| 2 | Stable isotopes of summer monsoonal precipitation in southern China and the moisture sources evidence from δ^18O signature显示文摘Summer monsoons (South Asian monsoon,South China Sea monsoon and Sub-tropical monsoon) are prominent features of summertime climate over southern China. Dif-ferent monsoons carry different inflow moisture into China and control the temporal and spa-tial distributions of precipitation. Analyses of meteorological data,particularly wind,tempera-ture and pressure anomalies are traditional methods of characterizing moisture sources and transport patterns. Here,we try to utilize the evidence from stable isotopes signatures to trace summer monsoons over southern China. Based on seven CHNIP (Chinese Network of Iso-topes in Precipitation) observatory stations located in southern China,monthly composite precipitation samples have been collected and analyzed for the composition of δ18O during July,2005. The results indicated that the spatial distributions of δ18O in precipitation could properly portray the moisture sources together with their transport pathways. | 3 | Responses of Patients with Disorders of Consciousness to Habit Stimulation:A Quantitative EEG Study显示文摘Whether habit stimulation is effective in DOC patient arousal has not been reported. In this paper, we analyzed the responses of DOC patients to habit stimulation. Nineteen DOC patients with alcohol consumption or smoking habits were recruited and 64-channel EEG signals were acquired both at the resting state and at three stimulation states. Wavelet transformation and nonlinear dynamics were used to extract the features of EEG signals and four brain lobes were selected to investigate the degree of EEG response to habit stimulation. Results showed that the highest degree of EEG response was from the callname stimulation, followed by habit and music stimulations. Significant differences in EEG wavelet energy and response coefficient were found both between habit and music stimulation, and between habit and call-name stimulation. | 4 | Hydrothermal plume anomalies along the Central Indian Ridge显示文摘Water column turbidity and temperature were investigated along the Central Indian Ridge (CIR) from 25°19′S to 23°48′S during a December 2005 cruise on board Chinese R/V DayangYihao. Measurements were made using NOAA’s MAPR (Miniature Autonomous Plume Recorder) sensors during CTD casts, TV grabber operations, and tow-yo profiles, yielding the following results on hydrothermal plume anomalies: (1) Strong hydrothermal turbidity and temperature anomalies were recorded over the pre- viously discovered Kairei (25°19.2′S, 70°02.4′E) and Edmond (23°52.7′S, 69°35.8′E) vent fields, with the plume anomalies concentrated at depths of 2150―2300 m and 2700―2900 m, respectively. The maxi- mum height of the turbidity anomalies near the Kairei vent field recorded in December 2005 was slightly below 2100 m, which is consistent with the plume depth measured in June 2001, indicating that the Kairei plume may have maintained its buoyancy flux in the intervening 4.5 years. (2) The water column beneath the Kairei plume has background anomalies of about 0.005△NTU, whereas no such back- ground turbidity anomalies were observed below the Edmond hydrothermal plume. (3) No visible tur- bidity anomalies were detected from 24°42′S to 24°12′S including the Knorr Seamount. Thus 24°12′S marks the southern end of the hydrothermal plume. (4) Significant turbidity anomalies were observed at four individual sections from 24°12′S to 23°56′S at the depth of 2500―3000 m along the eastern rift valley wall. Whether the individual sections of anomalies are connected is still unknown due to the absence of data at the intervening gaps. | 7 | Highly Durable and Fast Response Fabric Strain Sensor for Movement Monitoring Under Extreme Conditions显示文摘The exploration of smart electronic textiles is a common goal to improve people’s quality of life.However,current smart e-textiles still face challenges such as being prone to failure under humid or cold conditions,lack of washing durability and chemical fragility.Herein,a