| 2 | Effects of Calcination Temperature of Boron-Containing Magnesium Oxide Raw Materials on Properties of Magnesium Phosphate Cement as a Biomaterial显示文摘A new magnesium phosphate bone cement(MPBC) was prepared as a byproduct of boroncontaining magnesium oxide(B-MgO) after extracting Li_2CO_3 from salt lakes. We analyzed the elementary composition of the B-MgO raw materials and the effects of calcination temperature on the performance of MPBC. The phase composition and microstructure of the B-MgO raw materials and the hydration products(KMg PO_4·6H_2O) of MPBC were analyzed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that ionic impurities and the levels of toxic elements were sufficiently low in B-MgO raw materials to meet the medical requirements for Mg O(Chinese Pharmacopeia, 2010 Edition) and for hydroxyapatite surgical implants(GB23101.1-2008). The temperature of B-Mg O calcination had a marked influence on the hydration and hardening of MPBC pastes. Increasing calcination temperature prolonged the time required for the MPBC slurry to set, significantly decreased the hydration temperature, and prolonged the time required to reach the highest hydration temperature. However, the compressive strength of hardened MPBC did not increase with higher calcination temperatures. In the 900-1 000 ℃ temperature range, the hardened MPBC had a higher compressive strength. Imaging analysis suggested that the setting time and the highest hydration temperature of MPBC pastes were dependent on the size and crystal morphology of the B-Mg O materials. | 12 | Extraction of straight field roads between farmlands based on agricultural vehicle-mounted LiDAR显示文摘The application of autonomous agricultural vehicles is gaining popularity as a way to increase production efficiency and lower operational costs.To achieve high performance,perception tasks(such as obstacle detection,road extraction,and drivable area extraction)are of great importance.Compared with structured roads,field roads between farmlands,including unstructured roads and semi-structured roads,are unfavorable for autonomous agricultural vehicle driving due to their bumpiness and unstructured nature.This study proposed an extraction method for the straight field roads between farmlands.The proposed method was based on the point cloud data acquired by LiDAR(Velodyne VLP-16)mounted on a John Deere 12046B-1204 tractor.The proposed method has three aspects:Euclidean Clustering-based extraction,boundary-based extraction,and road point cloud curve segment modification.Firstly,Euclidean Clustering with K-Dimensional(KD)-Tree data structure was adopted to extract the road curve segments close to the LiDAR composed of road points.Secondly,the boundary lines constraint was constructed to extract the distant road curve segments.Thirdly,the local distance ratio was used to modify the extracted road curve segments.The average extraction accuracy for both semi-structured and unstructured roads exceeded 98%,and the false positive rate(FPR)was less than 0.5%.These experimental findings demonstrated that the proposed road extraction method was precise and effective.The proposed method of this study can be applied to enhance the perception ability of autonomous agricultural vehicles thereby increasing the efficiency and safety of field road driving. | Lili Yang Yuanyuan Xu Yajie Liang Jia Qin Yuanbo Li Xinxin Wang Weixin Zhai Long Wen Zhibo Chen Caicong Wu | 2022 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,5: | 1 |

| 15 | Long-term Properties of Aeolian Sand-magnesium Oxychloride Cement Composites and Its Engineering Application显示文摘In order to prepare a new material with long-term stable performance,low cost,easy construction,and ecological environmental protection,the influence of aeolian sand on the compressive and flexural strength as well as micro morphology and phase composition of magnesium oxychloride cement(MOC)was studied.The experimental results indicate that,with the increase of content of doping sand,the compressive strength and flexural strength of MOC decrease significantly.However,when the quality ratio of aeolian sand and light burned magnesia powder is 1:8,the performance meets the actual engineering needs.Namely,the compressive strength of MOC is not less than 18 MPa,and flexural strength is not less than 4 MPa.Meanwhile,within 12 months of age,the compressive strength and flexural strength are stable.There is no obvious change in phase composition,and its main phase is still 5·1·8 phase.Microscopic appearance changes from needle-like to gel-like shape.Based on engineering applications,it is found that when the novel sand-fixing material is used in the field for one year,its macroscopic feature is not damaged,compressive strength and flexural strength are also more stable,phase composition negligibly changes,and micro morphology has also been turned into be gellike shape.These further confirm the long-term stability and weather resistance of MOC doping aeolian sand,providing theoretical and technical support for the widely application of MOC in the field of sand fixation in the future. | 常成功 DONG Jinmei ZHENG Weixin WEN Jing 阎峰云 肖学英 AN Lingyun | 2023 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2023,38,4: | 0 |

| 17 | Behavior recognition and fuel consumption prediction of tractor sowing operations using smartphone显示文摘In order to qualitatively recognize the behaviors and investigate the relationship between fuel consumption and machinery driving modes of the tractor in a low-cost approach,this study proposed a method for behavior recognition and fuel consumption prediction of tractor sowing operations using a smartphone.First,three driving modes were developed for maize sowing scenarios:manual driving assisted driving and unmanned driving.While sowing,smartphone software and CAN(Controller Area Network)storage devices collected both positional data and engine operating conditions.Second,the tractor trajectory points were divided into kinematic sequences,with six driving cycle indicators built in each series based on the time window.Based on the semantic information of the kinematic sequences,the three operations of sowing,seeds filling,and turning round were well recognized.Last,a model for maize sowing fuel consumption forecast was advanced using the principal component analyses and random forest algorithm,regarding three factors:driving cycles,operating behaviors,and driving patterns.When compared to the traditional K-means algorithm,the results demonstrated that the harmonic mean of the precision and recall(F1 score)of sowing behavior recognition,seeds filling behavior recognition,and turning behavior recognition were enhanced by 2.06%,8.99%,and 21.79%,respectively.In terms of the impacts of driving modes and operating behaviors on fuel consumption,assisted driving mode had the lowest fuel usage for both sowing and turning behavior.Therefore,assisted driving is the most fuel-efficient mode for maize sowing.Combining the three driving modes,the relative error of the fuel consumption prediction model was 0.11 L/h,with the manual driving mode having the lowest relative error at 0.09 L/h.This research method lays the foundation for the optimization of tractor operation behavior,the selection of tractor driving mode,and the fine management of tractor fuel consumption. | Lili Yang Weize Tian Weixin Zhai Xinxin Wang Zhibo Chen Long Wen Yuanyuan Xu Caicong Wu | 2022 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,4: | 0 |
