A robust graphene oxide memristor enabled by organic pyridinium intercalation for artificial biosynapse application显示文摘Graphene oxide(GO)-based memristors offer the promise of low cost,eco-friendliness,and mechanical flexibility, making them attractive candidates for outstanding flexible electronic devices. However, their resistive transitions often display abrupt change rather than bidirectional progressive tuning, which largely limits their applications for biological synapse emulation and neuromorphic computing. Here,a memristor with a novel layered structure of GO/pyridinium/GO is presented with tunable bidirectional feature. The inserted organic pyridinium intercalation succeeds in serving as a satisfactory buffer layer to intrinsically control the formation of conductive filaments during device operation, leading to progressive conductance regulation. Thus, the essential synaptic behaviors including analog memory characteristics, excitatory postsynaptic current, paired pulse facilitation, prepulse inhibition,spike-timing-dependent plasticity, and spike-rate-dependent plasticity are replicated. The emulation of brain-like“learning-forgetting-relearning”process is also implemented.Additionally, the instant responses of the memristor can be stimulated by low operational voltages and short pulse widths. This study paves one way for GO-based memristors to actuate appealing features such as bidirectional tuning and fast speed switching that are desirable for the development of bio-inspired neuromorphic systems. | Yang Li Songtao Ling Ruiyu He Cheng Zhang Yue Dong Chunlan Ma Yucheng Jiang Ju Gao Jinghui He Qichun Zhang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,8: | 1
Viral vectored vaccines:design, development, preventive and therapeutic applications in human diseases显示文摘Human diseases, particularly infectious diseases and cancers, pose unprecedented challenges to public health security and the global economy. The development and distribution of novel prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines are the prioritized countermeasures of human disease.Among all vaccine platforms, viral vector vaccines offer distinguished advantages and represent prominent choices for pathogens that have hampered control efforts based on conventional vaccine approaches.Currently, viral vector vaccines remain one of the best strategies for induction of robust humoral and cellular immunity against human diseases.Numerous viruses of different families and origins, including vesicular stomatitis virus, rabies virus, parainfluenza virus, measles virus,Newcastle disease virus, influenza virus, adenovirus and poxvirus, are deemed to be prominent viral vectors that differ in structural characteristics, design strategy, antigen presentation capability, immunogenicity and protective efficacy. This review summarized the overall profile of the design strategies, progress in advance and steps taken to address barriers to the deployment of these viral vector vaccines, simultaneously highlighting their potential for mucosal delivery, therapeutic application in cancer as well as other key aspects concerning the rational application of these viral vector vaccines.Appropriate and accurate technological advances in viral vector vaccines would consolidate their position as a leading approach to accelerate breakthroughs in novel vaccines and facilitate a rapid response to public health emergencies. | Shen Wang Bo Liang Weiqi Wang Ling Li Na Feng Yongkun Zhao Tiecheng Wang Feihu Yan Songtao Yang Xianzhu Xia | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,5: | 1
Fotemustine-based therapy in combination with rituximab as a first-line induction chemotherapy followed by WBRT for newly diagnosed primary central nervous system lymphoma: a prospective phase II trial显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and feasibility of the rituximab, fotemustine, pemetrexed, and dexamethasone(R-FPD)regimen followed by whole-brain radiotherapy(WBRT)for patients with primary central nervous system lymphoma(PCNSL).Methods:A prospective,single-center phase II clinical trial was conducted.Patients with PCNSL newly diagnosed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University between July 2018 and July 2020 were studied. The R-FPD regimen consisted of rituximab(375 mg/m2 i.v.on D0),fotemustine(100 mg/m2 i.v.on D1),pemetrexed(600 mg/m2 i.v.on D1),and dexamethasone(40 mg i.v.on D1-5).Patients 60 years or younger who showed a complete response(CR)were treated with 23.4 Gy of