1Breaking the symmetry of colloidal 2D nanoplatelets:Twist induced quantum coupling显示文摘Twist provides a new degree of freedom for nanomaterial modifications,which can provide novel physical properties.Here,colloidal two-dimensional(2D)twisted CdSe nanoplatelets(NPLs)are successfully fabricated and their morphology can change from totally flat to edge-twisted,and then to middle-twisted with prolonged reaction time.By combining experiments and corresponding theoretical analyses,we have established the length-dependent relationships between the surface energy and twist,with a critical lateral dimension of 30 nm.We found that the defects formed during the synthesis process play a vital role in generating intense stress that develops a strong torsion tensor around the edges,resulting in edge-twisted and final middletwisted NPLs.Furthermore,due to the geometric asymmetry of twisted NPLs,the dissymmetry factor of single particle NPLs can reach up to 0.334.Specifically,quantum coupling occurs in middle-twisted NPLs by twisting one parent NPL into two daughter NPLs,which are structurally and electronically coupled.This work not only further deepens our understanding of the twist mechanism of 2D NPLs during colloidal synthesis,but also opens a pathway for applications using twistronics and quantum technology.Zahid Nazir Yingzhuo Lun Jialu Li Gaoling Yang Mingrui Liu Shuqi Li Gang Tang Guofeng Zhang Jiawang Hong Liantuan Xiao Haizheng Zhong 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
2Potassium thiocyanate additive for PEDOT:PSS layer to fabricate efficient tin-based perovskite solar cells显示文摘The commercialized poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)is usually used as hole transport layers(HTLs)in tin-based perovskite solar cells(TPSCs).However,the further development has been restricted due to the acidity that could damage the stability of TPSCs.Although the PEDOT:PSS solution can be diluted by water to decrease acidity and reduce the cost of device fabrication,the electrical conductivity will decrease obviously in diluted PEDOT:PSS solution.Herein,potassium thiocyanate(KSCN)is selected to regulate the properties of PEDOT:PSS HTLs from the diluted PEDOT:PSS aqueous solution by water with a volume ratio of 1:1 to prepare efficient TPSCs.The effect of KSCN addition on the structure and photoelectrical properties of PEDOT:PSS HTLs and TPSCs have been systematically studied.At the optimal KSCN concentration,the TPSCs based on KSCN-doped PEDOT:PSS HTLs(KSCN-PSCs)demonstrate the champion power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 8.39%,while the reference TPSCs only show a champioan PCE of 6.70%.The further analysis demonstrates that the KSCN additive increases the electrical conductivity of HTLs prepared by the diluted PEDOT:PSS solution,improves the microstructure of perovskite film,and inhibits carrier recombination in TPSCs,leading to the reduced hysteresis effect and enhanced PCE in KSCN-PSCs.This work gives a low-cost and practical strategy to develop a high-quality PEDOT:PSS HTLs from diluted PEDOT:PSS aqueous solution for efficient TPSCs.Xu Zhao Shoudeng Zhong Shuqi Wang Shaozhen Li Sujuan Wu 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,12:0
3Inhibiting liquid permeation into silicone rubber by superhydrophobic coating for prolonged service life显示文摘Liquid permeation into silicone rubber(SR)may lead to the degradation or complete failure of the composite insulators.Aiming to inhibit liquid permeation,two kinds of superhydrophobic coatings are applied to the SR surface.The liquid permeation properties of SR with different types of liquids are investigated,and the Langmuir diffusion model is applied to analyse the experimental data.The results show that the composite superhydrophobic coating can effectively inhibit liquid permeation by reducing the contact area between the surface and liquid,and the stable structure of the composite coating can maintain the performance after the liquid permeation and effusion.However,the nano‐particle coating without the polymer binder experiences severe performance degradation during the immersion test,and it cannot restrain the liquid permeation anymore after it loses the superhydrophobicity.As a validation of the effective protection,the insulation resistivity change was measured.The resistivity decreases sharply for the pristine SR after water permeation;however,the decrease is much smaller for the coated SR.The current study not only provides new insight into the liquid permeation properties of SR with different surface wettability but also suggests an effective measure to prevent liquid permeation into SR.Shuming Liu Ying Zhou Zhou Zuo Shuqi Liu Qian Wang Zhong Chen Xidong Liang 2023High Voltage2023,8,5:0
