1On the new results of global attractive set and positive invariant set of the Lorenz chaotic system and the applications to chaos control and synchronization显示文摘Constructing a family of generalized Lyapunov functions, a new method is proposed to obtain new global attractive set and positive invariant set of the Lorenz chaotic system. The method we proposed greatly simplifies the complex proofs of the two famous estimations presented by the Russian scholar Leonov. Our uniform formula can derive a series of the new estimations. Employing the idea of intersection in set theory, we extract a new Leonov formula-like estimation from the family of the estimations. With our method and the new estimation, one can confirm that there are no equilibrium, periodic solutions, almost periodic motions, wandering motions or other chaotic attractors outside the global attractive set. The Lorenz butterfly-like singular attractors are located in the global attractive set only. This result is applied to the chaos control and chaos synchronization. Some feedback control laws are obtained to guarantee that all the trajectories of the Lorenz systems track a periodic solution, or globally stabilize an unstable (or locally stable but not globally asymptotically stable) equilibrium. Further, some new global exponential chaos synchronization results are presented. 3Endovascular therapy for Acute ischemic Stroke Trial (EAST): study protocol for a prospective, multicentre control trial in China显示文摘Background and purpose:5 recent trials have shown the benefit of endovascular treatment for acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)due to large vessel occlusion of the anterior circulation.This study aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Solitaire thrombectomy in patients with moderate-to-severe stroke in the Chinese population,which has a high prevalence of intracranial atherosclerosis.Methods and analysis:This multicentre prospective control study will involve 17 stroke centres in China,and plans to recruit 150 patients in the intervention group,and 150 patients in the medical group,in which patients meet enrolment criteria but refuse intervention.Patients with AIS due to large vessel occlusion indicated for treatment with Solitaire stent retriever within 12 hours of symptom onset,and who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria,will be enrolled in this study.The primary efficacy endpoint is functional independence as defined by a modified Rankin Scale(mRS)score≤2 at 90 days or by functional improvement as defined by mRS,using shift analysis.The procedural efficacy endpoint is arterial recanalisation of the occluded target vessel measured by a modified Thrombolysis in Cerebral Infarction(mTICI)score equal or superior to 2b right following the use of the study device.The primary safety endpoint is symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage(sICH)within 24±3 hours postprocedure.Ethics and dissemination:The protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee at the coordinating centre and by the local Institutional Review Board of each participating centre.Trial registration number:NCT02350283.Zhongrong Miao Xiaochuan Huo Feng Gao Xiaoling Liao Chunjuan Wang Ya Peng Yibin Cao Shengli Chen Meng Zhang Changchun Jiang Xiaoxiang Peng Cunfeng Song Liping Wei Qiyi Zhu Zaiyu Guo Li Liu Hang Lin Hua Yang Wei Wu Hui Liang Anding Xu Kangning Chen Xingquan Zhao Yuesong Pan Hao Li Liping Liu Yilong Wang Yongjun Wang EAST investigators 2016Stroke & Vascular Neurology2016,1,2:8
4Globally exponentially attractive sets of the family of Lorenz systems显示文摘In this paper, the concept of globally exponentially attractive set is proposed and used to consider the ultimate bounds of the family of Lorenz systems with varying parameters. Explicit estimations of the ultimate bounds are derived. The results presented in this paper contain all the existing results as special cases. 5A modular parallelization framework for power flow transfer analysis of large-scale power systems显示文摘Power flow transfer(PFT) analysis under various anticipated faults in advance is important for securing power system operations. In China, PSD-BPA software is the most widely used tool for power system analysis, but its input/output interface is easily adapted for PFT analysis,which is also difficult due to its computationally intensity.To solve this issue, and achieve a fast and accurate PFT analysis, a modular parallelization framework is developed in this paper. Two major contributions are included. One is several integrated PFT analysis modules, including parameter initialization, fault setting, network integrity detection, reasonableness identification and result analysis.The other is a parallelization technique for enhancing computation efficiency using a Fork/Join framework. The proposed framework has been tested and validated by the IEEE 39 bus reference power system. 6Generation of transgenic cucumbers with expression of a ten-tandem repeat long-acting GLP-1 analogue and their biological function on diabetic rats显示文摘Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) is a 30-amino acid peptide hormone, which has the regulatory function of stimulating the secretion of insulin to balance blood glucose levels. In this study, marker-free expression vector pX6 with a fusion gene of ten tandem repeated GLP-1 analog ([Ser8, Gln26 and Asp34]-GLP-1) genes was constructed and transformed into cucumbers by Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation method. Four transgenic lines were obtained by PCR and Southern blotting analysis and two transgenic lines successfully expressed the fusion protein (named GLP-T), which was revealed by Western blotting analysis. The biological activity test results showed that the serum glucose level of diabetic rats was significantly decreased after oral administration of the fusion protein GLP-T extracted from the transgenic cucumber fruitage. 