1Global correlation for strontium isotope curve in the Late Cretaceous of Tibet and dating marine sediments显示文摘87Sr/86Sr ratios of marine carbonate samples collected from a sedimentary section of the Late Cretaceous in the south of Tibet were measured. Based on the absence of cathodoluminescence and a very low Mn/Sr ratio (average 0.06) of the samples, it is thought that they contain information on the original seawater strontium isotope composition. The strontium isotope evolution curve of the Late Cretaceous in Tibet we established here, is consistent with other coeval curves from Europe, North America and Antarctica, supports the notion that the strontium isotope composition of seawater is governed by global events, which provides a new approach for the inter-continental and inter-basinal correlations of Late Cretaceous in the area and is a complementarity for biostratigraphy. In addition, we attempt to determine the age of the boundaries for Campanian/Santonian and Maastrichtian/Campanian by 87Sr/86Sr ratios for Gamba section in southern Tibet. 2Geochemical characteristics of the Permian Changxing Formation reef dolomites,northeastern Sichuan Basin,China显示文摘The recent discovery of deep and ultra-deep gas reservoirs in the Permian Changxing Formation reefs, northeastern Sichuan Basin is a significant development in marine carbonate oil & gas exploration in China. Reef dolomites and their origins have been major research topics for sedimentologists and oil & gas geologists. The petrography, trace element and isotope geochemistry of the reef dolomites indicated that the dolomites are characterized by low Sr and Mn contents, relatively low Fe contents, very similar δ 13 C and δ 18 O values and very different 87 Sr/ 86 Sr ratios. Although the calculated results of the fluid mixing suggested that a mixture with 85%-95% meteoric water and 5%-15% seawater seemed to be the dolomitizing fluids of the reef dolomites, the low Mn contents, relatively low Fe contents, high δ 13 C values and high homogenization temperatures of the dolomites did not support that there were large proportions of meteoric water in the dolomitization process, and the 87 Sr/ 86 Sr ratios which were close to coeval seawater also did not support the possibility of the mixture of deep-burial circulated fluids from clastic rocks. 3Carbon isotope composition and comparison of Lower Triassic marine carbonate rocks from Southern Longmenxia section in Guang'an, Sichuan Basin显示文摘The Early Triassic was a period of ecological restoration for the earth's system after the end-Permian mass extinction.Geochemical records linked to the variations in marine ecosystems during this period have attracted the interest of geologists for many years.Based on petrographic analysis of samples and evaluations of their reliability as proxies for original seawater,this study investigated the carbon and oxygen isotopic compositions of 350 carbonate rock samples from the Lower Triassic(and adjacent strata)in the southern Longmenxia section of Guang'an,eastern Sichuan Basin.The results indicate that the Triassic carbonate rocks from the southern Longmenxia section favorably preserved the original seawater'sδ^(13)C signal.Furthermore,carbon and oxygen isotopic compositions are found to be poorly correlated,with a determination coefficient as low as 0.0205 and only 44 rock samples show results of Mn/Sr>2 and/orδ^(18)0<-6.5‰.The complete carbon isotopic curve for the Lower Triassic is established using the data from the remaining 306 samples with Mn/Sr<2 and/orδ^(18)O>-6.5‰.This curve presents favorable comparability on a global scale,specifically in theδ^(13)C minima near the Permian-Triassic boundary,at the top of the Jia1 and within the the Jia3,as well as in theδ^(13)C maxima at the tops of the Ye1 and Ye4,at the base of the Jia2 and at the top of the Ye3.The peaks and troughs corresponding to these maxima and minima all reflect global signals.By comparing these results to previous research on coeval carbon isotopic curves established within the chronostratigraphic framework,the ages of these critical evolution points are determined.The results show that the Ye1 roughly corresponds to the Griesbachian substage;the Ye2 through Ye4 correspond to the Dienerian substage;Jial corresponds to the Smithian substage;from the Jia2 to the lower part of the Jia4 correspond to the Spathian substage;and the middle and upper parts of the Jia4 belongs to the Aegean Substage of the Middle Triassic.Around the boundary between the Jial and Jia2(which represents the Smithian-Spathian boundary(SSB)),the value ofδ^(13)C increases rapidly from-0.911‰to 3.679‰.The span during which the seawater's carbon isotope experiences this drastic change may be less than36 kyr.The oxygen isotope,which is more sensitive to sedimentary environmental changes,exhibits changes prior to the carbon isotope near the SSB,indicating a significant increase in the salinity of the seawater before a sharp rise in the carbon isotope;this event leads to the formation of evaporites and dolomites.HUANG SiJing HUANG KeKe ZHONG YiJiang LI XiaoNing MAO XiaoDong HU ZuoWei LIU SiBing ZHANG Meng WU WenHui 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,1:4
