1Study of spatial distribution of sandy desertification in North China in recent 10 years显示文摘Sandy desertification is a land degradation characterized by wind erosion, mainly resulted from the excessive human activities in arid, semiarid and part of sub-humid regions in North China. It is one of main kinds of desertification/land degradation as well as water-soil erosion and salinization in China. Rapid and continuous spread of sandy desertification during last 50 years has created a major environmental and socio-economic problem in North China. Remote sensing monitored results in 2000 showed that the sandy desertified land area has been 38.57×104 km2. The area of potential to slightly sandy desertified land is 13.93×104 km2, moderately land 9.977×104 km2, severely land 7.909×104 km2 and very severely land 6.756×104km2. Sandy desertification mainly occurs in the semi-arid mixed farming-grazing zone and its northern rangeland zone, semi-arid dryland rainfed cropping zone and arid oasis-desert margin zone. The average annually developmental rate of sandy desertified land increased from 2,100tion in North China is 'overall deterioration, while local rehabilitation'. 3Lamprey buccal gland secretory protein-2 (BGSP-2) inhibits human T lymphocyte proliferation显示文摘Lamprey is a representative of the agnathans, the most ancient class of vertebrates. Parasitic lampreys secrete anticoagulantfrom their buccal glands and prevent blood coagulation of host fishes. We identified a buccal gland secretory protein-2(BGSP-2) from a buccal gland cDNA library of Lampetra japonica. The full-length BGSP-2 gene was cloned and the recombinantBGSP-2 protein was generated. The role of BGSP-2 on lymphocyte proliferation was studied by examining its effects onhuman T lymphocytes. We found that lamprey BGSP-2 was able to effectively block the proliferation of T cells in vitro by inducingG_1/S cell cycle arrest. Furthermore, it inhibited the proliferation of human T lymphocytes stimulated by phytohemagglutinin(PHA) at a minimum concentration of 0.1μg/ml. 4Endoscopic characteristics in predicting prognosis of biopsy-diagnosed gastric low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia显示文摘Background: Endoscopic biopsy can underestimate gastric malignancies as low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia (LGIN). Definitively diagnosed LGIN would progress. This study aimed to evaluate predictive factors to identify malignancies misdiagnosed as LGIN by biopsy and LGIN at high risk of progression.Methods: The clinical records of patients diagnosed with gastric LGIN by endoscopic biopsy who underwent at least two endoscopies during the first year of follow-up between 2007 and 2017 were retrospectively collected. Three endoscopists reviewed photographs of the initial endoscopy, described lesion characteristics, and made endoscopic diagnoses. Logistic regression was used to analyze predictors to identify malignancies underestimated as LGIN. A receiver operating characteristic curve was used to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of these predictors. Patient clinical outcomes of follow-up >1 year were collected. Kaplan-Meier estimates with log-rank tests and Cox proportional hazards regression were used to analyze predictors of progression.Results: Overall, 48 of 182 (26.4%) patients were proven to have malignancies. A single lesion, a large lesion size, and marked intestinal metaplasia (IM) were independent predictors of initially misdiagnosed malignancies. The area under the curve of these predictors was 0.871, with a sensitivity of 68.7% and specificity of 92.5%. Twelve of 98 patients (12.2%) progressed during the 33-month median follow-up period. A whitish appearance, irregular margins, marked IM, and histological diagnosis of LGIN more than twice within the first year were predictors for progression.Conclusions: Lesions diagnosed as LGIN by biopsy with marked IM and other predictors above should be prudently treated for high potential to be malignancies or progress. 7Improved optimal steering law for SGCMG and adaptive attitude control of flexible spacecraft显示文摘The issue of attitude maneuver of a flexible spacecraft is investigated with single gimbaled control moment gyroscopes(SGCMGs) as an actuator. To solve the inertia uncertainty of the system, an adaptive attitude control algorithm is designed by applying a radial basis function(RBF) neural network. An improved steering law for SGCMGs is proposed to achieve the optimal output torque. It enables the SGCMGs not only to avoid singularity,but also to output more precise torque. In addition, global, uniform,ultimate bounded stability of the attitude control system is proved via the Lyapunov technique. 