2Changing Rural Development Inequality in Jilin Province, Northeast China显示文摘Rural development inequality is an important practical issue during the course of full establishment of a ′moderately well-off society′ in modern China,and the objective understanding and evaluation of the status and regional inequality of rural development can provide scientific basis for ′building a new countryside′ and coordination development of rural-urban regions.Based on the county-level data of 2000,2005 and 2009,this paper examines the rural development inequality of Jilin Province in Northeast China by establishing a rural development index.The spatio-temporal dynamic patterns and domain factors are discussed by using the method of exploratory spatial data analysis and multi-regression model.The results are shown as follows.Firstly,most of the counties were in lower development level,which accounted for 58.3%,62.5% and 66.7% of the total counties in 2000,2005 and 2009,respectively.The characteristics of spatial inequality were very obvious at county level.For example,rural development level of Changchun Proper and the proper of seven prefecture-level cities were much higher than that of the surrounding regions.The counties in the eastern and northern Jilin Province were the lowest regions of rural development level,while the middle counties were the rapid growth areas in rural economy.Secondly,Moran′s I of rural development index(RDI) was 0.01,–0.16 and –0.06 in 2000,2005 and 2009,respectively,which indicated that spatial agglomeration of RDI was not obvious in Jilin Province,and took on the characteristic of random distribution.The counties of both the units and its adjacent units have higher development level(HH) were transferred from the western areas to the eastern areas,while the countries of both the units and its adjacent units have lower development level(LL) were diffused from the eastern to middle and western Jilin Province.Finally,the result of multi-regression analysis showed that the improvement of agricultural production condition,development of agricultural economics and the adjustment of industrial structure were the domain factors affecting rural development inequality of Jilin Province in the later ten years.CHENG Yeqing WANG Yanfei WANG Zheye LUO Xiaolong 2013Chinese Geographical Science2013,23,5:9
3Innovative endoscopic enucleations of the prostate--Xie’s Prostate Enucleations显示文摘In the past 2 decades,endoscopic enucleation of the prostate has become a safe and effective surgical treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH),with comparable outcomes to traditional surgeries.Transurethral vapor enucleation and resection of the prostate(TVERP),transurethral vapor enucleation of the prostate(TVEP),and ultrasound-navigated TVEP(US-TVEP)are new,innovative endoscopic enucleation procedures.These procedures are named Xie’s Prostate Enucleations(Xie’s Procedures for short).Current clinical data indicate that Xie’s Procedures are safe and effective treatment options for patients with BPH,especially for patients with larger prostates.Further prospective,randomized clinical trials compared with traditional transurethral resection of prostate(TURP)are still needed.Liping Xie Xiao Wang Hong Chen Xiangyi Zheng Ben Liu Shiqi Li Yeqing Mao Qiqi Mao Song Wang Jiangfeng Li Tillmann Loch 2018Asian Journal of Urology2018,5,1:6
4Sustainable Synthesis of Core-Shell Structured ZSM-5@Silicalite-1 Zeolite显示文摘Core-shell structured ZSM-5@Silicalite-1 zeolite could effectively hinder the deactivation of catalyst surface. Currently, organic structure directing agents(OSDAs) are necessary in the conventional route for the synthesis of this core-shell zeolite under hydrothermal conditions, which is costly and environmental-unfriendly. In this research, a synthesis of the core-shell structured ZSM-5@Silicalite-1 zeolite with a strategy of alcohol filling and zeolite seeding without any organic template or solvent is exhibited. The obtained products are well characterized by X-ray powder diffractometer(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), N2 sorption isotherms, solid magic angle spinning(MAS) NMR, temperature-programmed-desorption of ammonia(NH3-TPD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) techniques, in order to confirm the core-shell structure. 