4Engineering Geological Study of the Active Tectonic Region for Hydropower Development on the Jinsha River,Upstream of the Yangtze River显示文摘The Jinsha River runs across the Hengduanshan north-south tectonic zone where neotectonism was relatively strong, accompanied by various geologic hazards. In this case, it seems necessary to make a quantitative assessment and grading of the engineering geological environment for the planning and development of hydropower projects on the Jinsha River.The studies of crustal structures and activities of neotectonic fault blocks provide a three-dimensional geomechan-ics model for us to make an assessment of the engineering geological environment. Based on the survey data and results from geologic hazard risk analysis, a hierarchical analysis model on the quality of the engineering geological environment is established with respect to the crustal stability, ground stability, and rock and soil mass stability. Nine factors relevant to the geological environment are selected and five levels are used for the quality grades: very bad, bad, mediocre, good, very good. 6Multi-objective optimization of environmental tax for mitigating air pollution and greenhouse gas显示文摘Government macro-control through various policies is an important way to mitigate air pollution and greenhouse gases.Therefore,environmental tax is used worldwide as an important measure.However,few studies have considered the interaction between carbon and environmental protection taxes.Additionally,different sectors differ in their energy structure,pollution emission intensity,and economic status,and previous studies rarely proposed differentiated environmental tax rates based at the sectoral level.A model framework combining the computable general equilibrium(CGE)model and Bayesian optimization(BO)algorithm is proposed to maximize GDP,meet environmental planning objectives,and explore the optimal environmental taxation scheme to realize the multi-objective optimization of the economy and environment.Meanwhile,this study compares the different impact mechanisms of environmental protection tax and carbon tax.It discusses the impacts of differentiated environmental tax rates in different sectors on the environment and economy.For example,the results show that the coordinated implementation of environmental protection and carbon tax policies and the sectoral differentiated environmental tax rates in China could better balance economic development and environmental governance.Additionally,the optimal taxation scheme could mitigate air pollution and greenhouse gases,promote economic growth,and realize sustainable economic and environmental development.Furthermore,the optimized taxation scheme positively affects the energy and industrial structures.Sijing Li Ning Jia Zhenni Chen Huibin Du Zengkai Zhang Bomin Bian 2022Journal of Management Science and Engineering2022,7,3:1

9An Analysis on Decentralized Adaptive MAC Protocols for Cognitive Radio Networks显示文摘The scarcity of bandwidth in the radio spectrum has become more vital since the demand for more and more wireless applications has increased. Most of the spectrum bands have been allocated although many studies have shown that these bands are significantly underutilized most of the time. The problem of unavailability of spectrum and inefficiency in its utilization has been smartly addressed by the cognitive radio (CR) technology which is an opportunistic network that senses the environment, observes the network changes, and then uses knowledge gained from the prior interaction with the network to make intelligent decisions by dynamically adapting their transmission characteristics. In this paper, some of the decentralized adaptive medium access control (MAC) protocols for CR networks have been critically analyzed, and a novel adaptive MAC protocol for CR networks, decentralized non-global MAC (DNG-MAC), has been proposed. 10Nystose attenuates bone loss and promotes BMSCs differentiation to osteoblasts through BMP and Wnt/β-catenin pathway in ovariectomized mice显示文摘Increasing the osteogenic differentiation ability and decreasing the adipogenic differentiation ability of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)is a potential strategy for the treatment of osteoporosis(OP).Naturally derived oligosaccharides have shown significant anti-osteoporotic effects.Nystose(NST),an oligosaccharide,was isolated from the roots of Morinda officinalis How.(MO).The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of NST on bone loss in ovariectomized mice,and explore the underlying mechanism of NST in promoting differentiation of BMSCs to osteoblasts.Administration of NST(40,80 and 160 mg/kg)and the positive control of estradiol valerate(0.2 mg/kg)for 8 weeks significantly prevented bone loss induced by ovariectomy(OVX),increased the bone mass density(BMD),improved the bone microarchitecture and reduced urine calcium and deoxypyridinoline(DPD)in ovariectomized mice,while inhibited the increase of body weight without significantly affecting the uterus weight.Furthermore,we found that NST increased osteogenic differentiation,inhibited adipogenic differentiation of BMSCs in vitro,and upregulated the expression of the key proteins of BMP and Wnt/β-catenin pathways.In addition,Noggin and Dickkopf-related protein-1(DKK-1)reversed the effect of NST on osteogenic differentiation and expression of the key proteins in BMP and Wnt/β-catenin pathway.The luciferase activities and the molecular docking analysis further supported the mechanism of NST.In conclusion,these results indicating that NST can be clinically used as a potential alternative medicine for the prevention and treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis.Qi Zhang Sijing Hu Jianjun Wu Peng Sun Quanlong Zhang Yang Wang Qiming Zhao Ting Han Luping Qin Qiaoyan Zhang 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,2:1