8Multi-channel multiplexing quantum teleportation based on the entangled sideband modes显示文摘Quantum teleportation is a key primitive across a number of quantum information tasks and represents a fundamental ingredient for many quantum technologies. Channel capacity, other than the fidelity, becomes another focus of quantum communication. Here, we present a 5-channel multiplexing continuous-variable quantum teleportation protocol in the optical frequency comb system, exploiting five-order entangled sideband modes.Because of the resonant electro-optical modulation(EOM) that is specifically designed, the fidelities of five channels are greater than 0.78, which are superior to the no-cloning limit of 2∕3. 9Investing and Pricing with Supply Uncertainty in Electricity Market:A General View Combining Wholesale and Retail Market显示文摘Renewable energy,such as wind and solar energy,may vary signifi cantly over time and locations depending on the weather and the climate conditions.This leads to the supply uncertainty in the electricity(power) market with renewable energy integrated to power grid.In this paper,electricity in the market is classified into two types:stablesupply electricity(SSE) and unstablesupply electricity(USE).We investigate the investment and pricing strategies under the electricity supply uncertainty in wholesale and retail electricity market.In particular,our model combines the wholesale and retail market and capture the dominant players,i.e.,consumers,power plant(power operator),and electricity supplier.To derive the market behaviors of these players,we formulate the market decision problems as a multistage Stackelberg game.By solving the game model,we obtain the optimal,with closedform,wholesale investment and retail pricing strategy for the operator.We also obtain the energy supplier's best price mechanism numerically under certain assumption.We fi nd the price of SSE being about 1.4 times higher than that of USE will benefi t energy supplieroptimally,under which power plant's optimal strategy of investing is to purchase USE about 4.5 times much more than SSE.LI Xiaobo GAO Li WANG Gongpu GAO Feifei WU Qingwei 2015China Communications2015,12,3:2
10Metabolic changes of prefrontal cerebral lobe,white matter and cerebellum in patients with post-stroke depression A proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy study显示文摘BACKGROUND: Proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-MRS) non-invasively detects changes in chemical substances in the brain,which reflects the pathological metabolism. OBJECTIVE: To investigate changes in N-acetyl-aspartate (NAA),choline (Cho),creatine (Cr),and myoinositol (MI) in the gray and white matter of cerebral prefrontal lobe and cerebellum of patients with differential degrees of post-stroke depression (PSD) using 1H-MRS. DESIGN: A case control study. SETTING: The First Affiliated Hospital of the Dalian Medical University. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 38 patients with stroke (28 male and 10 female patients,aged 40 to 79 years) were selected from the Department of Neurology,1st Affiliated Hospital,Dalian Medical University,from February to October in 2004. All subjects met the DSM-IV criteria for cerebrovascular disease and depression. The degree of depression was defined according to Hamilton criteria. 38 patients with PSD were divided into two groups according to the time after ischemia,20 patients in the acute group with less than 10 days after ischemic attack (mild: 16 patients,moderate/severe: 4 patients) and 18 patients in the chronic group with more than 11 days after ischemic attack (mild: 15 patients,moderate/severe: 3 patients). Seventeen healthy volunteers with matching age from 41 to 80 years were examined as a control group. The study was approved by the Medical Ethics Committee of the University Medical Center Utrecht,and each participant signed an informed consent form. METHODS: Spectra were acquired by multi-voxel point-resolved spectroscopy (PRESS) sequence with GE signa1.5T MR/i,localized in prefrontal cerebral lobe and cerebellum. Values of NAA,Cho,MI,and Cr ere compared between different graded PSD patients and control subjects with one-way analysis of variance in software SPSS11.5. