1Science and Prediction of Heavy Rainfall over China:Research Progress since the Reform and Opening-Up of New China显示文摘This paper reviews the major progress on development of the science and prediction of heavy rainfall over China since the beginning of the reform and opening-up of new China(roughly between 1980 and 2019).The progress of research on the physical mechanisms of heavy rainfall over China is summarized from three perspectives:1)the relevant synoptic weather systems,2)heavy rainfall in major sub-regions of China,and 3)heavy rainfall induced by typhoons.The development and application of forecasting techniques for heavy rainfall are summarized in terms of numerical weather prediction techniques and objective forecasting methods.Greatly aided by the rapid progress in meteorological observing technology and substantial improvement in electronic computing,studies of heavy rainfall in China have advanced to investigating the evolution of heavy-rain-producing storms and observational analysis of the cloud microphysical features.A deeper and more systematic understanding of the synoptic systems of importance to the production of heavy rainfall has also been developed.Operational forecast of heavy rainfall in China has changed from subjective weather event forecasts to a combination of both subjective and objective quantitative precipitation forecasts,and is now advancing toward probabilistic quantitative precipitation forecasts with the provision of forecast uncertainty information.Yali LUO Jisong SUN Ying LI Rudi XIA Yu DU Shuai YANG Yuanchun ZHANG Jing CHEN Kan DAI Xueshun SHEN Haoming CHEN Feifan ZHOU Yimin LIU Shenming FU Mengwen WU Tiangui XIAO Yangruixue CHEN Huiqi LI Mingxin LI 2020Journal of Meteorological Research2020,34,3:10
2GNSS Spoofing Detection Based on Consistency Check of Velocities显示文摘Spoofing attacks for Global navigation satellite system(GNSS) would cause the abnormal changes of receiver measurements. Monitoring the abnormal changes is the main pattern of anti-spoofing techniques.Anomalies of Doppler shifts are important for GNSS spoofing detection. Most researchers focus on the consistency of Doppler such as the consistency of carrier Doppler and code rate. But the method is powerless in some cases.Doppler shift measurement is proportional to change rate of pseudorange, and the relationship would be broken in the case of spoofing attack. As both Doppler measurements and pseudoranges are related to velocity of receiver,two approaches of computing velocity can be used to check the consistency of Doppler shifts and pseudoranges measurements. An efficient spoofing detection method based on the consistency check of velocities is proposed in the paper. Principle of the method is given in detail and its performance evaluations are provided as well. 3Research of an SHPB Device in Two-by-Two Form for Impact Experiments of Concrete-Like Heterogeneous Materials显示文摘A split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB)device in two-by-two form,including the bar bundle form and the single cylindrical bar form,was designed in response to the demand for the dynamic mechanical experiments for brittle materials such as concrete,rock,etc.The stress waveforms generated through a projectile impacting two different types of incident bars have been studied based on the one-dimensional stress wave theory and numerical simulation method.At last,based on the established two types of mesoscale concrete models with random convex polyhedral aggregates,we performed comparison analysis of SHPB numerical simulations for concrete materials with bar bundle and single cylindrical bar separately,so as to provide technical support for the manufacture and development of this experimental device.The results showed that the introduced two-by-two form SHPB device expanded the scope of practical application,and the wave dispersion effect existing in a large-diameter bar can be evidently reduced when we employed the bar bundle form,indicating its applicability to the dynamic mechanical experiments of concrete-like heterogeneous materials.Ruiqi Guo Huiqi Ren Lei Zhang Zhilin Long Xiangyun Wu Hailu Wang 2021Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2021,34,4:2

5A high-quality Bougainvillea genome provides new insights into evolutionary history and pigment biosynthetic pathways in the Caryophyllales显示文摘Bougainvillea is a perennial ornamental shrub that is highly regarded in ornamental horticulture around the world.However,the absence of genome data limits our understanding of the pathways involved in bract coloration and breeding.Here,we report a chromosome-level assembly of the giga-genome of Bougainvillea×buttiana‘Mrs Butt’,a cultivar thought to be the origin of many other Bougainvillea cultivars.The assembled genome is∼5 Gb with a scaffold N50 of 151756278 bp and contains 86572 genes which have undergone recent whole-genome duplication.We confirmed that multiple rounds of whole-genome multiplication have occurred in the evolutionary history of the Caryophyllales,reconstructed the relationship in the Caryophyllales at whole genome level,and found discordance between species and gene trees as the result of complex introgression events.We investigated betalain and anthocyanin biosynthetic pathways and found instances of independent evolutionary innovations in the nine different Caryophyllales species.To explore the potential formation mechanism of diverse bract colors in Bougainvillea,we analyzed the genes involved in betalain and anthocyanin biosynthesis and found extremely low expression of ANS and DFR genes in all cultivars,which may limit anthocyanin biosynthesis.Our findings indicate that the expression pattern of the betalain biosynthetic pathway did not directly correlate with bract color,and a higher expression level in the betalain biosynthetic pathway is required for colored bracts.This improved understanding of the correlation between gene expression and bract color allows plant breeding outcomes to be predicted with greater certainty.Lan Lan Huiqi Zhao Suxia Xu Shenglong Kan Xiaoni Zhang Weichao Liu Xuezhu Liao Luke RTembrock Yonglin Ren Wayne Reeve Jun Yang Zhiqiang Wu 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,8:0