15Experimental study of C-band microwave scattering characteristics during the emulsification process of oil spills显示文摘In this study,oil spill experiments were performed in a water tank to determine changes in the surface scattering characteristics during the emulsification of oil spills.A C-band fully-polarimetric microwave scatterometer and a vector network analyzer were used to observe films of the following oils:crude oil with an asphalt content below3%that is prone to emulsification(type A),fresh crude oil extracted from an oilfield(type B),and industrial crude oil that was dehydrated and purified(type C).The difference in the backscatter results between the emulsified oil film and the calm water surface under C-band microwaves and the influence of the emulsification of the oil film on the backscatter were analyzed in detail.The results demonstrate that under a low-wind and no-waves condition(the maximum wave height was below than 3 mm),the emulsification of crude oil could modulated the backscatter through changes in the surface roughness and the dielectric constant,where the surface roughness had the dominant effect.The surface backscatters of the type B oil were greater than that of the type C oil in both the emulsified and non-emulsified states.In the non-emulsified state,the average differences in the backscatter between the type B and C oils were 2.19 dB,2.63 dB,and 2.21 dB for the polarization modes of VV,HH,and HV/VH,respectively.Smaller corresponding average differences of 0.98 dB,1.49 dB,and 1.5 dB were found for the emulsified state with a 20%moisture constant for the oil film.The results demonstrated that the surface roughness of the different oil films could vary due to the differences in the oil compositions and the oil film properties,which in turn affect the backscatter of the oil film surface.Sijing Shu Junmin Meng Xi Zhang Jie Guo Genwang Liu 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,7:0
16Removing microplastics from aquatic environments:A critical review显示文摘As one of the typical emerging contaminants,microplastics exist widely in the environment because of their small size and recalcitrance,which has caused various ecological problems.This paper summarizes current adsorption and removal technologies of microplastics in typical aquatic environments,including natural freshwater,marine,drinking water treatment plants(DWTPs),and wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs),and includes abiotic and biotic degradation technologies as one of the removal technologies.Recently,numerous studies have shown that enrichment technologies have been widely used to remove microplastics in natural freshwater environments,DWTPs,and WWTPs.Efficient removal of microplastics via WWTPs is critical to reduce the release to the natural environment as a key connection point to prevent the transfer of microplastics from society to natural water systems.Photocatalytic technology has outstanding pre-degradation effects on microplastics,and the isolated microbial strains or enriched communities can degrade up to 50%or more of pre-processed microplastics.Thus,more research focusing on microplastic degradation could be carried out by combining physical and chemical pretreatment with subsequent microbial biodegradation.In addition,the current recovery technologies of microplastics are introduced in this review.This is incredibly challenging because of the small size and dispersibility of microplastics,and the related technologies still need further development.This paper will provide theoretical support and advice for preventing and controlling the ecological risks mediated by microplastics in the aquatic environment and share recommendations for future research on the removal and recovery of microplastics in various aquatic environments,including natural aquatic environments,DWTPs,and WWTPs.Yusheng Pan Shu-Hong Gao Chang Ge Qun Gao Sijing Huang Yuanyuan Kang Gaoyang Luo Ziqi Zhang Lu Fan Yongming Zhu Ai-Jie Wang 2023Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2023,,1:0

19Decorating hole transport material with −CF_(3) groups for highly efficient and stable perovskite solar cells显示文摘The hole transport material (HTM) plays an extremely important role to determine the power conversion efficiency (PCE) and the stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, we report an effective strategy to improve the performance of HTMs by introducing −CF_(3) groups via the rational decorative mode. Upon direct attachment or nonconjugated alkoxyl bridging of −CF_(3) groups on the terminal diphenylamines, the resulting molecular HTMs, i.e., 2,7-BCzA4CF_(3) and 2,7-BCzA4OCCF_(3), show distinct properties. Compared with 2,7-BCzA4CF_(3), the nonconjugated alkoxyl bridging −CF_(3) group-based 2,7-BCzA4OCCF_(3) exhibits better thermal stability, hydrophobicity, and a dramatically upgraded hole mobility by 135.7-fold of magnitude to 1.71 × 10^(−4) cm^(2) V^(−1) S^(−1). The PSCs with 2,7-BCzA4OCCF_(3) as HTM exhibit an PCE of up to 20.53% and excellent long-term stability, maintaining 92.57% of their performance for 30 days in air with humidity of 30% without encapsulation. 20Citywide package deliveries via crowdshipping:minimizing the efforts from crowdsourcers显示文摘Most current crowdsourced logistics aim to minimize systems cost and maximize delivery capacity,but the efforts of crowdsourcers such as drivers are almost ignored.In the delivery process,drivers usually need to take long-distance detours in hitchhiking rides based package deliveries.In this paper,we propose an approach that integrates offline trajectory data mining and online route-and-schedule optimization in the hitchhiking ride scenario to find optimal delivery routes for packages and drivers.Specifically,we propose a two-phase framework for the delivery route planning and scheduling.In the first phase,the historical trajectory data are mined offline to build the package transport network.In the second phase,we model the delivery route planning and package-taxi matching as an integer linear programming problem and solve it with the Gurobi optimizer.After that,taxis are scheduled to deliver packages with optimal delivery paths via a newly designed scheduling strategy.We evaluate our approach with the realworld datasets;the results show that our proposed approach can complete citywide package deliveries with a high success rate and low extra efforts of taxi drivers.Sijing CHENG Chao CHEN Shenle PAN Hongyu HUANG Wei ZHANG Yuming FENG 2022Frontiers of Computer Science2022,16,5:0
