Influence of extrusion conditions on microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr magnesium alloy显示文摘In general, different extrusion conditions will affect the microstructure of magnesium alloys and further determine the mechanical properties. The effects of extrusion parameters and heat treatment processes such as extrusion speed,pre-forging,annealing time, extrusion ratio and cooling rate on the microstructure, texture evolution and tensile properties of Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr alloys were investigated in this study.Compared with the as-cast alloy, the extrusion process significantly refines the grains and exhibit the rare earth texture. With the increase of extrusion speed and annealing time, the growth of recrystallized grains is accelerated, leading to the increase of elongation.Large pre-forging deformation achieves to refine the grains by promoting recrystallization nucleation, resulting in increased strength of Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr alloy.Decreasing the extrusion ratio or increasing the cooling rate will introduce coarse un-DRXed grains, which transformed the texture into the basal texture. In particular, the effect of rapid cooling on refining the recrystallized grains is also obvious.Different extrusion conditions influence the mechanical properties of the Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr alloy through the grain size, proportion of non-recrystallization region and texture type. | Tianshuo Zhao Yaobo Hu Chao Zhang Bing He Tianxu Zheng Aitao Tang Fusheng Pan | 2022 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,2: | 4
Remotely mind-controlled metasurface via brainwaves显示文摘The power of controlling objects with mind has captivated a popular fascination to human beings. One possible path is to employ brain signal collecting technologies together with emerging programmable metasurfaces(PM),whose functions or operating modes can be switched or customized via on-site programming or pre-defined software.Nevertheless, most of existing PMs are wire-connected to users,manually-controlled and not real-time.Here,we propose the concept of remotely mind-controlled metasurface(RMCM)via brainwaves.Rather than DC voltage from power supply or AC voltages from signal generators, the metasurface is controlled by brainwaves collected in real time and transmitted wirelessly from the user.As an example,we demonstrated a RMCM whose scattering pattern can be altered dynamically according to the user’s brain waves via Bluetooth. The attention intensity information is extracted as the control signal and a mapping between attention intensity and scattering pattern of the metasurface is established. With such a framework,we experimentally demonstrated and verified a prototype of such metasurface system which can be remotely controlled by the user to modify its scattering pattern. This work paves a new way to intelligent metasurfaces and may find applications in health monitoring,5G/6G communications, smart sensors, etc. | Ruichao Zhu Jiafu Wang Tianshuo Qiu Yajuan Han Xinmin Fu Yuzhi Shi Xingsi Liu Tonghao Liu Zhongtao Zhang Zuntian Chu Cheng‑Wei Qiu Shaobo Qu | 2022 | eLight2022,2,1: | 1
In-situ transformed Mott-Schottky heterointerface in silver/manganese oxide nanorods boosting oxygen reduction, oxygen evolution, and hydrogen evolution reactions显示文摘The development of non-platinum group metal(non-PGM)and efficient multifunctional electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),oxygen evolution reaction(OER),and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)with high activity and stability remains a great challenge.Herein,by in-situ transforming silver manganese composite oxide heterointerface into boosted Mott-Schottky heterointerface through a facile carbon reduction strategy,a nanorod-like silver/manganese oxide with superior multifunctional catalytic activities for ORR,OER and HER and stability was obtained. The nanorod-like silver/manganese oxide with Mott-Schottky heterointerface(designated as Ag/Mn_(3)O_(4))exhibits an ORR half-wave potential of 0.831 V(vs.RHE)in 0.1 M KOH,an OER overpotential of 338 mV and a HER overpotential of 177 mV at the current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)in 1 M KOH,contributing to its noble-metal benchmarks comparable performance in aqueous aluminum-air(Al-air)battery and laboratorial overall water splitting electrolytic cell.Moreover,in-situ electrochemical Raman and synchrotron radiation spectroscopic measurements were conducted to further illustrate the catalytic mechanism of Ag/Mn_(3)O_(4)Mott-Schottky heterointerface towards various electrocatalytic reactions. At the heterointerface, the Ag phase serves as the electron donor and the active phase for ORR and HER,while the Mn_(3)O_(4)phase serves as the electron acceptor and the active phase for OER,respectively. This work deepens the understanding of the Mott-Schottky effect on electrocatalysis and fills in the gap in fundamental physical principles that are behind measured electrocatalytic activity, which offers substantial implications for the rational design of cost-effective multifunctional electrocatalysts with Mott-Schottky effect. | Ruiqi Cheng Kaiqi Li Huanxin Li Fengzhan Sun Xiaoqian He Tianshuo Zhao Jiao Zhang Chaopeng Fu | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,5: | 0