11Self-incompatibility Characteristics of 34 Apricot Cultivars in Xinjiang显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to explore the relationship between self-incompatibility strength and characteristics related to pollination and fertilization of different apricot varieties in Xinjiang. [Method] The pollen amount,pollen germination rate,pollen tube growth status and fruiting setting rate by self-pollination of 34 apricot cultivars in Xinjiang were determined,to analyze the self-incompatibility of different apricot cultivars. [Result] The average pollen amount per anther of 34 apricot cultivars was 1 213. 7,and the average pollen germination rate was 46. 0%. There were great differences in the self-incompatibility of different cultivars; most pollen tubes of the cultivars with high self-incompatibility stopped elongating at 1 /3 or 1 /2 part of the styles,and only a few pollen tubes of the cultivars with low self-incompatibility reached the ovary,and the normal fertilization ratio was significantly lower than that in self-compatible cultivars. [Conclusion]Among the 34 apricot cultivars,only 6 cultivars were self-compatible and the others exhibited gametophyte self-incompatibility. 12Study on Dynamic Characteristics of the Growth and Development of Armeniaca dasycarpa(Ehrh.) Borkh显示文摘[Objective]This study aimed to analyze the dynamics of growth and development of Armeniaca dasycarpa( Ehrh.) Borkh fruit,thus providing the theoretical basis for cultivation and breeding of good-quality and high-yield A. dasycarpa. [Method] With A. dasycarpa cultivar Yechengzixing as the experimental material,P. cerasifera Ehrh cultivar Huangguoyingtaoli and A. vulgaris Lam. cultivars Luopuhongdaike,Wanshujianali and Kuchetuoyong as control,the vertical diameter,horizontal diameter and fresh weight of fruit and embryos were measured every 7 d during the growth and development period. [Result] The result showed that the whole fruit growth period of Yechengzixing,lasted 93 d from the end of flowering to fruit maturity. The dynamics of fruit vertical diameter,horizontal diameter and fresh weight of Yechengzixing presented'rapid-slow-rapid'double S-shaped curves. The whole fruit growth period of Yechengzixing could be divided approximately into three stages: first rapid growth stage,slow growth stage and second rapid growth stage,which lasted 29,42 and 21 d,respectively. Daily increment of fruit vertical diameter and horizontal diameter of Yechengzixing reached the maximum at the first rapid growth stage,while daily increment of fruit fresh weight reached the maximum at the second rapid growth stage. The dynamics of vertical diameter,horizontal diameter and fresh weight of Yechengzixing embryos presented S-shaped curves. Fruit growth and development dynamics of the tested materials presented double S-shaped curves. The whole fruit growth period of Yechengzixing,Huangguoyingtaoli and three apricot cultivars lasted 93,119 and 77- 98 d,respectively. Thus,the duration of fruit growth period of Yechengzixing was 26 d shorter than that of Huangguoyingtaoli and exhibited no significant difference compared with three apricot cultivars. The duration of each growth stage and daily increment of Yechengzixing fruit had no significant difference compared with three apricot cultivars. Moreover,Huangguoyingtaoli had a longer slow growth stage and lower daily increment than Yechengzixing. 13Which fetal growth charts should be used?A retrospective observational study in China显示文摘Background:The fetal growth charts in widest use in China were published by Hadlock>35 years ago and were established on data from several hundred of American pregnant women.After that,>100 fetal growth charts were published around the world.We attempted to assess the impact of applying the long-standing Hadlock charts and other charts in a Chinese population and to compare their ability to predict newborn small for gestational age(SGA).Methods:For this retrospective observational study,we reviewed all pregnant women(n=106,455)who booked prenatal care with ultrasound measurements for fetal biometry at the Shenzhen Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital between 2012 and 2019.A fractional polynomial regression model was applied to generate Shenzhen fetal growth chart ranges for head circumference(HC),biparietal diameter(BPD),abdominal circumference(AC),and femur length(FL).The differences between Shenzhen charts and published charts were quantified by calculating the Z-score.The impact of applying these published charts was quantifed by calculating the proportions of fetuses with biometric measurements below the 3rd centile of these charts.The sensitivity and area under the receiver operating characteristic curves of published charts to predict neonatal SGA(birthweight<10th centile)were assessed..Results:Following selection,169,980 scans of fetal biometry contributed by 41,032 pregnancies with reliable gestational age were analyzed.When using Hadlock references(<3rd centile),the proportions of small heads and short femurs were as high as 8.9%and 6.6%in late gestation,respectively.The INTERGROWTH-21st standards matched those of our observed curves better than other charts,in particular for fat-free biometry(HC and FL).When using AC<10th centile,all of these references were poor at predicting neonatal SGA.Conclusions:Applying long-standing Hadlock references could misclassify a large proportion of fetuses as SGA.INTERGROWTH-21st standard appears to be a safe option in China.For fat-based biometry,AC,a reference based on the Chinese population is needed.In addition,when applying published charts,particular care should be taken due to the discrepancy of measurement methods.Jianxin Zhao Ying Yuan Jing Tao Chunyi Chen Xiaoxia Wu Yimei Liao Linlin Wu Qing Zeng Yin Chen Ke Wang Xiaohong Li Zheng Liu Jiayuan Zhou Yangwen Zhou Shengli Li Jun Zhu 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,16:0
