3High power THz source based on coherent radiation of picosecond relativistic electron bunch train显示文摘Tunable and compact high power terahertz (THz) radiation based on coherent radiation (CR) of the picosecond relativistic electron bunch train is under development at the Tsinghua accelerator lab. Coherent synchronization radiation (CSR) and coherent transition radiation (CTR) are researched based on an S-band compact electron linac, a bending magnet or a thin foil. The bunch train's form factors, which are the key factor of THz radiation, are analyzed by the PARMELA simulation. The effects of electron bunch trains under different conditions, such as the bunch number, bunch charges, micro-pulses inter-distance, and accelerating gradient of the gun are investigated separately in this paper. 4A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 5A new species of the genus Crocidura from China based on molecular and morphological data(Eulipotyphla: Soricidae)显示文摘A new species of white-toothed shrew,Crocidura anhuiensis Zhang,Zhang&Li,sp.nov.is described from Mount Huang,China.Genetic sequence(mt DNA Cyt b gene)and morphological(external and skull)data are used to distinguish this newly discovered species.The phylogenetic analysis shows that the materials of this work are monophyletic and allied to C.attenuata by the uncorrected genetic distance 4.9–5.1%,which suggests a species-level divergence.Morphologically,the materials are different from C.attenuata by presenting a greater proportion of tail-to-body ratio and the presence of an obvious tooth root in the mandible.Based on those data,the unnamed species is described as a new species which is currently known only from the Wild Monkey Valley,Mount Huang,Anhui Province,China.Heng Zhang Guiyou Wu Yanqing Wu Jianfei Yao Shuo You Chencheng Wang Feng Cheng Jingjing Chen Mingxia Tang Chunlin Li Baowei Zhang 2019Zoological Systematics2019,44,4:5
6Dissipative particle dynamics simulation of wettability alternation phenomena in the chemical flooding process显示文摘Wettability alternation phenomena is consideredone of the most important enhanced oil recovery (EOR)mechanisms in the chemical flooding process and inducedby the adsorption of surfactant on the rock surface. Thesephenomena are studied by a mesoscopic method named asdissipative particle dynamics (DPD). Both the alterationphenomena of water-wet to oil-wet and that of oil-wet towater-wet are simulated based on reasonable definition ofinteraction parameters between beads. The wetting hysteresisphenomenon and the process of oil-drops detachment fromrock surfaces with different wettability are simulated byadding long-range external forces on the fluid particles. Thesimulation results show that, the oil drop is liable to spreadon the oil-wetting surface and move in the form of liquid filmflow, whereas it is likely to move as a whole on the water-wettingsurface. There are the same phenomena occuring inwettability-alternated cases. 8Biocompatible, small-sized and well-dispersed gold nanoparticles regulated by silk fibroin fiber from Bombyx mori cocoons显示文摘Biocompatible, small-sized but well-dispersed gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) remain a major challenge for their synthesis. Here a convenient solution impregnation technique is developed to prepare such Au NPs under the regulation of degummed silk fibroin fibers (SFFs) extracted from Bombyx mori cocoons. SFFs play multiple roles in the formation of Au NPs such as reactive substrate to capture AuCl4^- ions by the chelation of -C = 0, reducing agent for Au(0) by the reduction of -OH , and modifiers to render biocompatible Au NPs by some functional groups and biomolecules. The as-prepared Au NPs with a size of 7-10 nm are embedded in the solid SFF substrate, and can disperse well in the liquid system by the disintegration of SFFs into silk fibroin (SF) in a certain CaCl2 solution. 