| 1 | Pravastatin alleviates lipopolysaccharide-induced placental TLR4 over-activation and promotes uterine arteriole remodeling without impairing rat fetal development显示文摘Preeclampsia is associated with over-activation of the innate immune system in the placenta,in which toll-like receptor 4(TLR4) plays an essential part.With their potent anti-inflammatory effects,statins have been suggested as potential prevention or treatment of preeclampsia,although evidence remains inadequate.Herewith,we investigated whether pravastatin could ameliorate preeclampsia-like phenotypes in a previously established lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced rat preeclampsia model,through targeting the TLR4/NF-κB pathway.The results showed that pravastatin reduced the blood pressure [maximum decline on gestational day(GD) 12,(101.33±2.49) mmHg vs.(118.3±1.37) mmHg,P<0.05] and urine protein level [maximum decline on GD9,(3,726.23± 1,572.86) μg vs.(1,991.03 ±609.37)μg,P< 0.05],which were elevated following LPS administration.Pravastatin also significantly reduced the rate of fetal growth restriction in LPS-treated rats(34.10% vs.8.99%,P<0.05).Further pathological analyses suggested a restoration of normal spiral artery remodeling in preeclampsia rats by pravastatin treatment.These effects of pravastatin were associated with decreased TLR4/NF-κB protein levels in the placenta and IL-6/MCP-1 levels in serum.Additionally,no obvious abnormalities in fetal liver,brain,and kidney were found after administration of pravastatin.These results provide supportive evidence for use of pravastatin in preventing preeclampsia. | Muyi Yang Zhenyu Diao Zhiyin Wang Guijun Yan Guangfeng Zhao Mingming Zheng Anyi Dai Yimin Dai Yali Hu | 2018 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2018,32,4: | 5 |
| 2 | Horizontal and vertical gene transfer drive sediment antibiotic resistome in an urban lagoon system显示文摘Rapid urbanization has resulted in pervasive occurrence of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)in urban aquatic ecosystems.However,limited information is available concerning the ARG profiles and the forces responsible for their assembly in urban landscape lagoon systems.Here,we employed high-throughput quantitative PCR(HT-q PCR)to characterize the spatial variations of ARGs in surface and core sediments of Yundang Lagoon,China.The results indicated that the average richness and absolute abundance of ARGs were 11 and 53 times higher in the lagoon sediments as compared to pristine reference Tibetan lake sediments,highlighting the role of anthropogenic activities in ARG pollution.Co-occurrence network analysis indicated that various anaerobic prokaryotic genera belonging to Alpha-,Deltaproteobacteria,Bacteroidetes,Euryarchaeota,Firmicutes and Synergistetes were the potential hosts of ARGs.The partial least squares-path modeling(PLS-PM)analysis revealed positive and negative indirect effects of physicochemical factors and heavy metals on the lagoon ARG profiles,via biotic factors,respectively.The horizontal(mediated by mobile genetic elements)and vertical(mediated by prokaryotic communities)gene transfer may directly contribute the most to drive the abundance and composition of ARGs,respectively.Furthermore,the neutral community model demonstrated that the assembly of sediment ARG communities was jointly governed by deterministic and stochastic processes.Overall,this study provides novel insights into the diversity and distribution of ARGs in the benthic habitat of urban lagoon systems and underlying mechanisms for the spread and proliferation of ARGs. | Hongjie Wang Liyuan Hou Yongqin Liu Keshao Liu Lanping Zhang Fuyi Huang Lin Wang Azhar Rashid Anyi Hu Changping Yu | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4: | 2 |
| 3 | Enhanced perovskite electronic properties via A-site cation engineering显示文摘Organic-inorganic halide perovskites have emerged as excellent candidates for low-cost photovoltaics and optoelectronics.While the predominant recent trend in designing perovskites for efficient and stable solar cells has been to mix different A-site cations,the role of A-site cations is still limited to tune the lattice and bandgap of perovskites.Herein we compare the optoelectronic properties of acetamidinum(Ace)and guanidinium(Gua)mixed methylammonium lead iodide perovskites and shed a light on the hidden role of A-site cation on the carrier mobility of mixed-cation lead iodide perovskites.The cations do not affect the bandgap of the perovskites since the orbitals from Ace and Gua do not contribute to the band edges of the material.However,the mobility of the Ace mixed perovskite is significantly enhanced to be an order of magnitude higher than that of the pristine perovskite.We apply the Ace mixed perovskite in hole-conductor-free printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells and obtain a stabilized PCE of over 18%(certified 17.7%),which is the highest certified efficiency so far. | Xufeng Xiao Yanmeng Chu Chunyu Zhang Zhihui Zhang Zexiong Qiu Cheng Qiu Huaixing Wang Anyi Mei Yaoguang Rong Gengzhao Xu Yue Hu Hongwei Han | 2021 | Fundamental Research2021,1,4: | 2 |