5The effects of different nitrogen sources on camptothecin content and related gene expression in Camptotheca acuminata seedlings显示文摘Camptotheac acuminata Decne is a unique tree species in China with an important secondary metabolite,camptothecin(CPT),used in the treatment of cancer.Nitrogen(N)is an important element that affects plant growth and the accumulation of CPT.Reports on the effect of N on CPT synthesis from a genetic perspective are scarce.To explore the effects of different N sources and levels on CPT synthesis in C.acuminata,two-year-old seedlings were fertilized with different concentrations of pure ammonium sulphate,source of ammonium N(NH4+-N),and potassium nitrate for nitrate N(NO3--N).Concentrations of 2.5,5,7.5,and10 g pot-1 NH4+-N and NO3--N were used.The results showed that 7.5 g NH4+-N and NO3--N treatments were best for growth and fresh weight of leaves.Compared with the other treatments,the CPT content,tryptophan synthase and tryptophan decarboxylase activities,and expression of the CaTSB and CaTDCl genes under the 2.5 g NH4+-N and NO3--N treatments peaked significantly at 30 days.However,the expression of CaTDC2 surpassed that of the other two genes at 60 days.Therefore,compared with NH4+-N source,the NO3--N source was more beneficial for growth,and NO3--N was better for CPT yield.Consequently,leaves of C.acuminata treated with 2.5 g NO3--N could be harvested after 30 days to obtain maximum CPT content.CaTDC1 is more closely linked to CPT synthesis.The results of this study improved the production of CPT in C.acuminata via fertilization.Xiaode Wang Sainan Bian Pengjie Chang Ninghang Wang Lingjuan Xuan Mingru Zhang Bin Dong Chao Zhang Jiasheng Wu Yeqing Ying Xiazhen Lin Yamei Shen 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,4:3
6Association between hsa-miR-34b/c rs4938723 T>C promoter polymorphism and cancer risk: a meta-analysis based on 6,036 cases and 6,204 controls显示文摘Objective: Emerging evidence shows that microRNAs(miRNAs) function as tumor suppressors or oncogenes in human carcinogenesis. A single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) located in the pri-miRNA promoter may affect the processing and expression of mature miRNA. However, previous studies showed conflicting results regarding the association of hsa-miR-34b/c rs4938723 T > C promoter polymorphism with cancer. Therefore, we conducted a meta-analysis to determine the association of polymorphism with cancer risk.Methods: A computerized search of PubMed, Web of Science, and Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) for publications on hsa-miR-34b/c rs4938723 T > C promoter polymorphism and cancer risk was performed and the genotype data were analyzed in a meta-analysis. Odds ratios(ORs) with 95% confidence intervals(CIs) were estimated to assess the association. Test of heterogeneity, cumulative meta-analysis, sensitivity analysis and assessment of bias were performed in our meta-analysis by STATA software 12.0.Results: There was no significant association between hsa-miR-34b/c rs4938723 polymorphism and overall cancer risk in the comparison models. Moreover, subgroup analysis revealed that the variant CT(OR =1.19, 95% CI: 1.03-1.37) and CC/CT(OR =1.18, 95% CI: 1.03-2.35) genotypes were associated with an increased risk of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) compared with wild-type TT genotype. However, a decreased risk of colorectal cancer(CRC) was found in the genetic model of CC/TT(OR =0.66, 95% CI: 0.47-0.92) and CC/CTTT(OR =0.67, 95% CI: 0.49-0.93). Conclusions: The results suggest that hsa-miR-34b/c rs4938723 polymorphism may play an opposite role in different types of cancer based on current studies, which is the main origin of heterogeneity in this metaanalysis. 7Further evidence for paternal DNA transmission in gynogenetic grass carp显示文摘Gynogenesis is an important breeding method in aquaculture and has been widely applied to many fish species.If gynogenetic progenies are to inherit paternal partial genomic DNA,this will increase genetic variation and will provide a useful outcome for breeding.In this study,we investigated the genetic variation in homeobox(Hox)gene clusters(Hox A4 a,Hox A9 a,Hox A11 b,Hox B1 b,Hox C4 a,Hox C6 b,and Hox D10 a)among koi carp(Cyprinus carpio haematopterus,KOC;the stimulation sperm source),grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idellus),and gynogenetic grass carp(GGC).We found paternal DNA(a special DNA fragment and Hox C6 b)derived from KOC and a recombinant gene belonging to Hox C6 b in GGC.We are the first to report the recombinant Hox C6 b in GGC.Our study provides further evidence for paternal DNA transmission to gynogenetic progenies,which is a finding with great significance for the genetic breeding of fish.Zhuangwen Mao Yeqing Fu Shi Wang Yude Wang Kaikun Luo Chun Zhang Min Tao Shaojun Liu 2020Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,9:2

