2An Analytical Method for Calculating the Shielding Effectiveness of an Enclosure with an Oblique Rectangular Aperture显示文摘An efficient analytical method is proposed to calculate the Shielding effectiveness(SE)of an enclosure with an oblique rectangular aperture.This enclosure was first decomposed into two ones with horizontal rectangular apertures through mirror image and Green function theories.The SE of each decomposed enclosure was calculated by the Robinson’s method.The relationship between the SE of the original cavity and those of the decomposed ones was also derived analytically.The SE of the original cavity could be directly obtained from this analytical relationship.The accuracy of the proposed method was validated with measurements and the Transmission line matrix(TLM)solver.The results show that the efficiency was largely improved compared with the TLM solver.SU Donglin LIU Hongyi YANG Shunchuan ZHAO Zihua SUI Donghai 2019Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,4:5

4Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. 6Buffer Bank storage:an economic, scalable and universally usable in-network storage model for streaming data applications显示文摘Large-scale streaming media distribution services impart unprecedented pressures and challenges to existing Internet architecture. Researchers have proposed CDN, P2 P Cache, ICN and other solutions to alleviate the pressure of the core network, as well as improve the user experience(Qo E). All these solutions achieve their goals by deploying storage resources close to the end users to cache the hot data. Based on the advantages of P2 P service, which takes into account end-users resources, we proposed the Buffer Bank Storage(BBS). It is a new streaming media distribution-oriented storage model by aggregating end-users resources. This provides a novel approach for implementation of economic, scalable, dynamically deploy streaming media distribution applications. However, the dynamic character of the end-user behavior brings challenges to BBS designation. In our previous work, we have analyzed the basic principle of BBS and its feasibility. There is lack of substantial research on resources management and reliability assessment, which are the core issue of BBS implementation.After carefully analyzing the reliability and security issue in BBS deployment, this paper has proposed the implementation model of BBS and studied the performance of different buffer allocation mechanism through simulation. 10Privacy-Preserving Protocol for Data Stored in the Cloud显示文摘Data storage is an important application of cloud computing. With a cloud computing platform, the burden of local data storage can be reduced. However, services and applications in a cloud may come from different providers, and creating an efficient protocol to protect privacy is critical. We propose a verification protocol for cloud database entries that protects against untrusted service providers. Based on identity-based encryption (IBE) for cloud storage, this protocol guards against breaches of privacy in cloud storage. It prevents service providers from easily constructing cloud storage and forging the signature of data owners by secret sharing. 11Nanomaterials with dual immunomodulatory functions for synergistic therapy of breast cancer brain metastases显示文摘A long-standing paucity of effective therapies results in the poor outcomes of triple-negative breast cancer brain metastases.Immunotherapy has made progress in the treatment of tumors,but limited by the non-immunogenicity of tumors and strong immunosuppressive environment,patients with TNBC brain metastases have not yet benefited from immunotherapy.Dual immunoregulatory strategies with enhanced immune activation and reversal of the immunosuppressive microenvironment provide new therapeutic options for patients.Here,we propose a cocktail-like therapeutic strategy of microenvironment regulation-chemotherapy-immune synergistic sensitization and construct reduction-sensitive immune microenvironment regulation nanomaterials(SIL@T).SIL@T modified with targeting peptide penetrates the BBB and is subsequently internalized into metastatic breast cancer cells,releasing silybin and oxaliplatin responsively in the cells.SIL@T preferentially accumulates at the metastatic site and can significantly prolong the survival period of model animals.Mechanistic studies have shown that SIL@T can effectively induce immunogenic cell death of metastatic cells,activate immune responses and increase infiltration of CD8+T cells.Meanwhile,the activation of STAT3 in the metastatic foci is attenuated and the immunosuppressive microenvironment is reversed.This study demonstrates that SIL@T with dual immunomodulatory functions provides a promising immune synergistic therapy strategy for breast cancer brain metastases.Zhenhao Zhao Chufeng Li Yiwen Zhang Chao Li Yongchao Chu Xuwen Li Peixin Liu Hongyi Chen Yu Wang Boyu Su Qinjun Chen Tao Sun Chen Jiang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,9:0