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Metabolite concentration in different brain regions of interest. Difference in metabolites between distinctly graded PSD patients and control subjects. Exclusion of age-effects on metabolites. RESULTS: Metabolite concentrations of different brain regions: A significant rise in the Cho/Cr ratio was detected in the acute and chronic group compared to the control group. The ratio change was more significant in the acute group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference between these three groups for other metabolites detected by 1H-MRS in the right frontal white matter,bilateral frontal grey matter,and cerebellum (P > 0.05). Comparison of metabolite levels among differently graded PSD patients and control subjects: a significant increase in the Cho/Cr ratio was detected in the left frontal white matter compared to the control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in age between patients in the stroke groups and the control group (P > 0.05),and similarly,there was no significant correlation between age and absolute or relative values in the control group (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: Abnormalities of frontal lobe in PSD were located in the white matter. 14Analysis of elastoplasticity and rheology due to mining subsidence显示文摘At present, as the easily mining resources are being increasingly depleted, the exploitation of coal under buildings, water-bodies and railways is imminent for the sustainable production. Probability in-tegral method is a general method for mining subsidence in the coal system. Because of poor under-standing of mining subsidence for other sections, the authors suggest probability integral method for the study of coal mining under buildings, water-bodies and railways. Moreover, the calculation result of probability integral method should be corrected by numerical simulation method. Based on practical projects, the impact has been evaluated on the security of Xifeihe left embankment under coal mining. Combining with the results of probability integral method, we propose that the 600 m far from em-bankment is a good rationality. This article provides the basis for the rational exploitation of coal re-source which is a major practical problem under the premise of Water Infrastructure Security. 19A geochronological and geochemical study on the granodiorite porphyry and its implication for the mineralization in the Dayaoshan metallogenic belt,Southeastern China显示文摘A systematic study combining U-Pb zircon dating,lithogeochemical and Sr-Nd isotopic analyses was carried out upon the Xinping granodiorite porphyry in the Dayaoshan metallogenic belt to understand its petrogenesis and tectonic significance.LA-ICP-MS U-Pb zircon dating yielded a 442.7±5.8 Ma age,indicating that the granodiorite porphyry was emplaced during the Llandovery Silurian of the Early Paleozoic.The granodiorite porphyry shares the same geochemical characteristics such as Eu negative anomaly as other syn-tectonic granite plutons in the region,including the granodiorite porphyry in Dawangding and granite porphyries in the Dali Cu-Mo deposit and Longtoushang old deposit,indicating a similar magma evolution process.The Xinping granodiorite porphyry has high contents of SiO2(67.871.8%)and K2O(1.78-3.42%)and is metaluminous-peraluminous with A/CNK ratios ranging from 0.97 to 1.06,indicative of high-potassium calc-alkaline to calc-alkaline affinity.It is a I-type granite enriched in large ion lithophile elements Rb,Sr,while depleted in Ba and high field-strength element Nb.Tectonically,a collision between the Yunkai Block from the south and the Guangxi Yunnan-North Vietnam Block from the north during the Early Paleozoic was followed by uplifting of the Dayaoshan terrane.The Xinping granodiorite porphyry was likely emplaced during the collision.Sr-Nd isotopic analyses show that the granodiorite porphyry has initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios(Isr)of 0.7080-0.7104,εNd(t)range from-0.08 to-4.09,and t2DM between 1.19 and 1.51 Ga,well within the north-east low-value zone of the Cathaysia block,indicating a Paleoproterozoic Cathaysia basement source and an involvement of under plating mantle magma.Field observations,geochronological data,and 3D spatial distribution all lead to the conclusion that the Early Paleozoic Xinping granodiorite porphyry does not have any metallogenic and temporal relationships with the Xinping gold deposit(which has a Jurassic-Early Cretaceous age based on previous studies)but a close metallogenic relation to W-Mo mineralization.Panfeng Liu Jiali Zhang Zhiqiang Wu Qingwei Zhang Meilan Wen Xianrong Luo Chaojie Zheng Wenbin Huang 2021Acta Geochimica2021,40,1:1