12Spatio-temporal Dynamic of Quality of Life of Residents, Northeast China显示文摘Quality of life(QOL) is a hotspot issue that has attracted increasing attention from the Chinese Government and scholars, it is also a vital issue that should be addressed during the cause of ′establishing overall well-off society′. Northeast China is one of the most import old industrial bases in China, however, the industrial structure of heavy chemical industry and the development mode of ′production first, living last′ have leaded to series of social problems, which have also become a serious bottleneck to social stability and economic sustainable development. Through applying the methods of BP neural network, exploratory spatial data analysis(ESDA) and spatial regression model, this paper examines the space-time dynamics of QOL of the residents in Northeast China. We first investigate the indexes of QOL of the residents and then use ESDA methods to visualize its space-time relationship. We have found a spatial agglomeration of QOL of the residents in middle-southern Liaoning Province, central Jilin Province and Harbin-Qiqihar-Daqing area of Heilongjiang Province. Two third of the counties are low-low spatial correlation, and the correlative type of about 60% of the prefecture level areas keeps stable, indicating QOL of the residents in Northeast China shows a certain character of path dependence or spatial locked. 16KSN heterozygosity is associated with continuous flowering of Rosa rugosa Purple branch显示文摘Rose(Rosa spp.)plants flower via two contrasting methods:once flowering(OF)and continuous flowering(CF).Purple branch is a rare continuously flowering variety of Rosa rugosa that is extensively cultivated in China.However,the genetic basis of its CF behavior is unknown.We demonstrated that Purple branch is heterozygous for the TFL1 homolog KSN.One KSN allele with a 9kb Copia insertion was found to be identical to that from continuously flowering Rosa chinensis Old blush.The other allele was found to be a functional wild-type allele.The overall expression of KSN was closely linked to the floral transition,and it was significantly repressed in continuously flowering Purple branch compared with OF Plena.The promoter region of the normal KSN allele was hypermethylated,and histone methylation at H3H4,H3K9,and H3K27 of the KSN gene locus was modified in continuously flowering Purple branch.Silencing of the DNA methyltransferase genes MET1 and CMT3 and the histone methyltransferase gene SUVR5 in Purple branch led to enhanced KSN expression,but silencing of the histone demethylase gene JMJ12 suppressed KSN expression.Therefore,the CF habit of Purple branch may be due to reduced expression of KSN caused by the halved dose and may be associated with epigenetic modifications together with retrotransposon insertions along the chromosome.Our study revealed a novel mechanism underlying the CF behavior of rose plants.Mengjuan Bai Jinyi Liu Chunguo Fan Yeqing Chen Hui Chen Jun Lu Jingjing Sun Guogui Ning Changquan Wang 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:1

18Understanding the hydroxyl adsorption behavior at Pt electrode surface in high-temperature alkaline solutions显示文摘Since the application in fuel cell,the electrochemical adsorption of hydroxyl has received considerable attention in recent years.While most research mainly focus on the room temperature,in this paper,the electrochemical adsorption of hydroxyl in alkaline solution at high temperature was investigated.An unusual oxidation peak was observed at-0.27 V,suggesting new behavior of hydroxyl adsorption occurred.As is known two kinds of cation hydrated clusters exist in alkaline solution,(H_(2)O)_(x-1)M^(+)-H_(2)O-O_(ad)H and(H_(2)O)_xM^(+)-O_(ad)H.For K^(+)and Cs^(+),the cluster shows unstable structure due to the weak interaction between hydrated cation and OH^(-)especially at high temperature.However,For Li^(+),Na^(+)the cluster structure would be stable,as the interaction force between the hydrated cation and OH^(-)is so strong.It was revealed that the unusual oxidation peak has some relationship with the(H_(2)O)_(x-1)M^(+)-H_(2)O-O_(ad)H cluster(K^(+)and Cs^(+))absorbed at Pt electrode surface.When the temperature was raised,(H_(2)O)_(x-1)M^(+)-H_(2)O-and-O_(ad)H was disconnected,then the O_(ad)H absorbed