4Cloning and Sequence Analysis of Light Variable Region Gene of Anti-human Retinoblastoma Monoclonal Antibody显示文摘Purpose: To clone the variable region gene of light chain of monoclonal antibody against human retinoblastoma and to analyze the characterization of its nucleotide sequence as well as amino acid sequence.Methods: Total RNA was extracted from 3C6 hybridoma cells secreting specific monoclonal antibody(McAb)against human retinoblastoma(RB), then transcripted reversely into cDNA with olig-dT primers.The variable region of the light chain (VL) gene fragments was amplified using polymeerase chain reaction(PCR) and further cloned into pGEM(R) -T Easy vector. Then, 3C6 VL cDNA was sequenced by Sanger's method.Homologous analysis was done by NCBI BLAST.Results: The complete nucleotide sequence of 3C6 VL cDNA consisted of 321 bp encoding 107 amino acid residues, containing four workframe regions(FRs)and three complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) as well as the typical structure of two cys residues. The sequence is most homological to a member of the Vk9 gene family, and its chain utilizes the Jkl gene segment.Conclusion: The light chain variable region gene of the McAb against human RB was amplified successfully , which belongs to the Vk9 gene family and utilizes Vk-Jk1 gene rearrangement. 5Study on the catalytic degradation of sodium lignosulfonate to aromatic aldehydes over nano-CuO:Process optimization and reaction kinetics显示文摘As one of the few renewable aromatic resources,the research of depolymerization of lignin into highvalue chemicals has attracted extensive attention in recent years.Catalytic wet aerobic oxidation(CWAO)is an effective technology to convert lignin like sodium lignosulfonate(SL),a lignin derivative,into aromatic aldehydes such as vanillin and syringaldehyde.However,how to improve the yield of aromatic aldehyde and conversion efficiency is still a challenge,and many operating conditions that significantly affect the yield of these aromatic compounds have rarely been investigated systematically.In this work,we adopted the stirred tank reactor(STR)for the CWAO process with nano-CuO as catalyst to achieve the conversion of SL into vanillin and syringaldehyde.The effect of operating conditions including reaction time,oxygen partial pressure,reaction temperature,SL concentration,rotational speed,catalyst amount,and NaOH concentration on the yield of single phenolic compound was systematically investigated.The results revealed that all these operating conditions exhibit a significant effect on the aromatic aldehyde yield.Therefore,they should be regulated in an optimal value to obtain high yield of these aldehydes.More importantly,the reaction kinetics of the lignin oxidation was explored.This work could provide basic data for the optimization and design of industrial operation of lignin oxidation.Yingjie Song Shuqi Zhong Yingjiao Li Kun Dong Yong Luo Guangwen Chu Haikui Zou Baochang Sun 2023Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,53,1:0

8The m^(6)A regulator KIAA1429 stabilizes RAB27B mRNA and promotes the progression of chronic myeloid leukemia and resistance to targeted therapy显示文摘Chronic myeloid leukemia(CML)is a common adult leukemia.Both the acute phase of the disease and the adverse effects of anti-cancer treatments can lead to a poor prognosis.The N6-methyladenine(m^(6)A)modification plays an important regulatory role in various physiological and pathological processes.KIAA1429 is a known m^(6)A regulator,but the biological role of KIAA1429 in CML is unclear.In this study,we observed that the m^(6)A levels and KIAA1429 expression were significantly up-regulated in patients with blast phase CML.Notably,KIAA1429 regulated the total level of RNA m^(6)A modification in the CML cells and promoted the malignant biological behaviors of CML cells,including proliferation,migration,and imatinib resistance.Inhibiting KIAA1429 in CML cells reduced the stability of RAB27B mRNA through the m^(6)A/YTHDF1 axis,consequently inhibiting CML proliferation and drug efflux,ultimately increasing the sensitivity of CML cells to imatinib.Moreover,the knockdown of RAB27B also inhibited the proliferation and drug resistance of CML cells and promoted their apoptosis.Rucaparib,a recently developed anti-cancer agent,suppressed the expression of KIAA1429 and CML cell proliferation and promoted cell apoptosis.Rucaparib also inhibited the tumorigenesis of CML cells in vivo.The combined use of rucaparib and imatinib enhanced the sensitivity of CML cells to imatinib.Our study provides evidence that elevated KIAA1429 expression in the blast phase of CML enhances the stability of RAB27B mRNA through the m^(6)A/YTHDF1 axis to up-regulate RAB27B expression,thereby promoting CML progression.Rucaparib exerts inhibitory effects on KIAA1429 expression and thus reduces CML progression.Fangyi Yao Fangmin Zhong Junyao Jiang Ying Cheng Shuai Xu Jing Liu Jin Lin Jing Zhang Shuqi Li Meiyong Li Yanmei Xu Bo Huang Xiaozhong Wang 2024Genes & Diseases2024,11,2:0
