1Enhancing the expansion of a plasma shockwave by crater-induced laser refocusing in femtosecond laser ablation of fused silica显示文摘The dynamics of plasma and shockwave expansion during two femtosecond laser pulse ablation of fused silica are studied using a time-resolved shadowgraph imaging technique. The experimental results reveal that during the second pulse irradiation on the crater induced by the first pulse, the expansion of the plasma and shockwave is enhanced in the longitudinal direction. The plasma model and Fresnel diffraction theory are combined to calculate the laser intensity distribution by considering the change in surface morphology and transient material properties. The theoretical results show that after the free electron density induced by the rising edge of the pulse reaches the critical density, the originally transparent surface is transformed into a transient high-reflectivity surface(metallic state). Thus, the crater with a concave-lens-like morphology can tremendously reflect and refocus the latter part of the laser pulse, leading to a strong laser field with an intensity even higher than the incident intensity. This strong refocused laser pulse results in a stronger laser-induced air breakdown and enhances the subsequent expansion of the plasma and shockwave. 4Structure-Mediated Excitation of Air Plasma and Silicon Plasma Expansion in Femtosecond Laser Pulses Ablation显示文摘Femtosecond laser-induced surface structures upon multiple pulses irradiation are strongly correlated with the pulse number,which in turn signifcantly afects successive laser-material interactions.By recording the dynamics of femtosecond laser ablation of silicon using time-resolved shadowgraphy,here we present direct visualization of the excitation of air plasma induced by the refected laser during the second pulse irradiation.Te interaction of the air plasma and silicon plasma is found to enhance the shockwave expansion induced by silicon ablation in the longitudinal direction,showing anisotropic expansion dynamics in diferent directions.We further demonstrate the vanishing of air plasma as the pulse number increases because of the generation of a rough surface without light focusing ability.In the scenario,the interaction of air plasma and silicon plasma disappears;the expansion of the silicon plasma and shockwave restores its original characteristic that is dominated by the laser-material coupling.Te results show that the excitation of air plasma and the laser-material coupling involved in laser-induced plasma and shockwave expansion are structure mediated and dependent on the pulse number,which is of fundamental importance for deep insight into the nature of laser-material interactions during multiple pulses ablation.Qingsong Wang Lan Jiang Jingya Sun Changji Pan Weina Han Guoyan Wang Feifei Wang Kaihu Zhang Ming Li Yongfeng Lu 2018Research2018,,1:2

6Controllable synthesized step-scheme heterojunction of WO_(3)/CuBi_(2)O_(4) decorated WO_(3) plates for visible-light-driven CO_(2) reduction显示文摘Rational design and construction of step-scheme(S-scheme)photocatalyst has received much attention in the field of CO_(2) reduction because of its great potential to solve the current energy and environmental crises.In this study,a series of plate-like WO_(3)/CuBi_(2)O_(4)(WO/CBO)photocatalysts were synthesized.The CO and CH4 yields over optimal composite reached 1,115.8 and 67.2μmol/m2 after 9 h visible light illumination(λ>400 nm),which was higher than those of two pure catalysts in CO_(2) photoreduction.The product yields slightly decreased in the 7th cycling.Besides,the staggered band structure of heterojunction was characterized by diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(DRS)and valence band-X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(VB-XPS),and a S-scheme charge transfer mechanism was verified by detecting electron spin resonance(ESR)and XPS result about surface composition of WO/CBO catalyst in dark or light.This work may be useful for rational designing of S-scheme photocatalyst and provides some illuminating insights into the S-scheme transfer mechanism.Weina Shi Ji-Chao Wang Xiaowei Guo Xiu Qiao Fang Liu Renlong Li Wanqing Zhang Yuxia Hou Huijuan Han 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:1
7Amorphous hollow carbon film as a flexible host for liquid Na-K alloy anode显示文摘Compared with solid alkali metal anodes(Li, Na, K), liquid metal anodes(LMAs) could enable high-energy batteries due to their unique advantages, such as self-healing property and no dendrites. Among LMAs,liquid Na-K alloy anode has become a hotspot due to its high theoretical capacity, low redox potential and formation at room temperature(RT). However, it is challenging to utilize liquid Na-K alloy directly and independently as an electrode;and the high surface tension makes it more difficult to immerse into porous current collectors at RT. Herein, an amorphous hollow carbon film(AHCF) consisting of hollow spheres with significant surface defects has been designed to quickly infiltrate Na-K liquid alloy into the hollow carbon film at RT, forming a composite electrode(Na-K@AHCF). The symmetric cell with Na-K@AHCF could exhibit a cycle lifespan up to 400 h at 0.1 m A/cm^(2) and achieve stable stripping/deposition even at 5 mA/cm^(2). 8MoS_(2)core-shell nanoparticles prepared through liquid-phase ablation and light exfoliation of femtosecond laser for chemical sensing显示文摘Molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))-based nanostructures are highly desirable for applications such as chemical and biological sensing,photo/electrochemical catalysis,and energy storage due to their unique physical and chemical properties.In this work,MoS_(2)core-shell nanoparticles were first prepared through the liquid-phase processing of bulk MoS2by a femtosecond laser.The core of prepared nanoparticles was incompletely and weakly crystalline MoS_(2);the shell of prepared nanoparticles was highly crystalline MoS_(2),which wrapped around the core layer by layer.The femtosecond laser simultaneously achieved liquid-phase ablation and light exfoliation.The formation mechanism of the core-shell nanoparticles is to prepare the nanonuclei first by laser liquid-phase ablation and then the nanosheets by light exfoliation;the nanosheets