| 2 | A review of friction stir welding of steels: Tool, material flow, microstructure, and properties显示文摘Considerable progress has been achieved in friction stir welding(FSW) of steels in every aspect of tool fabrication, microstructure control and properties evaluation in the past two decades. With the development of reliable welding tools and precise control systems, FSW of steels has reached a new level of technical maturity. High-quality, long welds can be produced in many engineering steels. Compared to traditional fusion welding, FSW exhibits unique advantages producing joints with better properties. As a result of active control of the welding temperature and/or cooling rate, FSW has the capability of fabricating steel joints with excellent toughness and strength. For example, unfavorable phase transformations that usually occur during traditional welding can be avoided and favorable phase fractions in advanced steels can be maintained in the weld zone thus avoiding the typical property degradations associated with fusion welding. If phase transformations do occur during FSW of thick steels, optimization of microstructure and properties can be attained by controlling the heat input and post-weld cooling rate. | F.C. Liu Y. | 6 | Investigation of Load Prediction on the Mexico Rotor Using the Technique of Determination of the Angle of Attack显示文摘Blade element moment(BEM) is a widely used technique for prediction of wind turbine aerodynamics performance,the reliability of airfoil data is an important factor to improve the prediction accuracy of aerodynamic loads and power using a BEM code.The method of determination of angle of attack on rotor blades developed by SHEN,et al is successfully used to extract airfoil data from experimental characteristics on the MEXICO(Model experiments in controlled conditions) rotor.Detailed surface pressure and particle image velocimetry(PIV) flow fields at different rotor azimuth positions are examined to determine the sectional airfoil data.The present technique uses simultaneously both PIV data and blade pressure data that include the actual flow conditions(for example,tunnel effects),therefore it is more advantageous than other techniques which only use the blade loading(pressure data).The extracted airfoil data are put into a BEM code,and the calculated axial and tangential forces are compared to both computations using BEM with Glauert's and SHEN's tip loss correction models and experimental data.The comparisons show that the present method of determination of angle of attack is correct,and the re-calculated forces have good agreements with the experiment. | YANG Hua SHEN Wenzhong SORENSEN Jens Nork er ZHU Weijun | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,3: | 5 |

| 8 | Phosphorus accumulation and leaching risk of greenhouse vegetable soils in Southeast China显示文摘Over-fertilization has caused significant phosphorus(P)accumulation in Chinese greenhouse vegetable production(GVP)soils.This study,for the first time,quantified profile P accumulation directly from soil P measurements,as well as subsoil P immobilization,in three alkaline coarse-textured GVP soil profiles with 5(S5),15(S15),and 30(S30)years of cultivation in Tongshan,Southeast China.For each profile,soil samples were collected at depths of 0-10(topsoil),10-20,20-40,40-60,60-80,and 80-100 cm.Phosphorus accumulation was estimated from the difference in P contents between topsoil and parent material(60-100 cm subsoil).Phosphorus mobility was assessed from measurements of water-soluble P concentration(P_(Sol)).Finally,P sorption isotherms were produced using a batch sorption experiment and fitted using a modified Langmuir model.High total P contents of 1980(S5),3190(S15),and 2330(S30)mg kg^(-1) were measured in the topsoils versus lower total P content of approximately 600 mg kg^(-1) in the 80-100 cm subsoils.Likewise,topsoil PSol values were very high,varying from 6.4 to 17.0 mg L^(-1).The estimated annual P accumulations in the topsoils were 397(S5),212(S15),and 78(S30)kg ha^(-1) year^(-1).Sorption isotherms demonstrated the dominance of P desorption in highly P-saturated topsoils,whereas the amount of adsorbed P increased in the 80-100 cm subsoils with slightly larger P adsorption capacity.The total P adsorption capacity of the 80-100 cm subsoils at a solution P concentration of0.5 mg L^(-1) was 15.7(S5),8.7(S15),and 6.5(S30)kg ha^(-1),demonstrating that subsoils were unable to secure P concentrations in leaching water below 0.5 mg L^(-1) because of their insufficient P-binding capacity. | Yusef KIANPOOR KALKHAJEH Biao HUANG Helle SORENSEN Peter EHOLM Hans Christian BHANSEN | 2021 | Pedosphere2021,31,5: | 4 |
