1NiPS_(3)quantum sheets modified nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbon with boosted bifunctional oxygen electrocatalytic performance显示文摘Electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reactions(ORR)and oxygen evolution reactions(OER)are highly crucial and challenging toward the energy storage and conversion technologies such as fuel cells,metal-air batteries and water electrolysis.To replace noble-metal based catalysts and boost catalytic performance of carbon-based materials,we initially develop the nickel,phospho rus,sulfur and nitrogen co-modified mesoporous carbon(NiPS_(3)@NMC)as a bifunctional oxygen electrocatalyst.The perfo rmance for ORR(half-wave potential at 0.90 V)and OER(10 mA cm^(-2)at 1.48 V)surpasses those of Pt/C coupled with IrO_(2)catalysts and most of the non-precious metal based bifunctional electrocatalysts reported in related literature.Moreover,the electrochemical durability is also confirmed by accelerated durability tests(ADTs)and long-term chronoamperometry(CA)tests.We demonstrated that the interfacial effect between NiPS_(3)quantum sheets(QS s)and NMC substrates by thermal activation contributed to the enhanced oxygen electrode bifunctionality with more active sites,due to the electrons-donating from nickel,phosphorus and sulfur elements and relatively enriched pyridinic type N.Such excellent overall performance highlights the potential application of NiPS3 QSs and NMC composites as the materials on energy conversion and storage.Kai Huang Yuyang Xu Yanpeng Song Ruyue Wanga Hehe Wei Yuanzheng Long Ming Lei Haolin Tang Jiangang Guo Hui Wu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,6:7
2Optimal reactive power dispatch with wind power integrated using group search optimizer with intraspecific competition and le´vy walk显示文摘This paper presents the mean–variance(MV)model to solve power system reactive power dispatch problems with wind power integrated.The MV model considers the profit and risk simultaneously under the uncertain wind power(speed)environment.To describe this uncertain environment,the Latin hypercube sampling with Cholesky decomposition simulation method is used to sample uncertain wind speeds.An improved optimization algorithm,group search optimizer with intraspecific competition and le´vy walk,is then used to optimize the MV model by introducing the risk tolerance parameter.The simulation is conducted based on the IEEE 30-bus power system,and the results demonstrate the effectiveness and validity of the proposed model and the optimization algorithm.Yuanzheng LI Mengshi LI Qinghua WU 2014Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2014,2,4:6
3Large-scale blow spinning of heat-resistant nanofibrous air filters显示文摘Particulate matter(PM)pollution has become a serious problem worldwide and various kinds of nanofibrous filters aiming to solve the problem have been developed.It is urgent to remove PM from high-temperature pollution sources,such as industrial emissions,coal furnaces,and automobile exhaust gases.However,filtration at pollution sources remains challenging because most existing air filters are not resistant to high temperature.Herein,heat-resistant polyimide(PI)nanofibrous air filters are fabricated via a simple and scalable solution blow-spinning method.These air filters show excellent thermal stability at high temperature up to 420℃.They exhibit a filtration efficiency as high as 99.73%at ambient temperature and over 97%at 300℃.In addition,a field test shows that the filters remove>97%of PM from the car exhaust fumes.Hence,the blow-spun PI nanofibrous membranes combined with the facile preparation strategy have great potential in high temperature air filtration fields and other similar applications such as water purification and protein separation.Ziwei Li Jianan Song Yuanzheng Long Chao Jia Zhenglian Liu Lei Li Cheng Yang Junchen Liu Sen Lin Haiyang Wang Yibo Liu Minghao Fang Hui Wu 2020Nano Research2020,13,3:6
4Expression and self-assembly of Heterocapsa circularisquama RNA virus-like particles synthesized in Pichia pastoris显示文摘Heterocapsa circularisquama RNA virus(HcRNAV) is the first single-stranded RNA virus to be characterized that infects dinoflagellates.The ability of HcRNAV coat protein(HcRNAV CP) to self-assemble into virus-like particles(VLPs) in vitro suggested that heterologous expression was possible,and that the VLPs might be ideal nanocontainers for the targeted delivery of genes and chemicals.In this paper,we report the expression of a codon-optimized HcRNAV 109 CP gene in Pichia pastoris and the production of self-assembled HcRNAV VLPs using large-scale fermentation.The HcRNAV 109 CP gene was synthesized according to the codon preference of P.pastoris and cloned into a pPICZA vector.The recombinant plasmid pPICZA-CPsyns was transformed into P.pastoris by electroporation.The