multifunctional strain sensor with a negative resistance change was developed based on the excellent elasticity of knitted fabrics.A reduced graphene oxide(rGO)conductive fabric was first obtained by electrostatic self-assembly of chitosan(CS).Then a strain sensor was prepared using a dip-coating process to adsorb nanoscale silica dioxide and poly(dimethylsiloxane)(PDMS).A broad working range of 60%,a fast response time(22 ms)and stable cycling durability over 4000 cycles were simultaneously achieved using the prepared sensor.Furthermore,the sensor showed excel-lent superhydrophobicity,photothermal effects and UV protection,as graphene,silica and PDMS acted in synergy.This multifunctional sensor could be mounted on human joints to perform tasks,including activity monitoring,medical rehabili-tation evaluation and gesture recognition,due to its superior electromechanical capabilities.Based on its multiple superior properties,this sensor could be used as winter sportswear for athletes to track their actions without being impacted by water and as a warmer to ensure the wearer's comfort. | Dongxing Lu Shiqin Liao Yao Chu Yibing Cai Qufu Wei Kunlin Chen Qingqing Wang | 2023 | Advanced Fiber Materials2023,5,1: | 2 |
| 8 | Root distribution of three dominant desert shrubs and their water uptake dynamics显示文摘Aims Root architecture is a crucial determinant in the water use of desert shrubs.However,lack of integrated research on the root functional type and water uptake dynamic hinders our current understanding of the water-use strategies of desert species.Methods A field experiment was conducted to investigate the root functional type of three dominant desert species,Haloxylon ammodendron,Nitraria tangutorum and Calligonum mongolicum,and the dynam-ics of their root water uptake.the stem sap flow and microclimate were monitored,and the intact root systems of these shrubs were excavated in their native habitats on the oasis-desert ecotone of northwestern china during the summer of 2014.Important Findings Based on root functional type,H.ammodendron is phreatophytic,while N.tangutorum and C.mongolicum are non-phreatophytic species,which means H.ammodendron can utilize multiple potential water sources,N.tangutorum and C.mongolicum mainly utilize shallow and middle soil water.the average root water uptake rates(RWU)of H.ammodendron,N.tangutorum and C.mongolicum were 0.56(±0.12),1.18(±0.19)and 1.31(±0.30)kg m^(−2)h^(−1),respectively,during the experimental period;the contributions of night-time RWU to total water uptake amount for the corresponding species were 12.7,2.9 and 10.6%,respec-tively.the diurnal and seasonal dynamics of RWU in the three species were significantly different(P<0.05),and closely related to environmental variables,especially to photosynthetically active radiation and vapor pressure deficit.Our results suggested that the three species have distinct water-use patterns in combination with the patterns of root distribution,which may alleviate water competition during long-term water shortages.H.ammodendron appears to be more drought tolerant than the other species due to its use of multiple water sources and stable water uptake rates during growing season. | Shiqin Xu Xibin Ji Bowen Jin Jinglin Zhang | 2017 | Journal of Plant Ecology2017,10,5: | 2 |
| 9 | Microstructure Characteristics of Interaction Layer of Zn-Al Eutectic Alloy with Al_2O_3p/6061Al Composites显示文摘The interaction between Zn-Al eutectic alloy and Al2O3p/6061Al composites in the vacuum furnace was investigated. Great attention has been paid to the elements diffusion, the microstructure and formation of the interface between Zn-AI eutectic alloy and Al2O3p/6061Al composites. Experimental results show that Zn-Al eutectic alloy has a good wetting ability to Al2O3p/6061Al composites and the wetting angle decreases with increasing the temperature in vacuum. After the interaction,an interaction layer forms between Zn-AI alloy and Al2O3p/6061Al composites. The phases in the interaction layer mainly consist of α-Al(Zn), Al2O3 and CuZn5 resulted from the diffusion of elements