| 1 | Global Dynamic Molecular Profiling of Stomatal Lineage Cell Development by Single-Cell RNA Sequencing显示文摘The regulation of stomatal lineage cell development has been extensively investigated.However,a comprehensive characterization of this biological process based on single-cell transcriptome analysis has not yet been reported.In this study,we performed RNA sequencing on 12844 individual cells from the cotyledons of 5-day-old Arabidopsis seedlings.We identified 11 cell clusters corresponding mostly to cells at specific stomatal developmental stages using a series of marker genes.Comparative analysis of genes with the highest variable expression among these cell clusters revealed transcriptional networks that regulate development from meristemoid mother cells to guard mother cells.Examination of the developmental dynamics of marker genes via pseudo-time analysis revealed potential interactions between these genes.Collectively,our study opens the door for understanding how the identified novel marker genes participate in the regulation of stomatal lineage cell development. | Zhixin Liu Yaping Zhou Jinggong Guo Jiaoai Li Zixia Tian Zhinan Zhu Jiajing Wang Rui Wu Bo Zhang Yongjian Hu Yijing Sun Yan Shangguan Weiqiang Li Tao Li Yunhe Hu Chenxi Guo Jean-David Rochaix Yuchen Miao Xuwu Sun | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,8: | 11 |

| 3 | Oxygen defect-rich double-layer hierarchical porous Co3O4 arrays as high-efficient oxygen evolution catalyst for overall water splitting显示文摘Construction of oxygen evolution electrocatalysts with abundant oxygen defects and large specific surface areas can significantly improve the conversion efficiency of overall water splitting.Herein,we adopt a controlled method to prepare oxygen defect-rich double-layer hierarchical porous Co3O4 arrays on nickel foam(DL-Co3O4/NF)for water splitting.The unique array-like structure,crystallinity,porosity,and chemical states have been carefully investigated through SEM,TEM,XRD,BET,and XPS techniques.The designated DL-Co3O4/NF has oxygen defects of up to 67.7%and a large BET surface area(57.4 m2g-1).Electrochemical studies show that the catalyst only requires an overpotential of 256 mV to reach 20 mA cm-2,as well as a small Tafel slope of 60.8 mV dec-1,which is far better than all control catalysts.Besides,the catalyst also demonstrates excellent overall water splitting performance in a two-electrode system and good long-term stability,far superior to most previously reported catalysts.Electrocatalytic mechanisms indicate that abundant oxygen vacancies provide more active sites and good conductivity.At the same time,the unique porous arrays facilitate electrolyte transport and gas emissions,thereby synergistically improving OER catalytic performance. | Puxuan Yan Meilin Huang Benzhi Wang Zixia Wan Mancai Qian Hu Yan Tayirjan Taylor Isimjan Jianniao Tian Xiulin Yang | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,8: | 1 |

| 6 | Yishen Huoxue decoction(益肾活血方) attenuates unilateral ureteric obstruction-induced renal fibrosis and hypoxia-induced reactive oxygen species generation via adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase/peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor coa显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effeicacy of Yishen Huoxue decoction(YSHX)on renal fibrosis induced by unilateral ureteric obstruction(UUO),and on reactive oxygen species(ROS)homeostasis in human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs).METHODS:Forty male mice were randomly divided into six groups,sham group,UUO group,UUO+resveratrol(RSV)(15 mg/kg)group,UUO+YSHX20 mg/kg group(UUO+YSHX-L),UUO+YSHX 40 mg/kg group(UUO+YSHX-M),UUO+YSHX 80 mg/kg group(UUO+YSHX-H).Western blotting was used to measure protein expression levels.Reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to measure the m RNA expression.Immunohistochemistry was used to examine the histopathological changes of kidney tissue sample.Cell apoptosis was measured by Annexin V/PI staining.Cell viability was measured using CCK-8/WST-8 assay.RESULTS:YSHX treatment reducedα-SMA and Col-4 expressions,and increased CD31 and VE-cadherin expressions in UUO model mice.In vitro,YSHX increased cell viability and decreased apoptosis of HUVECs under hypoxic conditions.YSHX inhibited ROS generation by activating adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK)/peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor coactivator-1α(PGC-1α)/silent mating-type information regulation2 homolog 3(Sirt3)signaling.CONCLUSION:YSHX treatment reduced 109 KJ UUO-induced renal injury and fibrosis.Furthermore,YSHX treatment attenuated hypoxia-induced oxidative stress by regulating AMPK/PGC-1α/Sirt3 signaling. | ZHONG Jian FANG Guiyu WANG Zixia CHEN Ping LU Dengyong SHI Xiaodong | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,6: | 0 |
