| 1 | RAPD Analysis of M_1 Generation of Gladiolus hybridus Hort Treated by EMS显示文摘Gladiolus hybridus Hort is one of the world's famous cutting flowers. It is very popular because of the big size, bright color, various shape, and long period of bloom. New species should be cultivated in order to meet the consumers' need of asking for the new. Among the technologies of cultivating new species of flowers, mutagenic breeding is a shortcut. This study treated corm bud of G. hybridus Hort with EMS of different consistency. Then M1 after treated was analyzed by RAPD. The result showed that EMS was a very effective mutagenic agent for the corm bud of G. hybridus Hort. With the increase of consistency, the mutagenic range increased first, then decreased, among which 0.6% EMS treatment had the biggest influence. | 2 | Cloning and Analysis of Full-Length cDNA of PumNPR1 Gene from Pyrus ussuriensis Maxim显示文摘The purpose of this study is to find a new gene resource for the researches of molecular breeding of Rosaceae plants disease-resistance.Pyrus ussuriensis Maxim is used as a starting material to clone the full-length cDNA of NPR1(nonexpressor of pathogenesis-related genes 1) which is a key regulator in SA(salicylic acid)-mediated systemic acquired resistance(SAR) by homologous cloning and RACE techniques.The length of the cDNA sequence was 1 767 bp,the ORF was 1 761 bp,it coded 586 amino acids,pI=5.58,the relative molecular weight was 65.009 ku,contained 19 kinds of amino acids,and had full BTB/POZ and ANK domains.Compared the homology of NPR1 gene in GenBank database,the homology with Pyrus pyrifolia,Arabidopsis thaliana,Nicotiana tabacum,Lycopersicon esculentum,Oryza sativa,Helianthus annuus were 98%,62%,68%,65%,57%,63%.The homology of functional area were 99%,78%,82%,79%,74%,77%.This NPR1 gene was considered as homologic gene of Pyrus ussuriensis Maxim and named PumNPR1. | CHE Daidi FAN Jinping WANG Jingang XU Ping YANG Tao LIU Shenkui | 2008 | Journal of Northeast Agricultural University(English Edition)2008,15,2: | 2 |

| 15 | Case study of a rhizosphere microbiome assay on a bamboo rhizome with excessive shoots显示文摘Young moso bamboo shoots are a popular seasonal food and an important source of income for farmers,with value for cultivation estimated at$30,000 per hectare.Bamboo also has great environmental importance and its unique physiology is of scientific interest.A rare and valuable phenomenon has recently appeared where a large number of adjacent buds within a single moso bamboo rhizome have grown into shoots.Although of practical importance for the production of edible shoots,such occurrences have not been scientifically studied,due to their rarity.Analysis of collected reports from enhanced shoot production events in China showed no evidence that enhanced shoot development was heritable.We report the analysis of the rhizosphere microbiome from a rhizome with 18 shoots,compared to rhizomes having one or no shoots as controls.The community of prokaryotes,but not fungi,correlated with the shoot number.Burkholderia was the most abundant genus,which was negatively correlated with rhizome shoot number,while Clostridia and Ktedonobacteria were positively correlated.Two Burkholderia strains were isolated and their plant-growth promoting activity was tested.The isolated Burkholderia strains attenuated the growth of bamboo seedlings.These data provide the first study on excessive shoot development in bamboo,which will facilitate hypothesis building for future studies. | Fuqiang Cui Yifan Yang Mengyuan Ye Wei Wei Wenqian Huang Ying Wu Xi Jiao Xiaoxue Ye Shutong Zhou Zhubing Hu Yinhai Zhang Renyi Gui Wenwu Wu Kim Yrjala Kirk Overmyer Shenkui Liu | 2021 | Forestry Research2021,1,1: | 0 |