12Restoration of FMRP expression in adult V1 neurons rescues visual deficits in a mouse model of fragile X syndrome显示文摘Many people affected by fragile X syndrome(FXS)and autism spectrum disorders have sensory processing deficits,such as hypersensitivity to auditory,tactile,and visual stimuli.Like FXS in humans,loss of Fmr1 in rodents also cause sensory,behavioral,and cognitive deficits.However,the neural mechanisms underlying sensory impairment,especially vision impairment,remain unclear.It remains elusive whether the visual processing deficits originate from corrupted inputs,impaired perception in the primary sensory cortex,or altered integration in the higher cortex,and there is no effective treatment.In this study,we used a genetic knockout mouse model(Fmr1^(KO)),in vivo imaging,and behavioral measurements to show that the loss of Fmr1 impaired signal processing in the primary visual cortex(V1).Specifically,Fmr1^(KO) mice showed enhanced responses to low-intensity stimuli but normal responses to high-intensity stimuli.This abnormality was accompanied by enhancements in local network connectivity in V1 microcircuits and increased dendritic complexity of V1 neurons.These effects were ameliorated by the acute application of GABAA receptor activators,which enhanced the activity of inhibitory neurons,or by reintroducing Fmr1 gene expression in knockout V1 neurons in both juvenile and young-adult mice.Overall,V1 plays an important role in the visual abnormalities of Fmr1^(KO) mice and it could be possible to rescue the sensory disturbances in developed FXS and autism patients.Chaojuan Yang Yonglu Tian Feng Su Yangzhen Wang Mengna Liu Hongyi Wang Yaxuan Cui Peijiang Yuan Xiangning Li Anan Li Hui Gong Qingming Luo Desheng Zhu Peng Cao Yunbo Liu Xunli Wang Min-hua Luo Fuqiang Xu Wei Xiong Liecheng Wang Xiang-yao Li Chen Zhang 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,3:0
13A neutrophil-biomimic platform for eradicating metastatic breast cancer stem-like cells by redox microenvironment modulation and hypoxia-triggered differentiation therapy显示文摘Metastasis accounts for 90%of breast cancer deaths,where the lethality could be attributed to the poor drug accumulation at the metastatic loci.The tolerance to chemotherapy induced by breast cancer stem cells(BCSCs)and their particular redox microenvironment further aggravate the therapeutic dilemma.To be specific,therapy-resistant BCSCs can differentiate into heterogeneous tumor cells constantly,and simultaneously dynamic maintenance of redox homeostasis promote tumor cells to retro-differentiate into stem-like state in response to cytotoxic chemotherapy.Herein,we develop a specifically-designed biomimic platform employing neutrophil membrane as shell to inherit a neutrophil-like tumor-targeting capability,and anchored chemotherapeutic and BCSCs-differentiating reagents with nitroimidazole(NI)to yield two hypoxia-responsive prodrugs,which could be encapsulated into a polymeric nitroimidazole core.The platform can actively target the lung metastasis sites of triple negative breast cancer(TNBC),and release the escorted drugs upon being triggered by the hypoxia microenvironment.During the responsiveness,the differentiating agent could promote transferring BCSCs into non-BCSCs,and simultaneously the nitroimidazole moieties conjugated on the polymer and prodrugs could modulate the tumor microenvironment by depleting nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate hydrogen(NADPH)and amplifying intracellular oxidative stress to prevent tumor cells retro-differentiation into BCSCs.In combination,the BCSCs differentiation and tumor microenvironment modulation synergistically could enhance the chemotherapeutic cytotoxicity,and remarkably suppress tumor growth and lung metastasis.Hopefully,this work can provide a new insight in to comprehensively treat TNBC and lung metastasis using a versatile platform.Yongchao Chu Yifan Luo Boyu Su Chao Li Qin Guo Yiwen Zhang Peixin Liu Hongyi Chen Zhenhao Zhao Zheng Zhou Yu Wang Chen Jiang Tao Sun 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,1:0
