| 10 | Effect of Dietary Phosphorus on the Growth and Body Components of Juvenile Synechogobius hasta显示文摘The effect of dietary phosphorus on the growth and body components of juvenile Synechogobius hasta was determined. Different percentages of dietary phosphorus (0.63, 0.77, 0.93, 1.06, 1.22 and 1.36) were tested by feeding the fish (body weight, 15.81 g ± 0.32 g; 20 individuals each group; 3 groups each percentage) at a surplus of 5%–10% above satiation for 35 d. Dietary phosphorus did not significantly affect the specific growth rate, feed intake, feed conversion ratio and protein efficiency rate. Nitrogen retention was found to be the highest in fish fed the diet containing 1.06% of phosphorus; however, this was not significantly different from other diets. Fish fed the diet containing 0.93% of phosphorus showed the highest phosphorus retention; similar phosphorus retention rates were found in fish fed the diets containing 0.77% and 1.06% of phosphorus. Fish fed the diet containing the highest percentage of dietary phosphorus were found to contain the least whole body lipid, lower than fish fed other diets (P<0.05). The protein content increased from 18.59% to 19.55% (although not significant) with the decrease of body lipid content (P>0.05). The contents of the whole body ash, whole body phosphorus and vertebrae phosphorus increased with dietary phosphorus percentage up to 1.06 (P<0.05), reaching a plateau after that. Dietary phosphorus did not significantly influence the muscle components (protein, lipid and moisture). Condition factor and hepatosomatic index were the highest in fish fed the diet containing 0.63% of dietary phosphorus; however, this was not significantly different from those of other diets. The secondorder polynomial regression of phospho- rus retention against dietary phosphorus identified a breakpoint at 0.88% of dietary phosphorus. | 13 | Whether human-induced activities could change the gradient pattern of coastal land use along the sea-land direction:a case study in Manila Bay,Philippines显示文摘Increasing intense human activities have largely changed the coastal landscape and caused many environmental issues.However,whether human-induced activities could change the coastal land use gradient pattern,an important coastal zonal characteristic along the sea-land direction,remains unclear.Manila Bay was selected as the study area in this work.According to the distance of the land use and land cover(LULC)to the coastline,we clustered the typical coastal land use sequence patterns(CLUSPs)along the sea-land direction between 1988 and 2016 in Manila Bay and found the following.(1)Four typical CLUSPs,including the natural CLUSP dominated by forest land and grassland,the agricultural CLUSP dominated by dry farm and paddy field,the urbanised CLUSP dominated by construction land and the fishery CLUSP dominated by fishing farm,were mined in 1988.Three typical CLUSPs(a natural CLUSP,an intermediate CLUSP between the agricultural and urbanised CLUSPs,and a fishery CLUSP)were mined in 2016.(2)Affected by the dominant LULC,these typical CLUSPs showed a regular spatial pattern along the sea-land direction.For example,the typical natural CLUSP showed a landward pattern due to the long distance between the forest land and grassland and the coastline.(3)However,influenced by urban and aquaculture expansion,the land intensification of the CLUSP exhibited an obvious increase and caused the decrease of the CLUSP diversity from 1988 to 2016.The increase in the area of LULC coverage showed no obvious correlation with its distance from the coastline(DFC),but the net increase rate of LULC coverage had a significant negative correlation with the DFC.Therefore,human-induced activities have a large impact on the gradient pattern of coastal land use along the sea-land direction. | Zhi Ding Fenzhen Su Yanan Chen Ying Liu Xue Feng Wenqiu Hu Fengqin Yan He Li Pujia Yu Xuguang Tang | 2023 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2023,42,2: | 0 |
| 14 | Micro-Expression Recognition Based on Spatio-Temporal Feature Extraction of Key Regions显示文摘Aiming at the problems of short duration,low intensity,and difficult detection of micro-expressions(MEs),the global and local features of ME video frames are extracted by combining spatial feature extraction and temporal feature extraction.Based on traditional convolution neural network(CNN)and long short-term memory(LSTM),a recognition method combining global identification attention network(GIA),block identification attention network(BIA)and bi-directional long short-term memory(Bi-LSTM)is proposed.In the BIA,the ME video frame will be cropped,and the training will be carried out by cropping into 24 identification blocks(IBs),10 IBs and uncropped IBs.To alleviate the overfitting problem in training,we first extract the basic features of the preprocessed sequence through the transfer learning layer,and then extract the global and local spatial features of the output data through the GIA layer and the BIA layer,respectively.In the BIA layer,the input data will be cropped into local feature vectors with attention weights to extract the local features of the ME frames;in the GIA layer,the global features of the ME frames will be extracted.Finally,after fusing the global and local feature vectors,the ME time-series information is extracted by Bi-LSTM.The experimental results show that using IBs can significantly improve the model’s ability to extract subtle facial features,and the model works best when 10 IBs are used. | Wenqiu Zhu Yongsheng Li Qiang Liu Zhigao Zeng | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,77,10: | 0 |