will wrap the nanonuclei layer by layer through van der Waals forces to form core-shell nanoparticles.The MoS_(2)core-shell nanoparticles,because of Mo-S bond breakage and recombination,have high chemical activity for chemical catalysis.Afterward,the nanoparticles were used as a reducing agent to directly prepare three-dimensional(3D)Au-MoS_(2)micro/nanostructures,which were applied as surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)substrates to explore chemical sensing activity.The ultrahigh enhancement factor(1.06×10^(11)),ultralow detection limit(10-13M),and good SERS adaptability demonstrate highly sensitive SERS activity,great ability of ultralow concentration detection,and ability to detect diverse analytes,respectively.This work reveals the tremendous potential of 3D Au-MoS_(2)composite structures as excellent SERS substrates for chemical and biological sensing.ZUO Pei JIANG Lan LI Xin TIAN MengYao YUAN YongJiu HAN WeiNa MA Le HU LiFei HE ZhiCong LI Fang 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,3:0
9An analysis of correctness for API recommendation:are the unmatched results useless?显示文摘API recommendation is a promising approach which is widely used during software development.However,the evaluation of API recommendation is not explored with sufficient rigor.The current evaluation of API recommendation mainly focuses on correctness,the measurement is conducted by matching recommended results with ground-truth results.In most cases,there is only one set of ground-truth APIs for each recommendation attempt,but the object code can be implemented in dozens of ways.The neglect of code diversity results in a possible defect in the evaluation.To address the problem,we invite15 developers to analyze the unmatched results in a user study.The online evaluation confirms that some unmatched APIs can also benefit to programming due to the functional correlation with ground-truth APIs.Then we measure the API functional correlation based on the relationships extracted from API knowledge graph,API method name,and API documentation.Furthermore,we propose an approach to improve the measurement of correctness based on API functional correlation.Our measurement is evaluated on a dataset of 6141 requirements and historical code fragments from related commits.The results show that 28.2%of unmatched APIs can contribute to correctness in our experiments.Xianglong KONG Weina HAN Li LIAO Bixin LI 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,9:0

12Synergistic Catalysis of Enzymes and Biomimetic MOFs: Immobilizing Cyt c on Two-dimensional MOFs to Enhance the Performance of Peroxidase显示文摘Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) have been widely regarded as promising carriers for enzyme immobilization owing to their advantages in improving loading and regulating interaction with enzymes. However, they are still suffering from the problems of slow mass transfer and compromising activity. In this paper, the active two-dimensional(2D) MOF of Cu-TCPP(Fe)[TCPP=tetrakis(4-carboxy-phenyl)porphyrin], which possesses the biomimetic architecture of peroxidase, was adopted to anchor cytochrome(Cyt c) for the enhancement of catalytic activity. The atomic/nanometer thickness and micrometer lateral dimension of 2D MOFs can ensure the full exposure of immobilized enzymes and a shorter diffusion distance for the reactant molecules. Besides, the active carrier can provide synergistic catalysis and activity compensation during the reaction. 13Maternal Vascular Dysfunction in Congenital Heart Defects显示文摘Background:Research on fetal congenital heart defect(CHD)mostly focuses on etiology and mechanisms.However,studies on maternal complications or pathophysiology are limited.Our objective was to determine whether vascular dysfunction exists in pregnant women carrying a fetus with congenital heart defects.Methods:We conducted a case-control study.27 cases of pregnant women carrying a fetus with major CHD admitted to our hospital for delivery between April 2021 and August 2022 were selected.Every case was matched with about 2 pregnant complication-free controls without fetal abnormalities.The proangiogenic and anti-angiogenic factors and pregnancy outcomes were compared.Results:The proangiogenic factors include vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and placental growth factor(PlGF).The anti-angiogenic factors involve soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase 1(sFlt-1)and soluble endoglin(sEng).No differences were found in maternal plasma concentrations of PlGF,VEGF,and sFlt-1 between case-control groups when analyzed at 36 weeks≤gestational age(GA)<39 weeks and 39 weeks≤GA≤41 weeks.The concentrations of sEng in maternal plasma in the fetal CHD group were significantly higher than those in the control group:0.60(0.77)vs.0.32(0.26)ng/ml at 36 weeks≤GA<39 weeks,p=0.001 and 0.75(0.55)vs.0.28(0.27)ng/ml at 39 weeks≤GA≤41 weeks,p<0.001.Conclusion:Vascular dysfunction exists in pregnant women with fetal congenital heart defects,manifesting significantly elevated sEng concentration at delivery.Yanli Liu Fengzhen Han Jian Zhuang Yanqiu Ou Yanji Qu Yanyan Lin Weina Zhang Haiping Wang Liping Huang 2023Congenital Heart Disease2023,18,5:0
14Manifesting viscosity changes in lipid droplets during iodined CT contrast media treatment by the real-time and in situ fluorescence imaging显示文摘Computed tomography(CT) is one of the most commonly used non-invasive clinical imaging modalities to predict, diagnose and treat the disease. Iodinated contrast media(ICM) is a form of intravenous radiocontrast agent containing iodine, which enhances the visibility of hollow tissue structures in medical CT imaging. ICM may cause allergic reactions, contrast-induced nephropathy, hyperthyroidism and possibly metformin accumulation. It is significant to find out the risk factors, pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of adverse reactions caused by ICM. Revealing the changes of the lipid droplets(LDs)viscosity in pathophysiological processes such as cancer and iodined contrast media induced adverse reaction is not only important for monitoring the occurrence and development of some pathophysiological processes but also vital for the deep insight of the biological effects of LDs in these pathophysiological processes.
