Geochemical characteristics and diagenetic systems of dolomite reservoirs of the Changxing Formation in the eastern Sichuan Basin, China显示文摘In order to discuss the relationship between dolomite reservoirs and diagenetic systems of the Changxing Formation, we studied carbon, oxygen and strontium stable isotopes, iron, manganese and strontium trace elements and the Mg/Ca (mol%) ratio, dolomite order degree, and determined that burial dolomitization is the key to controlling the distribution of high quality dolomite reservoir in the Changxing Formation in the eastern Sichuan Basin. The dolomite of the Changxing Formation is divided into four diagenetic systems: (1) penecontemporaneous stage syngenetic brine diagenetic system, (2) early diagenetic stage strata seal brine diagenetic system, (3) middle-late diagenetic stage mixed hot brine diagenetic system and (4) tectonic uplift stage mixed hydrothermal fluid diagenetic system. New understanding of the controlling factors and distribution of dolomite reservoir development is discussed. Reef shoal facies belts controlled regional reservoir distribution and the scale of development. Burial dolomitization of a strata seal brine diagenetic system is the foundation of reservoir development, mainly developing pore reservoir. Burial dolomitization of mixed hot brine diagenetic system expanded the reservoir distribution and improved the reservoir quality, mainly developing pore-vug reservoir. Fracturing and dissolution of a mixed hydrothermal fluid diagenetic system is the key to improving the reservoir quality, mainly developing pore-vug-crack complex reservoirs. | Zhang Bing Zheng Rongcai Wang Xuben Zheng Chao Wen Huaguo Luo Yuan Chi Yuelong | 2012 | Petroleum Science2012,9,2: | 9
Crust and Upper Mantle Electrical Resistivity Structure in the Panxi Region of the Eastern Tibetan Plateau and Its Significance显示文摘The Panxi region is located in the frontal zone of positive squeezing subduction and side squeezing shearing between the Indian plate and the Eurasian plate. The long-period magnetotelluric(LMT) and broadband magnetotelluric(MT) techniques are both used to study the deep electrical conductivity structure in this region; magnetic and gravity surveys are also performed along the profile. According to the 2-D resistivity model along the Yanyuan-Yongshan profile,a highconductivity layer(HCL) exists widely in the crust, and a high-resistivity block(HRB) exists widely in the upper mantle in general,as seen by the fact that a large HCL exists from the western Jinpingshan tectonic zone to the eastern Mabian tectonic zone in the crust, while the HRB found in the Panxi tectonic zone is of abnormally high resistivity in that background compared to both sides of Panxi tectonic zone. In addition, the gravity and magnetic field anomalies are of high value. Combined with geological data, the results indicate that there probably exists basic or ultrabasic rock with a large thickness in the lithosphere in the Panxi axial region, which indicates that fracture activity once occurred in the lithosphere. As a result,we can infer that the high-resistivity zone in the Panxi lithosphere is the eruption channel for Permian Emeishan basalt and the accumulation channel for basic and ultrabasic rock. The seismic sources along the profile are counted according to seismic record data. The results indicate that the most violent earthquake sources are located at the binding site of the HRB and the HCL,where the tectonic activity zone is generally acknowledged to be; however, the earthquakes occurring in the HCL are not so violent, which reflects the fact that the HCL is a plastic layer, and the fracture threshold of a plastic layer is low generally, making high stress difficult to accumulate but easy to release in the layer. As a result,a higher number of smaller earthquakes occurred in the HCL at Daliangshan tectonic zone, and violent earthquakes occurred at the binding site of high- and low-resistivity blocks at the Panxi tectonic zone. | ZHANG Gang WANG Xuben FANG Hui GUO Ziming ZHANG Zhaobin LUO Wei CAI Xuelin LI Jun LI Zhong WU Xing | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,2: | 9
