1Spatial pattern of soil organic carbon in desert grasslands of the diluvial-alluvial plains of northern Qilian Mountains显示文摘The soil properties in arid ecosystems are important determinants of vegetation distribution patterns.Soil organic carbon(SOC)content,which is closely related to soil types and the holding capacities of soil water and nutrients,exhibits complex variability in arid desert grasslands;thus,it is essentially an impact factor for the distribution pattern of desert grasslands.In the present study,an investigation was conducted to estimate the spatial pattern of SOC content in desert grasslands and the association with environmental factors in the diluvial-alluvial plains of northern Qilian Mountains.The results showed that the mean values of SOC ranged from 2.76 to 5.80 g/kg in the soil profiles,and decreased with soil depths.The coefficients of variation(CV)of the SOC were high(ranging from 48.83%to 94.67%),which indicated a strong spatial variability.SOC in the desert grasslands of the study region presented a regular spatial distribution,which increased gradually from the northwest to the southeast.The SOC distribution had a pattern linked to elevation,which may be related to the gradient of climate conditions.Soil type and plant community significantly affected the SOC.The SOC had a significant positive relationship with soil moisture(P<0.05);whereas,it had a more significant negative relationship with the soil bulk density(BD)(P<0.01).However,a number of the variations in the SOC could be explained not by the environmental factors involved in this analysis,but rather other factors(such as grazing activity and landscape).The results provide important references for soil carbon storage estimation in this study region.In addition,the SOC association with environmental variables also provides a basis for a sustainable use of the limited grassland resources in the diluvial-alluvial plains of northern Qilian Mountains.Rong YANG YongZhong SU Min WANG Tao WANG Xiao YANG GuiPing FAN TianChang WU 2014Journal of Arid Land2014,6,2:11

3Experimental study on nucleation process of stick-slip instability on homogeneous and non-homogeneous faults显示文摘The nucleation process of stick-slip instability was analyzed based on the experimental measurements of strain and fault slip on homogeneous and non-homogeneous faults. The results show that the nucleation process of stick-slip on the homogeneous fault is of weak slip-weakening behavior under constant loading point velocity. The existence of a short 'weak segment' on the fault makes slip-weakening phenomenon in nucleation process more obvious, while the existence of a long 'weak segment' on the fault makes the nucleation process changed. The nucleation is characterized by accelerating slip in a local region and rapid increase of shear stress along the fault in this case, which is more coincident with the rate and state friction law. 4Bioprinted constructs that simulate nerve-bone crosstalk to improve microenvironment for bone repair显示文摘Crosstalk between nerves and bone is essential for bone repair,for which Schwann cells(SCs)are crucial in the regulation of the microenvironment.Considering that exosomes are critical paracrine mediators for intercellular communication that exert important effects in tissue repair,the aim of this study is to confirm the function and molecular mechanisms of Schwann cell-derived exosomes(SC-exos)on bone regeneration and to propose engineered constructs that simulate SC-mediated nerve-bone crosstalk.SCs promoted the proliferation and differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)through exosomes.Subsequent molecular mechanism studies demonstrated that SC-exos promoted BMSC osteogenesis by regulating the TGF-βsignaling pathway via let-7c-5p.Interestingly,SC-exos promoted the migration and tube formation performance of endothelial progenitor cells.Furthermore,the SC-exos@G/S constructs were developed by bioprinting technology that simulated SC-mediated nerve-bone crosstalk and improved the bone regeneration microenvironment by releasing SC-exos,exerting the regulatory effect of SCs in the microenvironment to promote innervation,vascularization,and osteogenesis and thus effectively improving bone repair in a cranial defect model.This study demonstrates the important role and underlying mechanism of SCs in regulating bone regeneration through SC-exos and provides a new engineered strategy for bone repair.Tianchang Wang Wentao Li Yuxin Zhang Xiang Xu Lei Qiang Weiqiang Miao Xiaokun Yue Xin Jiao Xianhao Zhou Zhenjiang Ma Shuai Li Muliang Ding Junfeng Zhu Chi Yang Hui Wang Tao Li Xin Sun Jinwu Wang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,9:1

6Different therapeutic proportion of patients undergone coronary angiography in the era of development in MSCT显示文摘Objective To study the different therapeutic proportion of the patient populations undergone coronary angiography (CAG) in the era of development in multislice spiral computed tomography(MSCT). Methods Two hundred and fifty four consecutive patients(mean age 59.24±10.65) , who underwent CAG at Daxing Hospital from February 2007 through October 2007, were enrolled, 160 patients were male and 94 were female. By evaluating from the coronary angiogram, the patients were not diagnosed to have coronary heart disease(CHD) with less than 50% diameter stenosis of coronary artery; the patients to have CHD with more than or equal to 50% stenosis of coronary artery; the patients were performed the procedure of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) with more than or equal to 70% stenosis; the patients were proposed to have coronary aortic bypass graft(CABG) surgery with left main coronary artery lesions or diffuse triple coronary artery lesions. Results In the 254 consecutive patients, 59 patients(23.2%) had not been diagnosed to have CHD; 195(76.8%)to have CHD, of these patients with CHD, 49 patients(19.3%)were not indicated for PCI (including the patients receiving follow-up coronary angiography after stenting), 81(31.9%)had been performed the procedure of stent implantation, 57(22.4%)proposed to have CABG, 8(3.1%)the procedure of PCI had not been successful, or had not been performed because of patients opposing to this therapy. 9Incidence of Major Adverse Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Events in Chinese Patients Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention with Iodixanol: An Observational Postauthorization Study显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events(MACCEs)and overall safety profile associated with iodixanol in Chinese patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:Patients at 30 centers in China registered in the OpenClinic v3.6 database from October 30,2013,to October 7,2015,were included in the study.The primary endpoint was in-hospital MACCEs including target lesion revascularization(TLR),stroke,stent thrombosis,cardiac death,and PCI-related myocardial infarction(MI)within 72 h post-PCI.Secondary endpoints were MACCEs from 72 h to 30 d post-PCI and other safety events within 30 d post-PCI.Results:A total of 3,042 patients were enrolled.The incidence of MACCEs within 72 h post-PCI was 2.33%(n=71),including cardiac death(0.03%,n=1)and PCI-related MI(2.30%,n=70).The incidence of MACCEs from 72 h to 30 d post-PCI was 0.16%(n=5),including cardiac death(0.10%,n=3),PCI-related MI(0.03%,n=1),and TLR for stent thrombosis(0.03%,n=1).The incidence of composite angiographic or procedural complications was 2.86%(n=87);233(7.86%)patients had results suggesting contrast-induced acute kidney injury.Conclusions:These findings indicate that the use of iodixanol in Chinese patients undergoing PCI is associated with a low incidence of MACCEs,confirming its safety in this population.Xiaozeng Wang Dengfeng Ma Tianchang Li Bao Li Xi Su Yanqing Wu Zhimin Du Zheng Ji Ping Yang Baisong Yang Xuebin Cao Junxia Li Fengxia Hou Ziping Cheng Banglong Xu Yaling Han 2023Cardiology Discovery2023,3,2:0
