1Effect of Protein Kinase C on Proliferation and Apoptosis of T Lymphocytes in Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura Children显示文摘It is well-documented that T lymphocyte proliferation and apoptosis are abnormal in idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) children. However, the underlying regulation mechanisms especially in terms of signal transduction remain unknown. In this paper, we reported the changes of protein kinase C (PKC) activity in peripheral blood T lymphocytes and the effect of PKC on T lymphocyte proliferation and apoptosis. We demonstrated that in ITP children, the activator (PMA) and inhibitor (H-7) of PKC affected on T lymphocyte proliferation and apoptosis dramatically, but they altered little in healthy children. PKC activity was significantly enhanced in ITP children together with an increased expression of FasL on CD3+ T, CD4+ T and CD8+T cells, resulting in a positive correlation between PKC activity and the expression of FasL on T cells. While the PKC activity and the platelet count were negatively correlated. 2Lead Isotopic Steep-Dipping Zone and Mineralization—An Example from Mineral Deposits Concentrated Area in East Qinling,China显示文摘Lead isotopic geochemical steep-dipping zone usually exists on inhomogeneous boundaries of earth blocks. Its crossing with the geophysical gradient zone often convergently occurs at giant deposits. Deep structures or concealed structural planes obviously have the coupling relationship with the convergent area of mineral deposits. The geochemical steep-dipping zone is usually distributed along the boundary of ancient continental blocks. Its crossing effect with geophysical gradient zone is usually presented as depression or swell of Moho discontinuity on the crossing direction with the ancient continental margin, which would lead to form deep fractures of earth crust at block margins or lead to adjustment of earth crust texture. The deep hydrothermal liquid would rise up along the structural planes to form the convergent areas of mineral deposits. For example, Luonan- Luanchuan area in east Qinling is a typical crossed area of the geochemical steepdipping zone and geophysical gradient zone. The mineral deposit belt extends along EW direction. It was controlled by the geochemical steepdipping zone equidistantly distributed along NE direction like a string of beads controlled by a gravity gradient zone in NE direction and a mantle depression slope. Along a plunging mantle syncline on EW plunging direction, from the east to the west, checkform was distributed which controls synergic crustmantle granoporphyry rocks. 4Shear-responsive boundary-lubricated hydrogels attenuate osteoarthritis显示文摘Lipid-based boundary layers formed on liposome-containing hydrogels can facilitate lubrication.However,these boundary layers can be damaged by shear,resulting in decreased lubrication.Here,a shear-responsive boundary-lubricated drug-loaded hydrogel is created by incorporating celecoxib(CLX)-loaded liposomes within dynamic covalent bond-based hyaluronic acid(HA)hydrogels(CLX@Lipo@HA-gel).The dynamic cross-linked network enables the hydrogel to get restructured in response to shear,and the HA matrix allows the accumulation of internal liposome microreservoirs on the sliding surfaces,which results in the formation of boundary layers to provide stable lubrication.Moreover,hydration shells formed surrounding the hydrogel can retard the degradation process,thus helping in sustaining lubrication.Furthermore,in vitro and in vivo experiments found that CLX@Lipo@HA-gels can maintain anabolic-catabolic balance,alleviate cartilage wear,and attenuate osteoarthritis progression by delivering CLX and shear-responsive boundary lubrication.Overall,CLX@Lipo@HA-gels can serve as shear-responsive boundary lubricants and drug-delivery vehicles to alleviate friction-related diseases like osteoarthritis.Yiting Lei Xingkuan Wang Junyi Liao Jieliang Shen Yuling Li Zhengwei Cai Ning Hu Xiaoji Luo Wenguo Cui Wei Huang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,10:4

