1Effect of Trichoderma viride biofertilizer on ammonia volatilization from an alkaline soil in Northern China显示文摘Ammonia(NH3) volatilization is one of the primary pathways of nitrogen(N) loss from soils after chemical fertilizer is applied, especially from the alkaline soils in Northern China, which results in lower efficiency for chemical fertilizers. Therefore, we conducted an incubation experiment using an alkaline soil from Tianjin(p H 8.37–8.43) to evaluate the suppression effect of Trichoderma viride(T. viride) biofertilizer on NH3 volatilization, and compared the differences in microbial community structure among all samples. The results showed that viable T. viride biofertilizer(T) decreased NH_3 volatilization by 42.21% compared with conventional fertilizer((CK), urea), while nonviable T. viride biofertilizer(TS) decreased NH_3 volatilization by 32.42%. NH_3 volatilization was significantly higher in CK and sweet potato starch wastewater(SPSW) treatments during the peak period. T. viride biofertilizer also improved the transfer of ammonium from soil to sweet sorghum. Plant dry weights increased 91.23% and 61.08% for T and TS, respectively, compared to CK. Moreover, T. viride biofertilizer enhanced nitrification by increasing the abundance of ammonium-oxidizing archaea(AOA) and ammonium-oxidizing bacteria(AOB). The results of high-throughput sequencing indicated that the microbial community structure and composition were significantly changed by the application of T. viride biofertilizer. 2Digital Extraction of Altitudinal Belt Spectra in the West Kunlun Mountains Using SPOT-VGT NDVI and SRTM DEM显示文摘In this paper,a digital identification method for the extraction of altitudinal belt spectra of montane natural belts is presented.Acquiring the sequential spectra of digital altitudinal belts in mountains at an acceptable temporal frequency and over a large area requires extensive time and work if traditional methods of field investigation are to be used.Such being the case,often the altitudinal belts of a whole mountain or the belts at a regional scale are represented by single points.However,single points obviously cannot accurately reflect the spatial variety of altitudinal belts.In this context,a digital method was developed to extract the spectra of altitudinal belts from remote sensing data and SRTM DEM in the West Kunlun Mountains.By means of the 1km resolution SPOT-4 vegetation 10-day composite NDVI,the horizontal distribution of altitudinal belts were extracted through supervised classification,with a total classification accuracy of 72.23%.Then,a way of twice-scan was used to realize the automatic transition of horizontal maps to vertical belts.The classification results of remote-sensing data could thus be transformed automatically to sequential spectra of digital altitudinal belts.The upper and lower lines of the altitudinal belts were then extracted by vertical scanning of the belts.Relationships between the altitudinal belts based on the montane natural zones concerning vegetation types and the geomorphological altitudinal belts were also discussed.As a tentative method,the digital extraction method presented here is effective at digitally identifying altitudinal belts,and could be helpful in rapid information extraction over large-scale areas.XIAO Fei LING Feng DU Yun XUE Huaiping WU Shengjun 2010Journal of Mountain Science2010,7,2:8

4Pharmacological Activation of RXR-a Promotes Hematoma Absorption via a PPAR-y-dependent Pathway After Intracerebral Hemorrhage显示文摘Endogenously eliminating the hematoma is a favorable strategy in addressing intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH).This study sought to determine the role of retinoid X receptor-ot(RXR-a)in the context of hematoma absorption after ICH.Our results showed that pharmacologically activating RXR-a with bexarotene significantly accelerated hematoma clearance and alleviated neurological dysfunction after ICH.RXR-ot was expressed in microglia/macro-phages,neurons,and astrocytes.Mechanistically,bexarotene promoted the nuclear translocation of RXR-a and PPAR-y,as well as reducing neuroinflammation by modulating microglia/macrophage reprograming from the Ml into the M2 phenotype.Furthermore,all the beneficial effects of RXR-a in ICH were reversed by the PPAR-y inhibitor GW9662.In conclusion,the pharmacological activation of RXR-a confers robust neuroprotection against ICH by accelerating hematoma clearance and repolarizing microglia/macrophages towards the M2 phenotype through PPAR-y-related mechanisms.Our data support the notion that RXR-ot might be a promising therapeutic target for ICH.Chaoran Xu Huaijun Chen Shengjun Zhou Chenjun Sun Xiaolong Xia Yucong Peng Jianfeng Zhuang Xiongjie Fu Hanhai Zeng Hang Zhou Yang Cao Qian Yu Yin Li Libin Hu Guoyang Zhou Feng Yan Gao Chen Jianru Li 2021Neuroscience Bulletin2021,37,10:4

