| 3 | ESCRT-I Component VPS23A Sustains Salt Tolerance by Strengthening the SOS Module in Arabidopsis显示文摘The Salt-Overly-Sensitive(SOS)signaling module,comprising the sodium-transport protein SOS1 and the regulatory proteins SOS2 and SOS3,is well known as the central salt excretion system,which helps protect plants against salt stress.Here we report that VPS23A,a component of the ESCRT(endosomal sorting complex required for transport),plays an essential role in the function of the SOS module in conferring plant salt tolerance.VPS23A enhances the interaction of SOS2 and SOS3.In the presence of salt stress,VPS23A positively regulates the redistribution of SOS2 to the plasma membrane,which then activates the antiporter activity of SOS1 to reduce Na+accumulation in plant cells.Genetic evidence demonstrated that plant salt tolerance achieved by the overexpression of SOS2 and SOS3 dependeds on VPS23A.Taken together,our results revealed that VPS23A is a crucial regulator of the SOS module and affects the localization of SOS2 to the cell membrane.Moreover,the strong salt tolerance of Arabidopsis seedlings conferred by the engineered membrane-bound SOS2 revealed the significance of SOS2 sorting to the cell membrane in achieving its function,providing a potential strategy for crop salt tolerance engineering. | Lijuan Lou Feifei Yu Miaomiao Tian Guangchao Liu Yaorong Wu Yujiao Wu Ran Xia Jose M.Pardo Yan Guo Qi Xie | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,8: | 5 |
| 4 | Effect of Li+ ion concentration on upconversion emission and temperature sensing behavior of La2O3:Er3+ phosphors显示文摘The effects of Li^+ co-doping concentration on the structure, upconversion luminescence and temperature sensing behavior of Er^(3+):La_2O_3 phosphors were investigated. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy observations reveal that Li^+ ion co-doping can change the lattice parameter of La_2O_3 host and increase the particle size of the samples. The optical investigation shows that co-doping of Li^+ ions can enhance the upconversion emission of Er^(3+) ions in La_2O_3 matrix effectively. Most importantly, the temperature sensing sensitivity of the samples is found to be dependent on Li^+ co-doping concentration,when the emission intensity ratio of the(~2H_(11/2)→~4 I_(15/2)) and(~4 S_(3/2)→~4 I_(15/2)) transitions of Er^(3+) is chosen as the thermometric index. Both of the optimum upconversion luminescence and temperature sensing sensitivity are obtained for 7 mol% Li^+ co-doped sample. | 8 | Paleoclimatic evolution indicated by major geochemical elements from aeolian sediments on the east of Qinghai Lake显示文摘As the largest inland lake of China, along with its unique landscape and geographical location, Qinghai Lake has got much atten- tion of the scientists for a long time. The precursors have done substantive researches by using the lake sediment, which deepen our understanding of the climate changes in this region. Although sand dunes and loess sediment are widely distributed around the lake, so far the researches on geochemical elements from aeolian sediment have been less reported. In this paper, we selected a typical aeolian profile on the east of Qinghai Lake. Based on systematic sampling and analysis of seven major geochemical elements, combined with OSL dating and previous researches, this paper discusses climate changes in the Qinghai Lake area since 12.5 ka B.P.. Our conclusions are: (1) Before 12.5 ka B.P., the climate in this region was dry, cold, and accompanied by strong wind-sand activities. (2) During 12.5-11.9 ka B.P., the climate became warm and wet. However, there was an abrupt climate cooling event during 12.2-11.9 ka B.P., which likely corresponded to the Younger Dryas event. (3) During 11.9-8.0 ka B.P., the climate fluctuated greatly and frequently from warm to cold, and three cooling events occurred. (4) During 8.0-2.6 ka B.P., the climate was warm and humid. | 12 | Electrical properties of yttrium calcium oxyborate crystal annealed at high temperature and low oxygen partial pressure显示文摘The yttrium calcium oxyborate crystal(YCa_(4)O(BO_(3))_(3),YCOB)has been actively studied for hightemperature piezoelectric sensing applications.In this work,the stability of electric properties of YCOB crystal annealed in critical conditions(high-temperatures of 900-1100℃ with a low oxygen partial pressure of 4×10^(-6) atm for 24 h)was investigated and the recovery mechanism for the electrical resisitivity,dielectric permittivity and dielectric loss were studied,taking advantage of the X-ray photoelectron spectra and the first principle calculations.The electrical resistivity of the annealed YCOB crystal was slightly decreased when compared to the pristine counterpart,being(2-5)×10^(7) Ω·cm at 850C.The dielectric permittivity and dielectric loss were found