG4-RS.Mengqi Zhu Sainan Min Xiangdi Mao Yuan Zhou Yan Zhang Wei Li Li Li Liling Wu Xin Cong Guangyan Yu 2022International Journal of Oral Science2022,14,3:1

10Suppression of oscillatory congestion via trunk link bandwidth and control gain in star network显示文摘The time delay-induced instability in an Internet congestion control model is investigated. The star topology is considered, and the link bandwidth ratio and the control gain are selected as the tunable parameters for congestion suppression. The stability switch boundary is obtained by the eigenvalue analysis for the linearized system around the equilibrium. To investigate the oscillatory congestion when the equilibrium becomes unstable, the center manifold reduction and the normal form theory are used to study the periodic oscillation induced by the delay. The theoretical analysis and numerical simulation show that the ratio between bandwidths of the trunk link and the regular link,rather than these bandwidths themselves, is crucial for the stability of the congestion control system. 11Tanshinone IIA Suppresses Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Through Beclin-1-Mediated Autophagic Apoptosis显示文摘It is necessary to develop a new strategy for treatment of lung cancer since it is the main cause of cancer death.Tanshinone IIA(Tan IIA),an active ingredient of a commonly used traditional Chinese herb Salvia miltiorrhiza,provides a new direction to develop a new strategy for the treatment.It has been found that Tan IIA could inhibit lung cancer in vitro and in vivo by inducing autophagic apoptosis.Tan IIA increased apoptotic cells and the expression of cleaved caspase 3 and cleaved caspase 9,decreased B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2)/Bcl-2 associated X protein(Bax)ratio in human non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)cell lines,which was promoted by an autophagy activator Rapamycin,and weaken by autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine(3-MA).In addition,Tan IIA induced more autophagosomes,up-regulated light chain 3b(LC-3B)I and LC-3B II conversion and less sequestosome 1(SQSTM1/p62)expression,which cannot be weakened by the caspase 3 antagonist.Moreover,overexpression of LC-3B gene(LC3B)and downregulation of autophagic gene 5(ATG5)further confirmed that Tan IIA induced autophagic apoptosis in NSCLC cell lines.Beclin-1 gene(BECN1)overexpression and silence attenuated the effects of Tan IIA,suggesting autophagic apoptosis that Tan IIA induced was dependent on Beclin-1.Overall,our study demonstrated a new treatment mechanism of Tan IIA and suggested that Tan IIA is a potential new anti-cancer therapeutic option.Shasha Bai Sainan Cui Wenhao Wen Elaine Lai-Han Leung Jing Bai Huiyuan Lin Yongfei Cui Lei Yang Zhongqiu Liu Yuan Zheng Rong Zhang 2022Engineering2022,,12:0

13Suitability Evaluation of Hydrogen Production and Hydrogenation Station Based on AHP-Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method显示文摘Since there are multiple influencing factors and lack of evaluation standards for the construction of hydrogen production and hydrogenation station in China,this paper establishes the suitability evaluation index system of hydrogen production and hydrogenation station from four aspects of technology,economy,environment and safety.Combined with actual conditions,this paper uses Analytic Hierarch Process(AHP)and Fuzzy Comprehensive eval-uation to evaluate water electrolysis hydrogen and hydrogenation production station and natural gas reformation hydrogen production and hydrogenation station.The results show that hydrogen producing by water electrolysis is more efficient than natural gas reformation in hydrogen production and hydrogenation station,and it should be choose firstly.Furthermore,natural gas reformation hydrogen producing is inferior in technology,environment and safety,but it is superior to water electrolysis hydrogen producing in economy.In the future,we can strengthen development of the hydrogen production from renewable energy sources,so as to enhance the economic benefit of that by water electrolysis.In addition,we can also adopt two ways of hydrogen production in hydrogen production and hydrogenation station to achieve favorable integrative benefits.Sainan Zhang Jing Xue Xudong Sun 2022Energy Engineering2022,119,4:0