at Pt surface got oxidated.Based on the SEM observation,it was showed the unusual electrochemical oxidation reaction would generate platinum oxides,blocking the reactive sites at Pt electrode surface,thus reducing the electrochemical reactivity of Pt electrode.Accordingly,parameters of alkaline concentration and temperature were systematically studied,it was found that increase temperature or alkaline concentration was in favor of the unusual oxidation reaction.This study provides more understanding of hydroxyl adsorption behavior at Pt electrode surface for the high temperature water solution environment.Bo Pan Biao Liu Shaona Wang Yeqing Lv Hao Du Yi Zhang 2023Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,54,2:0
19Unraveling the skatole biodegradation process in an enrichment consortium using integrated omics and culture-dependent strategies显示文摘3-Methylindole(skatole)is regarded as one of the most offensive compounds in odor emission.Biodegradation is feasible for skatole removal but the functional species and genes responsible for skatole degradation remain enigmatic.In this study,an efficient aerobic skatole-degrading consortium was obtained.Rhodococcus and Pseudomonas were identified as the two major and active populations by integrated metagenomic and metatranscriptomic analyses.Bioinformatic analyses indicated that the skatole downstream degradation wasmainly via the catechol pathway,and upstream degradation was likely catalyzed by the aromatic ring-hydroxylating oxygenase and flavin monooxygenase.Genome binning and gene analyses indicated that Pseudomonas,Pseudoclavibacter,and Raineyella should cooperate with Rhodococcus for the skatole degradation process.Moreover,a pure strain Rhodococcus sp.DMU1 was successfully obtained which could utilize skatole as the sole carbon source.Complete genome sequencing showed that strain DMU1 was the predominant population in the consortium.Further crude enzyme and RT-qPCR assays indicated that strain DMU1 degraded skatole through the catechol ortho-cleavage pathway.Collectively,our results suggested that synergistic degradation of skatole in the consortium should be performed by diverse bacteria with Rhodococcus as the primary degrader,and the degradation mainly proceeded via the catechol pathway.Qiao Ma Nan Meng Jiancheng Su Yujie Li Jiazheng Gu Yidi Wang Jingwei Wang Yuanyuan Qu Zelong Zhao Yeqing Sun 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,5:0
20Promotion mechanism of self-transmissible degradative plasmid transfer in maize rhizosphere and its application in naphthalene degradation in soil显示文摘Rhizospheres can promote self-transmissible plasmid transfer,however,the corresponding mechanism has not received much attention.Plant-microbe remediation is an effective way to promote pollutant biodegradation;however,some pollutants,such as naphthalene,are harmful to plants and result in inefficient plant-microbe remediation.In this study,trans-fer of a TOL-like plasmid,a self-transmissible plasmid loaded with genetic determinants for pollutant degradation,among different bacteria was examined in bulk and rhizosphere soils as well as addition of maize root exudate and its artificial root exudate(ARE).The results showed that the numbers of transconjugants and recipients as well as bacterial metabolic activities,such as xylE mRNA expression levels and catechol 2,3-dioxygenase(C23O)activ-ities of bacteria,remained high in rhizosphere soils,when compared with bulk soils.The number of transconjugants and bacterial metabolic activities increased with the increasing exudate and ARE concentrations,whereas the populations of donor and recipient bacteria were substantially unaltered at all concentrations.All the experiments consistently showed that a certain number of bacteria is required for self-transmissible plasmid transfer,and that the increased plasmid transfer might predominantly be owing to bacterial metabolic activ-ity stimulated by root exudates and ARE.Furthermore,ARE addition increased naphthalene degradation by transconjugants in both culture medium and soil.Thus,the combined action of a wide variety of components in ARE might contribute to the increased plasmid transfer and naphthalene degradation.These findings suggest that ARE could be an effectively al-ternative for plant-microbe remediation of pollutants in environments where plants cannot survive.Qiuyan Jiang Wenwei Lu Lei Zhang Yeqing Jin Yujing Wang Jun Chen Ziyi Ye Ming Xiao 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,5:0