WBRT after the end of chemotherapy;those older than 60 years with CR were treated with a wait-and-see approach;and those who did not show CR after the 4th cycle of chemotherapy were given salvage WBRT 30 Gy+local tumor field irradiation up to 45 Gy,regardless of age. Results:A total of 30 patients were included. After 2 cycles, the objective response rate(ORR)was 96.5%(28/29,1 CR,27 PR,0 SD,and 1 PD).After 4 cycles, the ORR was 73.1%(19/26,11 CR,8 PR,4 SD,and 3 PD).After WBRT,the ORR was 90.9%(10/11,7 CR,3 PR,and 1 SD).The grade III and IV toxicity responses were mainly leukopenia(20.0%),thrombocytopenia(23.3%),and anemia(10.0%).Conclusions:Fotemustine-based therapy in combination with rituximab chemotherapy followed by WBRT can improve outcomes, providing ORR benefits and favorable tolerability in patients newly diagnosed with PCNSL. | Jingjing Wu Fenghua Gao Wenhua Wang Xudong Zhang Meng Dong Lei Zhang Xin Li Ling Li Zhenchang Sun Xinhua Wang Xiaorui Fu Linan Zhu Mengjie Ding Songtao Niu Zhaoming Li Yu Chang Feifei Nan Jiaqian Yan Hui Yu Xiaolong Wu Zhiyuan Zhou Jieming Zhang Mingzhi Zhang | 2022 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,7: | 1
Fluid Mobility Evaluation of Tight Sandstones in Chang 7 Member of Yanchang Formation, Ordos Basin显示文摘Fluid mobility has been important topic for unconventional reservoir evaluation. The tight sandstones in Chang 7 Member of the Ordos Basin has been selected to investigate the fluid mobility based on the application of core flooding-NMR combined method and core centrifugation-NMR combined method, and the porous structure is studied using optical microscope, field emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM),CT and mercury injection. Our results include:(i)Feldsparrock fragments dissolution pores, calcite dissolution pores, clay mineral dissolution pores, intergranular dissolution expansion pores,inter-granular pores,intra-kaolinite pores, and intra-illite/smectite mixed layer pores are developed in Chang 7 tight sandstones;3D CT pore structure shows that the pore connectivity is positively related to physical properties, and the overall storage space is connected by the throat with diameter between 0.2 and 0.3μm.The percentage of storage space connected by throats with diameter less than 100 nm can reach more than 35%.(ii)Movable fluid saturation of Chang 7 tight sandstones is between 10%and 70%,and movable oil saturation is between 10%and 50%.Movable fluid saturation may cause misunderstanding when used to evaluate fluid mobility,so it is recommended to use movable fluid porosity in the evaluation of fluid mobility. The porosity ranging from 5%to 8%is the inflection point of the fluidity and pore structure. For samples with porosity less than 8%,the movable fluid porosity is generally less than 5%.Moreover,the movable fluid is mainly concentrated in the storage space with a throat diameter of 0.1 to 1μm.For samples with porosity greater than 8%,the porosity of the movable fluid is more than 5%,and the movable fluid is mainly concentrated in the storage space with a throat diameter of 0.2 to 2μm.(iii)The movable fluid saturation measured by core flooding-NMR combined method is generally higher than that measured by core centrifugation-NMR combined method. The former can evaluate the mobility of the oil-water two-phase fluid in samples, while the latter can better reflect the pore structure and directly evaluate the movable fluid in the pore system controlled by different throat diameters. All these results will provide valuable reference for fluid mobility evaluation in tight reservoirs. | Songtao Wu Shixiang Li Xuanjun Yuan Zhi Yang Aifen Li Jingwei Cui Songqi Pan Zhiguo Mao Ling Su You Zhou | 2021 | Journal of Earth Science2021,32,4: | 1
Changes of arterial blood ketone body ratio following hypoperfusion in old and adult rats显示文摘Objective To evaluate the sensitivity of arterial ketone body ratio as an indicator for multiple organ failure.Materials and methods The experimental model of multiple organ failure was made in adult and old rats by hypoperfusion-induced hemorrhagic shock. After blood sampling, the arterial acetoacetate, β-hydroxybutyrate, total ketone body, ALT, AST, BUN, creatinine at 2, 4, 8 hr in hypoperfusion were examined to compare the differences of ketone body ratio and organ failure between adult and old rats. Hepatic and mitochondrial metabolism were assessed by comparing ketone body ratios (AcAc/β-OHB) and free NAD+/NADH ratios. Results Ketone body ratio in old rats at 2, 4, 