1A long-term Global LAnd Surface Satellite(GLASS)data-set for environmental studies显示文摘Recently,five Global LAnd Surface Satellite(GLASS)products have been released:leaf area index(LAI),shortwave broadband albedo,longwave broadband emissivity,incident short radiation,and photosynthetically active radiation(PAR).The first three products cover the years 19822012(LAI)and 19812010(albedo and emissivity)at 15 km and 8-day resolutions,and the last two radiation products span the period 20082010 at 5 km and 3-h resolutions.These products have been evaluated and validated,and the preliminary results indicate that they are of higher quality and accuracy than the existing products.In particular,the first three products have much longer time series,and are therefore highly suitable for various environmental studies.This paper outlines the algorithms,product characteristics,preliminary validation results,potential applications and some examples of initial analysis of these products.Shunlin Liang Xiang Zhao Suhong Liu Wenping Yuan Xiao Cheng Zhiqiang Xiao Xiaotong Zhang Qiang Liu Jie Cheng Hairong Tang Yonghua Qu Yancheng Bo Ying Qu Huazhong Ren Kai Yu John Townshend 2013International Journal of Digital Earth2013,6,S01:16
2The Management Pattern Carried Out in a Cataract Surgery Day Ward显示文摘Purpose: To evaluate the management practice and process of a cataract surgery day ward. Methods:From January to December in 2012,a portion of the cataract patients were evaluated for the pattern of day ward management.Methods were as follows:1).Establish the cataract day ward. 2) Enroll the patients who met the following criteria: voluntary, local residents or outsiders who stayed in a hotel near the hospital, accompanied by family, and who had simple senile cataract without any systemic major diseases. 3) Establish the hospitalization process. 4) Analyze the nursing process. After cataract day surgery, the patients were followed for 2 hours and completed a questionnaire about their needs and sentiments. Results: A total of 3971 cases were observed in this study; 49 cases were switched to a normal pattern of hospitalization because of operative complications, 1 case had a strong desire to switch to a normal pattern of hospitalization because of ocular discomfort,8 cases went back to the hospital for treatment because of ocular pain,and 52 cases called on the phone to seek help. Overall, 3820 cases (96.2%) returned on time the next day to visit the doctor.No patients showed severe postoperative complications and 98% expressed great satisfaction with the day ward process.Only 200 cases expressed great concern about not knowing how to deal with postoperative pain,the changes in condition outside the hospital, the therapeutic effects,and the problem of expense reimbursement. Conclusion: Day ward cataract surgery is an efficient and safe mode, and has the potential to relieve the demand for inpatient beds and to ensure timely treatment of the patients. In addition,it helps the patients enjoy health care at public expense,reserving reimbursement for those who need to be hospitalized.Nurses should pay more attention to systemic evaluation of the patients, health education, and psychological guidance,and keep in close communication with doctors, which is the key to ensure the safety of day ward practice.Jing Lin Xiaoqun Fang Suhong Wu 2013Eye Science2013,28,2:11
3Effect of antisense oligonucleotides targeting telomerase catalytic subunit on tumor cell proliferation in vitro显示文摘To screen specific antitumor drugs targeting telomerase catalytic subunit (hEST2), 12 different hEST2 antisense oligonucleotides were designed based on hEST2 mRNA second structure and transfected into tumor cell lines by the lipofectin-mediated method. Cell growth activity was evaluated by MTT assay. HEST212 was picked out and its specificity, antitumor tree and continuous effect were analyzed. 4Infection Control after Surgical Management of Complex Retinal Detachment by Vitrectomy显示文摘Purpose:To investigate the risk factors and infection control after vitrectomy.Methods:.By analyzing the risk factors of surgical infection following vitrectomy,.a sound surgical cooperation workflow was established..A system of equipment cleaning,.disinfection, and quarantine was set up. 5Improvement of Dark Object Method in Atmospheric Correction of hyperspectral remotely sensed data显示文摘The existing methods in atmospheric correction of hyperspectral data usually focus on removing the effects of water vapor and other absorptive gases, while this paper mainly studies the method of re- moving the influence of the aerosol and the water vapor simultaneously. Because the hyperspectral data has a larger number of bands, the conventional dark object method cannot be applied to the at- mospheric correction of the hyperspectral data which can be improved, as described in this paper, by adequately making use of spectral characteristics of the hyperspectral data with an iterative correction during the whole process. The effects of the aerosol and water vapor are eliminated at the same time finally. The improved dark object method is used to do the atomospheric correction of the Hyperion data in Yanzhou, Shandong Province as an example. 