| 2 | Advances in xylooligosaccharides from grain byproducts:Extraction and prebiotic effects显示文摘Xylooligosaccharides(XOS)are mainly derived from lignocellulosic materials,such as rice husk,corn cobs,straw,wheat bran,wheat straw and other grain by-products.XOS have become one of the functional oligosaccharides of great concern at home and abroad due to their beneficial functional properties,such as low calorie,high stability,poor digestibility and high performance in proliferating probiotics.At present,the XOS extraction methods from grain byproducts mainly include autohydrolysis,acidolysis and enzymolysis.Among them,autohydrolysis has high requirements for equipment for achieving higher extraction rate and higher purity of products;and acidolysis can cause environmental pollution due to the usage of harmful reagents.Enzymolysis is the most common method for the production of XOS because of its high convenience,high efficiency and no pollution;and the widely used enzyme is the xylanase from Aspergillus niger.Current researches have showed that XOS can be utilized by probiotics such as Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus to exert prebiotic effects,such as optimizing intestinal flora,promoting intestinal health,improving intestinal barrier,enhancing immune function,improving antioxidant capacity and so on.However,XOS extracted from the grain byproducts contain a large amount of impurities,which limits their industrial application and makes it dif-ficult to control the product quality.Therefore,XOS refining,separation and purification has become the key to their subsequent industrial application.This paper reviewed the current status of XOS extraction technologies from various grain by-products,and also summarized the prebiotic effect of XOS to provide reference for industrial production of XOS and its wide application in prebiotics market,thereby facilitating utilization and development of grain byproducts. | Feng Yan Shuangqi Tian Hu Chen Sensen Gao Xianyou Dong Ke Du | 2022 | Grain & Oil Science and Technology2022,5,2: | 1 |

| 4 | Feedback Cache Mechanism for Dynamically Reconfigurable VLIW Processors显示文摘Very Long Instruction Word(VLIW) architectures are commonly used in application-specific domains due to their parallelism and low-power characteristics. Recently, parameterization of such architectures allows for runtime adaptation of the issue-width to match the inherent Instruction Level Parallelism(ILP) of an application.One implementation of such an approach is that the event of the issue-width switching dynamically triggers the reconfiguration of the data cache at runtime. In this paper, the relationship between cache resizing and issue-width is well investigated. We have observed that the requirement of the cache does not always correlate with the issuewidth of the VLIW processor. To further coordinate the cache resizing with the changing issue-width, we present a novel feedback mechanism to 'block' the low yields of cache resizing when the issue-width changes. In this manner, our feedback cache mechanism has a coordinated effort with the issue-width changes, which leads to a noticeable improvement of the cache performance. The experiments show that there is 10% energy savings as well as a 2.3% cache misses decline on average achieved, compared with the cache without the feedback mechanism.Therefore, the feedback mechanism is proven to have the capability to ensure more benefits are achieved from the dynamic and frequent reconfiguration. | Sensen Hu Weixing Ji Yizhuo Wang | 2017 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2017,22,3: | 1 |

