| 1 | Simulation and Experimental Investigation of Jetting Penetrator Charge at Large Stand-off Distance显示文摘In order to study and apply the penetration performance of jetting penetrator charge at long stand-off distance, three jetting penetrator charges(JPC), including spherical cone liner, truncated wide-angle liner and spherical segment liner, are designed. The numerical simulation analysis of the formation, elongation and penetration processes of rod-like jet is conducted by using LS-DYNA software. And the penetrating test is carried out at long stand-off distance. The test results show that the rod-like jet formed by the optimized spherical segment liner can pierce through a 90mm thick 45# steel target at 20 charge diameters(CD) stand-off distance when the charge detonation mode is a central point initiation, and the penetration depth can be up to 1.6CD. | 2 | Dynamic blood single-cell immune responses in patients with COVID-19显示文摘The 2019 coronavirus disease(COVID-19)outbreak caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus is an ongoing global health emergency.However,the virus'pathogenesis remains unclear,and there is no cure for the disease.We investigated the dynamic changes of blood immune response in patients with COVID-19 at different stages by using 5'gene expression,T cell receptor(TCR),and B cell receptors(BCR)V(D)J transcriptome analysis at a single-cell resolution.We obtained single-cell mRNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)data of 341,420 peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)and 185,430 donotypic T cells and 28,802 donotypic B cells from 25 samples of 16 patients with COVID-19 for dynamic studies.In addition,we used three control samples.We found expansion of dendritic cells(DCs),CD14+monocytes,and megakaryocytes progenitor cells(MP)/platelets and a reduction of naive CD4+T lymphocytes in patients with COVID-19,along with a significant decrease of CD8+T lymphocytes,and natural killer cells(NKs)in patients in critical condition.The type I interferon(IFN-I),mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),and ferroptosis pathways were activated while the disease was active,and recovered gradually after patient conditions improved.Consistent with this finding,the mRNA level of IFN-I signal-induced gene IFI27 was significantly increased in patients with COVID-19 compared with that of the controls in a validation cohort that included 38 patients and 35 controls.The concentration of interferon-a(IFN-a)in the serum of patients with COVID-19 increased significantly compared with that of the controls in an additional cohort of 215 patients with COVID-19 and 106 controls,further suggesting the important role of the IFN-I pathway in the immune response of COVID-19.TCR and BCR sequences analyses indicated that patients with COVID-19 developed specific immune responses against SARS-CoV-2 antigens.Our study reveals a dynamic landscape of human blood immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 infection,providing clues for therapeutic potentials in treating COVID-19. | Lulin Huang Yi Shi Bo Gong Li Jiang Zhixin Zhang Xiaoqi Liu Jialiang Yang Yongquan He Zhilin Jiang Ling Zhong Juan Tang Chunfang You Qi Jiang Bo Long Tao Zeng Mei Luo Fanwei Zeng Fanxin Zeng Shuqiang Wang Xingxiang Yang Zhenglin Yang | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,4: | 4 |

| 7 | 3D skeleton nanostructured Ni_3S_2/Ni foam@RGO composite anode for high-performance dual-ion battery显示文摘The growing global demands of safe, low-cost and high working voltage energy storage devices trigger strong interests in novel battery concepts beyond state-of-art lithium-ion battery. Herein, a dualion battery based on nanostructured Ni_3S_2/Ni foam@RGO(NSNR) composite anode is developed, utilizing graphite as cathode material and LiPF6-VC-based solvent as electrolyte. The battery operates at high working voltage of 4.2–4.5 V, with superior discharge capacity of ~90 m A h g^(-1) at 100 mA g^(-1), outstanding rate performance, and long-term cycling stability over 500 cycles with discharge capacity retention of ~85.6%. Moreover, the composite simultaneously acts as the anode material and the current collector, and the corrosion phenomenon can be greatly reduced compared to metallic Al anode. | 9 | Enhanced electrodeposition and separation of metallic Cr from soluble K2CrO4 on a liquid Zn cathode显示文摘Carbon contamination and the formation of low-valence oxides limit the preparation of refractory metals by molten salt electrolysis.In this paper,a liquid Zn cathode is adopted for the electrochemical reduction of soluble K2CrO4 to metallic Cr in CaCl2-KCl molten salt.It is found that CrO4^2-can be directly electrochemically reduced to Cr via a six-electron-transfer step and low-valence Cr oxides is hardly produced.The reduction rate is obviously increased from 16.7 mgCrh^-1cm^-2 on the solid Mo cathode to58.7 mgCrh-1cm-2on liquid Zn cathode.The electrodeposited Cr is distributed in liquid Zn cathode.Carbon contamination is effectively avoided due to the negligible solubility of carbon in the liquid Zn cathode.Furthermore,Cr can be effectively separated and enriched to the bottom of liquid Zn under supergravity field,realizing the efficient acquisition of metallic Cr and recycling of liquid Zn.The method herein provides a promising route for the preparation of refractory metals with high-purity by molten salt electrolysis. | Wei Weng Zhi Wang Zhancheng Guo Shuqiang Jiao Mingyong Wang | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,1: | 2 |