resulting yeast colonies were screened by PCR and analyzed for protein expression by SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.After large-scale fermentation,the yield of HcRNAV CPsyns reached approximately 2.5 g L 1 within 4 d.The HcRNAV VLPs were purified using PEG precipitation followed by cesium chloride density gradient ultracentrifugation,and were subsequently analyzed using UV spectrophotometry and transmission electron microscopy.Fluorescence dye-labeled myoglobin was loaded into the cages of the HcRNAV VLPs and the encapsulation was confirmed by fluorescence spectroscopy.The results point to the possible utilization in pharmacology or nanotechnology of HcRNAV VLPs produced by P.pastoris fermentation.WU YuanZheng KIM Wonduck KIM Si-Wou EOM Chi-Yong YANG HeTong SHIN Hyun-Jae 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,25:2

6Facile synthesis of two-dimensional MoS_(2)/WS_(2) lateral heterostructures with controllable core/shell size ratio by a one-step chemical vapor deposition method显示文摘Heterostructures based on two-dimensional(2D) transition-metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs) possess unique electronic and optical properties, which open up unprecedented opportunities in nanoscale optoelectronic devices. Synthesizing high-quality 2D TMDC heterostructures with different core/shell size ratios is of great significance for practical applications. Here, we report a simple one-step chemical vapor deposition(CVD) method for fabricating MoS2/WS2 lateral heterostructures with controllable core/shell size ratio. An ultrathin MoO3/WO3 film prepared by thermal evaporation was used as the precursor, and a step-like heating process was adopted to separately grow MoS2 and WS2 monolayers by taking advantage of the different melting points of MoO3 and WO3 sources. High-quality MoS2/WS2 lateral heterostructures with sharp interfaces were fabricated by optimizing the key growth parameters. Furthermore, the core/shell size ratio of heterostructures could be easily controlled by changing the thickness ratio of MoO3/WO3 film, and an approximately linear dependence between them is revealed. Compared with MoS2 or WS2 monolayers, the MoS2/WS2 heterostructure exhibited a shortened exciton lifetime owing to the type-Ⅱ energy band alignment, which is conducive to the application of high-performance devices. 10Economic Dispatch with High Penetration of Wind Power Using Extreme Learning Machine Assisted Group Search Optimizer with Multiple Producers Considering Upside Potential and Downside Risk显示文摘The power system with high penetration of wind power is gradually formed,and it would be difficult to determine the optimal economic dispatch(ED)solution in such an environment with significant uncertainties.This paper proposes a multi-objective ED(MuOED)model,in which the expected generation cost(EGC),upside potential(USP),and downside risk(DSR)are simultaneously considered.The heterogeneous indices of upside potential and downside risk mean the potential economic gains and losses brought by high penetration of wind power,respectively.Then,the MuOED model is formulated as a tri-objective optimization problem,which is related to uncertain multi-criteria decision-making against uncertainties.Afterwards,the tri-objective optimization problem is solved by an extreme learning machine(ELM)assisted group search optimizer with multiple producers(GSOMP).Pareto solutions are obtained to reflect the trade-off among the expected generation cost,the upside potential,and the downside risk.And a fuzzy decision-making method is used to choose the final ED solution.Case studies based on the Midwestern US power system verify the effectiveness of the proposed MuOED model and the developed optimization algorithm.Yuanzheng Li Jingjing Huang Yun Liu Zhixian Ni Yu Shen Wei Hu Lei Wu 2022Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2022,10,6:0
11Nucleation growth quenching for superior cluster catalysts显示文摘Cluster catalysts are rapidly growing into an important sub-field in heterogeneous catalysis,owing to their distinct geometric structure,neighboring metal sites,and unique electronic structure.Although the thermodynamics and kinetics of the formation of nanoparticles have been largely investigated,the precise synthesis of clusters in wet chemical methods still faces great challenges.In the study,a quenching strategy of asymmetric temperature in solution for the rapid generation of vacancy-defect rich clusters is reported.The quenching process can be used to synthesize multitudinous metal compound clusters,including metal oxides,fluorides,oxygen-sulfur compounds,and tungstate.For oxygen evolution reaction(OER),IrO_(2)clusters with abundant oxygen vacancies were obtained and uniformly dispersed in the solution.Compared to commercial IrO_(2),the prepared IrO_(2)cluster can be directly loaded on carbon paper and used as binder-free electrodes,which exhibit higher OER activity and long-term operational stability in alkaline electrolytes.The quenching strategy provides a simple and efficient method for the synthesis of clusters,which has tremendous potential for industrial-scale preparation and application,especially can be further applied to flow electrochemical generators.Ruyue Wang Feng Cheng Yonggang Wang Dongyu Fan Bohan Deng Yuanzheng Long Haolin Tang Kai Huang Zhaowei Qu Ming Lei Binghui Ge Hui Wu 2022Nano Research2022,15,9:0
