| 1 | Dissecting human embryonic skeletal stem cell ontogeny by single-cell transcriptomic and functional analyses显示文摘Human skeletal stem cells(SSCs)have been discovered in fetal and adult long bones.However,the spatiotemporal ontogeny of human embryonic SSCs during early skeletogenesis remains elusive.Here we map the transcriptional landscape of human limb buds and embryonic long bones at single-cell resolution to address this fundamental question.We found remarkable heterogeneity within human limb bud mesenchyme and epithelium,and aligned them along the proximal-distal and anterior-posterior axes using known marker genes.Osteo-chondrogenic progenitors first appeared in the core limb bud mesenchyme,which give rise to multiple populations of stem/progenitor cells in embryonic long bones undergoing endochondral ossification.Importantly,a perichondrial embryonic skeletal stem/progenitor cell(eSSPC)subset was identified,which could self-renew and generate the osteochondral lineage cells,but not adipocytes or hematopoietic stroma.eSSPCs are marked by the adhesion molecule CADM1 and highly enriched with FOXP1/2 transcriptional network.Interestingly,neural crest-derived cells with similar phenotypic markers and transcriptional networks were also found in the sagittal suture of human embryonic calvaria.Taken together,this study revealed the cellular heterogeneity and lineage hierarchy during human embryonic skeletogenesis,and identified distinct skeletal stem/progenitor cells that orchestrate endochondral and intramembranous ossification. | Jian He Jing Yan Jianfang Wang Liangyu Zhao Qian Xin Yang Zeng Yuxi Sun Han Zhang Zhijie Bai Zongcheng Li Yanli Ni Yandong Gong Yunqiao Li Han He Zhilei Bian Yu Lan Chunyu Ma Lihong Bian Heng Zhu Bing Liu Rui Yue | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,7: | 5 |
| 2 | First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. | 3 | Effect of the Oxidation Time on Properties of Ceramic Coatings Produced on Ti-6Al-4V by Micro-Arc Oxidation显示文摘Ceramic coatings were prepared on Ti-6AI-4V alloy using ac micro-arc oxidation (MAO) in silicate-hypophosphate solution. Growth regularity and formation mechanism of ceramic coatings were discussed. It was found that during the first stage the growth rate of coatings toward the external surface was larger than that toward substrate and then the coating began to grow mainly towards Ti alloy. When the total coating thickness reaches a certain value, it would no longer increase. | 5 | Nutrient retranslocation from the fine roots of Fraxinus mandshurica and Larix olgensis in northeastern China显示文摘Nutrient retranslocation in trees is important in nutrient budgets and energy flows in forest ecosystems. We investigated nutrient retranslocation in the fine roots of a Manchurian Ash(Fraxinus mandshurica) and a Larch(Larix olgensis) plantation in northeastern China. Nutrient retranslocation in the fine roots was investigated using three methods, specifically, nutrient concentration, the ratio of Ca to other elements(Ca/other elements ratio) and nutrient content. The method based on nutrient content proved most suitable when investigating nutrient retranslocation from fine roots of the two species. The nutrient-content-based method showed that there were retranslocations of N, P, K and Mg from the fine roots of Manchurian Ash, with retranslocation efficiencies of 13,25, 65, and 38 %, respectively, whereas there were no Ca retranslocations. | 9 | Strong phonon localization in PbTe with dislocations and large deviation to Matthiessen’s rule显示文摘Dislocations can greatly enhance the figure of merit of thermoelectric materials by prominently reducing thermal conductivity.However,the evolution of phonon modes with different energies when they propagate through a single dislocation is unknown.Here we perform non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulation to study phonon transport in PbTe crystal with dislocations by excluding boundary scattering and strain coupling effect.The frequency-dependent heat flux,phonon mode analysis,and frequency-dependent phonon mean free paths(MFPs)are presented.The thermal conductivity of PbTe with dislocation density on the order of 10^(15)m^(−2) is decreased by 62%.We provide solid evidence of strong localization of phonon modes in dislocation sample.Moreover,by comparing the frequency-dependent phonon MFPs between atomistic modeling and traditional theory,it is found that the conventional theories are inadequate to describe the phonon behavior throughout the full phonon spectrum,and large deviation to the well-known semi-classical Matthiessen’s rule is observed.These results provide insightful guidance for the development of PbTe based thermoelectrics and shed light on new routes for enhancing the performance of existing thermoelectrics by incorporating dislocations. | Yandong Sun Yanguang Zhou Jian Han Wei Liu Cewen Nan Yuanhua Lin Ming Hu Ben Xu | 2019 | npj Computational Materials2019,,1: | 1 |