| 17 | Effects of Plant Spacing,Row Spacing and Seedling Number Allocation on the Growth Dynamics of Different Populations of Two Types of Rice Varieties显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to construct high-yielding,high-quality,and high-light-efficiency population structures of different types of rice varieties.[Methods]The effects of plant spacing,row spacing and seedling number allocation on stems and tillers,leaf area and dynamic traits of high-yielding rice populations(more than 9750 kg/hm^(2))and low-yielding populations(less than 9750 kg/hm^(2))were studied by two kinds of representative rice varieties with different tiller ability and panicle sizes in cold regions.[Results]Decreasing the plant and row spacing and increasing the number of planted seedlings per hole advanced the heading date and made the number of stems and tillers in the population increase.The impact on the super rice variety with fewer tillers and heavier panicles was greater than that of conventional variety with more tillers and lighter panicles.The stems and tillers of the high-yielding high-quality populations grew steadily in the early stage of development,until an appropriate number of panicles was reached at the critical leaf age for productive tillers(June 25),and the peak seedlings should appear in the jointing stage(July 9)with a small number(that value of Longjing 21,the super rice variety with fewer tillers and heavier panicles,was about 1.2 times the expected panicle number,and that of the conventional variety with more tillers and lighter panicles,Kongyu 131,was about 1.1 times the expected panicle number).The populations gradually declined since then,until reaching an appropriate number of panicles at the heading stage.The high-yielding high-quality populations had a higher leaf area index at the heading stage.The value of Longjing 21,the super rice variety with fewer tiller and heavier panicles,reached about 6.0,and that of Kongyu 131,the conventional variety with more tillers and lighter panicles,reached about 4.5.The values decreased thereafter.At the maturation stage,the leaf area index of Longjing 21 remained above 2.5,and that of Kongyu 131 remained above 2.0.[Conclusions]This study has an important guiding role and significance for their high-yielding and high-quality supporting cultivation in cold regions. | Jingfang XUE Guangshan ZHAO Shuqiang CHEN Xiaodong DU Limin YANG Haixin ZHAO Yongsheng CAI Tong ZHOU Linan WANG Mingxu ZHOU | 2021 | Agricultural Biotechnology2021,10,2: | 1 |
| 18 | Al homogeneous deposition induced by N-containing functional groups for enhanced cycling stability of Al-ion battery negative electrode显示文摘Rechargeable Al-ion batteries(AIBs)are considered as one of the most fascinating energy storage systems due to abundant Al resource and low cost.However,the cycling stability is subjected to critical problems for using Al foil as negative electrode,including Al dendrites,corrosion and pulverization.For addressing these problems,here a lightweight self-supporting N-doped carbon rod array(NCRA)is demonstrated for a long-life negative electrode in AIBs.Experimental analysis and first-principle calculations reveal the storage mechanism involving the induced deposition of N-containing function groups to Al as well as the ideal skeleton of the NCRA matrix for Al plating/stripping,which is favorable for regulating Al nucleation and suppressing dendrites growth.Compared with the Al foil,the NCRA exhibits lower areal mass density(∼72%of Al foil),smaller thickness(40%of Al foil),but much longer cycle life(>4 times of Al foil).Benefiting from the remarkable stability of the array structure,symmetric cells show excellent cycling stability with small voltage hysteresis(∼80 mV)and meanwhile there are no corrosion and pulverization problems even after cycled for 120 hours.Besides,full cells also manifest long lifespan(1,500 cycles)and increased Coulombic efficiency(100±1%). | Handong Jiao Shuqiang Jiao Wei-Li Song Xiang Xiao Dongmei She Na Li Haosen Chen Jiguo Tu Mingyong Wang Daining Fang | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,3: | 1 |