| 8 | SCGN deficiency is a risk factor for autism spectrum disorder显示文摘Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)affects 1-2%of all children and poses a great social and economic challenge for the globe.As a highly heterogeneous neurodevelopmental disorder,the development of its treatment is extremely challenging.Multiple pathways have been linked to the pathogenesis of ASD,including signaling involved in synaptic function,oxytocinergic activities,immune homeostasis,chromatin modifications,and mitochondrial functions.Here,we identify secretagogin(SCGN),a regulator of synaptic transmission,as a new risk gene for ASD.Two heterozygous loss-of-function mutations in SCGN are presented in ASD probands.Deletion of Scgn in zebrafish or mice leads to autism-like behaviors and impairs brain development.Mechanistically,Scgn deficiency disrupts the oxytocin signaling and abnormally activates inflammation in both animal models.Both ASD probands carrying Scgn mutations also show reduced oxytocin levels.Importantly,we demonstrate that the administration of oxytocin and anti-inflammatory drugs can attenuate ASD-associated defects caused by SCGN deficiency.Altogether,we identify a convergence between a potential autism genetic risk factor SCGN,and the pathological deregulation in oxytocinergic signaling and immune responses,providing potential treatment for ASD patients suffering from SCGN deficiency.Our study also indicates that it is critical to identify and stratify ASD patient populations based on their disease mechanisms,which could greatly enhance therapeutic success. | Zhe Liu Shuai Tan Lianyu Zhou Li Chen Mingfeng Liu Wang Wang Yingying Tang Qin Yang Sensen Chi Peiyan Jiang Yue Zhang Yonghua Cui Junhong Qin Xiao Hu Shenglong Li Qi Liu Lu Chen Song Li Ezra Burstein Wei Li Xiaohu Zhang Xianming Mo Da Jia | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,2: | 0 |
| 9 | Stabilized multifunctional phase change materials based on carbonized Cu-coated melamine foam/reduced graphene oxide framework for multiple energy conversion and storage显示文摘The leakage of organic phase change materials(OPCMs)at temperatures above their melting point severely limits their large-scale application.The introduction of porous supports has been identified as an efficient leakageproofing method.In this study,a novel carbonized Cu-coated melamine foam(MF)/reduced graphene oxide(rGO)framework(MF/rGO/Cu-C)is constructed as a support for fabricating stabilized multifunctional OPCMs.MF serves as the supporting material,while rGO and Cu act as functional reinforcements.As a thermal energy storage material,polyethylene glycol(PEG)is encapsulated into MF/rGO/Cu-C through a vacuum-assisted impregnation method to obtain PEG@MF/rGO/Cu-C composite with excellent comprehensive performance.PEG@MF/rGO/Cu-C exhibits high phase change enthalpies of 148.3 J g^(-1)(melting)and 143.9 J g^(-1)(crystallization),corresponding to a high energy storage capability of 92.7%.Simultaneously,MF/rGO/Cu-C endues the composite with an enhanced thermal conductivity of 0.4621Wm^(-1) K^(-1),which increases by 463%compared to that of PEG@MF.Furthermore,PEG@MF/rGO/Cu-C displays great light-to-thermal and electric-to-thermal conversion capabilities,thermal cycle stability,light-tothermal cycle stability,and shape stability,showing promising application prospects in different aspects. | Zhicong Hu Yongjin Zou Cuili Xiang Lixian Sun Fen Xu Menghe Jiang Sensen Yu | 2022 | Carbon Energy2022,4,6: | 0 |
| 10 | Microstructures,mechanical properties and degradability of Mg-2Gd-0.5(Cu/Ni)alloys:A comparison study显示文摘Low alloying Mg-2 Gd-0.5(Cu/Ni)alloys for sealing tools in the oil and gas industry were prepared.The differences in the effects of minor Cu and Ni additions on microstructures and properties of the Mg-2 Gd alloy were compared.The results showed that adding Ni was more effective than adding Cu in refining grain sizes,strengthening the basal fiber texture,and promoting the formation of LPSO phases,resulting in higher strength.The tensile yield strength/elongation of the Mg-2 Gd-0.5 Cu alloy,Mg-2 Gd-0.25 Cu-0.25 Ni alloy,and Mg-2 Gd-0.5 Ni alloy was 146 MPa/23.7%,175 MPa/23.1%,and 248 MPa/18.2%,respectively.The decreased elongation was attributed to the basal fiber texture and the presence of coarse LPSO phases.In terms of the corrosion rate in 3.5 wt.%NaCl solution,it rose from 112 mm y^(-1)for the Mg-2 Gd-0.5 Cu alloy to 269 mm y^(-1)for the Mg-2 Gd-0.25 Cu-0.25 Ni alloy and 490 mm y^(-1)for the Mg-2 Gd-0.5 Ni alloy,indicating that the addition of Ni instead of Cu showed a more significant promoting effect on the degradability of Mg alloys,which was related to more refined grains,the stronger basal fiber texture,and a larger amount of LPSO phases. | Shiyu Zhong Dingfei Zhang Yongqin Wang Sensen Chai Jingkai Feng Yulun Luo Jianrong Hua Qimin Dai Guangshan Hu Junyao Xu Bin Jiang Fusheng Pan | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,33: | 0 |