13Dynamic characteristics and influencing factors of CO_(2) huff and puff in tight oil reservoirs显示文摘CO_(2)huff and puff experiments of different injection parameters,production parameters and soaking time were carried out on large-scale cubic and long columnar outcrop samples to analyze dynamic characteristics and influencing factors of CO_(2)huff and puff and the contribution of sweeping mode to recovery.The experimental results show that the development process of CO_(2)huff and puff can be divided into four stages,namely,CO_(2)backflow,production of gas with some oil,high-speed oil production,and oil production rate decline stages.The production of gas with some oil stage is dominated by free gas displacement,and the high-speed oil production stage is dominated by dissolved gas displacement.CO_(2)injection volume and development speed are the major factors affecting the oil recovery.The larger the injected CO_(2)volume and the lower the development speed,the higher the oil recovery will be.The reasonable CO_(2)injection volume and development speed should be worked out according to oilfield demand and economic evaluation.There is a reasonable soaking time in CO_(2)huff and puff.Longer soaking time than the optimum time makes little contribution to oil recovery.In field applications,the stability of bottom hole pressure is important to judge whether the soaking time is sufficient during the huff period.The oil recovery of CO_(2)huff and puff mainly comes from the contribution of flow sweep and diffusion sweep,and diffusion sweep contributes more to the oil recovery when the soaking time is sufficient.TANG Xiang LI Yiqiang HAN Xue ZHOU Yongbing ZHAN Jianfei XU Miaomiao ZHOU Rui CUI Kai CHEN Xiaolong WANG Lei 2021Petroleum Exploration and Development2021,48,4:1
14ALTERNATING DIRECTION IMPLICIT SCHEMES FOR THE TWO-DIMENSIONAL TIME FRACTIONAL NONLINEAR SUPER-DIFFUSION EQUATIONS显示文摘As is known,there exist numerous alternating direction implicit(ADI)schemes for the two-dimensional linear time fractional partial differential equations(PDEs).However,if the ADI schemes for linear problems combined with local linearization techniques are applied to solve nonlinear problems,the stability and convergence of the methods are often not clear.In this paper,two ADI schemes are developed for solving the two-dimensional time fractional nonlinear super-diffusion equations based on their equivalent partial integrodifferential equations.In these two schemes,the standard second-order central difference approximation is used for the spatial discretization,and the classical first-order approximation is applied to discretize the Riemann-Liouville fractional integral in time.The solvability,unconditional stability and L2 norm convergence of the proposed ADI schemes are proved rigorously.The convergence order of the schemes is 0(τ+hx^2+hy^2),where τ is the temporal mesh size,hx and hy are spatial mesh sizes in the x and y directions,respectively.Finally,numerical experiments are carried out to support the theoretical results and demonstrate the performances of two ADI schemes.Jianfei Huang Yue Zhao Sadia Arshad Kuangying Li Yifa Tang 2019Journal of Computational Mathematics2019,37,3:1
15Effects of power-law spectrum behaviors of nonthermal electrons on a ring-beam maser instability显示文摘The electron-cyclotron maser(ECM) emission driven by nonthermal electrons is one of the most crucial mechanisms responsible for radio emissions in magnetized planets,for the interplanetary medium(IPM) and for the laboratory microwave generation devices.Major astrophysical observations demonstrate that nonthermal electrons frequently have a negative power-law spectrum with a lower energy cutoff and anisotropic distribution in the velocity space.In this paper,the effects of power-law spectrum behaviors of electrons on a ring-beam maser emission are considered.The results show that the growth rates of O1 and X2 modes decrease rapidly for small(the dispersion of momentum u).Because of the lower energy cutoff behavior,the nonthermal electrons with large still can excite the ECM instability efficiently.The present analysis also includes the effects of parameter β(βu 0 is the dispersion of perpendicular momentum u ⊥,u 0 the average value of u) on the instability.The growth rate of X2 mode decreases with parameter ν 0(ν 0 = u ⊥0 /u 0,u ⊥0 is the average value of u ⊥).But for O1 mode,the relationship between the growth rate and ν 0 is complicated.It also shows that the growth rates are very sensitive to frequency ratio Ω(frequency ratio of electron cyclotron frequency to plasma frequency).TANG JianFei WU DeJin YAN YiHua 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,4:1