from the Zn-Al alloy. Several porosities distribute in the region near the interface of the Zn-Al alloy/interaction layer. The amount of shrinkage voids in the interacting layer is relevant to the penetration of Zn element into Al2O3p/6061Al composites which is a function of temperature. | 10 | Diagnostic Accuracy of Three-Dimensional Whole-Heart Magnetic Resonance Angiography to Detect Coronary Artery Disease with Invasive Coronary Angiography as a Reference:A Meta-Analysis显示文摘Objective:We aimed to evaluate the diagnostic performance of three-dimensional whole-heart magnetic resonance coronary angiography(MRCA)in detecting coronary artery disease(CAD)with invasive coronary angiography as the reference standard.Methods:We searched PubMed and Embase for studies evaluating the diagnostic performance of three-dimensional whole-heart MRCA for the diagnosis of CAD with invasive coronary angiography as the reference standard.The bivariate mixed-effects regression model was applied to synthesize available data.The clinical utility of whole-heart MRCA was calculated by the posttest probability based on Bayes’s theorem.Results:Eighteen studies were included,of which 16 provided data at the artery level.Patient-based analysis revealed a pooled sensitivity of 0.90(95%confi dence interval[CI]0.87–0.93)and specifi city of 0.79(95%CI 0.73–0.84),while the pooled estimates were 0.86(95%CI 0.82–0.89)and 0.89(95%CI 0.84–0.92),respectively,at the artery level.The areas under the summary receiver operating characteristic curve were 0.93(95%CI 0.90–0.95)and 0.92(95%CI 0.90–0.94)at the patient and artery levels,respectively.With a pretest probability of 50%,the patients’posttest probabilities of CAD were 81%for positive results and 11%for negative results.Conclusions:Whole-heart MRCA can be an alternative noninvasive method for diagnosis and assessment of CAD. | Shiqin Yu Chen Cui Minjie Lu Shihua Zhao | 2020 | Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications2020,,1: | 2 |
| 11 | 中国南亚热带土壤易分解有机碳和水稳性团聚体对造林的响应显示文摘造林被认为可以提高土壤碳稳定性并促进土壤碳累积。然而,实验结果差异很大,造林在提高土壤碳稳定性方面的作用仍存在争议。因此,在森林生态系统中不同土壤碳库对造林如何响应目前尚不清楚。基于此,本文对亚热带地区的尾叶桉林(Eucalyptus urophylla)、厚荚相思林(Acacia crassicarpa)、红锥林(Castanopsis hystrix)、10树种混交林和自然恢复草坡等5种不同林型的土壤碳组分进行了研究,评估其不同土层(0–10、10–20、20–40和40–60 cm)中的土壤易分解有机碳(容易被高锰酸钾氧化的有机碳ROC和土壤可溶性有机碳DOC)及土壤团聚体相关的碳对造林的响应。实验结果表明,造林(与自然恢复草坡比较)和林型并没有显著影响土壤ROC浓度,而自然恢复草坡土壤的DOC浓度在4个土层中均最高。0–10 cm土层中各径级的土壤团聚体其碳(C)浓度均是红锥林最高。此外,在任一土层中,林型对不同径级土壤水稳性团聚体比例的影响均不显著。但是土壤深度显著改变土壤团聚体的分布,0–20 cm土层主要为>0.25 mm粒径的团聚体,20–60 cm土层则是0.053–2 mm粒径的团聚体占主导。这些结果显示造林和林型影响土壤DOC和团聚体C,而且它们相比于ROC对造林的响应更为敏感。研究发现,与自然恢复相比,人工林降低了土壤DOC浓度,暗示它可能会减少土壤C的淋溶损失。此外,红锥林能够通过物理保护提高表土层中土壤碳的稳定性。本研究为关注土壤碳汇功能时的中国南亚热带地区造林树种选择提供了有价值的信息。 | Yuanqi Chen Yu Zhang Shiqin Yu Feng Li Suping Liu Lixia Zhou Shenglei Fu | 2021 | Journal of Plant Ecology2021,14,2: | 2 |

| 14 | Bamboo-inspired cell-scale assembly for energy device applications显示文摘Rapid advances in flexible and wearable smart textiles demand low-cost,high-energy/power-density fiber-shaped supercapacitors(FSCs).The performance of FSCs is determined by the fabrication and assembly of fiber-shaped electrodes(FSEs),where an active charge-storage material is always clad around flexible charge transmission current collectors.Inspired by the tissue structure of natural bamboo,wherein parenchyma cells(PCs)that store nutrients are clad around bamboo fibers(BFs),we propose a strategy for converting bamboo cells into FSEs using conductive BFs and activated PCs as current collectors and active materials,respectively.The assembled electrode has a high specific capacitance of 1454 mF cm^(−2) at 0.64 mA cm^(−2).A solid-state FSC with a pair of bamboo-structured electrodes exhibited a substantially high energy density.Its mechanical flexibility enabled the knitting of wearable wristbands to drive ultra-small voltmeter indicators.This lightweight,low cost,and high-energy-density bamboostructured FSC could enable numerous smart textile applications. | Qiuqin Lin Runan Gao Daohao Li Yun Lu Shiqin Liu Yanglun Yu Yuxiang Huang Wenji Yu | 2022 | npj Flexible Electronics2022,6,1: | 1 |