7Preliminary evaluation of the long-term GLASS albedo product显示文摘Land surface albedo is an important parameter to describe the radiant forcing in the climate system.A long-time series of global albedo products is needed to understand the mechanism of climate change.Aiming to support global change and Earth system studies,GLASS(Global LAnd Surface Satellites)provides long-term global land surface albedo product from 1981 to 2010,which are generated from multisource remote sensing data and newly developed algorithms.It is critical to assess the quality of the GLASS product when it is released to the public.This paper first introduced the algorithms and then analyzed the integrity,accuracy,and robustness of the GLASS albedo product.The results show that the GLASS albedo product is a gapless,long-term continuous,and self-consistent data-set with an accuracy similar to that of the widely acknowledged MODIS MCD43 product.The quality flag,which is provided along with the black-sky and white-sky albedo,gives a pertinent indication of the expected uncertainty in the product.Qiang Liua Lizhao Wang Ying Qu Nanfeng Liu Suhong Liu Hairong Tang Shunlin Liang 2013International Journal of Digital Earth2013,6,S01:7
8Study on the spectral response of Brassica Campestris L. leaf to the copper pollution显示文摘Brassica Campestis L. was cultivated in the soil at the laboratory. The red edge,the visual spectrum and the near-infrared spectrum of Brassica Campestis L. leaf were used to explore the spectral response of Brassica Campestis L. leaf to the copper stress. As the Cu content in the soil gets increased,the copper level in Brassica Campestris L. leaf would be increased,and the chlorophyll level in Brassica Campestris L. leaf would be decreased. As a result,the visual spectral reflectance (A1) of Brassica Campestris L. leaf is increased,and the blue-shift (moving towards the shorter waveband) degree (S) of the red edge (the ascending region of the re-flectivity at 680―740 nm) gets increased. However,the near-infrared spectral re-flectance (A2) decreases. 9Zn–Ca–Al mixed oxide as efficient catalyst for synthesis of propylene carbonate from urea and 1,2-propylene glycol显示文摘A series of Zn–Ca–Al oxides with different CaO and ZnO contents have been prepared and evaluated in the synthesis of propylene carbonate(PC) from 1,2-propylene glycol(PG) and urea in a batch reactor. The effect of catalyst composition, basicity and reaction process parameters such as temperature, catalyst dose, molar ratio of PG to urea, purge gas flow and reaction time has been studied to find suitable reaction conditions for the PC synthesis. The PC selectivity and yield under the desired conditions could reach 98.4% and 90.8%, respectively. The best performing catalyst also exhibited a good reusability without appreciable loss in the PC selectivity and yield after five consecutive reaction runs. 10Spatial Analysis of Commuting Mode Choice in Guangzhou, China显示文摘Metropolitan cities in China are commonly confronted with unresolved traffic congestion issues, primarily due to rapidly increasing traffic demand. Group disparity between commuting mode choice and its spatial distribution on road networks has enabled us to examine the factors that give rise to the discrepancies and the fundamental spatial causes of traffic congestion. In recent years, micro-perspective, individual, and behavior-based spatial analysis have mushroomed and been facilitated with effective tools such as temporal geographic information systems (T-GIS). It is difficult to study the interrelations between transport and space on the basis of commuting mode choice since the mode choice data are invisible in a specific space such as a particular road network. Therefore, in the field of transport, the classical origin destination (OD) four-stage model (FSM) is usually employed to calculate data when studying commuting mode choice. Based on the relative principles of T-GIS and the platform of ArcGIS, this paper considers Guangzhou as a case study and develops a spatio-temporal tool to examine the daily activities of residents. Meanwhile, the traffic volume distribution in rush hours, which was analyzed according to commuting modes and how they were reflected in the road network, was scrutinized with data extracted from travel diaries. Moreover, efforts were made to explain the relationship between traffic demand and urban spatial structure. Based on the investigation, this research indicates that traffic volumes in divergent groups and on the road networks is driven by: 1) the socio-economic characteristics of travelers; 2) a jobs-housing imbalance under suburbanization; 3) differences in the spatial supply of transport modes; 4) the remains of the Danwei (work unit) system and market development in China; and 5) the transition of urban spatial structure and other factors.ZHOU Suhong DENG Lifang HUANG Meiyu 2013Chinese Geographical Science2013,23,3:4