6Efficacy of suspended moxibustion stimulating Shenshu(BL23)and Guanyuan(CV4)on the amygdala-HPA axis in rats with kidney-Yang deficiency symptom pattern induced by hydrocortisone显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigated the effects of suspended moxibustion stimulating Shenshu(BL23)and Guanyuan(CV4)acupoints on the amygdala and HPA axis in our rat model and elucidated the possible molecular mechanisms of moxibustion on kidney-Yang deficiency symptom pattern(KYDS).METHODS:Sixty male Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into a control group(n=12)and an experimental group(n=48).Rats in the experimental group were given intramuscular injections of hydrocortisone to establish a KYDS model.The 48 rats successfully modeled were then randomly divided into a model group(model,n=12),a carbenoxolone intraperitoneal injection group(CBX,n=12),a moxibustion group(moxi,n=12),and a moxi+CBX group(n=12).In the moxi,the Shenshu(BL23)and Guanyuan(CV 4)acupoints were treated with moxibustion for 14 d.After treatment,measures were taken of serum levels of corticosterone(CORT),adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH),and corticotropinreleasing hormone(CRH).The expression of mineralocorticoid receptors(MRs),glucocorticoid receptors(GRs),11beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1(11β-HSD1),CRH,and ACTH in the rats’amygdala,hypothalamus,or pituitary(as appropriate)was detected.Data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance.RESULTS:Compared with those of the control group,the serum levels of CRH,ACTH,and CORT;the mRNA and protein expressions of MR,GR,and 11β-HSD1 in the amygdala;the mRNA and protein expressions of 11β-HSD1 in the hypothalamus;the CRH mRNA expression in the amygdala and hypothalamus;and the ACTH mRNA expression in the pituitary of the rats in the model group were all significantly decreased(P<0.05 or 0.01).After treatment with moxibustion,all the aforementioned observation indices except for 11β-HSD1 m RNA expression were ameliorated compared with those in the model group(P<0.05 or 0.01).CONCLUSIONS:Suspended moxibustion can effectively improve the serum levels of ACTH,CRH,and CORT and can up-regulate the mRNA and protein expressions of MR,GR,11β-HSD1,CRH,and ACTH in the amygdala and hypothalamus of KYDS rats.This may be one of the molecular mechanisms with which moxibustion alleviates KYDS.MIN Youjiang YAO Haihua WANG Zhiqin LUO Kaitao SUN Jie YUAN Zheng WU Huiqi CHENG Lihong 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,1:0
7Intelligent Recognition Using Ultralight Multifunctional Nano‑Layered Carbon Aerogel Sensors with Human‑Like Tactile Perception显示文摘Humans can perceive our complex world through multi-sensory fusion.Under limited visual conditions,people can sense a variety of tactile signals to identify objects accurately and rapidly.However,replicating this unique capability in robots remains a significant challenge.Here,we present a new form of ultralight multifunctional tactile nano-layered carbon aerogel sensor that provides pressure,temperature,material recognition and 3D location capabilities,which is combined with multimodal supervised learning algorithms for object recognition.The sensor exhibits human-like pressure(0.04–100 kPa)and temperature(21.5–66.2℃)detection,millisecond response times(11 ms),a pressure sensitivity of 92.22 kPa^(−1)and triboelectric durability of over 6000 cycles.The devised algorithm has universality and can accommodate a range of application scenarios.The tactile system can identify common foods in a kitchen scene with 94.63%accuracy and explore the topographic and geomorphic features of a Mars scene with 100%accuracy.This sensing approach empowers robots with versatile tactile perception to advance future society toward heightened sensing,recognition and intelligence.Huiqi Zhao Yizheng Zhang Lei Han Weiqi Qian Jiabin Wang Heting Wu Jingchen Li Yuan Dai Zhengyou Zhang Chris RBowen Ya Yang 2024Nano-Micro Letters2024,16,1:0
8Photoinduced reaction of potassium alkyltrifluoroborates,sulfur dioxide and para-quinone methides via radical 1,6-addition显示文摘A photoinduced reaction of potassium alkyltrifluoroborates,sulfur dioxide,and para-quinone methides under visible light irradiation at room temperature is developed,giving rise to diarylmethyl alkylsulfones in moderate to good yields.This reaction works well under photocatalysis with a broad substrate scope by using DABCO·(SO_(2))_(2)as the source of sulfur dioxide.Mechanistic study shows that this transformation is initiated by alkyl radicals generated in situ from potassium alkyltrifluoroborates in the presence of photocatalyst.The subsequent insertion of sulfur dioxide and radical 1,6-addition of para-quinone methides with alkylsulfonyl radical intermediates afford the corresponding diarylmethyl alkylsulfones.Min Yang Huiqi Han Hui Jiang Shengqing Ye Xiaona Fan Jie Wu 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,11:0