| 5 | Highly oriented MAPbI3 crystals for efficient hole-conductor-free printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells显示文摘Highly crystalline perovskite films with large grains and few grain boundaries are conducive for efficient and stable perovskite solar cells.Current methods for preparing perovskite films are mostly based on a fast crystallization process,with rapid nucleation and insufficient growth.In this study,MAPbI3 perovskite with inhibited nucleation and promoted growth in the TiO_(2)/ZrO_(2)/carbon triple mesoscopic scaffold was crystallized by modulating the precursor and the crystallization process.N-methylformamide showed high solubility for both methylammonium iodide and Pbl2 and hampered the formation of large colloids in the MAPbI3 precursor solution.Furthermore,methylammonium chloride was added to reduce large colloids,which are a possible source of nucleation sites.During the crystallization of MAPbI3,the solvent was removed at a slow controlled speed,to avoid rapid nucleation and provide sufficient time for crystal growth.As a result,highly oriented MAPbI3 crystals with suppressed non-radiative recombination and promoted charge transport were obtained in the triple mesoscopic layer with disordered pores.The corresponding hole-conductor-free,printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells exhibited a highest power conversion efficiency of 18.82%.The device also exhibited promising long-term operational sta-bility of 1000 h under continuous illumination at maximum power point at 55±5°C and damp-heat stability of 1340 h aging at 85°C as well as 85%relative humidity. | Shuang Liu Deyi Zhang Yusong Sheng Weihua Zhang Zhaotong Qin Minchao Qin Sheng Li Yifan Wang Chenxu Gao Qifei Wang Yue Ming Chao Liu Kai Yang Qingyi Huang Jianhang Qi Qiaojiao Gao Kai Chen Yue Hu Yaoguang Rong Xinhui Lu Anyi Mei Hongwei Han | 2022 | Fundamental Research2022,2,2: | 1 |

| 11 | Bioreactor performance and microbial community dynamics in a production-scale biogas plant in northeastern China显示文摘In cold regions,heating is necessary to maintain the continuous and steady year-round operation of biogas fermentation.In this study,changes in the liquid composition,biogas production,and microbial diversity in heated-and unheated-phase samples were evaluated in a production-scale biogas plant that was fed continuously with cattle manure as a mono-substrate in Heilongjiang province in northeastern China.The volatile solid(VS)and volatile fatty acid(VFA)contents both gradually decreased in the heated and unheated fermentation processes.The chemical oxygen demand(COD)removal efficiency in the unheated phase sampled on June 15(s-6-15)and October 15(a-10-15)and in the heated phase sampled on January 15(w-1-15)was 63.35%,44.2%and 44.0%,respectively.The biogas production yields were in agreement with the results obtained for the VS and VFA contents and COD removal efficiency.The performance of the reactor in the heated phase was less efficient than that in the unheated phase,and the biogas production efficiency in June-August was higher than that in the other months.However,the CH4 content in the biogas remained similar all year.Moreover,ARDRA(Amplified Ribosomal DNA Restriction Analysis)was used to study the microbial community composition in the fermentation process.The results showed that the methanogenic archaeal consortium consisted mainly of members of the genera Methanomicrobiales and Methanosarcinales.In the heated phase,hydrogenotrophic methanogens represented the dominant methanogen in w-1-15 feedstock.After fermentation,the strict aceticlastic methanogen Methanosaeta became the dominant methanogen.In the unheated phase,the hydrogenotrophic methanogens and aceticlastic methanogens were equivalent in s-6-15 feedstock and effluent,and aceticlastic methanogens were dominant in both a-10-15 feedstock and effluent.Assessments of the bacteria diversity of the microbial communities revealed that the common strains in the feed and effluent of the three samples included the rumen bacteria,Bacteroides,Clostridium,Ruminococcaceae and Proteobacteria. | Gao Yamei Yang Anyi Bao Jun Ma Ruxia Yan Lei Wang Yanjie Wang Weidong | 2017 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,1: | 0 |

| 13 | Micro-Retail Enterprises in China:Change and Continuity显示文摘Micro-retail enterprises (MREs) have had to adapt to changing conditions in regards to mobile payments (m-payments) and access to loans. The authors built on the published results of two previous surveys of MREs. One thousand nine hundred and ninety-eight MREs in four cities in China were surveyed in May and June of 2018 to determine the use and importance of m-payments to their business, their access to loans, and patterns of entrepreneurship. While some trends remain unchanged, at least two significant findings emerge. M-payments have not only gained almost universal acceptance by MREs in China;they are the overwhelmingly preferred payment method. In our last paper, we argued that “m-payments may represent a form of leapfrogging technology which will spur growth in this sector” and this paper provides additional evidence this is occurring. M-payments show every sign of being an example of a leapfrogging technology that is quickly changing the rules for retail in the MRE sector and opening new opportunities for businesses while lowering transaction costs, reducing fraud, and improving customer satisfaction. There are intriguing implications, including changes to the pace of m-payments replacing credit cards.