| 11 | Double-Doped Carbon-Based Electrodes with Nitrogen and Oxygen to Boost the Areal Capacity of Zinc-Bromine Flow Batteries显示文摘Ensuring a stable power output from renewable energy sources,such as wind and solar energy,depends on the development of large-scale and long-duration energy storage devices.Zinc–bromine fl ow batteries(ZBFBs)have emerged as cost-eff ective and high-energy-density solutions,replacing expensive all-vanadium fl ow batteries.However,uneven Zn deposition during charging results in the formation of problematic Zn dendrites,leading to mass transport polarization and self-discharge.Stable Zn plating and stripping are essential for the successful operation of high-areal-capacity ZBFBs.In this study,we successfully synthesized nitrogen and oxygen co-doped functional carbon felt(NOCF4)electrode through the oxidative polymerization of dopamine,followed by calcination under ambient conditions.The NOCF4 electrode eff ectively facilitates effi cient“shuttle deposition”of Zn during charging,signifi cantly enhancing the areal capacity of the electrode.Remarkably,ZBFBs utilizing NOCF4 as the anode material exhibited stable cycling performance for 40 cycles(approximately 240 h)at an areal capacity of 60 mA h/cm^(2).Even at a high areal capacity of 130 mA h/cm^(2),an impressive energy effi ciency of 76.98%was achieved.These fi ndings provide a promising pathway for the development of high-areal-capacity ZBFBs for advanced energy storage systems. | Xiaoyun Sun Deren Wang Haochen Hu Xin Wei Lin Meng Zhongshan Ren Sensen Li | 2024 | Transactions of Tianjin University2024,30,1: | 0 |
| 12 | Petrogenesis and Tectonic Implications of the Paleoproterozoic A-Type Granites in the Xiong’ershan Area along the Southern Margin of the North China Craton显示文摘Paleoproterozoic A-type granites are widely distributed in the southern margin of the North China Craton(SNCC),providing important information for understanding the Paleoproterozoic tectonic regimes in this area.This paper reports newly obtained whole-rock compositions and zircon U-Pb ages for the Tieluping syenogranite porphyry(TLP)and Huoshenmiao alkali granite porphyry(HSM)in the SNCC.Zircons from the TLP and HSM have U-Pb ages of 1805±12 and 1792±14 Ma,respectively.These ages are taken to date the emplacement of these intrusions.They had high total alkali contents(K_(2)O+Na_(2)O>7.13 wt.%),with high 10000×Ga/Al ratios(3.06–3.41)and Zr+Y+Nb+Ce values(709 ppm–910 ppm)as well as high zircon saturation temperatures(864–970℃),indicative of A-type granite affinities.High Y/Nb(1.75–3.32),Ce/Nb(7.72–9.72),and Yb/Ta(2.89–5.60)ratios suggested that TLP and HSM belonged to the A2-type granite.The negative whole rockε_(Nd)(t)values(−8.4 to−6.6)and negative zirconε_(Hf)(t)values(−15.9 to−6.3)confirmed that TLP and HSM were likely generated by the partial melting of an ancient continental crust.TheεHf(t)(−7.4 to+4.0)values of inherited zircons in the TLP suggested that they were derived from the partial melting of Archean basement rocks.Considering the geochemical similarity of the 1.80 Ga A-type granitoids in the SNCC,we propose that the TLP and HSM were formed in a post-collisional regime that was likely associated with the break-off of the Paleoproterozoic subducted slab.Upwelling of the asthenosphere provided huge heat to generate the regional 1.80 Ga A-type granite in the SNCC. | Jinhong Xu Yuping Jiang Shuli Hu Zhengwei Zhang Chengquan Wu Chaofei Zheng Xiyao Li Ziru Jin Sensen Zhang Yatao Zhou | 2024 | Journal of Earth Science2024,35,2: | 0 |