11In-package cold plasma treatment of braised chicken: voltage effect显示文摘This study investigated the effect of different dielectric barrier discharge cold plasma(DBD-CP) treatment voltages on the microbiological growth and quality characteristics of braised chicken during storage at(4 ± 1) ℃. Argon-packed samples were subjected to DBD-CP treatment for 3 min at voltages of 50, 60 and 70 k V. As a result, there was no significant(P > 0.05) difference in L*, a*, b* and p H of braised chicken between control and treatment groups at the same storage time. However, the development of lipid oxidation in DBD-CP treatment samples was slower than that in air-packed samples. Compared to air-packed samples, the reduction of total viable count, yeasts and molds, lactic acid bacteria and Pseudomonads spp. in 70 k V treated samples on day 15 were 3.21, 2.41, 2.44 and 1.96 lg(CFU/g), respectively. 12Natural variations in grain length 10(GL10)regulate rice grain size显示文摘Grain size is an important determinant of grain weight and yield in rice.Although several genes related to grain size have been identified,natural variations in these genes that affect grain size are poorly characterized.Here,we describe the grain length QTL GL10,encoding MADS56,which positively regulates grain length and grain weight.A natural allelic variation of NIL-gl10,containing an~1.0-kb deletion in the first exon that abolishes its transcription,results in shorter grain length,lower grain weight and delayed flowering in gl10 plants.The knockout of GL10 in the HJX74 background leads to grain phenotypes similar to that of NIL-gl10,while overexpression of GL10 results in increased grain length and weight and earlier heading date.GL10 regulates grain length by promoting greater longitudinal cell growth in the grain glume.Additionally,GL10 participates in the regulation of gibberellic acid(GA)signaling pathway genes in young panicle tissues.Analysis of GL10 haplotypes shows obvious divergence between the japonica and indica lineages.Our findings reveal an allelic variation of GL10 that may explain differences in grain length among modern cultivars and could be used to breed rice varieties with optimized grain shape.Penglin Zhan Shuaipeng Ma Zhili Xiao Fangping Li Xin Wei Shaojun Lin Xiaoling Wang Zhe Ji Yu Fu Jiahao Pan Mi Zhou Yue Liu Zengyuan Chang Lu Li Suhong Bu Zupei Liu Haitao Zhu Guifu Liu Guiquan Zhang Shaokui Wang 2022Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,5:3
13Relocation Selection for Poverty Alleviation:Factor Analysis and GIS Modeling显示文摘Resettlement is considered a major policy measure in two major Chinese policy programs,the 'Great Development of the West' and poverty alleviation in the new century,and the 'New Countryside Development'.The selection of the target location of resettlement sites for poverty-stricken villages is of critical importance to the success of resettlement projects,yet the selection process is challenged by the need for analyzing a variety of contributing factors,and the need for many rounds of tedious data processing.So in this paper we present an in-depth analysis of the major factors and data processing model concerning mountainous povertystricken villages,which also takes a major part of China's poor villages.Our analysis shows the following factors bear the most importance in resettlement selection:1) topography:candidate areas should have slope less than 25 degrees and altitude less than 2400 meters.2) accessibility:close to market conventions places and transportation facilities.3) farming resources:with abundant land and water resources.4) non-intrusiveness:interests of receiving villages should be considered and negative impact minimized.A simple measure could be having the candidate area 1000 m away from the receiving residents.5) Minimal ecological and political footprint:candidate areas shall not conflict with nature conservation areas or nationally planned key land use projects.6) Social and cultural compatibility:residents will better off if relocated in the same county,considering language,religion,ethnic culture and other factors.Taking Makuadi,Lushui County of Nujiang Prefecture as a case study,we demonstrate how GIS analysis and modeling tools can be used in the selection process of resettlement projects in mountainous areas.LI Yimin YIN Haihong LIU Suhong 2011Journal of Mountain Science2011,8,3:2