6An asymmetric coplanar waveguide(ACPW)resonant antenna based on the composite right/left-handed transmission line显示文摘An asymmetric coplanar waveguide(ACPW)resonant antenna based on a composite right/lefthanded transmission line(CRLH TL)is presented.The proposed antenna consists of an asymmetric coplanar waveguide feeding line and mushroom unit cells.Based on the fundamental structure,an improvement on the antenna is implemented.Two novel structures including a strip-shaped extended ground plane and a rectangular extended ground plane are studied.The antenna with the strip-shaped extended ground plane exhibits bandwidth enhancement characteristics.The operating bandwidths with 10 dB return loss over 210MHz(1.57–1.78 GHz)is obtained.The fractional bandwidth is enhanced from 0.31%to 12.5%,an improvement factor of approximately 40.32.Meanwhile,the antenna with the rectangular extended ground plane presents broadband features.From measured results,the impedance bandwidth over 3.19 GHz(2.65–5.84 GHz)was occupied.It covers WiMAX 3.5/5.5 GHz and WLAN 5.2/5.8 GHz bands,and therefore could well apply to WiMAX/WLAN systems.Further,the radiation patterns,peak gain and radiation efciency are also presented and discussed.WEI ShengJun FENG QuanYuan 2013Science China(Information Sciences)2013,56,12:1
7Large eddy simulation of high-Reynolds-number atmospheric boundary layer flow with improved near-wall correction显示文摘It is highly attractive to develop an efficient and flexible large eddy simulation(LES)technique for high-Reynolds-number atmospheric boundary layer(ABL)simulation using the low-order numerical scheme on a relatively coarse grid,that could reproduce the logarithmic profile of the mean velocity and some key features of large-scale coherent structures in the outer layer.In this study,an improved near-wall correction scheme for the vertical gradient of the resolved streamwise velocity in the strain-rate tensor is proposed to calculate the eddy viscosity coefficient in the subgrid-scale(SGS)model.The LES code is realized with a second-order finite-difference scheme,the scale-dependent dynamic SGS stress model,the equilibrium wall stress model,and the proposed correction scheme.Very-high-Reynolds-number ABL flow simulation under the neutral stratification condition is conducted to assess the performance of the method in predicting the mean and fluctuating characteristics of the rough-wall turbulence.It is found that the logarithmic profile of the mean streamwise velocity and some key features of large-scale coherent structures can be reasonably predicted by adopting the proposed correction method and the low-order numerical scheme.Shengjun FENG Xiaojing ZHENG Ruifeng HU Ping WANG 2020Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2020,41,1:1
8Freestanding and Ultra‑flexible PAN/ZIF‑67 Hybrid Membrane with Controlled Porosity for High‑Performance and High‑Safety Lithium Batteries Separator显示文摘Herein,a flexible ZIF-67/PAN hybrid membrane was successfully prepared by the incorporation of ZIF-67 nanoparticles and PAN nanofibers through electrospinning method.The hybrid membrane presented tomatoes on sticks structures with one single PAN fiber stringing series of ZIF-67 nanoparticles.The morphology,electrolyte wettability,heat resistance,flexibility,and electrochemical properties of the electrospun ZIF-67/PAN membranes were discussed.Among the membranes prepared with different percentage of ZIF-67,the 30% ZIF-67/PAN membrane exhibited outstanding heat shrinkage resistance(remained intact at 200℃ for 1 h),excellent electrolyte uptake(556.39%),wide electrochemical window(~5.25 V)and high ionic conductivity(2.98 mS cm^(−1)).When used as lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)separators,the cells assembled by 30% ZIF-67/PAN membrane presented excellent rate capacity and high capacity retention of 86.9% after 300 cycles at 1C.More importantly,the cells assembled with ZIF-67/PAN membranes repeated bent for 1000 times also exhibited high rate performance and maintained capacity retention of 92% after 100 cycles at 1 C.The characterization and the electrochemical testing suggest the electrospinning prepared ZIF-67/PAN flexible membranes can be expected to be used as potential separator for advanced batteries with high safety and high performance.Mao Guo Hangyi Zhu Pengfei Wan Feng Xu Caihong Wang Shengjun Lu Yufei Zhang Haosen Fan Jian Xu 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,6:1