12Bioactive gelatin cryogels with BMP-2 biomimetic peptide and VEGF:A potential scaffold for synergistically induced osteogenesis显示文摘A poor biocompatibility and bioactivity of invasive materials remains major problems for biomaterialbased therapy. In this study, we introduced gelatin scaffolds carrying both bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2) biomimetic peptide and vascular endothelial growth factor-165(VEGF) that achieved controlled release, cell attachment, proliferation and differentiation. To promote osteogenesis with VEGF, we designed the BMP-2 biomimetic peptide that comprised BMP-2 core sequence oligopeptide(SSVPT), phosphoserine, and synthetic cell adhesion factor(RGDS). In vitro cell experiments, the scaffold was conducive to the adhesion and proliferation of rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(r BMSCs). The micro-CT3 D reconstruction of the rat cranial bone defect model showed that bone regeneration patterns occurred from one side edge towards the center area implanted with the prepared cryogel, and tissue section staining analysis demonstrated that the scaffold with double-growth factor can synergistically accelerate bone regeneration. 13Differentiated effects of morphological and functional polycentricurban spatial structure on carbon emissions in China: an empiricalanalysis from remotely sensed nighttime light approach显示文摘Understanding the relationship between urban development and environmental sustainability to achieve‘double carbon’goals in China can be strengthened by evaluating the environmental effect of urban spatial structure(US).However,there have been few studies that consider the differentiated effects of polycentric US(PUS)on carbon emissions from both functional and morphological perspectives simultaneously.Thus,taking China’s 31 provinces as experimental subjects,our study developed a novel framework with remotely sensed nighttime light(NTL)data to quantify morphological PUS(MPUS)and functional PUS(FPUS)from 2000 to 2019.Then,from these two dimensions,differentiated effects of PUS on carbon emissions were further examined.Results indicated that NTL data presented high potential in quantifying MPUS and FPUS.The effect of FPUS on carbon emission-cutting outperformed that of MPUS.In addition,the spillover effect effectively enhanced the decreasing effect of the FPUS on carbon emissions.Our empiricalfindings can provide guidance for the government in developing strategies for reducing carbon emissions and optimizing USs.Yizhen Wu Kaifang Shi Yuanzheng Cui Shirao Liu Lili Liu 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:0

15Improving cancer immunotherapy via co-delivering checkpoint blockade and thrombospondin-1 downregulator显示文摘The use of checkpoint-blockade antibodies is still restricted in several malignancies due to the modest efficacy,despite considerable success in anti-tumor immunotherapy.The poor response of cancer cells to immune destruction is an essential contributor to the failure of checkpoint therapy.We hypothesized that combining checkpoint therapy with natural-product chemosensitizer could enhance immune response.Herein,a targeted diterpenoid derivative was integrated with the checkpoint blockade(anti-CTLA-4)to improve immunotherapy using thermo sensitive liposomes as carriers.In vivo,the liposomes enabled the co-delivery of the two drug payloads into the tumor.Consequently,the regulatory T cell proliferation was restrained,the cytotoxic T cell infiltration was enhanced,and the profound immunotherapeutic effect was achieved.In addition,the immunotherapeutic effect of another clinically used checkpoint antibody,anti-PD-1,also benefited from the diterpenoid derivative.Of note,our mechanism study revealed that the targeted diterpenoid derivative increased the sensitivity of cancer cells to immune attack via THBS1 downregulation and the resultant destruction of THBS1-CD47 interaction.Collectively,co-delivering THBS1 inhibitor and checkpoint blockade is promising to boost cancer immunotherapy.We first time discovered that THBS1 suppression could strengthen checkpoint therapy.Qingqing Xiao Xiaotong Li Chang Liu Yuxin Jiang Yonglong He Wanting Zhang Helena SAzevedo Wei Wu Yuanzheng Xia Wei He 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,8:0