The Deep Geophysical Structure of the Middle Section of the Longmen Mountains Tectonic Belt and its Relation to the Wenchuan Earthquake显示文摘Investigation of the deep geophysical structure of the Longmen Mountains tectonic belt and its relation to the Wenchuan Earthquake is important for the study of earthquakes. By using magnetotelluric sounding profiles of the Luqu–Zhongjiang and Anxian–Suining; seismic sounding profiles of the Sichuan Maowen–Chongqing Gongtan, the Qinghai Huashi Gorge–Sichuan Jianyang, and the Batang–Zizhong; and magnetogravimetric data of the Longmen Mountains region, the deep geophysical structure of the Songpan–Ganzi block, the western Sichuan foreland basin, and the Longmen Mountains tectonic belt and their relation was discussed. The eastward extrusion of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau thrusts the Songpan–Ganzi block upon the Yangtze block, which obstructs the eastward movement of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau. The Maoxian–Wenchuan, Beichuan–Yingxiu, and Anxian–Guanxian faults of the Longmen Mountains fault belt dip to northwest with different dip angles and gradually converge in the deeper parts. Geophysical structure suggests that an intracrustal low-velocity, low-resistivity, and high-conductivity layer is common between the middle and upper crust west of the Longmen Mountains tectonic belt but not in the upper Yangtze block. The Sichuan Basin has a thick low-resistance sedimentary layer on a stable high-resistance basement; moreover, there are secondary paleohighs and depression structures at the lower part of the western Sichuan foreland basin with characteristic of high magnetic anomalies, whereas the Songpan–Ganzi block has a high resisitivity cover of upper crust and continues to a low-resistance layer. Considering the Longmen Mountains tectonic belt as the boundary, there are Bouguer gravity anomalies of 'one belt between two zones.' Thus, we infer that there is a corresponding relation between the inferred crystalline basement of the Songpan block and the underlying basin basement of the Longmen Mountains fault belt. Furthermore, there may be an extensive ancient Yangtze block, which is west of the Ruoergai block. In addition, the crust–mantle ductile shear zone under the Longmen Mountains tectonic belt is the main fault, whereas the Beichuan–Yingxiu and Anxian–Guanxian faults at the surface are earthquake faults. The Wenchuan Ms 8.0 earthquake might be attributed to the collision of the Yangtze block and the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau. The eastward obduction of the eastern edge of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau and eastward subduction of its deeper part under the influence of the collision of the Indian, Pacific, and Philippine Plates with the Eurasia Plate might have caused the Longmen Mountains tectonic belt to cut the Moho and extend to the middle and upper crust; thus, creating high stress concentration and rapid energy release zone. | YU Nian WANG Xuben HU Xiangyun CAI Xuelin KAN Aike ZHAO Ning | 2014 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,2: | 4
Salt-Gathering and Potassium Formation of Potassium-Rich Brine during the Triassic in the Sichuan Basin, China显示文摘Potassium-rich brine in the Sichuan Basin has been much studied in recent years, but few studies have focused on the distribution and migration of salt basin and the differences of potassium formation mechanisms. This work examined the salt-gathering and potassium formation of potassiumrich brine during the Triassic in the Sichuan Basin using lithofacies palaeogeographic depiction and geochemical analyses.(1) The favorable sedimentary facies controlling the formation of potassium-rich brine during the Triassic in the Sichuan Basin are evaporation platform and restricted platform, whereas the salt basin is one of the main factors controlling the poly-salt center.(2) The distribution and migration of this salt basin were affected by certain factors. The salt basin of the Jialingjiang Formation was mainly distributed in the east and central Sichuan Basin, whereas that of the Leikoupo Formation was mainly distributed in the central and west Sichuan Basin. The sedimentary centers have gradually moved westward and become smaller.(3) Three main formation mechanisms were identified for the potassium-rich brine during the Triassic in the Sichuan Basin, i.e., evaporation and concentration of seawater, surface fresh water leaching, and deep water-rock reaction. Fresh water leaching was characterized by low anomaly δ18 O and δ13 C values. Water-rock reaction was mainly related to temperature, and high temperature environment(caused by burial depth, overthrust and deep hydrothermal fluids) was beneficial to water-rock reaction. The characteristics of water-rock reaction do not correspond to the increase ratio of K·103/Cl and Br·103/Cl in brine, and the Rb+ content of the brine was high.