16Tannery wastewater treatment:conventional and promising processes,an updated 20-year review显示文摘Mismanagement of various wastes especially waste water produced by tanning processes has caused serious environmental problems and ultimately impaired human health.Constant efforts have been making to alleviate the pollution of tannery wastewater(TWW),yet terminal treatment still takes dominance.In this review,research on TWW treatment from 2000 to 2021 was summarized,and main methods such as coagulation and flocculation,adsorption,biological treatment,membrane filtration,advanced oxidation process were briefly discussed.More detailed introduc-tion was given to the method of electrochemical treatment since it has excellent performance such as environmental friendliness and high efficiency,hence attracting more and more research attention in recent years.In view of the harsh physi-chemical conditions of TWW,integrated or combined treatment methods are accordingly recommended with better performance and multi-function,however comprehensive studies on optimization of methods combina-tion and cost-effectiveness are needed.The certain issues that the residue Cr in treatment sludge and high salinity in effluent still remain were put forward in this work and potential solutions were provided.Moreover,this review pro-posed the perspective that realizing multi-function,recycling,and intensification should be the developing direction for future TWW treatment.This review is expected to provide a general guide for researchers who aspire to ameliorate TWW pollution problems and understand various methods utilized in this field.Jun Zhao Qinglian Wu Yuling Tang Jianfei Zhou Hongguang Guo 2022Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2022,4,1:0

18Rigidity for convex mappings of Reinhardt domains and its applications显示文摘In this paper, we investigate rigidity and its applications to extreme points of biholomorphic convex mappings on Reinhardt domains. By introducing a version of the scaling method, we precisely construct many unbounded convex mappings with only one in?nite discontinuity on the boundary of this domain. We also give a rigidity of these unbounded convex mappings via the Kobayashi metric and the Liouville-type theorem of entire functions. As an application we obtain a collection of extreme points for the class of normalized convex mappings. 20Effects of mepiquat chloride and plant population density on leaf photosynthesis and carbohydrate metabolism in upland cotton显示文摘Background Mepiquat chloride(MC)application and plant population density(PPD)increasing are required for modern cotton production.However,their interactive effects on leaf physiology and carbohydrate metabolism remain obscure.This study aimed to examine whether and how MC and PPD affect the leaf morpho-physiological characteristics,and thus final cotton yield.PPD of three levels(D1:2.25 plants·m^(-2),D2:4.5 plants·m^(-2),and D3:6.75 plants·m^(-2))and MC dosage of two levels(MC0:0 g·ha^(-2),MC1:82.5 g·ha^(-2))were combined to create six treatments.The dynamics of nonstructual carbohydrate concentration,carbon metabolism-related enzyme activity,and photosynthetic attributes in cotton leaves were examined during reproductive growth in 2019 and 2020.Results Among six treatments,the high PPD of 6.75 plants·m^(-2)combined with MC application(MC1D3)exhibited the greatest seed cotton yield and biological yield.The sucrose,hexose,starch,and total nonstructural carbohydrate(TNC)concentrations peaked at the first flowering(FF)stage and then declined to a minimum at the first boll opening(FBO)stage.Compared with other treatments,MC1D3 improved starch and TNC concentration by 5.4%~88.4%,7.8%~52.0% in 2019,and by 14.6%~55.9%,13.5%~39.7% in 2020 at the FF stage,respectively.Additionally,MC1D3 produced higher transformation rates of starch and TNC from the FF to FBO stages,indicating greater carbon production and utilization efficiency.MC1D3 displayed the maximal specific leaf weight(SLW)at the FBO stage,and the highest chlorophyll a(Chl a),Chl b,and Chl a+b concentration at the mid-late growth phase in both years.The Rubisco activity with MC1D3 was 2.6%~53.2% higher at the flowering and boll setting stages in both years,and 2.4%~52.7% higher at the FBO stage in 2020 than those in other treatments.These results provided a explanation of higher leaf senescence-resistant ability in MC1D3.Conclusion Increasing PPD coupled with MC application improves cotton yield by enhancing leaf carbohydrate production and utilization efficiency and delaying leaf senescence.LUO Haihua ZHANG Zhengxian WU Jianfei WU Zhenjiang WEN Tianwang TANG Feiyu 2023Journal of Cotton Research2023,6,4:0
