3Differentiation of illicit drugs with THz time-domain spectroscopy显示文摘The terahertz time-domain spectroscopy(THz-TDS) was used for sensing and identifying illicit drugs.The absorption spectra of seven illicit drug samples(morphine and its hydrochloride,cocaine hydrochloride,codeine phosphate,papaverine hydrochloride,pethidine hydrochloride,and thebaine) were studied by THz-TDS at 0.3-2.0 THz at room temperature.The geometric structure and vibration frequencies of morphine were calculated by density functional theory.The four absorption features were dominated by intra-/inter-molecular collective or lattice vibration modes.Each illicit drug has a distinct signature in its THz spectra.The results indicate that the THz-TDS can be used to identify and discriminate illicit drugs by their characteristic fingerprints.LIU Guifeng MA Shihua JI Te ZHAO Hongwei WANG Wenfeng 2010Nuclear Science and Techniques2010,21,4:7
4Effect of platinum on the photocatalytic degradation of chlorinated organic compound显示文摘TiO 2 nanoparticles, doped with different Pt contents, were prepared by a modified photodeposition method using Degussa P-25 TiO 2 , H 2 PtCl 6 ·6H 2 O and methanol as the solvents. The physicochemical properties of Pt/TiO 2 were investigated by the nitrogen adsorption and desorption isotherm measurement technique, X-ray diffraction analysis and photoluminescence spectra, respectively. Reaction rates from photocatalytic removal of dichloromethane over Degussa P-25 TiO 2 and Pt/TiO 2 were evaluated. The average diameter and BET surface area of the TiO 2 catalyst particles were 300 nm and 50 m 2 /g, respectively. The degradation efficiency was 99.0%, 82.7%, 55.2%, and 57.9% with TiO 2 at inlet concentrations of 50, 100, 200, and 300 ppm, respectively. And the degradation efficiency was 99.3%, 79.7%, 76.5%, and 73.4% with a 0.005 wt.% Pt/TiO 2 at inlet concentrations of 50, 100, 200, and 300 ppm, respectively. In addition, we found that the photoluminescence emission peak intensities decreased with increases in the doping amount of Pt, which indicates that the irradiative recombination was weakened. 5Axiomatic design method to design a screw drive in-pipe robot passing through varied curved pipes显示文摘A screw drive in-pipe robot is promising inspection equipment for small pipes. However, most of the existing screw drive in-pipe robots have problems of motion interference and slipping inside curved or irregular pipes. These problems result from the coupled relations among the steering motion, the motion speed and the load ability of the robot. In order to deal with the problems, the axiomatic design(AD) theory is applied to evaluate and analyze the existing designs. Then an uncoupled concept design based on the AD theory is proposed and the complete AD decomposition process is presented. After that, the proposed robot based on a tri-axial differential angle modulation mechanism is designed to realize the uncoupled concept. Finally, the uncoupled property is verified in a dynamics simulation system. The simulation results indicate that the motion speed, load ability and steering motion of the proposed robot can be adjusted individually compared with the robots that have inclining-angle-fixed rollers. 9Fuzzy Theory Based Control Method for an In-pipe Robot to Move in Variable Resistance Environment显示文摘Most of the existing screw drive in-pipe robots cannot actively adjust the maximum traction capacity, which limits the adaptability to the wide range of variable environment resistance, especially in curved pipes. In order to solve this problem, a screw drive in-pipe robot based on adaptive linkage mechanism is proposed. The differential property of the adaptive linkage mechanism allows the robot to move without motion interference in the straight and varied curved pipes by adjusting inclining angles of rollers self-adaptively. The maximum traction capacity of the robot can be changed by actively adjusting the inclining angles of rollers. In order to improve the adaptability to the variable resistance, a torque control method based on the fuzzy controller is proposed. For the variable environment resistance, the proposed control method can not only ensure enough traction force, but also limit the output torque in a feasible region. In the simulations, the robot with the proposed control method is compared to the robot with fixed inclining angles of rollers.