8 hr after the induction of hemorrhagic shock decreased from 0.68 to 0.31, 0.27 and 0.22, respectively. In adult rats, it decreased from 1.12 to 0.17, 0.12 and 0.09, respectively. Changes of ketone body ratio in the adult group were larger than in the elderly group ( P < 0.001). The development of multiple organ failure is associated with the time of hemorrhagic shock development. Conclusions There was a different ketone body ratio between multiple organ failure in the elderly (MOFE) and multiple organ failure (MOF) in general adults. Ketone body ratio is a better indicator than ALT and AST in reflecting hepatic function in the early status of MOF. | 6 | Variable Learning-Memory Behavior fromπ-Conjugated Ligand to Ligand-Containing Cobalt(II)Complex显示文摘In the information-explosion era, developing novel algorithms and memristive devices has become a promising concept for next-generation capacity enlargement technology.Organic small molecule-based devices displaying superior learning-memory performance have attracted much attention, except for the existence of poor heat-resilience and mediocre conductivity. In this paper,a strategy of transforming an organic-type data-storage material to metal complex is proposed to resolve these intrinsic issues.A pristine NDI-derivative(NIPy)and its corresponding Co(II)complex(CoNIPy)are synthesized for the purpose of electrical property investigation.CoNIPy complex-based memristive device exhibits superior ternary WORM memory performance compared with the binary behavior of NIPy,including>104 s of reading, lower threshold voltage(V_(th)),1:10^(2):10^(5)of OFF/ON1/ON2 current ratio, and long-term stability in heating environment. The variable learning-memory behavior can be attributed to the enhanced ligand-to-metal charge transfer(LMCT)and improved redox activity after the introduction of central metal atom and coordination bond. These studies on material innovation and optimal performance are of great importance not only for environmentally-robust memristive devices but also for practical application of a host of organic electronic devices. | Cheng Zhang Mohan Chen Guan Wang Ming Teng Songtao Ling Yanan Wang Zhaojun Su Kun Gao Xinbo Yang Chunlan Ma Yang Li Qichun Zhang | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,19: | 0
Chromosome-scale genome assembly of Prunus pusilliflora provides novel insights into genome evolution, disease resistance, and dormancy release in Cerasus L.显示文摘Prunus pusilliflora is a wild cherry germplasm resource distributed mainly in Southwest China.Despite its ornamental and economic value,a high-quality assembled P.pusilliflora genome is unavailable, hindering our understanding of its genetic background, population diversity, and evolutionary processes. Here,we de novo assembled a chromosome-scale P.pusilliflora genome using Oxford Nanopore,Illumina, and chromosome conformation capture sequencing. The assembled genome size was 309.62 Mb,with 76 scaffolds anchored to eight pseudochromosomes. We predicted 33035 protein-coding genes, functionally annotated 98.27%of them, and identified repetitive sequences covering 49.08%of the genome. We found that P.pusilliflora is closely related to Prunus serrulata and Prunus yedoensis, having diverged from them∼41.8 million years ago.A comparative genomic analysis revealed that P.pusilliflora has 643 expanded and 1128 contracted gene families.Furthermore,we found that P.pusilliflora is more resistant to Colletotrichum viniferum,Phytophthora capsici, and Pseudomonas syringae pv.tomato(Pst)DC3000 infections than cultivated Prunus avium.P.pusilliflora also has considerably more nucleotide-binding site-type resistance gene analogs than P.avium, which explains its stronger disease resistance. The cytochrome P450 and WRKY families of 263 and 61 proteins were divided into 42 and 8 subfamilies respectively in P.pusilliflora.Furthermore,81 MADS-box genes were identified in P.pusilliflora, accompanying expansions of the SVP and AGL15 subfamilies and loss of the TM3 subfamily. Our assembly of a high-quality P.pusilliflora genome will be valuable for further research on cherries and molecular breeding. | Songtao Jiu Baozheng Chen Xiao Dong Zhengxin Lv Yuxuan Wang Chunjin Yin Yan Xu Sen Zhang Jijun Zhu Jiyuan Wang Xunju Liu Wanxia Sun Guoqian Yang Meng Li Shufeng Li Zhuo Zhang Ruie Liu Lei Wang Muhammad Aamir Manzoor Quero-García José Shiping Wang Yahui Lei Ling Yang Elisabeth Dirlewanger Yang Dong Caixi Zhang | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,5: | 0
