| 1 | Petrogenesis of the Neopro-terozoic bimodal volcanic rocks along the western margin of the Yangtze Block:New constraints from Hf isotopes and Fe/Mn ratios显示文摘High-precision major element and Hf isotope data are reported for the Neoproterozoic Suxiong volcanic rocks along the western margin of the Yangtze Block. These volcanic rocks have variable εHf(T) values and Fe/Mn ratios. The relatively primitive basalts have high Fe/Mn ratios and high Hf-Nd isotopic compositions, indicating that they were generated by partial melting of garnet clinopyroxene in mantle plume at high pressure. Thus, the Suxiong basalts are genetically related to the proposed Neoproterozoic super-plume. On the contrary, a few differentiated basalts have low Fe/Mn ratios and low Hf-Nd isotopic compositions. They are likely to experience assimilation-fractional crystallization process. The Suxiong rhyolites have consistent Hf and Nd model ages of 1.3―1.4 Ga. | 2 | On Reliability-optimized Controller Placement for Software-Defined Networks显示文摘By decoupling control plane and data plane,Software-Defined Networking(SDN) approach simplifies network management and speeds up network innovations.These benefits have led not only to prototypes,but also real SDN deployments.For wide-area SDN deployments,multiple controllers are often required,and the placement of these controllers becomes a particularly important task in the SDN context.This paper studies the problem of placing controllers in SDNs,so as to maximize the reliability of SDN control networks.We present a novel metric,called expected percentage of control path loss,to characterize the reliability of SDN control networks.We formulate the reliability-aware control placement problem,prove its NP-hardness,and examine several placement algorithms that can solve this problem.Through extensive simulations using real topologies,we show how the number of controllers and their placement influence the reliability of SDN control networks.Besides,we also found that,through strategic controller placement,the reliability of SDN control networks can be significantly improved without introducing unacceptable switch-to-controller latencies. | HU Yannan WANG Wendong GONG Xiangyang QUE Xirong CHENG Shiduan | 2014 | China Communications2014,11,2: | 25 |

| 4 | Timing of the formation of the Tianhuashan Basin in northern Wuyi as constrained by geochronology of volcanic and plutonic rocks显示文摘The Tianhuashan Basin is one of the most important volcanic basins in the northern Wuyi,southeastern China,comprising two successive volcanic units,the Daguding Formation and the overlying Ehuling Formation,along with several small associated igneous intrusions.The Lengshuikeng super-large-scale Ag-Pb-Zn deposit,which is closely related to these volcanic-intrusive rocks,is located in the northwestern part of the basin.In order to understand the basin evolution and magmatism,we determined LA-ICP-MS U-Pb zircon ages for the volcanic successions and associated intrusive rocks.U-Pb zircon dating of volcanic units yielded precise ages of 144±1 Ma for crystal tuff in the lower member of the Daguding Formation,142±1 Ma for andesite within the upper member of the Daguding Formation,140±1 Ma for tuffite of the first(i.e.,lowermost) member of the Ehuling Formation,and 137±1 Ma for rhyolitic ignimbrite within the third volcano-stratigraphic member of the Ehuling Formation.Three types of intrusive igneous rocks(quartz syenite porphyry,K-feldspar granite porphyry,and rhyolite porphyry) yielded precise weighted mean 206 Pb/238 U ages of 144±1,140±1,and 140±1 Ma,respectively,suggesting that these intrusions along with the aforementioned volcanics were all emplaced during the Early Cretaceous.In addition,the weighted mean 206 Pb/238 U ages determined on zircon from two samples of a granite porphyry intrusion,which hosts ore mineralization of the Lengshuikeng Ag-Pb-Zn deposit,are 158±1 and 157±1 Ma,indicating emplacement in the Late Jurassic.These new geochronological results for igneous rocks of the Tianhuashan Basin constrain the timing of volcanic and plutonic activity in the basin,and have important implications for our understanding the tectonic history of the region,and for identifying metallogenic types and the timing of ore deposition of the Lengshuikeng deposit. | SU HuiMin MAO JingWen HE XiRong LU Ran | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,6: | 16 |
| 5 | Additive effects of alkaline-earth metals and nickel on the performance of Co/γ-Al_2O_3 in methane catalytic partial oxidation显示文摘Nano-sized γ-alumina (γ-Al2O3) was first prepared by a precipitation method. Then, active component of cobalt and a series of alkaline- earth metal promoters or nickel (Ni) with different contents were loaded on the γ-Al2O3 support. The catalysts were characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and thermogravimetry analysis (TGA). The activity and selectivity of the catalysts in catalytic partial oxidation (CPO) of methane have been compared with Co/γ-Al2O3, and it is found that the catalytic activity, selectivity, and stability are enhanced by the addition of alkaline-earth metals and nickel. The optimal loadings of strontium (Sr) and Ni were 6 and 4 wt%, respectively. | 6 | Effects of nonionic surfactant Triton X-100 on the laccase-catalyzed conversion of bisphenol A显示文摘The laccase-catalyzed conversion of bisphenol A (BPA) in aqueous solutions was studied in the absence and presence of nonionic surfactant Triton X-100. It was found that the addition of Triton X-100 into the reaction system increased the conversion of BPA, especially near the critical micelle concentration of Triton X-100. Also it was found that the stability of laccase was greatly improved in the presence of TritonX-100. Studies on the endogenous fluorescence emission of laccase indicated that there existed an interaction between Triton X-100 and laccase, which was beneficial to folding and stabilizating of laccase. The binding of Triton X-100 to the laccase surface also mitigated the inactivation effect caused by the free radicals and polymerization products. | 10 | Effects of lanthanum on hot deformation behaviour of Mn-Cr-Mo bainitic rail steel显示文摘Effects of lanthanum(La) as micro-alloying element on the hot deformation behaviour of the high strength Mn-Cr-Mo bainitic rail steel were investigated under a range of deformation conditions. The results indicate that La increases the flow stress by 10-30 MPa through strengthening nanoscale strain induced precipitation(SIP) θ-(Fe,La)3 C during hot deformation. The hot deformation activation energy increases by 10-40 kJ/mol due to the 'Zener effect' of SIP and the dynamic recrystallization(DRX) is retarded due to the competitive behaviour between SIP and DRX. Bainite plates in the DRX domain can be refined by adding La, resulting in the improvement of hot workability.