(4) The formation mechanisms of potassium-rich brine differed between different areas of the Sichuan Basin. In east Sichuan, the evaporation and concentration of seawater, together with meteoric fresh water leaching, was the main formation factor, whereas the evaporation and concentration of seawater and water–rock reaction predominated in west Sichuan. This study of the sedimentary environment and formation mechanisms is of significance to the exploration and exploitation of potassium-rich brine in the Sichuan Basin. | ZHANG Bing YANG Kai WANG Xuben XU Zhengqi YANG Hongyu ZHANG Saimin CHEN Jinchao ZHANG Mingming LIU Wei | 2018 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2018,92,6: | 4
The mechanism of deep material transport and seismogenic environment of the Xiaojiang fault system revealed by 3-D magnetotelluric study显示文摘The Xiaojiang fault system(XJFS), located to the southeast of the Tibetan Plateau, has a complicated tectonic history and is an ideal location to study the Tibetan Plateau in terms of its deep material transport mechanism and the effects of past tectonic events. In this study, broadband and long-period magnetotelluric data were collected above this fault system and inverted to build a 3-D resistivity model of the lithosphere. As shown in the model, at upper-middle crustal depths, three high-resistivity anomalies separate the strike-slip faults located in the study area, which may be the remnants of the Emeishan large igneous province that was destroyed and modified by Cenozoic crustal activity. The lower crust is characterized by significant lowresistivity anomalies that extend downward to the upper mantle. The low-resistivity anomalies in the upper crust may be caused by brines or/and conductive minerals(e.g., graphite and sulfides), and the possible reason for the low-resistivity anomalies that were imaged in the lower crust and upper mantle may be the presence of hydrogen in nominally anhydrous minerals and partial melts. According to the seismic activity distribution and resistivity structure, we propose dividing the seismic activity of the study area into three categories: tectonic earthquakes, earthquakes with no active faults on the surface, and other scattered earthquakes with no general features. Seismic activities are controlled by tectonic activities, fluid transportation, and the adjustment of the Earth's stress field. It is believed that there is a mutually reinforcing relationship between seismic activity and deep fluids. Fluids could lower the frictional force in faults, promote movement, and thus induce earthquakes;on the other hand, seismic activities and the long-term strike-slip movements of faults could generate heat and increase the connectivity of fluids, which decreases the strength of the crust and facilitates the flow of fluids. Based on the resistivity model, it is demonstrated that the present tectonic activity in the XJFS is complicated and characterized by rigid block extrusion along strike-slip faults in the upper crust, ductile deformation with channel flow in the lower crust, and the upwelling of mantle materials. In combination with previous studies, our results indicate that the weak crustal materials from the Tibetan Plateau are blocked by(1) the lithosphere modified by the Emeishan plume and(2) the South China block when flowing through the Sichuan-Yunnan block. Therefore, these weak materials turn to the southwest direction along the XJFS, then pass through the Red River fault and enter the Indochina block. | Nian YU Xuben WANG Dewei LI Xin LI Enci WANG Wenxin KONG Tianyang LI | 2022 | Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,6: | 1
