1Unsteady aerodynamic modeling at high angles of attack using support vector machines显示文摘Accurate aerodynamic models are the basis of flight simulation and control law design.Mathematically modeling unsteady aerodynamics at high angles of attack bears great difficulties in model structure determination and parameter estimation due to little understanding of the flow mechanism.Support vector machines(SVMs)based on statistical learning theory provide a novel tool for nonlinear system modeling.The work presented here examines the feasibility of applying SVMs to high angle-of-attack unsteady aerodynamic modeling field.Mainly,after a review of SVMs,several issues associated with unsteady aerodynamic modeling by use of SVMs are discussed in detail,such as selection of input variables,selection of output variables and determination of SVM parameters.The least squares SVM(LS-SVM)models are set up from certain dynamic wind tunnel test data of a delta wing and an aircraft configuration,and then used to predict the aerodynamic responses in other tests.The predictions are in good agreement with the test data,which indicates the satisfying learning and generalization performance of LS-SVMs.Wang Qing Qian Weiqi He Kaifeng 2015Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,3:21
2Aerodynamic Modeling and Parameter Estimation from QAR Data of an Airplane Approaching a High-altitude Airport显示文摘Aerodynamic modeling and parameter estimation from quick accesses recorder (QAR) data is an important technical way to analyze the effects of highland weather conditions upon aerodynamic characteristics of airplane. It is also an essential content of flight accident analysis. The related techniques are developed in the present paper, including the geometric method for angle of attack and sideslip angle estimation, the extended Kalman filter associated with modified Bryson-Frazier smoother (EKF-MBF) method for aerodynamic coefficient identification, the radial basis function (RBF) neural network method for aerodynamic modeling, and the Delta method for stability/control derivative estimation. As an application example, the QAR data of a civil airplane approaching a high-altitude airport are processed and the aerodynamic coefficient and derivative estimates are obtained. The estimation results are reasonable, which shows that the developed techniques are feasible. The causes for the distribution of aerodynamic derivative estimates are analyzed. 3TAZ inhibits osteoclastogenesis by attenuating TAK1/NF-κB signaling显示文摘Osteoporosis is an osteolytic disorder commonly associated with excessive osteoclast formation.Transcriptional coactivator with PDZ-binding motif(TAZ)is a key downstream effector of the Hippo signaling pathway;it was suggested to be involved in the regulation of bone homeostasis.However,the exact role of TAZ in osteoclasts has not yet been established.In this study,we demonstrated that global knockout and osteoclast-specific knockout of TAZ led to a low-bone mass phenotype due to elevated osteoclast formation,which was further evidenced by in vitro osteoclast formation assays.Moreover,the overexpression of TAZ inhibited RANKL-induced osteoclast formation,whereas silencing of TAZ reduced it.Mechanistically,TAZ bound to TGF-activated kinase 1(TAK1)and reciprocally inhibited NF-κB signaling,suppressing osteoclast differentiation.Collectively,our findings highlight an essential role of TAZ in the regulation of osteoclastogenesis in osteoporosis and its underlying mechanism.Wanlei Yang Xuanyuan Lu Tan Zhang Weiqi Han Jianlei Li Wei He Yewei Jia Kangxian Zhao An Qin Yu Qian 2021Bone Research2021,9,3:6
4Differences and Similarities of Photocatalysis and Electrocatalysis in Two-Dimensional Nanomaterials:Strategies,Traps,Applications and Challenges显示文摘Photocatalysis and electrocatalysis have been essential parts of electrochemical processes for over half a century.Recent progress in the controllable synthesis of 2D nanomaterials has exhibited enhanced catalytic performance compared to bulk materials.This has led to significant interest in the exploitation of 2D nanomaterials for catalysis.There have been a variety of excellent reviews on 2D nanomaterials for catalysis,but related issues of differences and similarities between photocatalysis and electrocatalysis in 2D nanomaterials are still vacant.Here,we provide a comprehensive overview on the differences and similarities of photocatalysis and electrocatalysis in the latest 2D nanomaterials.Strategies and traps for performance enhancement of 2D nanocatalysts are highlighted,which point out the differences and similarities of series issues for photocatalysis and electrocatalysis.In addition,2D nanocatalysts and their catalytic applications are discussed.Finally,opportunities,challenges and development directions for 2D nanocatalysts are described.The intention of this review is to inspire and direct interest in this research realm for the creation of future 2D nanomaterials for photocatalysis and electrocatalysis.Weiqi Qian Suwen Xu Xiaoming Zhang Chuanbo Li Weiyou Yang Chris RBowen Ya Yang 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,10:4
5Chimeric Newcastle Disease Virus-like Particles Containing DC-Binding Peptide-Fused Haemagglutinin Protect Chickens from Virulent Newcastle Disease Virus and H9N2 Avian Influenza Virus Challenge显示文摘Newcastle disease virus(NDV)and H9N2 subtype Avian influenza virus(AIV)are two notorious avian respiratory pathogens that cause great losses in the poultry industry.Current inactivated commercial vaccines against NDV and AIV have the disadvantages of inadequate mucosal responses,while an attenuated live vaccine bears the risk of mutation.Dendritic cell(DC)targeting strategies are attractive for their potent mucosal and adaptive immune-stimulating ability against respiratory pathogens.In this study,DC-binding peptide(DCpep)-decorated chimeric virus-like particles(cVLPs),containing NDV haemagglutinin–neuraminidase(HN)and AIV haemagglutinin(HA),were developed as a DC-targeting mucosal vaccine candidate.DCpep-decorated cVLPs activated DCs in vitro,and induced potent immune stimulation in chickens,with enhanced secretory immunoglobulin A(sIgA)secretion and splenic T cell differentiation.40μg cVLPs can provide full protection against the challenge with homologous,heterologous NDV strains,and AIV H9N2.In addition,DCpep-decorated cVLPs could induce a better immune response when administered intranasally than intramuscularly,as indicated by robust s IgA secretion and a reduced virus shedding period.Taken together,this chimericVLPs are a promising vaccine candidate to control NDV and AIV H9N2 and a useful platform bearing multivalent antigens.Xiaohong Xu Jing Qian Lingsong Qin Jindou Li Cong Xue Jiaxin Ding Weiqi Wang Wei Ding Renfu Yin Ningyi Jin Zhuang Ding 2020Virologica Sinica2020,35,4:4