9Novel insight into the formation and inhibition mechanism of dipeptidyl peptidase-Ⅳ inhibitory peptides from fermented mandarin fish(Chouguiyu)显示文摘Fermented foods are a potential source to produce novel dipeptidyl peptidase-IV inhibitory peptides(D4IPs).In this study,the fermented mandarin fish(Chouguiyu)was used to screen D4IPs and their formation mechanism was studied by metagenomics and peptidomics.A total of 400 D4IPs with DPP-IV inhibition structure and high hydrophobicity were identified.The correlation network map showed that Lactococcus,Bacillus,Lysobacter,Pelagivirga,Kocuria,Escherichia,Streptococcus,and Peptostreptococcus were significantly correlated with the most D4IPs.Four stable D4IPs,including KAGARALTDAETAT,GEKVDFDDIQK,VVDADEMYLKGK,and GQKDSYVGDEAQ were respectively from the precursor proteins parvalbumin,troponin,myosin,and actin,and were mainly formed by the hydrolysis of subtilisin(EC 3.4.21.62),aspartic proteinase(EC 3.4.23.1),thermolysin(EC 3.4.24.27),oligopeptidase B(EC 3.4.21.83),and proteinase P1(EC 3.4.21.96)from Bacillus,Kocuria,Lysobacter,Lactococcus,and Peptostreptococcus.The inhibition mainly resulted from the hydrogen bond and salt bridge between D4IPs and DPP-IV enzyme.This study provides important information on the proteases and related microbial strains to directionally prepare D4IPs in Chouguiyu.Daqiao Yang Chunsheng Li Laihao Li Xianqing Yang Shengjun Chen Yanyan Wu Yang Feng 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,6:0
10A combined pig model to determine the net absorption of volatile fatty acids in the large intestine under different levels of crude fiber显示文摘Background:This study aimed to develop a combined model to quantify the net absorption of volatile fatty acids(VFA)in the large intestine(LI)of pigs.Methods:Fifteen female growing pigs(Duroc×Large White×Landrace)were ranked by body weight(30±2.1 kg)on day 0 and assigned to one of three treatments,namely the basal diet containing different crude fiber(CF)levels(LCF:3.0%CF,MCF:4.5%CF,and HCF:6.0%CF).The pigs were implanted with the terminal ileum fistula and the cannulation of the ileal mesenteric vein(IMV),portal vein(PV),and left femoral artery(LFA)from days 6 to 7.[13 C]-Labeled VFA and P-aminohippuric acid were constantly perfused into the terminal ileum fistula and the cannulation of the IMV(day 15),respectively.Blood samples were collected from the PV and the LFA during perfusion(5 h),and LI samples were collected.Results:The net flux of[12 C]-acetic acid in the PV was greater for LCF versus MCF(p=0.045),but no difference was observed in the net flux of[12 C]-propionic acid(p=0.505)and[12 C]-butyric acid(p=0.35)in the PV among treatments.The deposition of[12 C]-acetic acid in the LI was greater for LCF versus MCF(p=0.014),whereas the deposition of[12 C]-propionic acid(p=0.007)and[12 C]-butyric acid(p=0.037)in the LI was greater for LCF versus HCF.Conclusions:In conclusion,this pig model was found conducive to study the net absorption of VFAs in the LI,and LCF had more net absorption of VFAs in the LI than MCF and HCF.Shengjun Zhao Liangkang Lv Taotao Wu Zhi Feng Qiang Li Long Lei Zhengya Liu Hui Zhang Ying Ren 2023Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2023,6,4:0

12Multilevel regulation of N^(6)-methyladenosine RNA modifications: Implications in tumorigenesis and therapeutic opportunities显示文摘N^(6)-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)RNA modification is widely perceived as the most abundant and common modification in transcripts.This modification is dynamically regulated by specific m^(6)A“writers”,“erasers”and“readers”and is reportedly involved in the occurrence and development of many diseases.Since m^(6)A RNA modification was discovered in the 1970s,with the progress of relevant research technologies,an increasing number of functions of m^(6)A have been reported,and a preliminary understanding of m^(6)A has been obtained.In this review,we summarize the mechanisms through which m^(6)A RNA modification is regulated from the perspectives of expression,posttranslational modification and protein interaction.In addition,we also summarize how external and internal environmental factors affect m^(6)A RNA modification and its functions in tumors.The mechanisms through which m^(6)A methylases,m^(6)A demethylases and m^(6)A-binding proteins are regulated are complicated and have not been fully elucidated.Therefore,we hope to promote further research in this field by summarizing these mechanisms and look forward to the future application of m^(6)A in tumors.Lili Feng Rongrong Du Baitong Chang Min Li Jie Tian Shengjun Wang 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,5:0