| 10 | Analysis of elastoplasticity and rheology due to mining subsidence显示文摘At present, as the easily mining resources are being increasingly depleted, the exploitation of coal under buildings, water-bodies and railways is imminent for the sustainable production. Probability in-tegral method is a general method for mining subsidence in the coal system. Because of poor under-standing of mining subsidence for other sections, the authors suggest probability integral method for the study of coal mining under buildings, water-bodies and railways. Moreover, the calculation result of probability integral method should be corrected by numerical simulation method. Based on practical projects, the impact has been evaluated on the security of Xifeihe left embankment under coal mining. Combining with the results of probability integral method, we propose that the 600 m far from em-bankment is a good rationality. This article provides the basis for the rational exploitation of coal re-source which is a major practical problem under the premise of Water Infrastructure Security. | 12 | Addition of peroxiredoxin 6 (PRDX6) to IVF fertilization medium maintains motility and longevity of human spermatozoa显示文摘This study aims to investigate the protective effects of peroxiredoxin 6 on the total motility and progressive motility of human spermatozoa.Semen samples with normal parameters were collected from 23 males and supplemented with different concentrations of peroxiredoxin 6.All the semen samples were measured according to the WHO 5th manual,and the motile spermatozoa were extracted using IVF fertilization medium supplemented with different peroxiredoxin 6 concentrations.Total motility and progressive motility were observed at different time-points of culture at room temperature.After peroxiredoxin 6 supplementation,all groups had a significant increase in total motility and progressive motility compared to the control group.The difference in total motility and progressive motility between the 0 and 10−7 mM groups was observed at 24 and 48 h of culture at room temperature.At 24 h,the total motility increased by 30%in the control group(16.03±11.91 vs.11.51±7.84),and progressive motility increased by 21%(10.53±9.4 vs.8.31±6.04).A similar trend was observed in the 48 h group.In addition,we also found that peroxiredoxin 6 had a well protective effect on sperm kinetic parameters at 10−7 mM.The findings of this study suggest that peroxiredoxin 6 can enhance sperm total motility and progressive motility in IVF fertilization medium.Peroxiredoxin 6 may have potential benefits for sperm preparation in assisted reproductive technology. | TIECHENG SUN YANDONG ZHANG JIANHUA LI HONG YU LINGLI SONG XINPING SUN XI CHEN LI TIAN | 2021 | BIOCELL2021,45,3: | 1 |

The function nodes are the second-class security center because of the characteristics of the distributed WSNs. Secondly, It is also described that the formation of function nodes and cluster heads under the control of the former, and five kinds of keys, i.e., individual key, pairwise keys, cluster key, management key, and group key. Finally, performance analysis and experiments show that, the protocol is superior in communication and energy consumption. | 19 | Alunite spectral features and mineral chemistry of the ZijinshanDafanshan lithocap in SE China:Implications for mineral exploration显示文摘Lithocaps are composed of silicic and advanced argillic altered rocks,and represent an important target for porphyry-epithermal Cu-Au exploration.Previous studies showed that integrating alunite spectral and composition with lithocap whole-rock geochemistry can effectively aid exploration for concealed Cu-Au mineralization.The Zijinshan Cu-Au and Dafanshan alunite deposits are located in the Coastal Volcanic Belt in SE China,where alunite is an indicator of hypogene mineralization and alteration.Detailed mineralogical studies of alunite from these two deposits were performed with short-wavelength infrared spectroscopy(SWIR),whole-rock geochemistry and laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(LA-ICP-MS).For Zijinshan,wavelength variation of the SWIR alunite absorption peak at 1480 nm is proportional to the whole-rock Na/(Na+K)molar ratio of alunitebearing samples.Different percentage of alunite and mineral assemblages in the lithocap samples would both affect the wavelength of the SWIR alunite absorption peak at1480 nm.We suggest that the alunite Ba-Bi contents and the whole-rock Nb/La value(of alunite-bearing rocks)are reliable vectoring tools for detecting magmatic-hydrothermal mineralization center in the district.Comparing the alunite SWIR spectral and mineral geochemical features and whole-rock geochemistry of alunite-bearing rocks between the Zijinshan and Dafanshan deposits,Au–Ag mineralization may be concealed at depth in northwestern Dafanshan. | Yandong Sun Guiqing Xie Jing Chen | 2023 | Acta Geochimica2023,42,4: | 0 |
