| 2 | Redefining Budd-Chiari syndrome:A systematic review显示文摘AIM:To re-examine whether hepatic vein thrombosis(HVT)(classical Budd-Chiari syndrome)and hepatic vena cava-Budd Chiari syndrome(HVC-BCS)are the same disorder.METHODS:A systematic review of observational studies conducted in adult subjects with primary BCS,hepatic vein outflow tract obstruction,membranous obstruction of the inferior vena cava(IVC),obliterative hepatocavopathy,or HVT during the period of January2000 until February 2015 was conducted using the following databases:Cochrane Library,CINAHL,MEDLINE,Pub Med and Scopus.RESULTS:Of 1299 articles identified,26 were included in this study.Classical BCS is more common in women with a pure hepatic vein obstruction(49%-74%).HVCBCS is more common in men with the obstruction often located in both the inferior vena cava and hepatic veins(14%-84%).Classical BCS presents with acute abdominal pain,ascites,and hepatomegaly.HVC-BCS presents with chronic abdominal pain and abdominalwall varices.Myeloproliferative neoplasms(MPN)are the most common etiology of classical BCS(16%-62%)with the JAK2V617-F mutation found in 26%-52%.In HVCBCS,MPN are found in 4%-5%,and the JAK2V617-F mutation in 2%-5%.Classical BCS responds well to medical management alone and 1st line management of HVC-BCS involves percutaneous recanalization,with few managed with medical management alone.CONCLUSION:Systematic review of recent data suggests that classical BCS and HVC-BCS may be two clinically different disorders that involve the disruption of hepatic venous outflow. | Naomi Shin Young H Kim Hao Xu Hai-Bin Shi Qing-Qiao Zhang Jean Paul Colon Pons Ducksoo Kim Yi Xu Fei-Yun Wu Samuel Han Byung-Boong Lee Lin-Sun Li | 2016 | World Journal of Hepatology2016，8，16： | 6 |
| 3 | Expression of micro RNAs in fibroblast of pterygium显示文摘AIM:To screen microRNAs(miRNAs) and set up target miRNAs in pterygium.METHODS:Primary fibroblasts were isolated from pterygium and Tenon's capsule and cultured.Immunocytochemical analysis and Western blotting were performed to confirm the culture of fibroblasts.In all,1733 miRNAs were screened in the first step by using GeneChip^(?) miRNA3.0 Array.Specific miRNAs involved in the pathogenesis of pterygium were subsequently determined using the following criteria:1) high reproducibility in a repetitive test;2) base log value of >7.0 for both control and pterygial fibroblasts;and 3) log ratio of >1.0 between pterygial fibroblasts and control fibroblasts.RESULTS:Primary screening showed that 887/1733 miRNAs were up-regulated and 846/1733 miRNAs were down-regulated in pterygial fibroblasts compared with those in control fibroblasts.Of the 1733 miRNAs screened,4 miRNAs,namely,miRNA-143a-3p,miRNA-181a-2-3p,miRNA-377-5p and miRNA-411a-5p,met the above-mentioned criteria.Primary screening showed that these 4 miRNAs were up-regulated in pterygial fibroblasts compared with control fibroblasts and that miRNA-143a-3p had the highest mean ratio compared with the miRNAs in control fibroblasts.CONCLUSION:miRNA-143a-3p,miRNA-181a-2-3p,miRNA-377-5p and miRNA-411a-5p are up-regulated in pterygial fibroblasts compared with control fibroblasts,suggesting their involvement in the pathogenesis of pterygium. | Joon H.Lee Sun-Ah Jung Young-A Kwon Jea-Lim Chung Ungsoo Samuel Kim | 2016 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2016，9，7： | 5 |

| 6 | DPP-4 Inhibitor Linagliptin is Neuroprotective in Hyperglycemic Mice with Stroke via the AKT/mTOR Pathway and Anti-apoptotic Effects显示文摘Dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors have been shown to have neuroprotective effects in diabetic patients suffering from stroke, but less research has focused on patients with mild hyperglycemia below the threshold for a diagnosis of diabetes. In this investigation, a hyperglycemic mouse model was generated by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin and then subjected to focal cerebral ischemia. We demonstrated that the DPP-4 inhibitor linagliptin significantly decreased the infarct volume, reduced neuronal cell death, decreased inflammation, and improved neurological deficit compared with control mice. Linagliptin up-regulated the expression of p-Akt and p-m TOR and regulated the apoptosis factors Bcl-2, Bax, and caspase 9. | 9 | Secondary Cell Wall Deposition in Developing Secondary Xylem of Poplar显示文摘Although poplar is widely used for genomic and biotechnological manipulations of wood, the cellular basis of wood development in poplar has not been accurately documented at an ultrastructural level. Developing secondary xylem cells from hybrid poplar (Populus deltoides x P. trichocarpa), which were actively making secondary cell walls, were preserved with high pressure freezing/freeze substitution for light and electron microscopy. The distribution of xylans and mannans in the different cell types of developing secondary xylem were detected with immunofluorescence and immuno-gold labeling. While xylans, detected with the monoclonal antibody LM10, had a general distribution across the secondary xylem, mannans were enriched in the S2 secondary cell wall layer of fibers. To observe the cellular structures associated with secondary wall production, cryofixed fibers were examined with transmission electron microscopy during differentiation. There were abundant cortical microtubules and endomembrane activity in cells during the intense phase of secondary cell wall synthesis. | 11 | Intelligent Islanding Detection of Multi-distributed Generation Using Artificial Neural Network Based on Intrinsic Mode Function Feature显示文摘The integration of distributed energy resources(DERs) into distribution networks is becoming increasingly important, as it supports the continued adoption of renewable power generation, combined heat and power plants, and storage systems. Nevertheless, inadvertent islanding operation is one of the major protection issues in distribution networks connected to DERs. This study proposes an intelligent islanding detection method(IIDM) using an intrinsic mode function(IMF)feature-based grey wolf optimized artificial neural network(GWO-ANN). In the proposed IIDM, the modal voltage signal is pre-processed by variational mode decomposition followed by Hilbert transform on each IMF to derive highly involved features. Then, the energy and standard deviation of IMFs are employed to train/test the GWO-ANN model for identifying the islanding operations from other non-islanding events. To evaluate the performance of the proposed IIDM, various islanding and non-islanding conditions such as faults, voltage sag, linear and nonlinear load and switching, are considered as the training and testing datasets. Moreover, the proposed IIDM is evaluated under noise conditions for the measured voltage signal.
