| 1 | Effect of Wuziyanzong Pill on sperm quality and calcium ion content in oligoasthenospermia rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of Wuziyanzong treatment on the sperm quality and content of calcium ions(Ca 2+) in oligoasthenospermia rats.METHODS:A model of oligoasthenospermia was induced in 50 Sprague Dawley rats by treatment with tripterygium glycosides at 30 mg/kg per day for 8 weeks.They were divided randomly into a model group,a positive group(Huangjingzanyu capsule,3.01 g/kg),and low,medium and high dose Wuziyanzong treatment groups(2.30,4.60,9.20 g/kg crude drug respectively) with 10 in each group.Another 10 rats were used as a control group.The rats in the control and model groups were administered distilled water,while the rats in the remaining groups were administered Wuziyanzong for 30 d.The epididymides were removed,spermatozoa recovered and the sperm density and viability were measured.The spermatozoa were purified and the contents of Ca 2+ in the cytoplasm and mitochondria were detected by flow cytometry and atomic absorption spectrometry,respectively.RESULTS:After 8 weeks of treatment with tripterygium glycosides,the sperm density,sperm activity and the Ca 2 + content of spermatozoa in the model rats were all significantly decreased compared with the control group(all P<0.05).After 30 d treatment,the sperm density and activity improved and the Ca 2 + content of sperm were increased significantly in the medium and high dose Wuziyanzong treatment groups in comparison with the model group(all P<0.05).CONCLUSION:The Wuziyanzong treatment increased sperm density,improved sperm viability and enhanced the content of Ca 2+ in the sperm cytoplasm and mitochondria in this rat model of oligoasthenospermia. | Tongsheng Wang Jinling Huang Deling Wu Qing Li Xiangguo Liu Han Chen Lei Qiao Dongdong Li Jun Li | 2012 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,4: | 11 |

| 4 | Hymecromone:a clinical prescription hyaluronan inhibitor for efficiently blocking COVID-19 progression显示文摘Currently,there is no effective drugs for treating clinically COVID-19 except dexamethasone.We previously revealed that human identical sequences of SARS-CoV-2 promote the COVID-19 progression by upregulating hyaluronic acid(HA).As the inhibitor of HA synthesis,hymecromone is an approved prescription drug used for treating biliary spasm.Here,we aimed to investigate the relation between HA and COVID-19,and evaluate the therapeutic effects of hymecromone on COVID-19.Firstly,HA was closely relevant to clinical parameters,including lymphocytes(n=158;r=−0.50;P<0.0001),C-reactive protein(n=156;r=0.55;P<0.0001),D-dimer(n=154;r=0.38;P<0.0001),and fibrinogen(n=152;r=0.37;P<0.0001),as well as the mass(n=78;r=0.43;P<0.0001)and volume(n=78;r=0.41;P=0.0002)of ground-glass opacity,the mass(n=78;r=0.48;P<0.0001)and volume(n=78;r=0.47;P<0.0001)of consolidation in patient with low level of hyaluronan(HA<48.43 ng/mL).Furthermore,hyaluronan could directly cause mouse pulmonary lesions.Besides,hymecromone remarkably reduced HA via downregulating HAS2/HAS3 expression.Moreover,89%patients with hymecromone treatment had pulmonary lesion absorption while only 42%patients in control group had pulmonary lesion absorption(P<0.0001).In addition,lymphocytes recovered more quickly in hymecromone-treated patients(n=8)than control group(n=5)(P<0.05).These findings suggest that hymecromone is a promising drug for COVID-19 and deserves our further efforts to determine its effect in a larger cohort. | Shuai Yang Yun Ling Fang Zhao Wei Li Zhigang Song Lu Wang Qiuting Li Mengxing Liu Ying Tong Lu Chen Daoping Ru Tongsheng Zhang Kaicheng Zhou Baolong Zhang Peng Xu Zhicong Yang Wenxuan Li Yuanlin Song Jianqing Xu Tongyu Zhu Fei Shan Wenqiang Yu Hongzhou Lu | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4: | 2 |

| 10 | Spatial Heterogeneity of Agricultural Science and Technology Parks Technology Diffusion: A Case Study of Yangling ASTP显示文摘Agricultural science and technology parks(ASTPs) represent an important growth pole in China’s agricultural modernization.Clarifying their diffusion laws can optimize the technological diffusion process and improve its efficiency. Our study uses disaggregated spatial information in its model to analyze ASTP technology diffusion in a heterogeneous space. We constructed a comprehensive index system to evaluate the diffusion environmental quality and introduced the heterogeneous diffusion equation to calculate the technological diffusion probability. We applied this framework to a real-world scenario: the apple planting technology diffusion of the Yangling ASTP in the Loess Plateau, China. The results indicated: (1)the technological diffusion environment of the Loess Plateau advantageous apple producing area showed strong spatial heterogeneity caused by climate, topography, and external transportation links.(2) Under the combined effects of distance and spatial heterogeneity, the spatial diffusion pattern of the Yangling ASTP apple technology was expansion diffusion supplemented by hierarchical diffusion and banded diffusion, and (3) ASTP technology diffusion showed a strong distance attenuation effect, and the frictional effect of distance can be decreased by improving the diffusion environmental quality. | 13 | Design and Preparation of High Elastic Modulus Self-compacting Concrete for Pre-stressed Mass Concrete Structures显示文摘Requirements of self-compacting concrete(SCC) applied in pre-stressed mass concrete structures include high fluidity, high elastic modulus, low adiabatic temperature rise and low drying shrinkage, which cannot be satisfied by ordinary SCC. In this study, in order to solve the problem, a few principles of SCC design were proposed and the effects of binder amount, fly ash(FA) substitution, aggregate content and gradation on the workability, temperature rise, drying shrinkage and elastic modulus of SCC were investigated.The results and analysis indicate that the primary factor influencing the fluidity was paste content, and the main methods improving the elastic modulusof SCC were a lower sand ratio and an optimized coarse aggregate gradation. Lower adiabatic temperature rise and drying shrinkage were beneficial for decreasing the cement content. Further, based on the optimization of mixture, a C50 grade SCC(with binder amount of only 480 kg/m3, fly ash substitution of 40%, sand ratio of 51% and proper coarse aggregate gradation(V5-10 mm: V10-16 mm: V16-20 mm= 30%: 30%:40%)) with superior workability was successfully prepared. | 19 | Optimization methods of production layer combination for coalbed methane development in multi-coal seams显示文摘Based on the productivity equation of coalbed methane(CBM) wells, three indexes, main production layer optimization index, main production layer expansion index and capacity contribution index are proposed, with which the three-step optimization method of production-layer combination is established. In selecting main production layer, the coal seam thickness, CBM content, coal seam permeability, coal seam reservoir pressure and coal structure are considered comprehensively to evaluate the potential of the production layer. In selecting expansion of the main production layer combination, on the premise of ensuring full and slow desorption of the main production layer and non-exposure of the main production layer out of liquid surface, the degree of mutual interference between the main and non-main production layers is comprehensively evaluated by coupling the critical desorption pressure, layer spacing and reservoir pressure gradient difference. In optimizing production layer combination, the main concern is the economic efficiency of the combined layers. Only when the contribution coefficient of the main production layer is greater than 30% and the contribution index of the other production layers is more than 10%, the economic benefit of a CBM well after being put into production can be ensured.