13Integrating structure and function:mapping the hierarchical spatial heterogeneity of urban landscapes显示文摘Background:Cities are social-ecological systems characterized by remarkably high spatial and temporal heterogeneity,which are closely related to myriad urban problems.However,the tools to map and quantify this heterogeneity are lacking.We here developed a new three-level classification scheme,by considering ecosystem types(level 1),urban function zones(level 2),and land cover elements(level 3),to map and quantify the hierarchical spatial heterogeneity of urban landscapes.Methods:We applied the scheme using an object-based approach for classification using very high spatial resolution imagery and a vector layer of building location and characteristics.We used a top-down classification procedure by conducting the classification in the order of ecosystem types,function zones,and land cover elements.The classification of the lower level was based on the results of the higher level.We used an objectbased methodology to carry out the three-level classification.Results:We found that the urban ecosystem type accounted for 45.3%of the land within the Shenzhen city administrative boundary.Within the urban ecosystem type,residential and industrial zones were the main zones,accounting for 38.4%and 33.8%,respectively.Tree canopy was the dominant element in Shenzhen city,accounting for 55.6%over all ecosystem types,which includes agricultural and forest.However,in the urban ecosystem type,the proportion of tree canopy was only 22.6%because most trees were distributed in the forest ecosystem type.The proportion of trees was 23.2% in industrial zones,2.2%higher than that in residential zones.That information“hidden”in the usual statistical summaries scaled to the entire administrative unit of Shenzhen has great potential for improving urban management.Conclusions:This paper has taken the theoretical understanding of urban spatial heterogeneity and used it to generate a classification scheme that exploits remotely sensed imagery,infrastructural data available at a municipal level,and object-based spatial analysis.For effective planning and management,the hierarchical levels of landscape classification(level 1),the analysis of use and cover by urban zones(level 2),and the fundamental elements of land cover(level 3),each exposes different respects relevant to city plans and management.Yuguo Qian Weiqi Zhou Steward T.A.Pickett Wenjuan Yu Dingpeng Xiong Weimin Wang Chuanbao Jing 2020Ecological Processes2020,9,1:1

18Polydopamine nanolayer assisted internal photo-deposition of CdS nanocrystals for stable cosensitized photoanode显示文摘Hydrogen evolution via photo-electro-chemical(PEC)co-catalysis is potential for solving energy crisis and environmental issues.The rapidly advances of fabrication and broad applications of polydopamine(PDA)and its derivatives have drawn intense attentions in recent years.Herein,an ultrathin PDA coating with nanometer accuracy was conformally grown on TiO_(2) nanotube arrays(NTAs)via electrochemical polymerization,in which the polymer provided a platform for further photoinduced assembly of CdS nanocrystals in the embedded mode.The optimized CdS@PDA/TiO_(2) NTAs hierarchical heterostructure as photoanode gave an excellent PEC performance and exhibited outstanding stability under light irradiation.The photocurrent density was heightened to 5.48 mA·cm^(–2),which was beneficial to H_(2) evolution with a rate of 20μmol·h^(–1)·cm^(–2).The improvement of PEC activity was ascribed to co-photosensitization,optimized carriers transfer,and transport route arised from CdS embedding,resulting to provide a persistent driving force for charge separation based on secure heterojunction of CdS/TiO_(2) glued by PDA.The improvement of PEC stability was due to the inhibition of CdS photocorrosion covered by PDA shelter.This advance boded well for the development of PEC field founded on multifunctional PDA.Na Li Lu Han Hainan Zhang Juntong Huang Xudong Luo Xibao Li Yuanhao Wang Weiqi Qian Ya Yang 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:0
19Piezoelectric Materials for Controlling Electro-Chemical Processes显示文摘Piezoelectric materials have been analyzed for over 100 years,due to their ability to convert mechanical vibrations into electric charge or electric fields into a mechanical strain for sensor,energy harvesting,and actuator applications.A more recent development is the coupling of piezoelectricity and electro-chemistry,termed piezo-electro-chemistry,whereby the piezoelectrically induced electric charge or voltage under a mechanical stress can influence electro-chemical reactions.There is growing interest in such coupled systems,with a corresponding growth in the number of associated publications and patents.This review focuses on recent development of the piezo-electro-chemical coupling multiple systems based on various piezoelectric materials.It provides an overview of the basic characteristics of piezoelectric materials and comparison of operating conditions and their overall electro-chemical performance.The reported piezo-electro-chemical mechanisms are examined in detail.Comparisons are made between the ranges of material morphologies employed,and typical operating conditions are discussed.In addition,potential future directions and applications for the development of piezo-electro-chemical hybrid systems are described.This review provides a comprehensive overview of recent studies on how piezoelectric materials and devices have been applied to control electro-chemical processes,with an aim to inspire and direct future efforts in this emerging research field.Weiqi Qian Weiyou Yang Yan Zhang Chris R.Bowen Ya Yang 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,11:0