14Effect of Initial Vortex Intensity Correction on Tropical Cyclone Intensity Prediction:A Study Based on GRAPES_TYM显示文摘Predicting the intensity of tropical cyclones(TCs)is challenging in operational weather prediction systems,partly due to the difficulty in defining the initial vortex.In an attempt to solve this problem,this study investigated the effect of initial vortex intensity correction on the prediction of the intensity of TCs by the operational numerical prediction system GRAPES_TYM(Global and Regional Assimilation and Prediction System_Typhoon Model)of the National Meteorological Center of the China Meteorological Administration.The statistical results based on experiments using data for major TCs in 2018 show that initial vortex intensity correction can reduce the errors in mean intensity for up to 120-h integration,with a noticeable decrease in the negative bias of intensity and a slight increase in the mean track error.The correction leads to an increase in the correlation coefficient of Vmax(maximum wind speed at 10-m height)for the severe typhoon and super typhoon stages.Analyses of the errors in intensity at different stages of intensity(including tropical storms,severe tropical storms,typhoons,severe typhoons,and super typhoons)show that vortex intensity correction has a remarkable positive influence on the prediction of super typhoons from 0 to 120h.Analyses of the errors in intensity for TCs with different initial intensities indicate that initial vortex correction can significantly improve the prediction of intensity from 24 to 96 h for weak TCs(including tropical storms and severe tropical storms at the initial time)and up to 24 h for strong TCs(including severe typhoons and super typhoons at the initial time).The effect of the initial vortex intensity correction is more important for developing TCs than for weakening TCs.Liwen WANG Suhong MA 2020Journal of Meteorological Research2020,34,2:2
15Endothelin-1 activation in pediatric patients undergoing surgical coarctation of the aorta repair显示文摘AIM To determine endothelin-1(ET-1)concentration before and after surgical coarctectomy and evaluate its association with left ventricular geometric change.METHODSA prospective,cohort study of 24 patients aged 2 d to 10years with coarctation of the aorta undergoing surgical repair.A sub-cohort of patients with age<1 mo was classified as'neonates'.Echocardiograms were performed just prior to surgery and in the immediate post-op period to assess left ventricle mass index and relative wall thickness(RWT).Plasma ET-1 levels were assessed at both time points.Association between ET-1 levels and ventricular remodeling was assessed.RESULTSPatients<1 year demonstrated higher pre-op ET-1 than post-op(2.8 pg/m L vs 1.9 pg/m L,P=0.02).Conversely,patients>1 year had no change in ET-1 concentration before and after surgery(1.1 vs 1.4,NS).Pre-op,patients<1 year demonstrated significantly higher ET-1 than older children(2.8 vs 1.1,P=0.001).Post-op there was no difference between the age groups(1.9 vs 1.4,NS).Neither RWT nor left ventricle mass index(LVMI)varied from pre-op to post-op.The subset of neonates showed a strong positive correlation between pre-op ET-1 and RWT(r=0.92,P=0.001).Patients with ET-1>2 pg/m L preop demonstrated higher LVMI(65.7 g/m^(2.7) vs 38.5 g/m^(2.7),P=0.004)and a trend towards higher RWT(45%vs39%,P=0.07)prior to repair than those with lower ET-1concentration.CONCLUSIONET-1 concentration is significantly variable in the perioperative period surrounding coarctectomy.Older children and infants have different responses to surgical repair suggesting different mechanisms of activation.Benjamin Steven Frank Tracy T Urban Suhong Tong Courtney Cassidy Max B Mitchell Christopher S Nichols Jesse A Davidson 2017World Journal of Cardiology2017,9,12:2

20Impact analysis of human factors on power system operation reliability显示文摘Along with the improvement of electrical equipment reliability,people’s unsafe behaviors and human errors have become one of main sources of risks in power systems.However,there is no comprehensive study on human factors and human reliability analysis in power systems.In allusion to this situation,this paper attempts to analyze the impact of human factors on power system reliability.First,this paper introduces current situation of human factors in power systems and the latest research progress in this field.Several analysis methods are proposed according to specified situations,and these methods are verified by some power system practical cases.On this base,this paper illustrates how human factors affect power system operation reliability from 2 typical aspects:imperfect maintenance caused by human errors,and impact of human factors on emergency dispatch operation and power system cascading failure.Finally,based on information decision and action in crew(IDAC),a novel dispatcher training evaluation simulation system(DTESS)is established,which can incorporate all influencing factors.Once fully developed,DTESS can be used to simulate dispatchers’response when encountering an initial event,and improve power system dispatching reliability.Yingkai BAO Chuangxin GUO Jinjiang ZHANG Jiaxin WU Suhong PANG Zhiping ZHANG 2018Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2018,6,1:1