15Determination of molecular energies via variational-based quantum imaginary time evolution in a superconducting qubit system显示文摘As a valid tool for solving ground state problems,imaginary time evolution(ITE)is widely used in physical and chemical simulations.Different ITE-based algorithms in their quantum counterpart have recently been proposed and applied to some real systems.We experimentally realize the variational-based quantum imaginary time evolution(QITE)algorithm to simulate the ground state energy of hydrogen(H_2)and lithium hydride(Li H)molecules in a superconducting qubit system.The H_2 molecule is directly simulated using the 3-qubit circuit with unitary-coupled clusters(UCC)ansatz.We also combine QITE with the cluster mean-field(CMF)method to obtain an effective Hamiltonian.The Li H molecule is correspondingly simulated using the 3-qubit circuit with hardware-efficient ansatz.For comparison,the Li H molecule is also directly simulated using the 4-qubit circuit with UCC ansatz at the equilibrium point.All the experimental results show a convergence within 4 iterations,with high-fidelity ground state energy obtained.For a more complex system in the future,the CMF may allow further grouping of interactions to obtain an effective Hamiltonian,then the hybrid QITE algorithm can possibly simulate a relatively large-scale system with fewer qubits.Zhiwen Zong Sainan Huai Tianqi Cai Wenyan Jin Ze Zhan Zhenxing Zhang Kunliang Bu Liyang Sui Ying Fei Yicong Zheng Shengyu Zhang Jianlan Wu Yi Yin 2024Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2024,67,4:0
16Microstructure evolution and room temperature deformation of a directionally solidiied Nb-Si-Ti-Cr-Al-Hf-Y alloy显示文摘An Nb-14Si-22Ti-4Cr-2Al-2Hf-0.15Y(at.%) alloy was prepared by directional solidification(DS) with liquid metal cooling, and the withdrawal rates selected were 1.2, 6, and 18 mm·min-1, respectively. The Influence of withdrawal rate and heat treatment on the microstructural evolution, fracture toughness and tensile strength at room temperature were investigated. Results show that the directionally solidified microstructure is composed of primary(Nb, X)ss dendrites and(Nb, X)ss/α-(Nb, X)5Si3 eutectic cells aligning with the growth direction. The formation of bulk Nb3Si is suppressed. With an increase in withdrawal rate, the dendrite arm spacing of(Nb, X)ss decreases, and the(Nb, X)ss/α-(Nb, X)5Si3 eutectic cells become finer and distribute homogeneously. Directional solidification can significantly improve the room temperature fracture toughness, especially the alloy with a withdrawal rate of 6 mm·min-1; its average value reaches 14.1 MPa·m0.5, about 34% higher than that of the alloy without directional solidification. The withdrawal rate has obvious effect on tensile strength, and the tensile strength is improved from 200 MPa to 429 MPa as the withdrawal rate increases from 1.2 mm·min-1 to 1.8 mm·min-1. After heat treatment, the primary(Nb, X)ss branches become coarser; both the room temperature fracture toughness and tensile strength of the alloys solidified at 1.2 and 6 mm·min-1are somewhat lower than the corresponding values of the alloy without heat treatment, while they are higher than the corresponding values of the alloy without heat treatment when solidified at 18 mm·min-1.Wang Bin Jia Lina Yuan Sainan Ma Limin Su Linfen Zhang Hu 2013China Foundry2013,10,6:0

18Characterizing and predicting smoldering temperature variations based on non-linear mixed effects models显示文摘Underground fires are slow spreading,long-lasting and low temperature smoldering combustion without flames,mainly occurring in peatlands and wetlands with rich organic matter.The spread of the smoldering is maintained by heat released during combustion and monitoring this is an important approach to detect underground fires.The Daxing'an Mountains region is a hotspot for underground fires in northeast China.This study examined a L arix gmelinii plantation in the Tatou wetlands of the Daxing'an Mountains and determined the maximum temperature variation of humus of varying particle sizes,and the temperature rising process based on non-linear mixed effects models by an indoor combustion experiment.Maximum combustion temperatures up to 897.5°C,increased with humus depth;among the three models tested,Richard's equations were best for characterizing temperature variations;a non-linear equation with three parameters had the highest accuracy in fitting the combustion temperature variations with varying humus particle sizes.These results are informative for predicting temperature variations and provide technical support for underground fire monitoring.Sainan Yin Yanlong Shan Bo Gao Shuyuan Tang Xiyue Han Guojiang Zhang Bo Yu Shan Guan 2022Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,6:0
19Biomolecule@COF:Natural-artificial hybrid microcapsules for controllable biocatalysis显示文摘The assembly of biomacromole particles with artificial solid matrixes to fabricate hybrid composites has been demonstrated as an efficient strategy to promote both components'applications.Elaborating matrixes as well as appropriate assembly method is essential for optimal performances of the obtained natural-artificial composites.Herein,we fabricated the Cyt c@COF-42-B microcapsule through a sacrificial templating method and researched their adjustable biocatalysis by precisely adjusting the microenvironments of these assembled enzyme@COF particles.As a result,the hydrophobicity and mass transfer of the COF microcapsule can be controlled by modifying the different amounts of PEG moieties,thus improving the composite's bioactivity.We found that compared with pristine Cyt c@COF-42-B without PEG,the Cyt c@COF-42-B-PEG exhibited a~2.2 times higher activity.This study provides a significant step toward designing customizable functional natural-artificial composites for enhanced biomacromolecule's activity.Shan Qiao Mingmin Li Jiangyue Yu Sainan Zhang Dong Yan Zhenjie Zhang Yao Chen 2022Particuology2022,20,5:0
20Integrative Proteomic Analysis of Multiple Posttranslational Modifications in Inflammatory Response显示文摘Posttranslational modifications(PTMs)of proteins,particularly acetylation,phosphorylation,and ubiquitination,play critical roles in the host innate immune response.PTMs’dynamic changes and the crosstalk among them are complicated.To build a comprehensive dynamic network of inflammation-related proteins,we integrated data from the whole-cell proteome(WCP),acetylome,phosphoproteome,and ubiquitinome of human and mouse macrophages.Our datasets of acetylation,phosphorylation,and ubiquitination sites helped identify PTM crosstalk within and across proteins involved in the inflammatory response.Stimulation of macrophages by lipopolysaccharide(LPS)resulted in both degradative and non-degradative ubiquitination.Moreover,this study contributes to the interpretation of the roles of known inflammatory molecules and the discovery of novel inflammatory proteins.Feiyang Ji Menghao Zhou Huihui Zhu Zhengyi Jiang Qirui Li Xiaoxi Ouyang Yiming Lv Sainan Zhang Tian Wu Lanjuan Li 2022Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,1:0