6Exhausted local lactate accumulation via injectable nanozyme-functionalized hydrogel microsphere for inflammation relief and tissue regeneration显示文摘Local lactate accumulation greatly hinders tissue repair and regeneration under ischemic condition.Herein,an injectable microsphere(MS@MCL)for local lactate exhaustion was constructed by grafting manganese dioxide(MnO_(2))-lactate oxidase(LOX)composite nanozyme on microfluidic hyaluronic acid methacrylate(HAMA)microspheres via chemical bonds,achieving a long-term oxygen-promoted lactate exhaustion effect and a long half-life in vivo.The uniform and porous microspheres synthesized by microfluidic technology is beneficial to in situ injection therapy and improving encapsulation efficiency.Furthermore,chemical grafting into HAMA microspheres through amide reactions promoted local enzymatic concentration and activity enhancement.It was showed that the MS@MCL eliminated oxidative and inflammatory stress and promoted extracellular matrix metabolism and cell survival when co-cultured with nucleus pulposus cells(NPCs)in vitro.In the rat degenerative intervertebral disc model caused by lactate injection,MS@MCL showed a long-term therapeutic effect in reducing intervertebral height narrowing and preventing extracellular matrix(ECM)degradation as well as inflammatory damage in vivo.Altogether,this study confirms that this nanozyme-functionalized injectable MS@MCL effectively improves the regenerative and reparative effect in ischemic tissues by disposing of enriched lactate in local microenvironment.Jieliang Shen Ao Chen Zhengwei Cai Zhijie Chen Ruichao Cao Zongchao Liu Yuling Li Jie Hao 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,6:2
7Evidence for a Dirac nodal-line semimetal in SrAs_3显示文摘Dirac nodal-line semimetals with the linear bands crossing along a line or loop, represent a new topological state of matter. Here, by carrying out magnetotransport measurements and performing first-principle calculations, we demonstrate that such a state has been realized in high-quality single crystals of SrAs_3.We obtain the nontrivial ∏ Berry phase by analysing the Shubnikov-de Haas quantum oscillations. 8Capturing dynamic biological signals via bio-mimicking hydrogel for precise remodeling of soft tissue显示文摘Soft tissue remodeling is a sophisticated process that sequentially provides dynamic biological signals to guide cell behavior.However,capturing these signals within hydrogel and directing over time has still been unrealized owing to the poor comprehension of physiological processes.Here,a bio-mimicking hydrogel is designed via thiol-ene click reaction to capture the early physical signal triggered by inflammation,and the chemical signals provided with chemokine and natural adhesion sites,which guaranteed the precise soft tissue remodeling.This bio-mimicking hydrogel efficiently facilitated cell anchoring,migration,and invasion in the 3D matrix due to the permissive space and the interaction with integrin receptors.Besides,the covalently grafted chemokine-like peptide is optimal for colonization and functional differentiation of endothelial cells through a HIF-1αdependent signal pathway.Furthermore,the early polarization of macrophages,collagen deposition and angiogenesis in rat acute wound model,and the increased blood perfusion in mouse skin flap model have confirmed that the bio-mimicking hydrogel realized precise soft tissue remodeling and opens new avenues for the phased repair of different tissues such as nerve,myocardium,and even bone.Zhengwei Cai Qimanguli Saiding Liang Cheng Liucheng Zhang Zhen Wang Fei Wang Xinliang Chen Gang Chen Lianfu Deng Wenguo Cui 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,12:2

16Interlayer gap widened TiS_(2) for highly efficient sodium-ion storage显示文摘As an alternative for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)have lately received tremendous interest due to their abundant reserves as well as low cost.Nevertheless,the lack of suitable anode materials severely hinders the application of sodium-ion batteries.TiS_(2)is elected as a representative material owing to its unique layered structure.But it always suffers from capacity fade due to poor electrochemical kinetics and structural stability.In this work,we fabricate a pre-potassiated TiS_(2)as a host material for sodium storage by an electrochemical pre-potassiation strategy.The intercalation/extraction mechanism,structural changes and reaction kinetics are completely investigated to reveal the outstanding electrochemical property of pre-potassiated TiS_(2)electrode.It turns out that the large interlayer space of pre-potassiated TiS_(2)is conducive to the diffusion of sodium ions,inducing the reduction of entropic barrier for the electrochemical reactions.In addition,the pre-potassiated host structure is still firmly maintained upon repeated cycles.Therefore,the pre-potassiated TiS_(2)presents superior rate capability(165.9 mA h g^(−1) at 1 C and 132.1 mA h g^(−1) at 20 C)and long-term cycling stability(85.3%capacity retention at 5 C after 500 cycles)for SIBs.This research provides an avenue to construct long-life sodium energy storage systems based on pre-potassiated TiS_(2).Chengcheng Huang Yiwen Liu Runtian Zheng Zhengwei Yang Zhonghao Miao Junwei Zhang Xinhao Cai Haoxiang Yu Liyuan Zhang Jie Shu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,12:1

20Model free optimization of building cooling water systems with refined action space显示文摘Deep Q Network(DQN)is an efficient model-free optimization method,and has the potential to be used in building cooling water systems.However,due to the high dimension of actions,this method requires a complex neural network.Therefore,both the required number of training samples and the length of convergence period are barriers for real application.Furthermore,penalty function based exploration may lead to unsafe actions,causing the application of this optimization method even more difficult.To solve these problems,an approach to limit the action space within a safe area is proposed in this paper.First of all,the action space for cooling towers and pumps are separated into two sub-regions.Secondly,for each type of equipment,the action space is further divided into safe and unsafe regions.As a result,the convergence speed is significantly improved.Compared with the traditional DQN method in a simulation environment validated by real data,the proposed method is able to save the convergence time by 1 episode(one cooling season).The results in this paper suggest that,the proposed DQN method can achieve a much quicker learning speed without any undesired consequences,and therefore is more suitable to be used in projects without pre-learning stage.Qiaofeng Xiong Zhengwei Li Wenxia Cai Zhechao Wang 2023Building Simulation2023,16,4:0
