| 4 | Characteristics of Settings and Etiologic Agents of Foodborne Disease Outbreaks—China,2020显示文摘Introduction:Foodborne diseases are a growing public health problem and have caused a large burden of disease in China.This study analyzed epidemiological characteristics of foodborne diseases in China in 2020 to provide a scientific basis for prevention and control measures.Methods:Data were collected from 30 of 31 provincial-level administrative divisions(PLADs)in the mainland of China,excluding Xizang(Tibet)Autonomous Region,via the National Foodborne Disease Outbreaks Surveillance System・The number and proportion of outbreaks,illnesses,hospitalizations,deaths by setting,pathogen-food category pairs and etiology were calculated.Results:In 2020,7,073 foodborne disease outbreaks were reported,resulting in 37,454 illnesses and 143 deaths.Among the identified pathogens,microbial pathogens were the most common confirmed etiology,accounting for 41.7%of illnesses.Poisonous mushrooms caused the largest proportion of outbreaks(58.0%)and deaths(57.6%).For venues where foodborne disease outbreaks occur,household had the highest number of outbreaks(4,140)and deaths(128),and catering service locations caused the largest proportion of illnesses(59.9%).Outbreaks occurring between June and September accounted for 62.8%of total outbreaks.Conclusions:Foodborne disease outbreaks mainly occurred in households・Microbial pathogens remained the top cause of outbreak-associated illnesses.Poisonous mushrooms were ranked the top cause of deaths in private homes in China.The supervision and management of food safety and health education should be strengthened to reduce the burden of foodborne diseases・Publicity should be increased to reduce the incidence of mushroom poisonings in families,and supervision and management of food should be strengthened to reduce microbial contamination. | Hongqiu Li Weiwei Li Yue Dai Yuyan Jiang Junhua Liang Santao Wang Maoqiang Zhuang Zheng Huang Lizi Xu Bo Xue Jikai Liu Haihong Han Sara M.Pires Ping Fu Yunchang Guo | 2021 | China CDC weekly2021,3,42: | 14 |

| 13 | Mesoporous silica stabilized MOF nanoreactor for highly selective semi-hydrogenation of phenylacetylene via synergistic effect of Pd and Ru single site显示文摘Selective semi-hydrogenation of phenylacetylene to styrene is a crucial step in the polystyrene industry.Although Pd-based catalysts are widely used in this reaction due to their excellent hydrogenation activity,the selectivity for styrene remains a great challenge.Herein,we designed a mesoporous silica stabilized Pd-Ru@ZIF-8(MS Pd-Ru@ZIF-8)nanoreactor with novel Pd and Ru single site synergistic catalytical system for semi-hydrogenation of phenylacetylene.The nanoreactor exhibited a superior performance,achieving 98%conversion of phenylacetylene and 96%selectivity to styrene.Turnover frequency(TOF)of nanoreactor was up to as high as 2,188 h^(−1),which was 25 times and 5 times more than the single metal species catalysts,mesoporous silica stabilized Pd@ZIF-8 nanoreactor(MS Pd@ZIF-8),and mesoporous silica stabilized Ru@ZIF-8 nanoreactor(MS Ru@ZIF-8).This catalytic activity was attributed to the synergistic effect of Pd and Ru single site anchored strongly into the framework of ZIF-8,which reduced the desorption energy of styrene and increased the hydrogenation energy barrier of styrene.Importantly,since the ordered mesoporous silica was introduced into the nanoreactor shell to stabilize ZIF-8,MS Pd-Ru@ZIF-8 showed excellent reusability and stability.After the five cycles,the catalytical activity and selectivity still remained.This work provides insights for a synergistic catalytic system based on single-site active sites for selective hydrogenation reactions. | Zhenxing Li Mingliang Hu Jiahao Liu Weiwei Wang Yanjie Li Wenbin Fan Yixuan Gong Jiasai Yao Ping Wang Miao He Yongle Li | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,3: | 2 |

| 16 | Functional identification of gene cluster for the aniline metabolic pathway mediated by transposable element显示文摘A convenient and widely applicable method has been developed to clone aniline metabolic gene cluster in this study. Three positive recombinant plasmids pDA1, pDB2 and pDB11 were cloned from genomic library of aniline degradation strain AD9. The result of aniline dioxygenase (AD) activity and catechol 2,3-oxygenase (C23O) activity assay showed that pDA1 and pDB11 contain aniline dioxy-genase genes and catechol 2,3-dioxygenase genes, respectively. The sequence analysis of the total 24.7-kb region revealed that this region contains 25 ORFs, of which 17 genes involve metabolism of aniline. In the gene cluster, the first five genes (tadQTA1A2B) and the subsequent gene (tadR1) were pre-dicted to encode a multi-component aniline dioxygenase and a LysR-type regulator, respectively, while the others (tadD1C1D2C2EFGIJKL) were expected to encode meta- cleavage pathway enzymes for catechol degradation. | 20 | Poly(ADP-ribose) polymerases regulate cell division and development in Arabidopsis roots显示文摘Root organogenesis involves cell division,differentiation and expansion. The molecular mechanisms regulating root development are not fully understood.In this study, we identified poly(adenosine diphosphate(ADP)-ribose) polymerases(PARPs) as new players in root development. PARP catalyzes poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation of proteins by repeatedly adding ADP-ribose units onto proteins using nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADt)as the donor. We found that inhibition of PARP activities by3-aminobenzomide(3-AB) increased the growth rates of both primary and lateral roots, leading to a more developed root system. The double mutant of Arabidopsis PARPs, parp1parp2, showed more rapid primary and lateral root growth. Cyclin genes regulating G1-to-S and G2-to-Mtransition were up-regulated upon treatment by 3-AB.The proportion of 2C cells increased while cells with higher DNA ploidy declined in the roots of treated plants, resulting in an enlarged root meristematic zone. The expression level of PARP2 was very low in the meristematic zone but high in the maturation zone, consistent with a role of PARP in inhibiting mitosis and promoting cell differentiation.
