| 1 | Saline soil enzyme activities of four plant communities in Sangong River basin of Xinjiang,China显示文摘Soil enzyme activity plays an important role in the conversion of soil organic carbon into inorganic carbon,which is significant for the global carbon cycle.In this study,we investigated the soil enzyme activities of two ligninolytic enzymes(peroxidase and polyphenol oxidase)and five non-ligninolytic enzymes(α-1,4-glucosidase(AG);β-1,4-glucosidase(BG);N-acetyl-β-glucosaminidase(NAG);β-D-cellobiosidase(CBH);andβ-xylosidase(BXYL))in four plant communities of the Sangong River basin in Fukang,North Xinjiang,China.The four typical plant communities were dominated by Haloxylon ammodendron,Reaumuria soongonica,Salsola passerina,and Tamarix rarmosissima,respectively,with saline soils of varied alkalinity.The results showed that the soil peroxidase activity decreased seasonally.The activities of the five non-ligninolytic enzymes decreased with increasing soil depths,while those of the two ligninolytic enzymes did not show such a trend.In the four plant communities,BG had the highest activity among the five non-ligninolytic enzymes,and the activities of the two ligninolytic enzymes were higher than those of the four non-ligninolytic ones(AG,NAG,CBH,and BXYL).The community of H.ammodendron displayed the highest activity with respect to the two ligninolytic enzymes in most cases,but no significant differences were found among the four plant communities.The geometric mean of soil enzyme activities of the four plant communities was validated through an independently performed principal component analysis(PCA),which indicated that different plant communities had different soil enzyme activities.The correlation analysis showed that soil polyphenol oxidase activity was significantly positively correlated with the activities of the five non-ligninolytic enzymes.The soil pH value was positively correlated with the activities of all soil enzymes except peroxidase.Soil microbial carbon content also showed a significant positive correlation(P<0.01)with the activities of all soil enzymes except polyphenol oxidase.The results suggested that the H.ammodendron community has the highest ability to utilize soil organic carbon,and glucoside could be the most extensively utilized non-ligninolytic carbon source in the saline soil of arid areas in Xinjiang. | ZhengJun GUAN Qian LUO Xi CHEN XianWei FENG ZhiXi TANG Wei WEI YuanRun ZHENG | 2014 | Journal of Arid Land2014,6,2: | 11 |
| 2 | TAOK1 negatively regulates IL-17-mediated signaling and inflammation显示文摘Interleukin 17(IL-17)is an important cytokine that can induce tissue inflammation and is involved in the pathogenesis of numerous autoimmune diseases.However,the regulation of its signaling transduction has not been well described.In this study,we report that thousand and one kinase 1(TAOK1)functions as a negative regulator of IL-17-mediated signal transduction and inflammation.TAOK1 knockdown promotes IL-17-induced cytokine and chemokine expression and the activation of mitogen-activated protein kinases and nuclear factor-κB.We further demonstrate that TAOK1 interacts with IL-17 receptor A(IL-17RA)independent of its kinase activity,and TAOK1 dose-dependently prevents the formation of the IL-17R-Act1(nuclear factor activator 1,also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 3 interacting protein 2)complex.Consistent with this,TAOK1 deficiency exacerbates colitis in the 2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid-induced experimental model of inflammatory bowel disease,likely by its promotion of the IL-17-mediated signaling pathway.TAOK1 expression is decreased in the colons of ulcerative colitis patients.In conclusion,these findings suggest that TAOK1 is involved in the development of IL-17-related autoimmune disorders. | Zhaoru Zhang Zhen Tang Xianwei Ma Kai Sun Liping Fan Jie Fang Jianping Pan Xiaojian Wang Huazhang An Jun Zhou | 2018 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,8: | 10 |
| 3 | Inductive heat property of Fe_3O_4 nanoparticles in AC magnetic field for local hyperthermia显示文摘Magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles with different magnetic properties were prepared by coprecipitation of Fe3+ and Fe2+ with aqueous NaOH solution. The inductive heat properties of Fe3O4 nanoparticles in an alternating current (AC) magnetic field were investigated for local hyperthermia. The maximum saturation magnetization Ms of Fe3O4 nanoparticles is 65.53 emu·g-1 under the optimum conditions of Fe3+: Fe2+ molar ratio at 1.8:1. The Ms of Fe3O4 nanoparticles decreased as the Fe3+/Fe2+ molar ratio increased. But the coercivity Hc increases with the increasing of Fe3+/Fe2+ molar ratio. Exposed in the AC magnetic field for 29 min, the temperatures of physiological saline suspension containing Fe3O4 nanoparticles were 42-97.5 ℃. | 6 | Sensitive detection of dopamine and quinone drugs based on the quenching of the fluorescence of carbon dots显示文摘In this work,we demonstrated that the quinone structure can quench the fluorescence of the carbon dots(CDs).The sensitive determination of dopamine(DA) was studied primarily based on this principle.DA would be transformed into DA quinone under alkaline conditions,which resulted in fluorescence quenching of the CDs.A good linear range from 5 nmol/L to 0.4 mmol/L was obtained and the detection limit was 1 nmol/L.Moreover,the quenching effect of quinone structure on the fluorescence of CDs was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectra,time-correlated single-photon counting and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.Remarkably,CDs were firstly applied to detect the quinone drugs quantitatively which contained typical quinone structure based on the quenching mechanism.More than this,the sensing platform was demonstrated to provide credible selectivity and satisfactory stability in human serum solution with good liner range.Hence,our practical application and mechanism have showed great potential for diagnostic purposes. | Xiangling Ren Jiejie Ge Xianwei Meng Xiaozhong Qiu Jun Ren Fangqiong Tang | 2016 | Science Bulletin2016,61,20: | 3 |
