2Responses of plant community to the linkages in plant-soil C:N:P stoichiometry during secondary succession of abandoned farmlands,China显示文摘Succession is one of the central themes of ecology;however,the relationship between aboveground plant communities and underground soils during secondary succession remains unclear.In this study,we investigated the composition of plant community,plant-soil C:N:P stoichiometry and their relationships during secondary succession after the abandonment of farmlands for 0,10,20,30,40 and 50 a in China,2016.Results showed that the composition of plant communities was most diverse in the farmlands after secondary succession for 20 and 50 a.Soil organic carbon and total nitrogen contents slightly decreased after secondary succession for 30 a,but both were significantly higher than those of control farmland(31.21%-139.10%and 24.24%-121.21%,respectively).Moreover,C:N ratios of soil and microbe greatly contributed to the changes in plant community composition during secondary succession of abandoned farmlands,explaining 35.70%of the total variation.Particularly,soil C:N ratio was significantly and positively related with the Shannon-Wiener index.This study provides the evidence of synchronous evolution between plant community and soil during secondary succession and C:N ratio is an important linkage between them.LIU Weichao FU Shuyue YAN Shengji REN Chengjie WU Shaojun DENG Jian LI Boyong HAN Xinhui YANG Gaihe 2020Journal of Arid Land2020,12,2:5
3Exosomes in cancer immunoediting and immunotherapy显示文摘As an important means of communication among cells,exosomes are being studied more and more widely,especially in the context of cancer immunotherapy.In the phase of tumor immunoediting,exosomes derived from tumor cells and different immune cells have complex and changeable physiological functions,because they carry different proteins and nucleic acid from the source cells.Based on the role of exosomes in the communication between different cells,cancer treatment methods are also under continuous research.This review briefly introduces the molecular composition of exosomes,which is closely related to their secretion mechanism.Subsequently,the role of exosomes encapsulating different information molecules is summarized.The role of exosomes in the three phases of tumor immunoediting is introduced in detail,and the relevant literature of exosomes in the tumor immunemicroenvironment is summarized by using a novel framework for extracting relevant documents.Finally,it summarizes the various exosome-based immunotherapies currently proposed,as well as the challenges and future prospects of exosomes in tumor immunotherapy.Yarong Zhao Luotong Liu Rongze Sun Guilin Cui Shuyu Guo Songren Han Ziwei Li Tian Bai Lesheng Teng 2022Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2022,17,2:1

8Identification of heptapeptides targeting a lethal bacterial strain in septic mice through an integrative approach显示文摘Effectively killing pathogenic bacteria is key for the treatment of sepsis.Although various anti-infective drugs have been used for the treatment of sepsis,the therapeutic effect is largely limited by the lack of a specific bacterium-targeting delivery system.This study aimed to develop antibacterial peptides that specifically target pathogenic bacteria for the treatment of sepsis.The lethal bacterial strain Escherichia coli MSI001 was isolated from mice of a cecal ligation and puncture(CLP)model and was used as a target to screen bacterial binding heptapeptides through an integrative bioinformatics approach based on phage display technology and high-throughput sequencing(HTS).Heptapeptides binding to E.coli MSI001 with high affinity were acquired after normalization by the heptapeptide frequency of the library.A representative heptapeptide VTKLGSL(VTK)was selected for fusion with the antibacterial peptide LL-37 to construct the specific-targeting antibacterial peptide VTK-LL37.We found that,in comparison with LL37,VTK-LL37 showed prominent bacteriostatic activity and an inhibitive effect on biofilm formation in vitro.In vivo experiments demonstrated that VTK-LL37 significantly inhibited bacterial growth,reduced HMGB1 expression,alleviated lesions of vital organs and improved the survival of mice subjected to CLP modeling.Furthermore,membrane DEGP and DEGQ were identified as VTKbinding proteins by proteomic methods.This study provides a novel strategy for targeted pathogen killing,which is helpful for the treatment of sepsis in the era of precise medicine.Xiaoyan Zhang Shan Li Haihua Luo Shuyue He Huangda Yang Lei Li Tian Tian Qizheng Han Jiacong Ye Chenyang Huang Aihua Liu Yong Jiang 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,8:0
9Cloning,Sequencing and Analysis of DDX3Y Gene in Five Male Equus Animals显示文摘[Objective] This study analyzed the differences in DDX3 Y gene sequences among male horse,male donkey,male mule,male hinny and male foal to investigate the relationship between DDX3 Y gene structure and the mechanism of infertility in male Equus ferus × asinus. [Method] Partial sequences of DDX3 Y gene in male horse,male donkey,male mule,male hinny and male foal were obtained by genome comparison,sequencing and cloning,and compared by bioinformatics methods. [Result] The CDS regions varied in 5 base pairs and two amino acids. DDX3 Y protein was predicted to be an unstable protein. In addition,the results also showed that DDX3 Y gene in male horse displayed a closer phylogenetic relationship to male mule and male foal; DDX3 Y gene in male donkey displayed a closer phylogenetic relationship to male hinny.