to increase after annealing,showing recoverable behaviours after thermal treatment above 650℃ in air.The calculated vacancy formation energy indicates that the oxygen vacancy is the dominant defects in YCOB.The formation of oxygen vacancy weakens the chemical bonding strength between B(Ca or Y)and O atoms,introduces extra donor levels in the band gap,which excites the electrons to conduction band more easily thus enhances the electrical conductivity and dielectric loss.The recovered electrical properties are believed to be associated with the reduced vacancy defects at elevated temperatures in air. | Shiwei Tian Lili Li Feifei Chen Chao Jiang Fapeng Yu Yanlu Li Xiulan Duan Zhengping Wang Shujun Zhang Xian Zhao | 2019 | Journal of Materiomics2019,5,3: | 2 |

| 16 | N-Glycoproteomics Study of Putative N-Glycoprotein Biomarkers of Drug Resistance in MCF-7/ADR Cells显示文摘Currently,drug resistance of anti-cancer therapy has become the main cause of low survival rate and poor prognosis.Full understanding of drug resistance mechanisms is an urgent request for further development of anti-cancer therapy and improve-ment of prognosis.Here we present our N-glycoproteomics study of putative N-glycoprotein biomarkers of drug resistance in doxorubicin resistance breast cancer cell line michigan cancer foundation-7(MCF-7/ADR)relative to parental michigan cancer foundation-7(MCF-7)cells.Intact N-glycopeptides(IDs)from MCF-7/ADR and MCF-7 cells were enriched with zwitterionic hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography(ZIC-HILIC),labeled with stable isotopic diethylation(SIDE),and analyzed with C18-RPLC-MS/MS(HCD with stepped normalized collision energies);these IDs were identified with database search engine GPSeeker,and the differentially expressed intact N-glycopeptides(DEGPs)were quantified with GPSeekerQuan.With target-decoy searches and control of spectrum-level FDR≤1%,322 intact N-glycopeptides were identified;these intact N-glycopeptides come from the combination of 249 unique peptide backbones(corresponding to 234 intact N-glycoproteins)and 90 monosaccharide compositions(corresponding to 248 putative N-glycosites).The sequence structures of 165 IDs were confirmed with structure-diagnostic fragment ions.With the criteria of observation at least twice among the three technical replicates,≥1.5-fold change and p value<0.05,20 DEGPs were quantified,where five of them were up-regulated and 15 of them were down-regulated;the corresponding intact N-glycoproteins as putative markers of drug resistance were discussed. | Hailun Yang Feifei Xu Kaijie Xiao Yun Chen Zhixin Tian | 2021 | Phenomics2021,1,6: | 1 |
| 17 | Resistive switching and artificial synaptic performances of memristor based on low-dimensional bismuth halide perovskites显示文摘Zero-dimensional(0D)-Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9),two-dimensional(2D)-Cs_(3)Bi_(2)Br_(9),and one-dimensional(1D)-Cs3Bi2Cl9 perovskite films have been successfully grown on indium tin oxide(ITO)glass substrates,which were used to fabricate memristors with the structure of Al/Cs_(3)Bi_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,and Cl)/ITO glass.The current three types of memristors exhibited bipolar resistive switching behaviors.Both the endurance and retention time tests clearly demonstrated the excellent stability of present devices.Especially,the ON/OFF ratio of the 0D-Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)device is close to 104 at the reading voltage of 0.1 V,which is nearly 100 and 1000 times larger than those of the 1D-Cs3Bi2Cl9 device and the 2D-Cs_(3)Bi_(2)Br_(9)device,respectively.The activation energy of halide vacancies in the Cs_(3)Bi_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,and Cl)films was calculated using the density functional theory by considering a minimum migration path,demonstrating the dimensionality of the Cs_(3)Bi_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,and Cl)film affected the formation and rupture of conductive filaments.Moreover,the short-term plasticity and long-term plasticity of biological synapse were simulated by evaluating the conductance responses of Al/Cs_(3)Bi_(2)X_(9)(X=I,Br,and Cl)/ITO devices under various voltage pulses in detail.The duration time of long-term plasticity in all the present devices can last for up to 250 s.The 0D-Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)device showed both the highest spikeduration-dependent plasticity and paired-pulse facilitation indexes compared to the other two devices.Additionally,the 0DCs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)device successfully established the associative learning behavior by simulating the Pavlov’s dog experiment. | Feifei Luo Yanzhao Wu Junwei Tong Fubo Tian Xianmin Zhang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,7: | 1 |
