1Flexible artificial synapse based on single-crystalline BiFeO_(3) thin film显示文摘Realization of functional flexible artificial synapse is a significant step toward neuromorphic computing.Herein,a flexible artificial synapse based on ferroelectric tunnel junctions(FTJs)is demonstrated,using BiFeO_(3)(BFO)thin film as the functional layer.The inorganic single crystalline FTJs grown on rigid perovskite substrates at high temperatures are integrated with the flexible plastic substrates,by using the water-soluble Sr_(3)Al_(2)O_(6)(SAO)as the sacrificial layer and the following transfer.The transferred freestanding BFO thin film exhibits excellent ferroelectric properties.Moreover,the memristive properties and the brain-like synaptic learning performance of the flexible FTJs are investigated.The results show that multilevel resistance states were maintained well of the flexible artificial synapse,together with their stable synaptic learning properties.Our work indicates the promising opportunity of ferroelectric thin film based flexible synapse used in the future neuromorphic computing system.Zhen Zhao Amr Abdelsamie Rui Guo Shu Shi Jianhui Zhao Weinan Lin Kaixuan Sun Jingjuan Wang Junling Wang Xiaobing Yan Jingsheng Chen 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:2
2Tanshinone IIa antagonizes spinal ischemia/reperfusion injury by interfering with upstream glutamic acid factors显示文摘Based on the hypothesis that upstream factor inhibition results in better treatment effects than downstream factor inhibition, the present study interfered with glutamic acid (Glu)-released upstream factors, such as Glu transporter function and Na+-K+-adenosine triphosphatases (ATPase) activity relativly. Rats with spinal cord ischemia/reperfusion injury received intraperitoneal injections of tanshinone IIa and Glu uptake and Na+-K+-ATPase activity were increased. 6A novel inflatable rings supported design and buoyancy-weight balance deformation analysis of stratosphere airships显示文摘Owing to the unique advantages in flight altitude,dwelling time and wide coverage area,stratospheric airships provide permanent monitoring and surveillance for both civil and military applications.Here we propose a semi-rigid stratosphere airship design with circumferential high-pressure inflatable rings and a longitudinal carbon fiber skeleton supported inside.We perform numerical simulations to analyze the deformation characteristics during the whole ascending and descending process.An equivalent internal gradient pressure model of helium is established based on the capsule shape and buoyancy-weight equilibrium conditions.The implicit dynamic method is used to deal with the large deformation of the airship capsule under a low negative pressure condition.Deformation and load-bearing performance of the airship capsule,inflatable ring,skeleton,and suspension line are obtained under different working conditions.The results show that the airship,supported with the inflatable rings and the suspension lines,effectively maintains the shape and ensures the stiffness during the ascending,dwelling,and descending stages,especially suffering from negative pressure.Weinan GAO Ji ZHANG Teng MA Guochang LIN Yuanpeng LIU Changguo WANG Huifeng TAN 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,1:1
7Host defense peptide-mimicking peptide polymer-based antibacterial hydrogel enables efficient healing of MRSA-infected wounds显示文摘Wound infections are a compelling health issue caused by the invasion and proliferation of pathogens in wound sites.Antibioticloaded hydrogels are widely used to achieve anti-infectious wound healing.However,due to the quick emergence of drugresistant bacteria,such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA),wound infection has been a formidable challenge to human health.To address MRSA-infected wounds,an antibacterial peptide polymer-loaded hyaluronic acid(HA)hydrogel(Gel-HA@P)is prepared.The peptide polymer is designed to mimic host defense peptides as the antibiotic alternative showing potent antibacterial activity,low susceptibility to drug resistance and good stability against proteolysis.HA is biocompatible and biodegradable hydrogel substrate as a primary constituent of the extracellular matrix and suitable for cell migration and wound healing.Gel-HA@P shows potent activity against MRSA in vitro and in vivo,low toxicity during the treatment and promotes the wound healing in vivo.This design has proven to be an effective and antibiotic-free strategy to enable the healing of MRSA-infected wounds.Zhongqian Qiao Wenjing Zhang Yueming Wu Weinan Jiang Ning Shao Jiayang Xie Guixue Xia Qimeng Chen Zhefeng Liu Jingcheng Zou Jiawei Gu Shifang Luan Haodong Lin Runhui Liu 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,6:1

9Host-Defense-Peptide-Mimickingβ-Peptide Polymer Acting as a Dual-Modal Antibacterial Agent by Interfering Quorum Sensing and Killing Individual Bacteria Simultaneously显示文摘Host defense peptides(HDPs)are one of the potentially promising agents for infection diseases due to their broad spectrum and low resistance rate,but their clinical applications are limited by proteolytic instability,high-cost,and complicated synthesis process.Here,we report a host-defense-peptidemimickingβ-peptide polymer that resists proteolysis to have enhanced the activity under physiological conditions,excellent antimicrobial efficiency even at high density of bacteria,and low cost for preparation.Theβ-peptide polymer demonstrated quorum sensing(QS)interference and bactericidal effect against both bacterial communities and individual bacterium to simultaneously block bacterial communication and disrupt bacterial membranes.The hierarchical QS network was suppressed,and main QS signaling systems showed considerably down-regulated gene expression,resulting in excellent biofilm eradication and virulence reduction effects.The dual-modal antibacterial ability possessed excellent therapeutic effects in Pseudomonas aeruginosa pneumonia,which could inhibit biofilm formation and exhibit better antibacterial and anti-inflammatory efficiency than clinically used antibiotics,levofloxacin.Furthermore,theβ-peptide polymer also showed excellent therapeutic effect Escherichia coli pyogenic liver abscess.Together,we believed that theβ-peptide polymer had a feasible clinical potential to treat bacterial infection diseases.Wanlin Li Ximian Xiao Yuchen Qi Xiuhui Lin Huiqun Hu Minqi Shi Min Zhou Weinan Jiang Longqiang Liu Kang Chen Kai Wang Runhui Liu Min Zhou 2023Research2023,,4:0
