| 4 | Cyber-Physical Production Systems for Data-Driven,Decentralized,and Secure Manufacturing-A Perspective显示文摘With the concepts of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing gaining popularity, there is a growing notion that conventional manufacturing will witness a transition toward a new paradigm, targeting innovation, automation, better response to customer needs, and intelligent systems.Within this context, this review focuses on the concept of cyber–physical production system(CPPS)and presents a holistic perspective on the role of the CPPS in three key and essential drivers of this transformation:data-driven manufacturing, decentralized manufacturing, and integrated blockchains for data security. The paper aims to connect these three aspects of smart manufacturing and proposes that through the application of data-driven modeling,CPPS will aid in transforming manufacturing to become more intuitive and automated. In turn, automated manufacturing will pave the way for the decentralization of manufacturing.Layering blockchain technologies on top of CPPS will ensure the reliability and security of data sharing and integration across decentralized systems. Each of these claims is supported by relevant case studies recently published in the literature and from the industry;a brief on existing challenges and the way forward is also provided. | Manu Suvarna Ken Shaun Yap Wentao Yang Jun Li Yen Ting Ng Xiaonan Wang | 2021 | Engineering2021,7,9: | 1 |

| 9 | Activation of RAS/MAPK pathway confers MCL-1 mediated acquired resistance to BCL-2 inhibitor venetoclax in acute myeloid leukemia显示文摘Despite high initial response rates, acute myeloid leukemia(AML)treated with the BCL-2-selective inhibitor venetoclax(VEN)alone or in combinations commonly acquires resistance. We performed gene/protein expression, metabolomic and methylation analyses of isogenic AML cell lines sensitive or resistant to VEN,and identified the activation of RAS/MAPK pathway, leading to increased stability and higher levels of MCL-1 protein,as a major acquired mechanism of VEN resistance. | Qi Zhang Bridget Riley-Gillis Lina Han Yanan Jia Alessia Lodi Haijiao Zhang Saravanan Ganesan Rongqing Pan Sergej N.Konoplev Shannon R.Sweeney Jeremy A.Ryan Yulia Jitkova Kenneth Dunner Jr Shaun E.Grosskurth Priyanka Vijay Sujana Ghosh Charles Lu Wencai Ma Stephen Kurtz Vivian R.Ruvolo Helen Ma Connie CWeng Cassandra LRamage Natalia Baran Ce Shi Tianyu Cai Richard Eric Davis Venkata L.Battula Yingchang Mi Jing Wang Courtney D.DiNardo Michael Andreeff Jeffery W.Tyner Aaron Schimmer Anthony Letai Rose Ann Padua Carlos E.Bueso-Ramos Stefano Tiziani Joel Leverson Relja Popovic Marina Konopleva | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,3: | 1 |

| 17 | e-VLBI observations of GRB 080409 afterglow with an Australasian radio telescope network显示文摘Transcontinental e-VLBI observations were conducted in June 2008 with telescopes in Australia,China and Japan. Detections were made of the radio-loud quasar PKS B0727-115, which shows superluminal motion, and the intra-day variable quasar PKS B0524+034. The latter source was used as a phase reference calibrator for observations at the position of the gamma-ray burst GRB 080409, for which an upper limit to the radio emission is set. Australia Telescope Compact Array data were also used to derive a limit on the radio flux density of the GRB afterglow. These observations demonstrate the capability to form a large Australasian radio telescope network for e-VLBI, with data transported and processed in realtime over high capacity networks. This campaign represents the first step towards more regular e-VLBI observations in this region. | Aquib Moin Philip G. Edwards Steven J. Tingay Chris J. Phillips Anastasios K. Tzioumis Shaun W. | 18 | Predicting the Thermal Behavior in Functional Textile Fibers Having Embedded Electronics显示文摘In this paper, both steady-state and transient thermal simulations were performed on functional fibers having an embedded electronic chip acting as a heat source.Simulations were conducted for a range of different fiber materials and arbitrary fiber cross-sectional shapes. We show that under steady-state heating conditions, the thermal response for any arbitrary fiber shape and fiber material system was convection dominated regardless of the effective thermal conductivity of the fiber, and that the corresponding temperature rise within the fiber can be predicted analytically allowing for the maximum temperature to be estimated for any known heat load and fiber geometry. In the case of transient heating,we show that for pulsed power operation of the embedded electronic device, the maximum temperature reached in the fiber is always greater than the maximum temperature of the equivalent steady-state average power. However, high peak powers can be safely achieved if the power-on pulse time and duty cycle are selected to limit the maximum temperature reached in the fiber.Based on the results from the transient simulations,a set of criteria was developed to determine whether the operating conditions would be:(1)allowable for the fiber system, thus requiring no transient simulations,(2)requiring a transient simulation to verify that the maximum temperature is acceptable,and(3)the operating conditions are too severe and device operation at these conditions are not practical. | Shaun Berry Shawn Redmond Tairan Wang Mordechai Rothschild | 2022 | Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,6: | 0 |