Targeting histone deacetylases for cancer therapy: Trends and challenges显示文摘Dysregulation of histone deacetylases(HDACs) is closely related to tumor development and progression. As promising anticancer targets, HDACs have gained a great deal of research interests and two decades of effort has led to the approval of five HDAC inhibitors(HDACis). However, currently traditional HDACis, although effective in approved indications, exhibit severe off-target toxicities and low sensitivities against solid tumors, which have urged the development of next-generation of HDACi. This review investigates the biological functions of HDACs, the roles of HDACs in oncogenesis, the structural features of different HDAC isoforms, isoform-selective inhibitors, combination therapies, multitarget agents and HDAC PROTACs. We hope these data could inspire readers with new ideas to develop novel HDACi with good isoform selectivity, efficient anticancer effect, attenuated adverse effect and reduced drug resistance. | Tao Liang Fengli Wang Reham M.Elhassan Yongmei Cheng Xiaolei Tang Wengang Chen Hao Fang Xuben Hou | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,6: | 1

Relationship Between Electrical Properties and Sedimentary Environment of the Longmaxi Formation Shale,Southern Sichuan显示文摘The Lower Silurian Longmaxi Formation in the south of Sichuan is a key player in the exploration and development of shale gas in China.Due to a highly complex topographic area, electromagnetic methods(EM)become important exploration means in this area. Many studies have been conducted on the shale mineral composition and electrical properties of shale, however, the correlation between sedimentary environments and the electrical properties of shale remain poorly understood. The electrical properties and sedimentary environment of the organic-rich shale of the Longmaxi Formation have been studied by means of X-ray diffraction, organic geochemistry, scanning electron microscopy and complex resistivity measurements. The discovered high quartz content of the Longmaxi Formation shale results in low resistivity.Deep-water shelf biogenic quartz contributes lower resistivity more than that of shallow-water terrigenous quartz. The deep-water anoxic and organic sedimentary environment led to major enrichment of pyrite, leading to a high polarization effect in shale. We present the correlation between the lithofacies types and electrical properties of Longmaxi Formation. The mixed siliceous shale lithofacies is the most favorable among the three lithofacies, which is characterized by high total organic carbon(TOC)content, high brittleness mineral content, high polarization and low resistivity('three high and one low').This feature is an effective identification of shale gas reservoirs by electromagnetic prospecting. Our study can provide constraints on electrical parameters of rocks for electromagnetic'sweet spot'exploration of shale gas,and so this has important geological significance to shale gas exploration and development. | YANG Kai ZHANG Bing WANG Xuben HE Lanfang YANG Hongyu WANG Pengwan TANG Jialin DENG Jixin ZHANG Cong | 2020 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,5: | 0

Steep subduction of the Indian continental mantle lithosphere beneath the eastern Himalaya revealed by gravity anomalies显示文摘The geometry and deformation of the Indian continental mantle lithosphere(ICML)beneath the India-Eurasia collision zone are critical to understanding the accommodation of continent-continent convergence. In this paper, the distribution of residual gravity anomalies in the upper mantle of southern Tibet is estimated using the gravity data and seismic velocity models, and the heterogeneous density distribution of the upper-mantle is then recovered through three-dimensional gravity inversion. The results reveal a low-density anomaly(~300 km W-E and~100 km N-S)in the upper mantle under the eastern Himalaya, while there is no obvious density anomaly under the western Himalaya. The western boundary of the low-density anomaly coincides with the Yadong-Gulu Rift(YGR)on the surface(89°–90°E),and its southern boundary is located at~28°N,approximately 130 km southward from the Indus-Yarlung suture, probably representing the mantle suture at depth. This observation indicates that,in contrast to the western ICML which is probably underthrusting at a shallow angle, the eastern ICML be likely subducting steeply, accompanying asthenosphere upwelling.Such a laterally varying geometry suggests that a major tearing of the ICML may have taken place from the intersection of the mantle suture and the YGR in the upper mantle. The tearing and the steep subduction of the ICML might be associated with the magmatic and mineralization events in the eastern Himalaya-Gangdese and the formation of the YGR. | Shengxian LIANG Xuben WANG Zhengwei XU Yanpei DAI Yonghua WANG Jing GUO Yanjie JIAO Fu LI | 2023 | Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,9: | 0