Atomically Dispersed Iron Active Sites Promoting Reversible Redox Kinetics and Suppressing Shuttle Effect in Aluminum-Sulfur Batteries显示文摘Rechargeable aluminum-sulfur(Al-S)batteries have been considered as a highly potential energy storage system owing to the high theoretical capacity, good safety, abundant natural reserves, and low cost of Al and S.However, the research progress of Al-S batteries is limited by the slow kinetics and shuttle effect of soluble polysulfides intermediates.Herein,an interconnected free-standing interlayer of iron sin-gle atoms supported on porous nitrogen-doped carbon nanofibers(FeSAs-NCF)on the separator is developed and used as both catalyst and chemical barrier for Al-S batteries. The atomically dispersed iron active sites(Fe-N_(4))are clearly identified by aberration-corrected high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy and X-ray absorption near-edge structure. The Al-S battery with the FeSAs-NCF shows an improved specific capacity of 780 mAh g^(−1)and enhanced cycle stability. As evidenced by experimental and theoretical results, the atomically dispersed iron active centers on the separator can chemically adsorb the polysulfides and accelerate reaction kinetics to inhibit the shuttle effect and promote the reversible conversion between aluminum polysulfides, thus improving the electrochemical performance of the Al-S battery. This work provides a new way that can not only promote the conversion of aluminum sulfides but also suppress the shuttle effect in Al-S batteries. | Fei Wang Min Jiang Tianshuo Zhao Pengyu Meng Jianmin Ren Zhaohui Yang Jiao Zhang Chaopeng Fu Baode Sun | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,10: | 0
A Systematic Review of Blockchain Technology for Government Information Sharing显示文摘Government information sharing(GIS)refers to that act of required or provided for duty government information, commercial information and public welfare information, and it is a basic issue of government services. However, the existing GIS has low transparency and is lack of flexibility between different departments.Aiming at such problems, this paper takes blockchain as a solusion, and systematically summarizes the development of digital GIS,the advantages and challenges of blockchain and its theoretical research and practical applications.Specifically,it reviews e-government interactive structure, big data and other solutions, analyses their imperfections, and puts forward blockchain-based solutions. The blockchain improves government service efficiency and data security, meanwhile it faces challenges in throughput and supervision. In order to meet these challenges, researchers propose solutions based on three data exchange scenarios:government-to-government,government-to-enterprise and government-toindividual.In addition to researches,blockchain-based GIS is put into use.The electronic licensing project of Nanjing(China)government is taken as an example to illustrate that blockchain has the ability to openly and securely verify, track, and exchange data,so as to improve management ability and public service level of government agencies. | Lu Zhang Jiarong Mao Yuting An Tianshuo Zhang Jixin Ma Chen Feng Xiaoyi Zhou | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,1: | 0
Rational design of vitamin C/defective carbon van der Waals heterostructure for enhanced activity, durability and storage stability toward oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Metal-free defective carbon materials with abundant active sites have been widely studied as low-cost and efficient oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalysts in metal-air batteries. However, the active sites in defective carbon are easily subjected to serious oxidation or hydroxylation during ORR or storage, leading to rapid degradation of activity.Herein,we design a van der Waals heterostructure comprised of vitamin C(VC)and defective carbon(DC)to not only boost the activity but also enhance the durability and storage stability of the DC-VC electrocatalyst. The formation of VC van der Waals between DC and VC is demonstrated to be an effective strategy to protect the defect active sites from oxidation and hydroxylation degradation, thus significantly enhancing the electrochemical durability and storage anti-aging performance. Moreover, the DC-VC van der Waals can reduce the reaction energy barrier to facilitate the ORR.These findings are also confirmed by operando Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and density functional theory calculations. It is necessary to mention that the preparation of this DC-VC electrocatalyst can be scaled up,and the ORR performance of the largely produced electrocatalyst is demonstrated to be very consistent.Furthermore, the DC-VC-based aluminum-air batteries display very competitive power density with good performance maintenance. | Ruiqi Cheng Kaiqi Li Huanxin Li Tianshuo Zhao Yibo Wang Qingyue Xue Jiao Zhang Chaopeng Fu | 2024 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,88,1: | 0
